you just need to get used to Zerker gear, evading is super important, know when to retreat and when to burst.
also Zerker gear is not optimal for specific world bosses like Jormag and Tequatl since you cant crit against them, PVT is better but i would not suggest changing to it for just these few bosses.
Do Necros need a buff for PvE? Not really. Do the things they do need more relevance in high-end group PvE, i.e. CC and condition stacking? Absolutely.
Then how do you explain that necromancers have absolutely zero cleave abilities and see this as balance?

yeah investing in one state should go away, maybe lower condition stacking to 15.

anyway after you are done with your PvE, Warrior in WvW and PvP (beside Hambow & hammer train) is another story.
Warrior is the most telegraphed class, your best attacks get easily evaded against a skilled enemy you will notice this a lot, you will invest time to fake your burst and trick the enemy to waste evades, but in that time it could be the end of your warrior.

And give classes without access to cleave, or limited access to it, more options.

The biggest problem is IMO is actually the active heal. If we reduce the passive without doing something to make the active useful, we are just creating a different problem. Truly the active on this skill right now is in the following place. When I see someone press it I think “No No No don’t do that!” We are discussion some options here so if you want this to be constructive give suggestions towards improving the active. Reducing the passive is easy to do but we will not do it without solving the other problem. Also we will not greatly reduce it because it is giving Warriors a sense of sturdiness that we want their profession to have. Without strong heals, Warriors feel too much like everyone else. Setting them apart with strong heals has been good for changing their playstyle feel, but we agree it needs some tweaks.

I think we should agree that: Since it is perfectly viable to run 2 warriors in highly organized team play, they most likely will get nerfed.
It happened to the Elementalist, it happened to the Necromancers, I don’t see why it should be any different for the Warrior.
but the difference is Warrior was a Circus monkey in the past, anyway all the hate comes from one build not Warrior as a whole.

The Point of this nerf is to promote “Active” play instead of “Passive” play. When i see a guardian keeping his block heal, and waiting at just the right moment to block an eviscerate and time when to use his walls/bubbles at just the right place at the right location and timing some blinds for that hammer stun/dangerous skill, that takes skill and knowledge of the game to pull off, rather then Mr. Warrior troll swinging everywhere and dosen’t give two kittens of whats going on because he’s already healing up with his signet and the rest of his HamBow cheese armor to back him up.
Warrior is not a Guardian, warrior’s “supposed active play” is wrecking things up not healing and blocking, thats other class job, so passive healing suits warrior well as it makes him focus more on damage.
but again you are QQing about just one build, just one.

the trick is how to nerf Hambow without sending warrior garbage , already Hammer and Long Bow received big damage nerfs but still Hambow is what mostly warriors play in PvP.

I have a warrior, and I think the scaling is poor. IMO, that’s where the problem is: with NO healing power, it’s still 392 HP/sec. With max healing power, it’s only like 430 HP/sec or something.
They should change it so that it starts off at ~300 HP/sec and give better scaling so that warriors have to actually spec into healing power.

seriously Hambow is really strong, i’m a warrior and i don’t deny it, CC, tanky, conditions removals and healing, its hard to kill em even on my Warrior (not hambow).
but its just one build, the others are just OKish/meh and even if you want to nerf it , how do you nerf it without sending the whole warrior class to the laughing circus as what used to be before?
for example healing signet , nerfing it means killing every other OKish warrior build and will lead “non-hambow warriors” to go Hambow because its mainly CC/cleansing ire is what makes hambow warrior survives more than other builds.
that is why i think we should adapt to this fact, build around it as every class has its own top build that you have to take some measures to deal with.
huge part why this build is strong is because of Conquest mode fighting over capture points which favors Hambow greatly, CC melee range + Combustive Shot covers the whole point, this build wants you to come near to be effective.
as long as we are playing “Conquest” mode hambow should be strong, but if ANet makes a new mode that does not involve fighting over a capture point i.e, “Team Deathmatch” ,so less melee, more mobile builds, the slow Hambow will lose its glory, just like in WvW there is no Hambow warriors yes melee train hammer warriors but no Hambow.

This would make the healing signet even more powerful. You also have to factor in someone using Rune of the Warrior. So that would be a 2k heal every four seconds.
Some people mentioned about the warrior rune combine with Fast Hand Trait, you can be able to swap weapon every 4 seconds. Well, if you are sure you can swap your weapon “EVERY” 4 seconds while without any poison on, you are welcomed to do so…
before anyone jump into assumptions, please note that Rune of the Warrior does NOT work with Fast hands.
PVT shout heal build is great for WvW zerging , but for PvE you should aim for full zerker, maybe keep the traits as its now and start replacing PVT gear by berserker little by little until you get better at it.

i have this issue with the mini map since the latest patch, when i move i cant use the mini map it slips back to center when i grab and try to view inside it.
when i stop moving i can use it normally as before.
people say runner warriors are ok but what if you arent playing a super runner class like thief or mesmer or ele or another warrior how do You run from the said warrior when he returns over and over and somehow manages to harm you ?
pretty much the only condition that slows them is stun and fear and those dont last over 3 seconds usually specially if said warr has lemongrass and melandru
How is this any different than a Thief except that they do more damage with better ability to run away and get back into the fight?
i never agreed with thief being fine either but since theres so many defending thief i just dint mentioned it
the diference is if a thief messess up i can at least kill em cuz 98% thieves run glass cannon thief can actually be balanced easily though

If a Warrior is not glass and using greatsword how are you dying exactly? Only bad Thieves die in any situation ever in WvW while wearing full zerker.
A war in full zerker armor can have 3.2k attack, 3.2k armor 60% crit chance(with fury) 89+ crit dmg 22.5k vit, great regen via hs and great mobility via gs.
3.2k armor ? on zerker gear !!! , dude im using “Knight” armor with zerker trinkets and got only 2.7k armor, stop pulling numbers out of that hole
You do realise that warrior was the most played class even when they were garbage right? Even now most ‘how to beat a warrior?’ threads end with someone effectively saying that when you know what you need to dodge you should never lose 1v1 against a warrior.

hes right, the Majority of all Warrior skills are high telegraphed easy to dodge, easy to predict, while other professions enjoy instant casting skills and can abuse evades/teleports/stealth to ridicules levels, a skilled player should never lose to a warrior, a skilled warrior have to spent some time faking bursts to make the opponent waste evades/teleports before bursting him down.
i roam with GS/Sw-Sh love it so much, the first thing that you will notice is your warrior is now very mobile jumping all over the place unlike the awfully slow hammer.
with the right traits i find it pretty effective against these new Fotm Mesmers plague, you need the mobility, every gap closer and the precision to hit as low as possible of its clones which this set delivers nicely.
the cool shield block is awesome its like an Endure pain on less CD so no need to take it in utility slots.
all in all,this set with the right build is pretty dangerous 1vs1, i think of it like SkullCrack/Eviscrete on speedy wheels, but not viable for large groups and zerging other sets are better such as H/Sw-WH
Where were all these people defending HS when Signet of Restoration got nerfed? Even pre-nerf it didn’t compare to HS’s current form because it had all the counters HS has and then a bunch more.

Storage upgrades aren’t about economic efficiency, they are about convenience. I want to play the game; I don’t want to spend a significant amount of time managing my inventory — this upgrade was a major advantage in this regard.

in a serious 1v1 duel, my warrior is just like an open book to every skilled enemy , bull charge, shield bash, earthshaker, eviscerate, savage leap, Rush and so on, get dodged so easy!! , it gets frustrating that other professions can instant attack leaving less or no chance at all to evade while warrior cant do the same.
what do you think ?

i really like the ele and i think its the highest profession in terms of skill cap, just started leveling my own asura ele xD.
i’m looking for a solo/small group build, i think the ele and guard are the best professions to be equipped with celestial/boon duration gear.
what do you recommend ? is celestial/boon duration gear viable or i should get other gear maybe divinity runes?

Endure Pain – Pretty much an Invul that lets you still be hit by conditions, stunned, slowed, and die.
Combined with other skills they are immune to everything.
Mesmers have 300 less armor which is around 10% more physical damage taken so grats Warriors have 4.5k more health against physical damage compared to a Mesmer. The game was balanced around the classes base health and armor.
So, they can take MORE damage and have MORE health combined with skills and traits that let them regen more health than every other class inside and outside of combat and have insane mobility…all this on a “heavy” armor class.
Also wow they can’t regen out of combat the poor things its a shame when they are regenerating 1000s of life per second from being out of combat. If you mean while running away in combat Mesmers can use stealth and teleports that are easier to get than Warriors mobility that requires two weapons that can’t kill on their own.
Maybe you should actually LOOK at the heal that Mesmer have its NOT 1000s every second. It is like like 980 every THREE seconds at the VERY best and IN combat ONLY compared to Warrior which in the same 3 seconds would be 1,176 which is ALL the time (unless on cool down) unlike the Mesmer which requires BOTH being in combat AND having 3 illusions up and even then it is LESS than the class with more base armor and health…

Signet of Rage = 30second swiftness, 60second cool down
dude if a warrior ever beats your mesmer then you are really really bad, there is no way a skilled mesmer ever get killed by a warrior.
reroll other class, mesmer isn’t for you.
