I really hope that they allow us to do dungeons with friends from US/EU, I also can’t wait for guesting to be avalible and then I hope they allow us to go between EU/US as we like.
I was able to tank alot in AC on my guardian before Merciful Intervention got nerfed, I still can tank a bit in there but now I need to kite and dodge more. The build I ran used alot of healing, high toughness and low vitality so it worked kind of similar to 55 builds like in GW1 (although not nearly as effective).

Actually, Ressing in Death shroud is amazing. If they only made it easier by allowing us to hit F options while in DS, i’d be fine with our lower lackluster traits.
(currently, hitting F1 and F at the same time works.. you can rez in DS)
Ressing in DS is defenetly not intended and whenever I do it i get stuck in place and need to use Drak Path to move if I still have any LF left, otherwise I just gotta get downed and back up if I want to move around.
Lets hope this will not become a trend for bosses
Yes it should be easy to obtain and I think the comunity has very much showed how unhappy it is with the new tier of gear that is hard to optain.
You are right it is not fair at all but it is also not the least bit surprising considering the lack of interest the developers have shown necros
I snatched one, pretty relived that I don’t have to do a bunch of dungeon runs for rabid moded armor, I also got new weapons to go with it
Would be cool to make it apply to other skills than just shattering but I think it would be very tricky for them to do without throwing balance out the window.
My opinion’s still that they should have removed the spells and kept the blast finisher instead of vice versa. You could up the damage on the spells tenfold and it’d still be useless, because you’ll always be out of range of your target when you dodge.

I watched your whole video and I think the idea at the end is pretty neat and I would love to see it happen. But I think necros also need alot more tweaking though and I think necros have some of the worst traits avalible and the attributes that they picked for each traitline do not always go too well together.
I used the same skill setup alot for PvP except I used a dagger OH with the scepter. I dont like your choise of traits and runes though and I do not think it is OP although it can get the job done against a single target.
I am also just tierd of ppl posting their builds claiming to have found the best one and not even using the stickied build thread.
I have done a few dungeons cross servers but I have been unable to get friends from an american server to join me in a dungeon on a european server. I know others have had this problem also so I urge you to fix it because splitting up old friends from different parts of the world is not cool.
Staff is actually more for control than dmg but if you want to get more dmg out of it I guess power would be a better bet even though I do not recomend it at all.
Imo mace would not fit the ritualist at all. The weapons I think go well with ritualists are staff, scepter, focus, torch, daggers (both mh and oh) and for underwater trident and spear.
Anyway I dont really have much to add, I just really wanna see rits make a comback.

As someone who spends to much time kittening on the forums I just want to say that I really enjoy the game but I also think it is important to let the developers know of problems such as bugs and balance or difficulty issues.
If you look at the current state of PvP you can see that balance there is a mess and just being quiet and accepting that will not help anyone. The reason these forums are here is so that developers can get feedback on the game and see what needs to be fixed or how the comunity likes the direction they are taking the game in.
Just accepting everyithing they do is not being a fan but a fanboy.
@steelwolf: they already said they’re going to implement more ascended armor options soonTM, so, they’ll eventually be available. even then, unless the infusion bonuses are somehow equivalent to rune/sigil bonuses (unlikely), you still won’t be using ascended armor for anything, but, this one particular dungeon.
Even if the new gear would only be good for the new dungeon it is a really bad idea to have a dungeon requireing specific gear. And just imagine down the line trying to find a group for that dungeon if you don’t have ascendant gear.
I am a bit pissed that they just added a new tier off armor because I went through alot of effort to earn 5 full exotic sets for my characters that will now just be obsolite.
Heh I do more than 5 dungeon runs a day so this is no problem for me at all but I don’t care much for WvW because getting killed by massive zergs is not fun to me or killing others while I am in a massive zerg requires no skill at all so I would much rather have that removed from monthly than dungeons.
I hate to burst your buble but this build is not OP at all, it has both weak dmg and defensive utilities and wells dont have much usefulness to them in PvP

I still wonder how people can say they run CoE in 30 minutes. I have a really good guild team but we run Teleport Path in 1 hour. You need 30 total minutes only to kill Alpha 3 times… So please tell me how could you run all the dungeon in 30 minutes. Different path? O_o
Well 30 mins is about as fast as it can possibly be done with very high dmg and nothing going wrong and the submarine path can be done a bit faster than the teleporter, the fastest run I have ever had was on the submarine path and took 30+ mins. If I manage to do any of the paths in 40-50 mins I would say that it was a very good run and if I do them in about an hour it is not a bad run either.
I was wondering what the most usefull racial skills would be and I figured that it are Technobabble for an instant cast rupt and Prayer to Kormir if an extra condition removal is needed.
I am curious to know what racials others think would come in most handy and why.
AC is prolly the fastest but I have had the best luck with drops in CoE, both for rares and Charged Cores/Lodestones. CoE can also be done in ~30 mins if you get a good group.
Only reason ppl skip him is cuz it is faster to do so, kind of funny you thought ppl could not kill him. Who looks like an amateur now?
I recently transferd servers and on my new server Arah has been bugged the whole time but on my old server Desolation it was not bugged most of the time.
My biggest problem with necro appart from the bugs is the compleate lack of mobility, stun breakers or defenseive abilities such as blocks or stuns making them almost unplayable in PvP even though they can put out some heavy damage with conditions.
It also hurts me alot to see the current useless state of minions.

Heh CoE is my favorite dungeon of all.
And about the crystals, mesmers, necromancers, elementalists, guardian and thiefs can all break out of the crystals, all you need is an instant cast teleport.

over a week ago I transfered servers and on my new server Arah has been bugged cloesed the whole time I have been on that server. I have checked it every day, sometimes a few times a day. The waypoint is never contested though.
I know you are probobly very aware that Arah is bugged for some servers but I really hope that something gets done soon about it very soon.

Well I would much rather get speed buffs for it than dmg buffs, I don’t think it would need a dmg buff if it got a reasonable cast and fly time.
I support this because doing the tutorial over and over just to try a new profession in pvp get tierd very quickly. In GW1 i had 9 character slots, 8 of them I used for my RP characters and the extra one for a PvP one. I would often change what profession I had in the PvP slot and I would like to be able to do that in GW2 also without playing the same missions over and over again.
Swap Reaper’s Mark (staff no.5) for Mark of Horror (Lich Form) and buff Reaper’s Mark so that it is viable while in Lich Form. Would make staff alot more fun to me and make minions a bigger part of the necro.
