Impressed with some of the solo/skirmish skills coming out of SoS. Some of those fellows from Bane are really good fighters. Two of us were chasing two SoS after a failed garrison attack on our BL and had the fight won but got sloppy and a sword thief clocked us both mid stomp. I won’t let our support guardian live that one down.

GH… I have a lot of respect for your guild but surprised to see gloating post fight. Having 20 guys wreck a couple of us then corpse dance is out of character. I know it is part of the game but surprised to see skill groups doing that sort of stuff.

I know that when I run my condition build as opposed to my DPS build, our zerg can be all the way from north camp to center quaggan before I kill an arrow cart. Just putting that out there.

sure thats fine. but like i said. you usually kill siege in larger groups/zergs bc nobody is dropping siege for 1-3 people :P so i dont see this as a downfall. and in a zerg setting its only saving a milli second

Typically I never run in zergs unless I’m leveling a lowbie. I build for solo roaming and havoc team play, so my havoc builds compliment my team’s builds, and theirs mine. Under normal circumstances I’d never stop to destroy siege and just let others do it, but with the WXP update it’s hard to pass those 5 points.

maybe this is where we differ in opinions of which is best overall. you say that you dont run into zergs much. well here in lies a problem. wvw stands for World Vs World Vs World. not party vs party vs party or group vs group vs group or player vs player vs player. its about larger zergs/mobs getting work done together on a large scale. the only time you can fit 1 v 1 is when reinforcements are set and bump into each other or scouts. 95% of roaming thieves are not scouts they are looking for fun. and i do too but im talking within the context of wvw ’s purpose. u know what i mean? its like say pvp is about killing people. its not…its really about scoring points thru nodes and a few sprinkled kills. and protecting points and gaining buffs.

Your just trying to get ebay and BP to clash more so CD can sit back and enjoy first place.

How many folks from CD do you think actually give a kitten about 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place? How many from CD do you think actually give a kitten about PPT?

I can’t speak for the entire server nor would I even pretend I could, but every person I fight with on CD doesn’t care what tier we’re in, who our enemies are, or what place we’re in. We care about fights, whether it be over some building (a tower or keep) or in the open field. We care about improving our game and doing the very best we can even when we’re outnumbered, which tends to happen a bunch lately with our luck in match-ups.

We do not “sit back” and enjoy first place. I can almost guarantee you that if BP and Ebay want to double team CD, no one on CD would give a kitten. It would only make us better.

So go for it, if 1st place is so important to you.

Tell your PvDer’s to leave the server then. Go join T1/2 servers who pay for their services

Ebay once had the beginnings of off hour coverage and ya know what? I’m glad they kittening left the server. Most players during that time zone are the biggest fair weather-bandwagoning people i’ve ever seen in a video game.

Keep it like we Ebayers NA or bust….sure we got a few off hour die hards, but they know they the true underdogs of this game though. Not much to be done about it really.

As the guild leader of Good Fights I am glad you brought this to my attention, we do not chase people halfway across the map. I will speak with the offending members and find out why the kitten they did not kill you sooner (1/6th of the map is considered the maximim chasing distance for any GF member) will consider a gkick if they didn’t have a good enough reason.

The WvW Devs better take note this is happening.

The dedicated WvW guilds want competition, and with the emphasis on siege and zerging in general play they’re not getting it. So they are taking matters into their hands.

GvG’s are a blast for those involved, but they come with a risk. If GvG becomes the dominant play mode then it can totally shut down all spontaneous open world play.

I’ve seen this happen in other games where all pvp becomes prearranged and governed by rituals you have to follow, all enforced by peer pressure. If you attack someone outside of these matches (or attack the wrong enemy guild at the wrong time), then you can actually be ostracized.

And if this happens, it will cause casual QQ.

Set up GvG the sacred rules set apply.

Roaming PvP when the groups meet its a free for all, but you’ll see 1 organized pull off to so the other can kill the adds.

So, after much discussion about if a camps supply resets to 100 when its flipped or it stays with whatever supplies it has when the amount is below 100 is finally over.

The verdict: its stays drained when flipped.

it better, or I’ve been wasting money buying upgrades in camps I know we’re about to lose, solely to prevent the supply from falling into the hands of our enemies.

also, this week has been a fun match, but next week I’d prefer to get a different pair of opponents. TC and DB are each fun to play against, but both of you at once leaves me exhausted.

How would TC do if it matches up with SoR again? Do you think we could win this time?

No. A lot of TCers who come out in lopsided matchups are fairweathers. Once we start fighting a tougher, better enemy, they will stop showing up. It really depends how many people will stick around after the reset weekend honestly. We should be more competitive next time, but we wont win unless we have more hardcore WvWers who don’t quit when the tough gets going.

Anyone who remembers reset saturday/sunday that weekend knows what I mean. We didn’t have nearly as many queues, and in a lot of maps, we were outmanned. Comparing that to when we had a few maps queued, and a good force on each map save maybe one, and it’s pretty clear what’s going on.

I don’t think that would be as much of an issue if it was a real “T1” kind of fight. So, a fight like TCvSoRvBG(or JQ). When we faced SoR, we had a 3rd server that, because of a massive population difference, just couldn’t be nearly as active against either TC or SoR. This led SoR to focus a lot on us with very little distractions only because we had the popuation. If there was a 3rd server with a more equal population, then I think the match up would be very fun actually! I would love to have a SoRvBG/JQvTC match!

So you guys didn’t like when the server that had more people and more coverage focused on the second place server over the even less populated 3rd place server.

Hmm..where have I seen this scenario before…

- the only way you get better is to fight better competition.

Here’s the thing. TC isn’t better competition……just more ppl.

Ebay is more skilled on average than TC. <—- Fact
