Would Marauder stats be good as well, if you are not a fan of the low health?
I need to go check this! He was my favorite part of that map. Everytime we upgraded the hall, there would be more gold or less gold, then one day, he was gone.
Loved the story, still trying to get the hang of the map. The only thing I will complain about is those kitten hiccups.
I hated that so much at the end of season one. It was all dramatic and awesome, and then it all gets ruined by 50 million hiccups…
At least they toned them down a bit. I know it’s a petty thing, I’m sorry, it’s just annoying to hear.
You mean they aren’t part of the personal story? Every time I had gotten a mail saying to go to a dungeon in game at various times of the game, I went. It led up to the events of the last mission, and it also added to the overall story.
I didn’t know people ignored the letters and skipped them. I really like the dungeons, because the story mode you do as the story unfolds, and the exploration modes you go back to later are the aftermath of what happened in the story mode.
I miss the moaning lady from DR… lol
Next time, drink the Kool Aid, it works better. Did you buy it in game? I bought mine in game, and got all the extra stuff and a confirmation mail in game and in my email.
Yes, it takes off everything you put on.
That happens a lot. I use to see little ones land and then fly off from time to time. Watch yourself!
Was in a map where we beat him last night, it just takes longer, we got by with a minute left to go.
I am sure though, given more time, it won’t be an issue.
They should however, and this is just me being selfish, give us better rewards.
I got a spoon, and maybe 3 rare items, and a lot of junk.
That would be awesome, and make our armor even more unique. I don’t mind the guild armor as it is though.
What do you mean you are loosing everything?
It says in the patch notes, NOTE: All upgrades are lost as part of this conversion.
So what you needed to have done before stat changing, was convert some gold to gems, or buy some gems, and get yourself an Upgrade Extractor.
I changed the stats on my greatsword, and was able to save all my upgrades thanks to extracting.
The shoulders that the heavy armor wearing Consortium members wear aren’t found anywhere in game as well.
If it makes you feel better, my only character is currently in Frostgorge, so I am unable to log in at this time.
Top tier? What are you going to do with all the shards once you are done building the backpiece?
I bought the first three unlimited tools when they first hit. My only complaint is the fact that there are cooler looking tools out now, but I am not going to spend more gold/money/gems, just because I like how they look.
It’s really not that big of a deal, unless you are in need of shards for the back piece, and in that case, go to the secret hideout/jump puzzle, and keep killing sky pirates.
My SAB Boombox no longer works outside of cities.
I am not seeing where they have broken the lore? Instead of complaining about it, please point it out for those of us who are not seeing the bigger picture.
I have stayed away from condition stats, but was a fan of the first game and the White Mantle, so figured I would make it for the hell of it.
As a human of Ascalonian descent, I have a bias against Charr because of what they did to Ascalon. As a modern thinking Tyrian, who has read up on all the history, I blame that crazy kitten King Adelburn for what happened to Ascalon. I am not claiming that the Charr were the native people of that land, but it is sad to learn that we had taken their lands from them originally. Humans all through history basically took stuff that really wasn’t theirs, and this is one of the reasons Queensdale and the areas surrounding have so many issues with the Centaurs, though I believe the Centaurs would be the way they are no matter what.
I stated when Nightfall hit, so I missed out on that fancy log in screen. When/if we ever get to Cantha, I would like the Winds of Change outfits please. lol. Ministry of Purity and Dragon Guard armor were my favorite outfits in the first game.
I got happy with the release of new stats, so I started working on a full set of Sinister armor to mix and match with my Bezerker, Soldier, and Sentinel stats.
I heard a few people complain about any armor with condition damage due to us not really having anything other than burning (that’s not really a bad thing).
What do you guys think of the Sinister stats?
I would like to see the pvp heavy guild armor come back too!
I use a sword and shield on my guardian, because it’s fun, and I like running around with a sword and shield.
I’ve sold random stuff I shouldn’t have to merchants, it happens, just pay more attention to what you are selling off before you do. Make it a point to check the buyback option to make sure you did not sell anything you shouldn’t have before ending the transaction with the merchant.
The race is not for the swift, but for those who can endure. The game is about the journey, and not the destination. You should have taken your time to enjoy the scenery, events, and story as you leveled up, and not just rushed through things. You should have made friends while traveling through the game, and did events with them, or friends that joined with you.
There is a lot of stuff in game, whether it’s leveling up, doing storylines, events, or just hanging out with friends.
I’ve been here since the start, and have yet to be bored on the same character I’ve played since before the start. I think it’s funny to see people on here talking about how boring and easy the game is, or how there is nothing to do once you hit 80. I’m always finding things to do, and have yet to be bored.
When I leveled up, it was hard to find exotics as I hit 80, so I crafed my own. But then again, I didn’t take the shortcut and use wvw badges or buy gold to get them.
The Forgotten was not one person, it was a whole race of snake people.
Ministry Guard, though they seem to have lucked out and got the pvp pants that we can no longer get.
I have a warrior named Goren Dejarin, but I’ve not gotten any messages. I probably will now though!
There was a reason Scarlet picked that spot to run her tests!
You know it is a Halloween costume, and not a real representation of anything at all?
If I find a buddy that maxed out weapon/armor skins, then they can only craft at fixed levels like level 35, 60, 80. They will not be able to craft level 44 armor.
That’s because the armor goes up every 5 levels.
I forgot about the jumping, and being knocked off to a different level now. hahahahaa, that was insane.
It would be nice to have seen it return for players who weren’t around for the first Halloween, and now that we know about his son, perhaps adding another addition to the Mad Memories books for next year?!
Exotic is just fine, ascended is a little higher on the stats, and provides us something to work towards crafting wise.
I’ve gotten by fine without it for the past two years, but they are a long term thing to work for, if you are up for it.
Fo Realz Tho, Dawg.
Labyrinth was fun enough, didn’t see a need for a dungeon. Did we have a dungeon the first Halloween? I thought it was just an instance where we faced the Mad King himself.
Most of the TP armor and weapon skins can be crafted, find a buddy who has maxed out both, and have him hook you up!
If we are talking about the first game, I never got an Icy Dragon Sword, and I tried and tried, and tried again.
If we are talking about the current game, I don’t really stress about rng too much, I got the weapon skins and armor I fell in love with (Vigil), and other than that, there really isn’t much else I want, with the exception of Foefire’s Essence, but I’m not actively trying to get that one.
This is like the time it was my turn to make dinner, and I burnt the water!
If you did not do anything wrong, don’t stress about it.
It was the first time in over 200 years that he was able to show himself, of course he was going to do it in style, and blow up the Lion statue!
Until they have time, or get around to adding more to the story, we will see the events between him and his son for Halloween, which isn’t a bad thing.
It’s an event, we got new stuff this year, and we got the fun Labyrinth again, along with the cool hide and seek game.
I see it as two weeks to run in the Laybrinth, met new people, or hang out with people you already know, and partake in the fun.
Met a lot of cool people in the Labyrinth this year, it was a fun two weeks of Halloween madness!
Where is all this havoc people keep talking about? Does it happen while I’m not playing?
I love hanging out in Queensdale, because it reminds me of my pre searing days in Ascalon…
I want to see an Order Collection as well, I’ve unlocked all the Vigil armor and weapons! lol
But the living story is re-playable.
