LOL nice fights tonight. Just wish Ebay had a few more players to sling out there. Feels like we were perpetually facing outmanned tonight but that didn’t stop us from diving into the fray and even taking alot of our stuff back.

Expect to see Ebay and PK out there fighting no matter how many waves of men FA sends at us. Also, Maguuma, I want to hate you from the old days but I find myself respecting alot of the stuff you’ve done. Might try to NOT backslam us while we are pushing FA out of your borderlands (to get our little corner of it) a bit less, but otherwise pretty solid.

I keep trying to look for the good guild groups and organization but it gets lost amongst your zergs that contain your entire population cap in once place. And geez, I know it’s alot of alts and PVE’rs but you guys die so very easily.

All I see now are Tower Humpers, Zergers, and overall just horrible tendencies. What happened to the Mag of old where you could find roamers? Did they all leave or something?

I literally ate 2 MoA’s in a row and still lived……..wtf is up w/ y’all anymore?

Idk if you’re Ebay or FA. Earlier I was solo roaming around FA’s circle of camps. Probably 5+ cycles flipping every camp. Ran into a couple nice 1v3s though I lost them all. Several easy 1v2s. Didn’t find any challenging 1v1s. For the most part my roaming was PvE in WvW… bad luck I guess?

Before you’d be able to see TONS of mags roaming. Now you still have a few, but no where NEAR what Mag once had.

Its honestly saddening.

EBay and Mag seem to have about equal roaming populations from what I’ve seen so far.

In my experience, the roamers (myself included) really come out to play weekday nights after the weekend zergs dissipate. Spending more than 10 minutes at ruins island on weekend evenings and you’re guaranteed to be mowed down by a 20-30+ zerg.

You run away though and wait for back up

2) I never run from a 1v1, ever. I’ll back off if I’m outnumbered.

edit: Illusion is a ~500 member PvX guild. Most are not WvW/PvP oriented, so it wouldn’t surprise me if a fellow Asuran Thief ran in a 1v1 situation. However, our core WvWers are heavily skewed towards roaming, and many solo roam.

We lost a number of roamers when we got stuck against T2 servers for awhile because they couldn’t find much roaming competition. Out of Attunement left and so did OINK/TLP/whatever they call themselves. Don’t recall if there were others.

That’s sad considering it was a big part of your identity.

I must say that I did not miss ebay’s constant attempts at second place. Haven’t run into a server that’s plays anywhere near as bad in that respect.

I must not be understanding what you’re trying to say. You don’t like it when servers play WvW? What?

I’m saying that it was a lot more fun last week when SBI helped us take on the bigger server than having Ebay constantly trying to pick me off while I’m in big tussles with FA. Don’t get me wrong, there’s enough players on your server that are giving really good fights, so I’m happy about that. There’s also enough players on your server that won’t even fight us unless we’re already busy with FA that it’s becoming tiresome. There truly isn’t another server out there that plays like this while their map still is wholly belonging to the third party in that situation.

Sort of, except we are loving it! Thanks for the fun fights FA in our BL this morning. Taking garrison back was good times. We aren’t use to having that kind of army to push through. Mags BL today has been a blast too. That kitten zerg got the drop on us a couple times, and I find that impressive considering you were a larger group than us. You guys move fast and we have to be more on our toes with our area scouts.

Organized groups of 40 are not groups but zergs mate.

30 is the cap to who can join a commander and quite frankly ppl in all tiers run much greater numbers and this needs to be curbed. Ideal numbers for a group should be 10-15.

I would say 5 is the number to balance for but let’s face it that number is too small for WvW.

Let’s get this done anet. Last format MOS basically told us next weeks matchups. So its not like its anything new.

I think we should know before the matchups reset to be able to gameplan for the reset. Currently there is no effective way to gameplan because you don’t know who you are facing.

Bottom line is this greatly favors zerg servers since tactical over performing servers generally need the info to position their troops effectively

CD/YB/SBI would be a decent match up.

If revenge was in equation, I’d like to see TC to kill the dolly parade, over and over.

CD was free badges and the only thing that saved you from complete humiliation was your ability to PvD.

Either way it seems you trimmed off the excess fat so a new matchup would prolly be pretty kitten good.

We really have to change our tactics depending on the classes we have available at the time. That wipe at the start of the video was us acting like we had 3 more guardians than we actually did, the rest of the video we were playing much more to our class strengths.

I love how GF runs lots of non optimal classes/builds and still succeeds in spades….even with Cookies holding em back.

Yet at a drop of a hat can break from the group and mix it up 1v1.

Loved watching that Durios bust….I remember when I turned the corner and saw em all bunched up against the wall. It was like june Christmas.

Gonna throw this video Kyle Finnegan put together here. We don’t normally do this on the public forums, but it was a great evening and fun was had by all, and Kyle did a great job of editing a massive amount of footage and putting into one very epic WvW video (imo). That combination would absolutely crush us, due to coverage, but I’d believe we’d be able to hold our own in one border world easily, and probably a foot hold into EB during primetime. The off hours coverage would be devastating.

Wouldn’t mind Fighting a combo of whoever was in T4 previously. SBI, CD, and I forget who the other was.

Ok its like beating a dead horse, but Anet should have limited the amount of ppl per server a lot more harshly. The fact that people stack the T1 servers is the reason you are experiencing this.

Honestly Ive had it happen on Gates of Madness in T8 at umber of all places. Happens lots of times there is a decent sized fight in sm or one of the keeps. So anyone who only says it happens in the upper tiers is crazy.

Might not happen as often but it does happen.

Even T8 will have the ability to grind this engine to a crawl if you have a 3way battle. Heck I remember 3 ways inside SM….good god I could hear my machine squeeling.

Just its a lot rarer for it to happen on the non stacked servers is my point. Honestly 1/2 or more of the population in T1 needs to GTFO to lower tiers.

On Ebay we’ve seen up to 80 ppl at once.

Our zergs can get up there, but generally you’ll see 30ish. Now our organized groups are running 10-15 and sometimes up to like 20. Generally though you will see 10.

GF thieves are good…..that’s news to me.
