lol there are times where i have no idea where my cursor/mouse pointer was that i accidentally request to kick one of my party members during combat.
Thats how bad the UI is. Never did this happen in any mmorpg i’ve played and still playing.

And another Legendary UI Flaw is the F Button (default Interaction & loot button)
F Button = Loot + Talk + Rez (All in 1 Button)
For example,
If i wanna loot, i’ll be talking to an npc or resurrecting an npc/player.
Futhermore while rezzing there is a delay after cancelling it with Esc or Movement.
By then mobs had wiped out a chunk of my hp or got CC’ed to death.
All thanks to the Genius All-In-One F Button

Edit: Change it to U or C or K Button? Nah wont work cause the function will be the same. And o yeah Tab Targetting not targetting in clock cycle. Target Closest/Nearby is the most powerful one cause at times it could even target mobs Behind my toon even if there’s an army of mobs on my LoS nearby lol!

Yes not Quiver. But if you still need it (of course we all do for the stats) you got to grind 250 T6 Materials & 50 Ectoplasm by killing mobs or by selling loots to buy it.
Plus 24 Skills points to buy 240 Philosopher’s Stone and you gotta FORCE yourself to run Fractals for Vial of Condensed Mists which is a rare RNG drop.
Then throw it all in the Mystic Forge and your Quiver will appear.

OR you could just forget about all the hassle and just live with a lower stat toon.
A Ranger without a Quiver lol just like my alt toon.

Firstly,
to Max Stats we gotta run this typical Dungoen called FoTM.
Im not a fan of running Dungeons to max out my stats.
In AMA Chris said they gonna look into this so that Ascended Gear could be gained gamewide.
But the problem is, by the time Ascended Gear is introduced gamewide, most dungeons runners has already obtained currently BiS items.
Unless they made it easier to obtain later on to make it fair but highly doubt so unless they proved me wrong.

Secondly,
DR. Due to high volume of bots before they buffed DR to an extend that even with 100%+ MF Gear, we are getting junk 90% of the time.
But the thing bots are almost gone now after the patch and why is DR still not removed?
Which made me realised that Bots are not the reason for DR tbh. Its us! The player isnt it. More farming = More gold = No gems. Common sense.

Sometimes things have to be voiced out. So that Developers know their mistakes and bad decisions. Hey thats what forums are for isnt it.

As for Second Chance, well yes for me but it all depend on January & February patch.
Messed it up again then i rather save my cash for The Expansion for another Mmorpg no kidding.

But with other mmos im playing, if im caught alone in the open world, i could be attacked, ganked or camped by other players on a Pvp Server. Most probably players do not wanna be alone in the open on a Pvp Server.
Going out in the open with a group, a guild or raid is extremely entertaining if there are reasons to it.
Commonly the reasons are lil lil things like a guildmates or guildleader was ganked while farming/questing or badmouthing other guilds will turn out into a mass guild vs guild battles out of a sudden in the open. lol yea!

Sadly this is GW2. None of that would ever happen. We are safe here without any Pvp Servers

Edit: WvW isnt the same as its an Instance. We can choose not to do it or just simply hop out. But on a Pvp Server we have no choice but to be prepared for Pvp anytime out in the open.

Water Eles or Snaring Rangers could easily counter them to death!
Fyi every class or evey builds in GW1 can be countered.

Selwynn, sad to say, a game where most had expected to be a Pvp Focus game had obviously turn out to be a PvE Focus game.
Why? Cause they prioritised PvE first than PvP.
Updates/Patches do not lie
For all we know by February when they start taking a peep at WvW, those Dungeon Runners who had been grinding Fractals for stats, had already got their gears.
And we who bought the game mainly for WvW just start grinding for ascended like gears in WvW.

As for me i dont give a kitten already with Pvp in this game. Im playing my 2 other grindfest mmos for years already with great rewards without DR farming.
I’m rich over there. But sometimes we need a diversion from games that we love just to love them even more. For me the diversion here is…. GW2 NOW

Dungeon runners a.k.a PvErs will never be satisfied even if Anet gonna add a hundred more dungeons. Like after those dungeons what else to do right? No endgame! lol!

Anet, please open your eyes and see the crowd youre targetting here.
You prefer these kinda crowd or The Crowd that played GW1 for 5-7 years?
What keep them coming back to GW1 in all those years even WITHOUT endgame?
Answer: GW1 PvP – HA, GvG, AB & Arenas (with PvE Armors/Weapons they farmed for weeks, months).
Hell some even posted they will hop back to GW1 if you guys release a new expansion for it now. For new skins to farm not stats. See what i mean?

I dont know bout you guys but this mmo called RIFT is the closest to GW1 in terms of Skill Combinations. But over there they called it Souls Combination.
But its specific to a class. For example a War cant use Mage skills for his build.
Unlike GW1 its all around skills combination.

But be warned! RIFT is a grindfest… but they are easing up on the grind with the recent Storm Legion Expansion. Meaning new players could level up faster than before and get new items or equipment that is way powerful than those who had maxed it out before the Expansion.

WoW, Souls of The Ultimate Nation (S.U.N), Aion, AIKA, Loong: Power of Dragons, RIFT and ofc GW1.

Among all i love Loong the best. Why? Due to the Hardcore Pvp kinda gameplay.
No PvE server. Nope. Zero. Only PvP Servers. You could even be attacked in towns! Imagine that. No mercy kinda gameplay. Totally insane!
O i met Dj Tesla and her BF there too. She played for a while i guess
But its too expensive due to Gamigo being too greedy with the Cash Shop. I quit!

I’m a more Pvp focus kinda player. Ofc i do PvE but i get bored of it real fast.
To me GW2 is more to PvE kinda game. And with the latest patch they had proved me right.
Combat in GW2 even without GDC is still too slow for me.
I’m into faster combat gameplay that made my adrenalin pump up sky high in secs!
Even RIFT Pvp does that to me and im still playing it. Cause the combat is really fast!

I still love GW2 due to the Good ol’days of GW1.
Even if its nothing like GW1 no more.

1 – Get Naked
2 – Port to WvWvW
3 – Charge-in the zerg in numbers of Nakedness.
4 – Died horribly against Ascended Gear opponents.
5 – Repair? Nah…
6 – Do it again and again. Yes!
7 – People irritated you? Good. Jump on their server. Or Stay in their server.
8 – Rinse and Repeat.

Well if you cant beat the system.
Just have fun as its not Compatitive Gameplay no more isnt it.

I took your Lightbringer title for example.
As we all know in GW1, PvE titles had nothing to do with PvP.
Therefore Lightbringer skills could not be use for any PvP activities. Only PvE.
But its fine to rank up PvP ranks in HA to party up for example.
Why? Cause it is earned by solely by Pvping in HA.

Now back to GW2.
Ascended Gear in WvWvW.
Isn’t Dungeons PvE? And why it is possible to use Ascended Gear in WvWvW?

And GW2 is for the graphics and playing dress up for my main or farm for my alt and also levelling my alt when i got the time. No subs no worries i could log in anytime i wanna.

Orr is nothing compared to some mmos with mobs in every corners, below the hills, behind the trees and some mobs patrol the entire zone with a huge aggro circle.
And that plus players from the opposite faction in the zone.

GW2 is already known as a Carebear Mmo with No Pvp Servers. No PK, No Ganking, No Spawn Camp, Auto Target Facing (Press 1 and your characters immediately turn to your target, yet other mmos we gotta do mouse turns to face the target to attack) etc etc. You are free to quest, level, farm whatever in the world.

But i have to admit that i do get bored with Orr.
Not because there are tons of mobs (which is never a problem for me, hell the more the merrier! more junk loots for the vendor!),but yes its mainly due to the junk loots + DR.

I wonder why WoW melees dont have casting time for attacks. Does that mean WoW melees have no skills? lol try Duelling any WoW melees and you’ll see if melees there aint skillful (Vid pls).

Cause most just cant be bothered cause they know its BS to have casting time for melee skills. They just roll another class or go back to their previous mmos to play melee class.
And for me i’m trying to love running melees in GW2 due its action base combat.
But sadly its too slow for me. Maybe it is made for peeps with slower reaction to combat. Or for those who are not used to instant attack melee kinda combat.

Fyi GW2 1st Skill is already on macro.
And macros Do Not speed up attack animations nor actions.
Its just to ease up on the rotations or minimise key press due to the huge amount of skills in other mmos.

The OP is about the action delays on key pressed due to cast time for melee attacks.

If not then you should send a ticket to Anet. Something is wrong there.
You should be able to transmutate any similar armor piece (Eg. Heavy → Heavy, Light → Light etc etc)
