Yea that Engi pregame 8 seconds of regen and 5 seconds of swiftness in the video sure did alter the game.

I just showed you there was a skill cap on pre-game strats but hey whatever dude, you either had an ele or not :^)

poorly presented. embarrassing to watch. both of you sound obnoxious, immature and used unnecessarily offensive speech at times. both you and swagg are like the guys who always come in last place at every marathon, who are now trying to lead and educate runners on how to be successful at marathons. I don’t know what’s worse, your presentation and attitude, or the fact that you had on a guest who spammed the forum with a bunch of poorly thought out gibberish that only sounded good on paper to you and a couple of other low quality gamers clinging to spvp while the overwhelming majority of veteran and top level players moved on.

- if no pikes
1.1 – BIOS – Set 8/4 cores 4.0Ghz set 1.28V set LLC (load line cal.) ON- all power saving settings ON!
1.2 – test Prime 95 10min (max FFT-test)- check CPU speed (pikes)
1.3 – If stable lower voltages if not higher voltage

4 cores will be enough – you will be able to get lower V and higher OC

i have Fx 6300 – using 2M/4C – 3.5Ghz 1.1V

K so my bios version is completed updated again. All my drivers are good.

The original bios is 1.10 btw and there wasnt much written on my mb besides that

I just reread most of this thread, It really sounds like the system board isn’t communicating with the CPU properly. Probably due to the BIOS.

You are using the SAME Motherboard that you upgraded your system from. It was working perfectly on the old CPU/GPU.

that really tells me its a BIOS code issue at this point. So updating the BIOS should resolve this.

the BIOS is updated to the very latest it can be.

what BIOS is running on your MB. According to ASRock’s website you NEED to be on bios version P1.20 to have an FX8350 installed in your Motherboard.

I jsut recentely updated my BIOS but http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Pro3/?cat=CPU shows me exactly what i need no download links to it.. but then theres http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Pro3/?cat=Download&os=BIOS&Model=970%20Pro3 that has download links, should i just get 1.90?

I didnt look at your BIOS versions, as there are different versions of that board. You need to MATCH the model number with the BIOS download PERFECTLY, else you risk Bricking your BIOS and wrecking the board.

Open the case, and look for the model number (generally between PCI-E Slots) and record the entire string on paper, including any ver, ref, series number that may follow.

use that to find the proper bios version for your Board.

In the current bios you should be able to see what version is installed. p1.20 is the first BIOS that they released to fully support the FX8350 CPU.

While the previous BIOS might work with that CPU, the P1.20 will probably address performance issues and include the proper ref machine ID/UID codes the bios will use to properly ID the CPU.

This is where you now need to start, verify your system board version, verify your BIOS version vs what the current latest is. If the latest is newer then update the BIOS and start troubleshooting from scratch.

So far no lag at all, CPU max temps hit 64 C in huge zergs.

SO i turned off the thermal protection shizz on my BIOS and it went really steady and all my issues were gone. Now its a whole different type of lag. Now instead of dropping frames my game just skips 60 frames every few seconds. Awesome

Are you sure that you plugged all the power connections into the Motherboard that needed to be plugged in?

There should be a 20+4, and a 4+4, and MAYBE a 4pin Molux connector.

Its also kinda starting to sound like maybe your motherboard is just bad.

It is a really old mobo.. but i dont have money to replace it.

With out being there to see it myself, there isnt much I can do from here.

But this is what I know, something in your system is throttling your CPU and possibly your GPU. Once you find out what, you can fix the issue.

Maybe tear your system apart like mentioned before. Reset your BIOS, and put everything back together and see if that helps. You did build your system yea?

Ya i built it all myself.. IDK Its literally just this game that does this like I’ve said before

It could be my /CPU cooler but i recently screwed it in a little more… My temps dont rise that high honestly and its a watercooler. theres no way its getting that hot

when you lag, your CPU drops to 1Ghz?

if so, then your CPU is the cause of this…..

But my GPU clock drops too…
