I always hated rng until today, I got a hologram dragon wing today from killing a moa in metrica province, my MF was just at 3%.

I think they’re talking about recipe s for the minis, if u put the 3 minis u bought from the TP plus the risen knight mini u get from dragon coffers into the forge u will get an exotic mini

i always Play GW2 together with my wife, so our meps or the chance to drop something should be similar, just wondering if anyone else had the luck to drop those 100k holo wings from a mob?

so far i got around 7 knight minis, no tickets, my wife on the other hand has around 12 minis, 3 (!) tickets AND 2 holo wings from mobs. I mean, is she really THAT lucky or did they change something? before it happened I had no clue that mobs can drop them.

Since they’re all in low level areas, they get blown up really fast, just a few autoattacks for some classes. I’m finding that by the time I waypoint over, use swiftness to run to the projector, someone else has killed it, time after time again, my loading screens are a bit long, so but basically you have 5 seconds to kill all the mobs once the projector gets popped.

Can their health be increased or some other solution be found out (yes I know, get a better computer, whatever) so that people can actually get credit for these things?

Thanks to u they nerf the hologram creatures. Now u have to wai like 5 seconds before u can kill them.

Why are u guys spending so much gold just to get the achievement. Use the winning token to buy the bags and get your gold back. I dont think I lost any gold at all. I bought the 7 token bag and got 1 gold from each bag. I actually make some silvers if u minuse the couple times I’ve lost.

I usually just bet on the first one , place a bet go use the toilet, read book, eat something and come back check your mail…lol thats what i did and got my achievement.

I would just buy like 1000 regular coffers and open all of them without looking at it. Once u know u have open all of them tthen go back and check what u get, it would be alot of fun this way. If fact im gonna do that once I get of work lol. Im sure I will get a ticket.

I agreed with everything u just said. If u like the game, u want to look awesome, and u really want that new item then spend some money on it and dont complain about.

Don’t forget the best place to get these is in low pop servers, in places that aren’t often visited by players. Some etiquette is nice to have as well- taking a moment to look around you for anyone close before activating, keeping the max players at each activation to less than 3 will allow better results especially in low level areas. The coffers and candy are available on broker from other players, as are the minis. Good luck to everyone who farms these or buys them from players/gems, just try to be considerate so it doesn’t ruin the fun of others.

Yeah join a guild. Make sure its a good guild. some guilds have like 100 active members at a time and no one uses mumble or guild chat. Stay away from those. I’m in Knights of ARES now on Dragonbrand. I love it cause even though I might be doing some spvp or random pve alone, I can always join the convo on guild chat or hop on mumble for a laugh.

Anything you want, any choice on gem store, and saving it for future purchases is an option. What would you do with 50,000 gems? (a bit more than $600 worth, if I did math right)

It is over 1000 gold transferred from gems>gold(if I did math right), you could buy keys to take your chances at rng boxes, you could expand your characters to see how many we can truly have. So what would you do with it?

I would be unsure what to do, don’t need the gold really. But maybe a huge BL chest opening, or expand every alts inventory. Here’s a few numbers in case you were curious :P

I did bought at lease 30,000 worth of gem cards, its just annoying entering all those codes to redeem. I exchanged them for gold and bought all the mats for my twilight.

Join a guild… u will have alot of fun with that.. I will invite u if u like, we do dungeons, guild missions, and pretty much every other thing in the game.

I don’t know exactly how I would feel with a legendary, but I recently went through something just as, if not more painful. At least that’s how it felt to me.

I was going through the tutorial mission on an Asura and as I was destroying the Prototype X, or whatever it is called, I suddenly got disconnected and when I looked at the character selection screen all of my characters were gone. I can’t describe the feeling I got, but I was almost certain that I would quit, because ArenaNet don’t restore lost characters as far as I know.

My client then crashed, and my internet went off completely.
After about ten minutes my internet went back up and I started the client again. When I got to the character selection screen my characters were back.

I haven’t felt like that since I was little and my mom as a joke told me on Christmas eve that I wouldn’t get any presents because I had been bad.

I bet your face looks like this when that happened.

Hello everyone. My name is Rom, I’m just an average GW2 player trying to have a good time with my friends. I’ve rarely ever taken part in forums, but I felt I needed to bring this to attention.

A few days ago, someone close to me got scammed. She wanted a particular item and saw someone in Lion’s Arch map chat advertising it for sale. She asked him how much and he stated a reasonable price. He claimed he couldn’t afford the listing fees of the Trade Post and that he wanted a quick sale. Once she agreed he asked that she forward half the payment and some materials for insurance, then he would send the item and once the rest of the payment was made he would return the materials. He seemed like a friendly GW2 player trying to make a trade, unfortunately this was far from the truth. Once she sent him half the payment and the materials he blocked her and continued to advertise in map chat. Of course she tried to warn people off but he claimed that she was a liar and that she couldn’t afford the price he was offering.

After doing some research we found out that this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened, another person from a different server had been scammed by the same person using the exact same method. That player had gone through the processes too, trying to get something done about this, but nothing happened. Her thread was deleted and she was punished.

Now, you might be wondering why I’m making this post instead of the person who got scammed or who is the scammer and what’s being done about this? I’ll answer that last question first, nothing. She’s gone through the process of reporting and making a support ticket too, but the scammer won’t be punished. Secondly, I won’t be revealing who this scammer is even though I have that information because it’s against the CoC and I don’t want this post to be deleted. Finally, I’m making this post on behalf on the person who got scammed because I want her identity protected. She does not deserve to be the victim of any snide comments regarding this, she’s already beat herself up about this enough.

Now some of you may be thinking it’s her own fault and maybe it is, but ask yourself this…Haven’t you ever trusted someone who appeared to be a straight-up person? I don’t make this post in the hope of any sort of revenge, I do it so that you, your friends, your guild and even maybe your server knows that this is happening and knows how to avoid it. If you’ve read all the way down to this sentence, I thank you, you’ve taken the time to read this and now at least you know that this is happening.

Please, inform whoever you know about this, tell them about it or even bring them to this post, but don’t let this scamming continue. The only sure way of fighting this type of scamming is to prevent it.
