“wait, engi’s can stealth?”
“who dropped that wall of reflection (while the guard is offline)?”
haha, yeah, was grouping with a couple buddies doing a fractal, got a pug guardian, we were doing something and my guard buddy goes “ohh nice, this other guard might not be so bad, he dropped a WoR” “umm, no, no he didn’t
”
I guess nobody likes rage runes. I’ll think about using scholar runes in the future. But for now, ranger runes it is. Thanks for your input.
Your fury options are only for yourself and would require dropping kits to take (Elixer B and Utility Goggles) 30% extra would make them both 13s vs 10s. Getting hit for fury would likely be the biggest benefit.
I just see them as having the same limitations as Strength Runes but without much of the benefit. You’re losing a lot of base stats for the enhancement of a boon, but in this situation unlike might it’s only for yourself and would require a loss of DPS to even use.
And in comes SC to take the sub 3 min run
Grats
Interesting thread. You might want to work on being a bit more open to discussion yourself and you might find people more willing to join in. Walls of text that sum up to “Yeah well I think i’m right” don’t really make for a good discussion.
I think this quote from last night sums up why you don’t see many Engi’s.
“wait, engi’s can stealth?”
Most people I run into have no clue what Engi can do, or how they do it.
It’s a great profession, a little wonky in how it works, gotta train the fingers, but it’s amazing. Top notch DPS if played right, sustained vuln stacks better than anyone else, and utility to toss in at a minor loss in damage if needed. Can stack some might in the meta build as well, and yes… we have stealth
And, while it’s generally best to stay in melee both for damage and group synergy, I love the freedom to step back and continue damaging in case you start to get low or what not. No need for big setup swaps just back out and keep throwing the nades, back in and FT/EG/Rifle rotation and back out again if needed.
Ehh, I don’t think it’s that cut and dry, no point to strength if you’re not stacking much might, you get a higher % damage and more overall stats from ranger. And Ranger is meta for Mesmer as I understand it because of so much potential in crits on reflects.
Overall I’d still say scholar, but ranger wouldn’t be all bad, just might have to use sharpening stones instead of Maintenance oils in non potion situations. And no point to using accuracy sigil for instance. According to the build editor with your 55400 build and all assassin gear except trinket stuff being zerk you’ll be at 67% crit chance, 72% with best precision food (not recommending you use that just saying) leaving you at 70% with say candied dragon rolls.
So ranger should work fine I’d think.
I would probably look into swapping out the blood sigil, I would say accuracy but not in this case as you’re already loaded with crit chance (72 = capped with banner + Fury, no reason to go higher base IMO). I might look at Battle, if you’re in PUGs and rarely finishing out the full stacks of might that’s an extra 6 might for you as likely you’ll be kit swapping enough to use it on cooldown more or less. Night would be an ideal pickup too for night dungeons though I imagine you want to make 1 ascended rifle? Personally I did ascended general use rifle, since we now know scaling kills the whole ascended bonus and most night dungeons are lower level. COE would be the only thing you’d be missing out on that I can think of.
My favorite idea is what they done to Deadeye Dunwell, one of his attack was extremely powerful when reflected at first, so they reduced the damage of it when reflected. I think every very powerful range attack should be reduced when reflected they done it already so it is doable.
This would require a dev to go over every bosses and ask himself, “is this too powerful when reflected?” which shouldn’t take too much time.
How about reflects not scaling with enemy power instead use the players power value? Oo
With 25 might and everything, the damage from an attack like lupicus would still make insane amount of damage.
I’m sure they could fudge some numbers to make it a low enough coefficient yes?
Maybe even make reflects do half damage – you have to admit, reflects are a bit overpowered, and should be more for defense than offense.
To be fair, it’s not that reflect skills are overpowered, it’s what they’re reflecting is overpowered. Lupi is throwing out enough damage in one AoE barrage to KO himself, so perhaps what needs to be nerfed is his damage output, which could probably be cut in half and still one-shot most players.
The reflects are like 9-20k each iirc it’s just that there are a few dozen of them.
The proper solution here is to make GL’s projectiles non-reflectable. That’ll stop this and make the fight more interesting in general.
Shouldn’t the proper solution be to make his projectiles actually originate from its hands?
Hmm, yeah can they originate from higher up to fix it?
They are scared of the widespread griefing mentioned.
http://gfycat.com/FilthyEagerDotterel
Fairly certain you can sacrifice your camera and prevent pushing?
That is the single most trollish Lupi video I’ve seen, I mean I’ve seen some stuff with him, but my god… what a jerk.
Spoj, he’s trying to twist words to fit his agenda
His response will be something along the lines of “well you’ll still have incentive because then you can work as a team and pick eachother up”, which we both know is simply bullcrap.
There is a reason for the systems that are in place, they don’t need to be changes, the people who feel they need to be changed need to sit down, learn the systems, learn why they are good, learn how to use them, and enjoy the game for what it is, which is honestly a pretty beautiful game. I mean the only complaint I have about the entire game is that they aren’t giving me enough content that challenges me… systems wise, it’s pretty darn near perfect.
EDIT:
SEE!
If you seriously insist on using a tanky pet then just use the River Drake. Lightning Breath is incredibly strong and the Tail Swipe will help your Ele friends with blasting might. Just be sure to have Jaguar or Jungle Stalker as your alternative pet so you can give good DPS during burn phases/ when people stack.
Make sure to cancel your pets skills with F3> F1 if your Drake is using the Blast Finisher when there isn’t a Fire Field though. I can’t emphasize enough how infrequently people ignore their pets in combat.
Drakes are also only ones to cleave IIRC, so you do drake for groups, Cat for single, at least that’s how I do it
but i’m a scrub ranger.
Using exploits is obviously unintended. But if something is unintended, it doesn’t mean it’s (or was) an exploit. You draw the wrong conclusion there.
I’ve never said it’s an exploit, and many people here don’t consider it as an exploit. But it is almost for sure that it’s unintended (like the examples I listed, they both involve reflecting), and what’s more it takes all the fun out of one of the few fun bosses in the game.
Ugh. Let me paraphrase it then. It was not a bugfix, but just a nerf.
And what’s stopping anet from “nerfing” Lupi?
Coding more or less from what I understand.
If they make it not reflectable it’ll be not blockable and that would really ruin a lot of what I think are intended strategies (dodge + Blocks) for that portion of the encounter.
And also, I don’t really understand how sitting at range has disadvantages for the ranger as it is right now? Sure they don’t get boons, but they stay safe. After the encounter is completed, they will still get rewards similar to those who were melee. If anything, their lack of boons is a detriment to the team and not the individual.
What is detrimental to the team IS detrimental to the individual if you’re looking at completion time and working as a team.
A lot of people don’t understand the finer points of speed running, they see things but don’t fully understand them. I’m no different, I’ve been carried hard by people and afterwards I just have to ask “umm, why was that so much easier than last time I tried it?” and usually I get a cool answer like “ohh well you must not have had a good aegis rotation last time” or “did you strip defiance and land a second deep freeze?” and all that stuff.
Why is it an exploit when you place a reflect skill at the source of the attack instead of where it’s supposed to hit? What is unintended about reflect damage scaling with enemy power?
You’re not really putting it at the source though, you are putting it at a specific point in the terrain to create a result the developers clearly didn’t intend. For that reason alone its an exploit, just not an official one.
It also isn’t about the damage scaling with his power, its about how this special place allows the damage to bypass his phase mechanics where he should go invulnerable.
What may happen is WoR will get the same treatment as feedback and only reflect X projectiles.
Wasn’t that exact same argument used for the FGS issue.
“you’re clearly using the terrain in unintended ways making it an exploit”
And as far as phase skipping, didn’t we see that again with the FGS 7s kill someone did by timing it with his animations to prevent him from changing mid rush or something like that? Or isn’t it similar to doing a large attack right before 50% on Brie?
Again, I hate the trick, but I don’t see any solid arguments why it is an exploit but some of the other things int he past aren’t or lets talk current and that new way of centralizing damage on those IB4s and what not?
Assassins is the way to go I believe, lots of stuff on crit, plus apparently the numbers for Engi’s work out better even without that… but that’s talking meta build math so can’t say for sure if it’s the same for you.
Personally I’d go scholar, we have one of the best heals in the game once you learn to use it (took me a while lol, I feel embarrassed I asked on here what to use instead of the turret
) So you can maintain that pretty well.
Strength may be worht if it you’re really focusing on might stacking for your group but outside of that I can’t see it really winning out, 5% and ferocity vs just better might uptime, even best bet we’re talking like what 6-12 stacks of might from an engi?
I’ve been having fun with Lupi on my engi, actually just got my first lupi solo a week or so ago, I was full health through almost the whole thing, when I wasn’t, healing turret, detonate, shield4 blast, oop, full health again
I guess you could go ranger and really up that crit chance, there is plenty of room on engi, but personally I went with my full assassins getup with weapons, and an accuracy sigil in my dps rifle, which puts me right up to the cap with food, banner, and Fury. So I’d imagine if you went with rangers you’d not need to go with accuracy sigil and could go something more specialized.
Ovearll I don’t see why you wouldn’t go scholar though, i mean that big burst potential we have right at the begining of a fight before we can even get hit is enough to convince me it’s worth having scholar to maximize that in many situations.
OHH DANG, can 3 mins be broken? who will get it first?!
That golem kill… that was a thing of beauty btw.
Why is it an exploit when you place a reflect skill at the source of the attack instead of where it’s supposed to hit? What is unintended about reflect damage scaling with enemy power?
^^It’s no more an exploit that FGS was. That said, I didn’t really like FGS and I don’t like this, wonderful thing is I can choose not to do it.
That said, I was looking to get some lupi practice in on my thief, just a minute ago I saw a p3 group going, mesmer, guard, guard… nope not even gonna try.
only thing to add that hasn’t already been said is don’t forget Elixer S when stealthing, that extra 3s from the toolbelt is invaluable at times. Example being Arahp2, the run to Brie, blast stealths as you go around that corner, with swiftness everyone should be just to the choke point with the 2-3 deadeys and 2 technicians ready to blast you, toss your Elixer S for 3s enough to safely get through there then it’s either restealth behind that wall or just Yolo the rest of the way.
Other than that, yeah Grenade/EG/FT 3 kit setup, swap in Elixers as the utility is needed/wanted and sometimes bomb kit makes sense, especially on trash for the blind field or bosses that will reflect your grenades.
Been loving mine, can’t get enough of him, even went so far as to make a second engi because I didn’t like my charr and wanted Asura.
I thought elixir s tb was 5 seconds?
So it is… even better
, for some reason I had 3s stuck in my head, think I was mixing that up with the harpy feathers.

It bothers me too.
If you’re on a Warrior, you should definitely invest in a mace with a superior sigil of paralyzation (main hand mace on lupi… so good!). If you’re on an Ele, apparently a well-placed/timed swirling winds can also prevent the 1-shot. I am unaware of any other classes that can prevent the 1-shot. Should you succeed, expect all of your pugs to promptly die, or start ranging and thus get him off the wall for you.
Engi and hope for the other side of the RNGesus
I’d feel like a hypocrite completely agreeing with you, but yeah it’s lame. I know I’ve done it in the past for multiple reasons, mainly though if we’re struggling a fair bit and I just feel like making the new players I’m with freak out and ask “ok… wtf just happened?”. Though, now I can solo him, so… doubt I’ll be doing it again, instead I’ll just solo it while they watch
I wouldn’t call Glint’s lair a zerg fest. That was a pretty sweet dungeon we got last week.
It could have been a dungeon if it were scaled for 5 people to take on and involved a bit more actual combat.
it was a fun little gimmicky solo area though.
I use to play more than read, reserving most of my reading/posting for when I had time at work. Now I’d say I read/post more than I play, though overall it’s dwindling, reached my goals in game, not seeing much light at the end of the tunnel as far as new stuff to come in and challenge me in a way I find fun, so… /shrug
I just hope they send out E-mails when SAB comes around in case I’m not paying much attention to the game when it does.
Nice one
#He’s refering to tome of wrath. Wich is stupid, because no one uses that.
Me and my buddies did when we did our guild speed run competition… though we were noobs and only got just under 4 mins
No eles though and back before FGS nerf, won the guild competition though.
Grats though guys.
- CJ must be ruing his announcement (last year?) in a vid on youtube, about precursor crafting before the end of 2013. Disregard the fact that it was announced to people looking forward to this particular feature that it wouldn’t make it in the feature patch that it was supposed to be released with — in the interview it shouldn’t have been discussed at all.
Ah, but see what you did there? I think, basically, you said something should not have been discussed until its implementation was absolutely confirmed. And isn’t that what the current policy states? We do not engage in a lot of predictive chatter about things that may not come; we reveal something — a feature, a fix, something new — when it’s assured. Not “this may happen” but “this will happen.”
We discussed this earlier in the thread.
Apparently there was a post about the delay on this idea, but where was it posted? In some thread in the crafting portion of the forums….
Wouldn’t you think something that is an update to previous disclosed intentions should be made more visible? Don’t you think less people would be complaining if they knew that there were complications and a reason that it hadn’t happened yet?
Might I suggest updating THIS area of the forums?
I mean that area of the forums seems to be what this entire thread is about.
If we got updates every now and then about things in the works, and then updates if those things were delayed or simply didn’t pan out. Well… this thread and this feeling of hopeless futility wouldn’t exist.
Either way, GL with your efforts, and thank you for them, I wish something would actually happen but I’m not holding my breath, I really mean those two words “hopeless futility” as I think they sum up the current situation pretty well for many of us.
In PVE mace is quality.
A little bit of healing on top of respectable damage that is actually more bursty than sword with being able to precast that mace2 symbol then go into the GS rotation. I find it really solid in COF for example, it’s not enough to negate damage but it’s something and noticeable.
Personally my rule of thumb is Sword if it’s just single target damage I need that sword actually lands on, or of I want blinds or a little projectile defense. Mace if there is any damage i’m likely to take or if it’s something I can burst down in a couple seconds , unless there are Ele’s mighting me up that I don’t want to block. And of course scepter on large targets.
Did you play DCUO?
I did, and the system was a pretty big headache. Used properly and it was a great aid for the reasons you said, when I played with friends it was a fun meta game to compete for top scores, plus the comparative uses. . But with pug groups or when Egos got bruised, it often lead to people doing dumb things to pad scores, not picking up other people so they could beat them, and a lot of finger pointing and dumb blame games.
As you pointed out, the community here is already crap, so why should we throw more fuel on the fire?
Croc, gear is your base offense or defense stats. That’s it.
Why do people feel that gear should be the primary source of depth? Why is the trait system, weapon choices, sigils and runes constantly ignored?
I enjoyed Glint’s lair, not so much these last couple bosses.
kitten it Grimm, what am I going to do with all this popcorn now?
Mesmer offhand sword is part of PVE meta, highest damage phantasm
Ranger offhand axe is as well the 4 is added damage, nothing to complain about, whirling axes a nice bonus if extra reflect is needed.
Necro dagger is again PVE meta, though yeah, who PVE’s on necro
, the axe is part of the DS build, and I use that in WvW with much success, sure staff and DS are primary but the axe surely comes in handy as well.
Basically at least those weapons have a purpose, unlike say guard Shield which is pretty much used for griefing in EoTM and that’s about it.
@Vizardlorde, Ele scepter is amazing in PVE for the blasts, really amazing, but then it’s also part of the burst rotation some Ele’s use in PVP/WvW where they can down someone in the blink of an eye so… /shrug.
(edited by Jerus.4350)
And, that would make things more fun how?
Bringing in full Nomads guardian to do mai trin doesn’t sound fun, it sounds long and tedious.
One of the enjoyable things about the zerk meta is that while you can do it, a little mistake and boom dead. If you simply had to go tanky just to have enough dodges/blocks/etc then a mistake is also less risky and that whole mentality is lost.

“I don’t like how GW2 does it’s entire combat system, can we change it because I don’t want to play another game”
It is common sense in a…sense…but for a game touted for its active combat with hits on the go, moving outside of the reach of attacks and all that jazz that makes GW2 ‘unique’ and ‘special’, it’s a bummer and a shame that nearly every encounter, big or small, resorts the the exact same tactics with perhaps a slight change to which skills you use first. GW2 doesn’t have enough skills to do that and still not be boring after the 300th time you do that a day.
I finally got my Guard Lupi solo yesterday, let me give you a quick rundown of what you have to do on him. And, this goes for groups and solo.
To start he’s going to give this big huge wave at you, if you don’t dodge it he marks you for a grub spawn, when that grub spawns you get knocked down, and if the grub makes it to Lupi he gets powered up. So first, dodge his wave.
Next He’ll spit out a bunch of locusts, these locust have a very bad attack animation that lets you more or less run back and forth and avoid all damage from them, they have like a half second windup on their attacks. Easily avoided, and if for some reason you can’t blind em, then burn them down. There’s your moving just of of reach dancing around.
Third attack is melee only, he’ll do this really nasty kick with a pretty short animation, again, DODGE! otherwise you get knocked back quite a ways and like 11k+ damage, it’s almost certain death for lower health players if they get hit.
That’s phase 1! only the first 25% , on phase change he’ll mark whoever is closest for a grub, no wave, just someone is getting grubbed. You can deal with this many ways, make sure someone who can handle it is closest, back out beyond the NPC with you, or maybe drop a pet or something underneath him to eat it for you.
After this He’s going to do a really nasty projectile attack that sends things flying everywhere, so many projectiles they exceed the cap on how many red circles are able to be created. So it’s not even as easy as just staying out of those, no you have to be proactive. Either dodge back, wait a quarter second, then dodge back in, as they start in and go out but they do like to target players. Or you can do some combination of dodging and blocking. A good group might utilize reflects and all gather inside that reflect wall or bubble.
Next attack is a big swipe if you’re in melee range, again likely to kill you and it’s 2 parts the second applying bleeding, so even if you use an aegis you’re going to be hurting.
The next is a shadowstep if anyone is at range, this has a stun and damage at the end if the person fails to dodge it.
That’s phase 2, down to 50% now! He’ll do another massive projectile attack on the phase change.
Now comes a big area lifesiphon, dodge, block, whatever you need to do to get out of there and avoid damage, as if you take damage, he’s going to heal.
Now get back in there quick, because in this phase if you’re at range he’ll bubble you, ohh and that’s nasty, you need invuln or stability to get out (or a very well timed dodge+stunbreak). So you have to be quick and stay in melee otherwise… well… you’re going to die.
Next attack is a single target 4 attack channel, if you don’t dodge/block again, probably going to die.
Then comes the one I hate, Frenzied Blast, ohh god it’s terrible, big red circle, and 100 projectiles come flying at you lighting you up, and the best part is there is splash damage, so you can’t count on the red cirlce to be the end of the damage area. Get out of there! Or, toss up a reflection and everyone again, hide inside.
And to end, if you do manage to kill him he’s gonna fall down and knock you back just as one last “screw you”
How is that not active and fun?
If you find that boring… welp… I’ll just have to kindly disagree. And if you really want “dodging” without using dodge (moving to avoid things) look at the Abomination in Arah p2, 90% of that fight is simply doing a waltz with that guy.
Does stack in a corner and faceroll your keyboard work for a lot of content? sure, but that’s the easy content. There’s a reason I almost never do AC, it’s incredibly boring.
I edited because I realized it didn’t come across correctly, sorry
In the end I think PVP could be much better served by adding some more game modes than simply adding rewards.
Why encourage PVP over PVE?
To what end?
Personally I hate the GW2 PVP style, I’ve tried it, don’t like it. I’m no expert but I don’t do that poorly in the matches I play. Maybe some new game modes would make it more enjoyable but this bunker on a node thing is simply not fun to me.
And this is coming from a guy who has spent much of the last 15 years playing MMO PVP.
(edited by Jerus.4350)
I can see making the argument that “PVP needs to be more monotarily rewarding” sure, but trying to say it should be more? Why? you haven’t made any arguments for that.
As far as I’m concerned there is a fun factor involved too. I could make more gold than I do if I did boring farms and grinded the crap out of them, but I don’t. I much prefer doing things I simply find FUN, I mean it is a game. I still make probably 10g a day simply screwing around doing whatever I feel like at the time.
Remember though, much like the dungeon crowd, or the WvW crowd, PVP is in the minority. It seems that all ANet cares about is the open world PVE’ers, which I would assume is the largest group. It’d be nice if we got a little something for the other groups but … yeah…
FT you want to use napalm and flame blast, with maybe the blind/knockback as needed. The auto while a lot better than it was is still sub par.
EG is also used for utility, Acid Bomb is amazing damage if you cancel it and can handle that combo, the other skills can be useful as well.
Grenades (or bombs) will be your main kit still. Grenades being more vuln and therefor more damage than bombs, though if you really hate grenades I guess you could use bombs, just I’d recommend getting use to nades, they’re amazing.
I would love a solo option. Ive been trying to get Arah Story Mode done on my Engineer for months. But the game is full of Leet snobs that only want zerker warriors or what ever. Oh and lets not forget about the Path Selling Trend that keeps growing by the day.
What you’re seeing in Arah is only the explorable mode that want “zerker warriors”. Most of the time, if you post an lfg for “arah story, all welcome” or something of the sort, your party will fill very quickly. As for selling, you see those posts more often because they take time to fill. If you make your own group, they will be filled very quickly.
^^ Got my Engi’s story done saturday morning, simply posted “Storytime!!!” about 20 minute later we were rocking our way through, took a while but got it done. Usually there aren’t any expectations for story modes.
There’s a distinct difference between the meta, and what PuG’s do. I still see the occasional 4 Warr + 1 Mesmer posts. Also, there’s stacking to share buffs and boons, and stacking by a wall to take advantage of FGS. I suspect it’s the latter that was referred to.
I’m going to assume anytime someone says “Stack here” in a dungeon is referred to as stacking.
That’s not all stacking though. Stacking is all gathering together. What you describe basically sounds like a LoS spot, which is a bit different, you stack to LOS but you don’t necessarily LOS when you’re stacking.
We stack at lupi on projectile reflects, but we don’t LOS lupi. just an example.
SEp1 we can pull the 3 golems together and stack to kill them, or we can stack in the corner to LoS them and drop a reflect and kill them that way. In both situations we’re stacking but one of them is using LOS and we’re saying “stack here” before hand.
We do a lot less LoSing now without FGS meta, but there is still a lot of stacking as it’s simply common sense to all get inside a wall of reflection, or gather up for cleaving, etc.
All the solo stuff could be modified to make pretty awesome dungeons… or well most of it.
I will say with my potato computer that maze was freaking annoying, it was more or less pitch black everywhere, ugh.
I realize what your thread is about but I still feel the same way … why do players insist they need to know about what’s coming down the pipeline? How does knowing that impact any players’ interaction with the CURRENT game version on live?
Games are founded on the backbone of veterans and those that actually dedicate time, effort and resources (real currency). This being said, you need to be open and transparent about your intentions, as a publisher or a direct DEV, so as to build a fair amount of loyal fans in order for the game to live and produce revenue. This is also a reason why new content needs to be added and while Guild Wars 2 is on the path of it’s third anniversary, not many things were added, not many things were fixed or changed.
It also seems that the additions to the game, i’m talking about Living Story, are what ArenaNet is focussing upon, but many players would prefer different content.
At this point, players that really are interested in spending their time and money here, rather than in other games or whatever else leisure activity they prefer, need to know what is programmed for GW2 (other than Living Story).
I’m not sure that’s true … I’m not playing this game because devs are open and transparent. I’m doing it because it’s a fun game to play. I’m a loyal vet because the game is inline with my idea of what a good game is. Nothing a dev says about what happened before, happens now or happens later affects my level of enjoyment of the current game state, nor should it. I don’t think my philosophy to playing games is all that different from the actual reason others play it either. The game should be enjoyed for what it is.
I think that’s an interesting comment. “The game should be enjoyed for what it is”… What is it?
That’s the question we’re asking.
I came to this game about 7-8 months ago. I dove headfirst into the dungeon community, had a blast, still enjoy some parts of it. But as I’ve been playing it’s become pretty obvious that what the game WAS, is no longer what the game IS.
What the game WAS incorporated multiple elements. There was Open World, WvW, sPVP, and Dungeons/Fractals
All different elements of the game as a whole. You coudl even split it up and have some subsections, with Mini dungeons, jumping puzzles, and what not.
Point being, thats what the game WAS, doesn’t seem to be what the game IS.
That’s what we would like some clarification on. What will the game become in the future?
Proximity landmine, if two or more players start to stack they get blown to pieces and die instantly. That solves the problem.
What’s the proxemity, if we happen to drop a wall of reflect on a boss and everyone goes and stands behind it is that suddenly bad? Or is it only when we literally occupy the same space hugging in a corner? Are we going to accidently blow eachother up if we just cross paths? You see how this idea could be troublesome right?
I, for one, was mildly entertained by the internet drama on page 1.
Also I agree with spoj. Eles are the best overall but due to how unforgiving certain things in FotM are… sometimes things snowball quickly after a simple mistake.
I don’t see anything wrong with having a hammer guardian but christ it’s annoying when I waste my blast finishers and don’t get any might from them. :<
If it makes you feel better as a guardian main, I hate it just as much, freakin bullkitten, who kittening wants retaliation?
If ya’ll are interested in a kazul scrub I’m down for a guild invite
Nice to hear from CJ, just hope we can get a bit more, are we talking a year? Months? That’s about as specific as I’d ask.
What about Dungeons? WvW?
I have heard they have WvW stuff coming, just curious on a little more information, when, what, whatever they can tell us. Please hype us up, right now I’m expecting nothing and only sticking around for friends, give me a reason to get excited.
Would 430k HP sponge be a good enough sample to compare 1 ps war & 2 staff ele vs 1 dps war & 1 staff ele & 1 sc/x ele? Basically, a vacuum test.
Maybe, but part of what makes a PS Warrior desirable at all is that it can more easily maintain the Might under extreme pressure that might force the LH Ele to break its AA chain or leave melee range, etc.
