Can we have Tix visit all the main cities again like the first year?
I wonder who else has maps of Queensdale laying around.
You got it mistaken, they were merely helping out the Vigil fight off the minions of Kralkatorrik.
This is so awesome! Thank you for this! This is better than that year everyone was stick figures!
I was going to come in here to say that when I saw the title!
I have been pulling mobs to the afkers during the LA events, it is great fun.
Lions Arch Destruction - Knock it off

We will find out soon enough won’t we?
For heavy armor, the banded set works best, I have no clue on the other sets though, sorry. I would really like to see more guild weapons we could buy, or even better, have them reworked. I love how the Guild Defender looks when compared to the actual guild shield skin.

They brought it back before, so I am sure it will make a return again.
That portal and the broken bridge have always been there.
I would like to see small stand alone stories. They don’t have to all tie in to one big overall story.
Give us stories that bring us back to lesser explored areas.
You know you can buy the skins off players in the tp, it just costs your soul.
This is how I see it.
The Human-Centaur war I considered over, from doing the events concerning them. If you started out as a human, we took care of that before moving on to joining an order and then the Pact and then off to fight Zhaitan.
We killed a majority, if not all, of the Centaur leadership, so there you go. They will still be in the areas they need to be for the players who are going through them for the first time. By the OP logic, we shouldn’t see anymore risen around either.
Flame Legion just lost their leader, and we went back to COF in explore mode and beat them down again. They are scrambling and not organized. Someone as crazy as Scarlet could swoop in there and talk them into forming an alliance with a group that shares similar interests.
I no longer see this event anymore in Queensdale, does it still exist?
In Guild Wars, you can buy mercenary slots, which were like heroes, but you got to take your alts with you instead of the heroes.
We’d need to have heroes/henchmen before all of that though.
Anyone else every notice that the ground says NORMAL on it in certain spots? Is that supposed to be there?
I am at 25, and would love to get to 30.
I am going to make a list of the extra minis I have, would love to trade for some I do not have.
Awesome thread!
After three evenings search for one of those items, talking to NPCs in the area who know nothing, asking in mapchat (no answer) I got to disagree. Maybe I’m kinda blind or unlucky or whatsoever, no idea. I found two others so far but I think I’m gonna stop simply because the two sentences storybit you get for finding it isn’t worth that. (Pls note that i’m not asking for a tangible reward but for some kind of a story.)
I did not have that experience at all with searching for the items. It helps going with some friends so you can scatter across the refugee path checking on and off the path with the ctrl key pressed, especially if map or say is not helping you at all.
I am not trying to argue with anyone on their experiences, I am just saying that I have not had any issues following the story as it is, or finding the items.
I will say I only knew about the second set of lost items due to someone shouting in map chat that they found two new items, so I went to Lions Arch, and talked to the refugees, then went to each zone with a group to search for them, and we found them pretty quick.
Serophous has the right idea. If I need help, or just looking for people to run around with if my guild mates are busy, I use /say and /map and have no problem finding people to group with. Granted, a lot of players I’ve encountered aren’t very sociable, and map chat tends to have the two or three trolls, I still haven’t had any problems grouping with people.
If I see someone running around with the LFG symbol on, I always invite them and ask what assistance they need.
The story, as it unfolds, has been explained in game.
I have had no issues following any of it. The first day , we got a mail telling us that heralds are set up in certain towns, talking to them tells you about the refugees, and to go to Hoelbrak and Black Citadel to assist.
You go there, talk to the heralds and refugee coordinators, the Norn just tell you people are coming from the north because their homes are being destroyed, the Charr tells you their people were pushed out by the Flame Legion.
Then you go out, and assist refugees by fixing signs, lighting fires in camps, helping injured refugees, checking dead refugees and giving their items to the person at the little camps off the roads. There’s also little events along the paths as you go.
Then we get another mail, go talk to the heralds and coordinators, and find out that the refugees are setting up camp in Lions Arch, you go there, you talk to two of them who lost stuff along the way, you go back to each area (Norn and Charr) and try to recover the lost items. Also, we find out that Flame Legion and Dredge have united, and all along the refugee path they are porting in, or using their car thing to pop out and attack.
A week or two ago, two more refugees in Lions Arch tell you that they lost items on their way, and again like before, you go out to each zone and locate them.
I am not understanding why it is vague or how people are getting lost with the story as it is. Locating the items is not that difficult, and there is always people in map chat who will let you know where to go if you ask. The first two items I found was thanks to two people with their commander tags on near the locations to help others out.
Is there more than on Abbadon? The underwater temple is called Temple of the Forgotten God for a reason.
Had fun playing Supply Camp-tag with NSP in EB tonight!
He saw two when he typed that. I was more concerned about the guy at Anz who was there with five other guys trying to open the gate with their weapons. I laughed when I was running around there and saw that dude asking if there was a faster way to do that.
Next time have a way point closer to the final battle of anything that is upcoming.
I didn’t even disconnect. I got taken out while trying to rez someone, and got to see the big group doing the event rez everyone around me, leaving me behind while they took out the Ancient Karka down below. After the cut scene, someone was nice enough to run up to rez me, but since I didn’t participate in the last few minutes of the battle, or a timing issue, the chest vanished as I walked up.
I am mad, but mostly at myself for getting mad over a video game.
I had stuff I was going to do this weekend, but put them aside to enjoy the event, which I did. The battle was epic and I had a great time for the 2 1/2 hours fighting alongside so many other players.
Like I said, the last 2-5 minutes of fighting at the bottom I missed out on, and that was a bummer. I would not have been able to even make it if I went to a way point, as the way point was on the other side of the island.
I am lucky I was there to see it through to the end, from reading about all the dc’ed players, but still felt left out, especially since I was there from the start.
Reading that so many got awesome loot from the chest just makes watching it vanish as I walked up to it that more frustrating.
I did have fun with the event, just pissed about the end.
My view of the game is changed, and I played Guild Wars for 6 years!
Me too, I know it’s just a game, but still. I guess I should be happy to have been able to be in the epic battle. It was fun for what it was worth. No reward at all just frustrates me.
I got to walk up to the chest only to have it disappear!
