I have two tickets left, that I thought I can use later. But there are no skins anymore

In another thread there was this idea of WP’ing people who are being AFK or died and just kept laying around for loot to occur/event to finish more then “X” time …sounds briljant to me.
My addition would be:
With simple calculations it must be doable to sent them to the farthest WP possible; preferrably to another map => home instance for example
(free of charge of course..we dont want to penalize those afk leeching SOB’s too much :P )

Different parts of the game require different so called “builds”
If you want to be supportive to a group for events/dungeons/fractals, adjust your gear and traits accordingly. if you want to be solo’ing in PvE (Player versus Environment), you do the same…this also goes for PvP (Player versus Player) or WvW (World versus World)
Take a look at gw2build.com for reviews on existing builds or make a new one that fits your needs.
As you already noticed, I did not reply to your question about torch or shield..but thats because you have to answer the first question before..what am i in which part of the game

Ok why are you not an ANet dev? This game needs the rise of another elder dragon, AND a new playable race (maybe even a new class). And the game needs it NOW!!!!!!!!! There are 5 Elder dragons, 6 if you count the """""secret""""" dragon behind the Sylvari. One is already dead, so what is ANet waiting for? Releasing each dragon every 5 years? We need something huge to happen now for this game to remain relevant. And LS (which has never been a HUGE deal up until MAYBE today’s “cataclysm”), is not gonna keep the game alive by its own.
Dragons rise every 1000 years..so keep playing LOL
But seriously, you are right..it would mean a nice new achievement

An idea to think about..
How would it be like to have default finishers based on gear?
Think about this:
-Based on type of weapon/armor
-Based on type of profession
-Based on race
A combination of all above
Examples:
A Sylvari Guardian would grow a huge oak on the downed player
An Asura Engineer would spawn multiple laser turrets around a downed player and blast him/her to smithereens
A Charr Warrior would call upon a warband to tear a downed player apart
etc
etc
It does not has to replace current finishers which can be bought, but it sure would add some fun IMO

2. Ettin (Charr being the only big clumsy looking race is just not enough :P )

99% of you don’t even do that yourselves. You all run to the forum and say “What’s the best?” You don’t question it. You don’t test it. You just run in and then tell everyone “That is the best because damage.” You don’t know WHY!
So like I said, I would not notice a difference. It does not affect my game.

Got me already quite a few sprockets which will be , IMO (In My Opinion..it is mine…not yours..don’t care about yours, no offense :P) be worth something more then just the 35 copper it is now. If not, well..it looks cool too

Just one for now…PLEASE do smt about using a salvage kit on a rare/higher loot or misclick on a non-salvageable item and then have to select the salvage kit AGAIN!

The gem store is in game. Whether you can get gems with gold or real money is irrelevant. Please pay attention to that fact.
No, the gem store is auxiliary to the game. It’s a part of the game, but it’s not -in- the game.
Aside from that, you still have not told me where else in the game, aside from the gem store, which is a cash shop, I can get a pick that gives a specific bonus.
There isn’t..but why bother asking the same question over and over ?
On subject:
I have this one..earned gold, converted to gems, bought the kitten thing and love it. And even more..I also have the other infinite pick. It saves me from switching gathering tools between chars everytime I switch. And I switch a lot…

For WvW this feature is necessary, because there are no overflows. For PvE this is the same thing lots of Germans do in holidays: Put their towel on a lounger before breakfast, go walking on the beach and come back after lunch to lay down. During those hours other people might be happy to really use that lounger, however.
We always threw those towels in the swimming pool and upon return of those tourists, we play the innocent kitty looks…"ow really? must have been the wind or smt..better not leave your towel unguarded again my friends " LOL

Actually you have a great point…it would mean that players would have to pay more attention to their underwater gear. But also, the option of crafting underwatergear would have to be more available (instead of only weapons players should be able to make their own breathing masks and maybe even some added stuff ! )

I tried this view during the beta of Edge of the Mists..though it is actually the most realistic way of playing, I prefer having an overview of my surroundings

I just do not understand the difficulty…lemme explain without judging your point of view..I hate critisizing on the sideline and not give a possible solution
First of all..the game is called GUILD wars..meaning guilds and being member of one is kinda core-business to the game and people who are playing this. As for the example:
I started this game about 5 months ago. I was invited by a friend to play and also joined her guild. it was a nice and friendly guild with people who were willing to guide me as a freshman/noob in the wonderful world of GW2. Some PvE advice, an occasional JP and Dungeon and some Temples were explained. Then I got really interested in crafting and (you guessed it) stumbled acros the fact that the higher tier materials were not at all that easy available (like empyreal fragments, dragonite ores etc)…I was literally scraping bits and pieces of these materials and it took forever, since my guild wasn’t that active on regular temple and boss runs. Do not get me wrong, it was fun being with in this guild, had some good laughs and it was very educational!. Then I was invited by one of my current guildmembers to another guild. I talked to the guild leader (since I do not like some people taking this game waaaay too seriously ) and eventually joined. And boy..was I happy! I ran with my new guild members a LOT of dungeons, bosses and temples and within 2-3 ! weeks, I had enough high tier materials to make a full ascended armor in no time!
My point is…GW2 allows people to set a multiple set of goals..either achievements, dungeons, craftmanship, exploring, WvW, PvP, etc…choose your own destiny, do whatever you like or fancy..but you cannot do this alone! Just make sure you choose to be a member of a guild who actually supports your specific need and make lots of fun along the way.
If I recall correctly, you are able to choose up to 5 guilds to be a member of..you can only represent one though.
And if one of the other guild(leader(s)) are giving you a hard time being also a member of or representing a different guild..well, maybe this first mentioned specific guild is not what you are looking for. (thats what I call “taking it way too seriously” ). it is a game after all..If people want to make it a huge important piece of their live, they are more than welcome to do so..it just doesn’t work for me
Also, keep the “map chat” open. Players tend to call out for a boss or temple run to happen on regular basis.
