I’m just restating what your own server blamed your T1 loss on.

Don’t get upset with me, quite frankly I enjoy the fights with you guys and IoJ. I think they are a blast.

Thai and HB from BG off the top of my head.

And Hire and ND from IoJ are fun fights.

Good guilds from what I’ve seen.

The only thing we know of KnT is saying they were going to “headhunt” us then running away every encounter.

Quite frankly KnT talks a big game, but that’s about it.

As many of the Blackgate have said themselves many times, the NA timeslot is your weakest and the reason you got kicked from T1.

I’m sure I’m stating the obvious since this has been said before by your own server players but while your server’s overall coverage is pretty good, the overall quality of the guilds is lower than the current T1 servers.

Very fixable, though it’s going to be almost 2 months since you’ve guys been in T1, that issue should be fixed by now.

Either way, once again, it’s been great fights.

Same thing as always, SoR wins NA, then BG comes in for pvedoor against both realms, then IoJ will come in to pvedoor after that, then NA will come around again and SoR will win that time slot, etc etc etc

Nothing has really changed. Personally, I’m still waiting for any guild on any of the servers to accept our guild v guild challenge.

Though as a side note, it’s been fun in BG BL today. Good fights as always.

BTW, whatever server sent us the preacher troll into our TS after we wiped BG out of IoJ BL.

Yeah, the coverage gaps are so obvious in this matchup.

We need a shakeup to make it more interesting. Some large force or group of forces needs to tip the balance with any of the 3 servers so this matchup gets put to bed.

Not that it’s not a lot of fun, but changing it up every now and then is a good time too.

Why is BG raining on SBI’s recruit thread.

You guys had your day in T1 and you got kicked out. Change up your gameplay or recruit the gaps in your coverage, but why hate on any other server because you guys couldn’t compete?

Rock on T1 duders, rock on. If SoR gets some more coverage, we hope to see you guys soon.

Oooh wait a second. You come here to the forums and brag about winning 40+ fights vs. 12 of HB and sometimes the same number of LotD? Even when we didnt have LotD around, we still tried taking you head on. Sure we died some, but we never turn down a fight, and we had alot of fun, and badges, fighting you guys.

Our numbers are still the highest during EU primetime, but hopefully we´ll have more numbers in NA primetime aswel soon.

We didnt. I have the fights recorded so we could learn from them. In one of the fights I open our guild roster and we had 14 online, out of which 12 were in wvw. We do still enjoy fighting you guys, and you are for sure better than some of the bigger guilds on SoR that I wont mention here.

Put up the fights, I’d love to see them too.

And you guys are also a great fight. Also, if you guys have less and want to ever setup a fight, we will fight with what you have. Just let me know, it’s hard to find guilds that are interested in guild v guild in this matchup.

Up for a guild v guild open field?

I think this is the first time it’s been mentioned, and the main reason I brought it up is because of the recent posts from IoJ’ers here and on guru complaining about the sinking ship that is IoJ. Otherwise I wouldn’t have mentioned it at all.

While no one ever WANTS to move, IoJ is on its way down, while SoR is just sitting at status quo because of lack of coverage. You are right that the two servers together would make quite a powerhouse but at the end of the day it’s clear that the IoJ WvW guilds want to be competitive and play at a higher level, not get sunk down into the abyss of T3 and beyond.

The decay that an ex-T1 server has once it’s into T3 and beyond is pretty much un-recoverable. Maybe IoJ will be the exception to this history, but thus far people from your own server are saying that it’s getting worse not better and IoJ isn’t even in T3 yet.

That’s just my opinion of course, take it for what you will. And quite frankly, you could go anywhere not just SoR, because I think you have a fair amount of decent guilds over there, I just mention SoR because it would definitely fill a gap so it would be a “match made in heaven” so to speak.

Either way, it’s been a great match so far. We’ll see how the match plays out and how much longer this tier stays the same. From the looks of it, for at least the forseeable future.

IoJ from the looks of it, the posts of some members, and the couple of people I’ve had the pleasure of talking to in game is slowly dying. They should merge the active WvWers from IoJ into SoR and make a balanced server to push into T1.

Could be a lot of fun and an interesting shake up of things. If any guilds from IoJ have interest, send me a PM, we can talk.

Eh, I know most people on SoR are actually rejuvenated and ready for another round.

We just like fighting for the sake of fighting regardless of the results.

When we had our weekly pre-reset server wide guild meeting, everyone was pretty amused about our loss and how we’d have to do better next time around.

While I agree the population imbalance is pretty blatant and significant, when we do have the same numbers, it does make for some pretty epic few hours you have to admit.

And I wouldn’t count anyone out anytime, the last match has shown the week long fights can go to the last hour.

Yeah, same matchup, prob will be the same for a while.

Still fun as heck.

Lot’s of fun last night in BGBL! Had a blast in the zerg on zerg battles against TW. Also, to the charr warrior or guardian I battled at the supply camp in bgbl last night that ended in 3 downed throwing rocks, that was awesome! /salute !

It’s been an amazing match minus the incident.

And whether IoJ pulls out the 2nd or not, it’s good to change things up regardless, just goes to show you have to play till the end.

It’s better to be in one of these type of tiers than the ones where the match is over early in the week.

Good job IoJ, way to keep fighting till the end.

Current matchup from about 7/8pm est to 3am est SoR usually ticks at around 300-400+ppt against BG and IoJ.

Our ppt goes to around ~100 from 3am est till 8/9am est because we just lack the overnight.

We don’t need the whole world to transfer here, but just enough to maintain a ppt close enough to keep it competitive.

Coming from a T1 server and playing against the top 12 already, I can easily say that in my opinion SoR has one of the most competitive NA crews around, we just need help during the oceanic times.

Though we probably do have room for maybe even 1 large or 2 medium NA guilds also to completely cap all 4 BLs with a reasonable 10-15min queue.

Wow, you have us pegged exactly. Now that you have successfully called us out, everyone on BG might as well fess up to other nefarious behavior you might have missed. I’ll start:

When we took your garrison early this week I personally:

• Washed my hands with the decorative soaps in the Garrison bath room

• Repeatedly opened and closed the Water Gate even though it had a sign that said "Keep this gate closed at all times

• Drank the last cup of coffee in the Lord’s Break room without brewing a fresh pot

And they didn’t take bay, but they did try to exploit it again. And this is why I don’t respect BG because you guys have seen it first hand and still deny it wanting more proof. We aren’t BG’s exploiter police, get your server pride and rules of conduct up yourselves.

Way to say you’re not going to do it again and you’re sorry, yet exploit again the very next day, same mesmer, same guild.

I’m sorry BG doesn’t like me pointing out the truth. You should get used to it because I may be vocal about it, but you can be sure everyone else is definitely thinking it.

We’re in Green BL, you better make sure your game is as big as your forum posts.

Your math is assuming that ICOA didn’t just move from map to map and exploit bay, which is quite possible because at many points, all 3 bays have been held by BG.

The amount of points skewed by the exploiting is underestimated by everybody.

And you don’t have to like what I say, but I’m a competitor and anyone who cheats isn’t worthy of respecting as an opponent.

As for TW, I’m the guild leader and we play for the competition, period. The end result win/lose/draw is a by-product of the “fight”. The actual fight is what makes the game fun. When someone is cheating, it ruins both the fight and the result.

Anyone who cheats to win, whether by not speaking up or even participating, is just as bad as the cheater.

And I’m being vocal because quite frankly BG needs to be made an example of so that all the legitimate servers and guilds out there manage their player base better collectively so we can have good fights. Especially because of how many people actually used the exploited portal, that is what is the most troublesome. The TiD issue was a small guild, the ICOA exploit portals was at times the entire BL porting in with an exploit, that’s outrageous.

I don’t expect you to boycott anything, but you can’t be pissed when people no longer have respect for you as a server.

Fact of the matter is in that video it was at least 30ish people that used the exploit portal. But that was the 6th or 7th portal of the night that he exploited in, at one point there were at least 60-70 BG that used it.

It’s shameful that out of the 6 or 7 portals each time at least 30-40 people sometimes upwards of 60-70 people, not one person spoke out about it how the same mesmer was dropping the 1st outter portal and then the 2nd inner and how no one spoke up when you’d see him jumping in the corner trying to glitch in.

I personally don’t know of any other servers who have been caught “red handed” twice in two different tiers.

I honestly had a lot of respect for you guys as a pvp’er and a competitor, but that went out the window.

It’s outrageous how many guild tags used the exploited portal.

Which is why servers should be more pro-active.

And this isn’t Blackgate’s first incident with hacking/exploiting. You guys had a major incident about it in T1.

Blame yourselves for not improving your behavior and taking cheating lightly.

Once again, you can’t blame people that they don’t take you seriously anymore.

Not sure considering the white haired ICOA mesmer was right there.

I don’t see why we should give you the benefit of the doubt quite frankly.

BG has to earn it’s reputation back. Especially considering you guys did all the exploiting and hacking BS in T1 too. Can’t blame people for thinking what they do about your server.

The hilarious thing is, this is the time we finally got him on fraps. They’ve been doing it non-stop all day, and everytime it is with the entire BG force.

The same people over and over using his exploited port, not one BG questioning it.

It’s sad Hackgate, really sad and pathetic.

Quite frankly, it’s embarrassing especially when you guys are now winning and many of the times you’ve taken the Bay past 2 nights it was with their exploiting.
