Well..I threw in a couple of Monsoons (Staff) and received The Legend after 4 tries…so the only change I saw was that I was obviously on Zomoros’ good side that day

guys there is a way to farm champ! let’s try to make new route. let’s do like Kill all champ at frostgorge. teleport to Cursed Shore kill all champ there and than come back to Frostogorge!
1 run in Frostgorge = 7 min 1 run in Cursed Shore = 8 min = 15 min total. Group event Spawn time is 15 min. So WE Can do that. we will spend a bit more for waypoints, but we will get more silver as a reward for complete group event!

No they do not…newcomers will be faced with the new trait system and have no recognition with the old one..(and therefore no demotivational issues..they just don’t know better )

As for me, I made some “logical” decisions about crafting:
Thief: Artificer and jeweller (cause you know..thiefs love shinies )
Guardian: Weaponsmith and Armorsmith (Closest disciplines about crafting and use)
Ranger: Huntsman and Leatherworking (Because rangers hunt and use natural fabrics)
Warrior: Cooking and tailoring (Warrior is kinda posh/tough guy..loves food and drinks and dresses nice LOL)
Of course, this makes only sense in my own little world, but for me it works..I never have to look which discipline I have on what char..I just switch to this specific char if I need something crafted (actually my ranger isn’t even geared…he’s just fulltime in The Grove at the crafting stations)

As for the upper reasons, speaking for myself:
Achievement: I couldn’t care less
Changeable stats: Great…since it most of the time players choose to have assassin or berserker..and does it really hit that much harder then ascended/exotic?
Looks: I have greenies with better looks then the legendaries..but thats a matter of tasteSo again..why is this so important?
human achievement is always relative to what others have acheived, also known as “bragging rights”
If everyone had a legendary, nobody would be making one. I reckon only 1% of the playerbase has a legendary, and that’s why people find it so important to have one, it’s the prestige, it’s the exclusivity.
I guess that 1% playerbase is in my guild…LOL

Yesterday, I did the Sapphire Sanctum JP (Abaddon Borderlands) in order to get my WvW achievement .
There were some enemies from Abaddon in there too. First time I was halfway, 2 of them knocked me all the way down so I had to start all friggin’ over!!
I decided to gamble; took of almost all of my gear (except pants ) and went for it again.
Those same two Abaddonista’s showed up again and this time…they recognized me and saw me wearing almost no gear/weapon and LET ME PASS to finish my JP and thus reaching my achievement.
Respect guys for noticing me not wanting to fight but finish the JP ! You are truly an honourable enemy understanding te principles of the war and game
