And then we need to burn a transmutation charge whenever we want to move from town clothes to a combat look. Not great for roleplayers.

There is no transmutation charge to change outfits or toggle it on and off.
Transmutation charges are for applying new skins to specific armor pieces, same as now.

Yes outfits are all or nothing.
Yes wearable in combat. There will be no non-combat equipment anymore, unless you count tonics.

So u saying I can wear my hollowed costume in combat…..? If that is true, thank you.

So I never buy any aesthetic items. And it’s not because I can’t afford them. It’s because I really don’t feel like they are worth anything. The reason behind this is that an item you simply buy for a few bucks is not showing any accomplishment. It only means that you have to much time and like spending it doing the same things over and over again or you can just afford it. So that’s why gem store aesthetic items are not compelling for me.
What’s more disturbing for me is that I feel like they are damaging this game reward system. Whole year has passed and we didn’t see a single armor set added to the game that is obtainable by playing it. All new armor sets were sucked in by the gem store.

My suggestion on how to fix it?

Try adding armors that are obtainable by completing meta-achievements (for example) but can’t be completed without a special item (like a magic hammer or stitch and needle) that can be bought only in the gem store. And make that special item a lot cheaper then whole armor set (like 100 gems).

Maybe someone has some other ideas? Or feel the same way about the gem store aesthetics?

Why werent you kittening about the pvp tournament by Anet in the summer? They gave a lot more than a legendary there.

I know they talked more about the rewards but the legendary of choice is the main focus.

Since the patch a few minutes ago, the assault knights do not seem to drop loot for everyone anymore. I killed two, did not get any loot out of it. I even stayed until everyone had left to see if i see a corpse or chest but nothing. A lot of people in map chat said the same.

Is this the green boss. .? If it is I too didn’t get loots or chest.

If u’re smart u would stop doing Teq event by now. I just laugh and feel sorry for ppl that spent so much time on events like Teq and gets nothing and comes on here and complain.

I am not complain about not getting items, its about how you get the items. It pure farm gold buy matts its not like your doing, lets say, 10 Dynamic events on each map, collecting a certain token. After you have done that, you combine all tokens and get a item on the lvl of Volcanus. This is just a example, im not saying that how it should work.

So are saying Anet should just hand everyone a cool item just because u grind for a certain amount of time? What’s the point of the game if everyone has the same item and pol who don’t work hard gets the same s…t as u do

You clearly do not understand what I am trying to get to. This is about not wanting to spend time grinding for a item. It is about what you have to do to obtain a item. Its not like I can grind fractals and get a Ascended armor set, or I cant run a set amount of dungeons for Foefire’s essence or do a chain of difficult quest to get a precursor.

Of u don’t want to spend time grinding for an item then just don’t get that item period. This is Guild Wars and if this is how they set the rules of getting a cool and if u want it then follow the steps.

What’s the point in playing a game you have .76% chance in 2109 tries of getting something you desire aka a precursor.

What’s the point of playing a game in which you kill one of the hardest bosses in game 80 time’s (Teq) and open all 80 bags and receive nothing but blues and greens.

Gw2 is a great game but the RNG and lack of options to obtain certain armor/weaps is really depressing. I dont know if its because NCsoft wanted it this way so people buy more gems or what, but this really needs to change.

All of those items are obtainable. Precursors are the hardest but if u save up u can get it. Your Foe fire’s Essence is easy to get. U just don’t want it hard enough. How many hours have u sink in to this game I want to know?

I am not saying its not possible to get these items. What I am saying is that to get these items. I am forced to do boring content. Unless I want to wait a year before I can afford I 500g weapon. I have over 2k hours in gw2.

If u don’t want to grind then take out your wallet. With 2k hours I’m sure u have more then enough. Sell everything in your inventory. I bet u would get at least 200g from just that along if u played since launched.

And yes Dolyak event in LA appears more frequent then other events. U can gain a whole ton of xp from that.

I talked to a guy the other day,he was lvling a toon and he said he went from 40 whatever 3 days zerging the quests!
My mesmer went only from 3 to 16 in 2-3 days(counting the 6 xp scrolls),meaning i got only 7 lvl ups by normal xp!And i am asking y now..what did i do wrong?I was running like a madman from one fight to another dealing as much dmg as i could to multiple mobs…

There’s a xp booster that u can get from the birthday present that gives out 100% xp. Which means it doubles your regular xp that u get from whatever u’re doing. Plus u can also buy tomes from vendors with found belongings to gain levels.

I would just get the 200 glory mystery coffers. It contains random armors but u will get a high chance of getting all the Orian set.

U have to transmute the item with the original character first before u can transmute them with the character u want. By transmitting with the original character it made it account bound.

U talking about leveling from level 70 to 80? Or from level 35 to 70 or 80? I would craft. Or buy tomes from glory vendor to level up.

Will the GW2 china release have any effect on the TP?

They didn’t say anything about pve to pvp. They sometime in the future they will make pvp armors available for pve through a system. Your pvp armors right now will not get erased, I don’t see why they would get erased. The only thing getting taken from pvp is the glories and the glory vendors.
