This game has a filter.

People who are easily offended need to use it. The reporting and suspending for offensive language is quite frankly user error on the part of the offended.

Also the agreements you click on at the beginning of the game will not hold up in the court of law. They’ve been overturned repeatedly.

Ok its like beating a dead horse, but Anet should have limited the amount of ppl per server a lot more harshly. The fact that people stack the T1 servers is the reason you are experiencing this.

I was in the midst of providing Anet with some super awesome code that would fix their ranking system, and although I don’t want to type it all out again since it’s sooooo complex, I feel bad for Ebay, so I’ll try to help.

How to do rankings properly (some pseudo code!)

The match up for our server this week is not as bad as others, but Arborstone got placed with us and Far Shiverpeaks, with a few tiers separating Arbor from the latter two. And, they are the green server to boot.

Hard work doesn’t pay off for a server in WvW any more. When one finally gets up enough to move up a tier and they face the same people, it just ruins the game for everyone. Its like if someone were stuck at level 79 in PvE and couldn’t progress because they decided to end the mission that gets them to 80. Most would leave because it is an indicator of a broken game with broken mechanics. This is how Ehmry Bay feels right now collectively as well.

Question is…..how many will quit the game due to Anet’s incompetence?

Don’t forget Ebay was supposed to be in T4 this week under the old system vs SoS/CD. SBI who was supposed to drop to T5 is now in T3….

I kinda feel bad for SBI. They were set to have an easy week, and are probably gonna spend the rest of the week getting dumpstered instead.

I wish WE were in that tier. I wanted to fight those servers and get my face kicked in. Because it would have been FUN.

Because even though we get capped while we all sleep they know what happens during prime time.

Wrong. T5 has been in the same matchup longer than T8. Also Ebay has been winning by the most margin out of EVERY matchup except T9 in EU…..and we all know how T9 in EU is.

That’s every matchup isn’t as lopsided as T5 NA right now. Think about that for a minute.

Ebay has roflstomped AR/BP for the past 3+ months….its no longer fun. Last match up we won by combined almost 400k (175k + 217k)

This week we’ll get no where near that b/c everyone has logged the kitten off due to facing the same 2 servers. If we had just 1 new server in the matchup we’d be as happy as a pig in kitten right now, but no…..its the same kittening matchup.

I’m from Ebay and quite frankly ANET PLEASE SWITCH SBI AND EBAY!!!

People that I felt bad for: AR WAR Thief, fml (or ftml) necro/guard, and a few no tags

If a thief is juming in the middle of your zerg you can guarantee he’s not going to kill you…….furthermore you have pretty much no chance to kill him unless he decides to let it happen.

First off, EBay doesn’t zerg … Fact (see pics below, this is clearly a coordinated guild group)

Second I have met a few folks on EBay that I genuinely like. (That is real, no sarcasm)

Each server has tower and guard hugging players, yes even EBay. I’m not sure why a few of the Ego Trolls here refuse to just accept that.

The fact that there are representation from most of the major guilds on EBay in the picture is why forum posters find it confusing when certain players make claims.

All I see is you getting beat down by an up level. /shrug

The difference between ebay tower huggers and y’alls is simple.

Ours get yelled at and ridiculed in chat. I come by huggers I verbally abuse them then kill the AR sitting there.

Ya know why? Because we’d get blown the kitten out but during NA primetime we’d be punching them in the mouth.

I like a challenge and if we get pitted against a 24/7 coverage server good….it’ll help us develope new tactics.

Its not about winning or losing but how much fun you have. We all know that coverage wins and is the only difference between tiers
