and i’m not sure where you got the feeling spellbreaker has synergy with strengths. nothing buff strength more then defense and discipline

At least in WvW zerging, I can see warrior going STR/DISC/SB hammer with all CC traits.

To be honest, Spellbreaker’s heal alone is enough to make me consider dropping defense, let alone Full Counter.

He’s saying that Anet made yet another traitline so mandatory for warrior to function and this is horrible, which all of us should agree with.

Actually no.

You can pair Spellbreaker with Strength now and be viable and synergies well, instead of the usual must have DEFENSE/DISCIPLINE

Spellbreaker can now choose to drop defense in favor of Strength, Which means DEFENSE got less mandatory .

Now if they only do something about Discipline, which is indeed our most mandatory line not Strength.

When it comes to Warrior balancing, Anet always chose the easier hustle free route.

I used to disagree with FH being baseline for warrior, but now after playing it a lot more, I have come around and it definitely suits the class as a baseline.

I see that you main Thief, but apparently Vault spam which is an evade and can out damage a level 3 Eviscerate is balanced i guess but warrior is not ?! , On top of 3 dodges, evades, stealth, blocks and shadow steps.

There are numbers of broken builds but people chose to cry about warrior.

Core Warrior needed such a change, Core builds should never be inferior to Elite builds.

Anet stated that Elite traits are a choice not an upgrade.

It’s unbeatable in duels and effective in team fights. It can sustain outnumbered for quite some time. What more do you want?

prety much this… i barely ever see a Warrior go down in a 1v1

most of the time we need to gang up on one and even then they can tank the kitten hell out of us while running around and even kill someone if we don’t have a support with us….

the only time Warriors seem to have issues are with Bomber Mesmers/Thiefs
seriously it feels like warrior are farting heals while fighting one….and still can hit pretty kitten hard…

To be honest, i am having a blast with core warrior, core warrior never been this fun.

If they are indeed making Elites as a “An option not a must” then they are on the right track, still a bit of balancing needed here and there.

My biggest gripe for daggers is lack of mobility and too much melee.

Its sad when you have to use the burst and spend adrenaline just to move a bit.

Dagger #2 should be an Ammo type skill with 2 or even 3 charges.
Dagger #3 should be a ranged skill.

Warrior Sword F1 Flurry does not benefit from Bursts traits with only the Immobilize landed on target.

This happens if you press F1 to immobilize a target then swap weapons fast. The target is immobilized and Adrenaline is spent but Bursts traits does not proc with it.

Required Change : F1 Flurry Burst should be considered landed as soon as the target get immobilized.

People seriously need to do research on this before posting about it.

It’s not servers lacking speed that’s the issue; it’s profession design and the huge amount of proc effects, boons, and conditions which all need to be calculated, ticked, and updated/kept track of all firing off as interrupts half the time. ANet has come out and said this… more than once.

So we should stop playing WvW ?

Given this change would inhibit my build and anyone’s build not stacking endurance…..NO!

Please explain how ?!

I mean for real, throwing a dodge just to keep endurance bar empty for a 10% damage increase is very awkward.

Someone could suggest removing endurance bar and you will be happy !! , Endurance should be sought for, Not fought against.

This trait as it stands should be deleted, modified and get the same treatment of the old Berserker’s Power.

It is much better for PvP than Berserkers Power.

You know…

I wont be surprised if Berserkers Power dropped even for PvE, I mean the more Reckless Dodges you make could really outmatch the benefit you get from Berserkers Power.

The advantange of Durabilty over strength is generic boon duration as opposed to specific.

If all you wanted is boon duration then Leadership is a better choice.

7% of crit to heal has no cooldown, the amount is low anyway, 700 heal for a 10k crit.

I can see it work in PvE or WvW zerging, Quickness is the real deal but has 5s cooldown.

Yeah it’s awesome, just ditch Stamina signet, keep berserker stance and the food, a bit expensive food but it hits the spot good better than fried dumblings

I’m running the same food, swapped out my berserker stance for stam sig for 90% regen, I’m liking it so far

Pretty sure it doesn’t stack with the food, unless changed lately

  • Berserker’s Power has a 10s duration.
  • Burst skills has a cooldown.
  • Burst skills still need adrenaline.
  • Keeping 3 stacks of Berserker’s Power is hard anyway.

With all these things i hardly see the purpose of capping Berserker’s Power at 3 stacks.

Remove the cap, Give Berserkers and Spellcasters something to play with when they try to couple with Strength trait line.

I’m a bit scared to give up cleansing ire, but then again the lack of stab is pretty kitten.

Full glass coupled with (Berserker Stance/Healing Signet/Brawler’s Recovery) you should be able to kill anyone before he does that to you.

In the past i used to have an extra pair of weapons equipped with Sigil of Purity, Generosity and Cleansing for a troll condi shredding warrior, you can try that, but to be honest you can do fine without and the dodges you get from the new trait is great.

I only played for an hour..

With “Might makes right” i personally haven’t seen a big difference in damage compared to before patch, maybe because of the new change to Sharpening stones ?!

In the little time i had, it was nice seeing my health never budge, but is it worth it ?

no more Ticket cap , i just got 14 tickets on the first Diamond Chest after finishing diamond tier.

This is unintended. There is supposed to be a weekly ticket cap and we will be fixing this.

Lets hope its not just Strength trait line they are working on.

Because what they are doing is just making Strength more appealing to take mostly in a core warrior build, which is already the case, unless they do something, Defense/Discipline again is dominating most if not all Warrior’s builds.

Or maybe they are treating Strength trait line as they treat a specialization ? (i heard you can not take 2 specializations).

So Strength Equals the other two [Spellbreaker] or [Berserker] and not inferior to them.

Which means they are accepting the fact that Defense/Discipline are still mandatory, And you are only free to choose the 3rd trait line of the followings .. [Strength], [Spellbreaker] or [Berserker].

I would suggest GS-Sw/Wh for mobility…

But with Mounts in the new expansion, Mobility issue is resolved, i would pick less mobile weapons and higher damage maybe GS- Axe/Mace

I made a suggestion way back to make all GS skills minus Rush to be 5 targets skill including Auto Attacks.

Our skills require a melee range but Other professions get the 5 targets skills while also ranged and sometimes unblockable.

There is only 2 Stages with the new Elite, So this could explain the lowered percentage.

Anyway they are going to rework all traits for all Provisions, I hope that they don’t touch Core Warrior and maybe revert the Shield’s unjustified nerf back.

New class mechanic: “Full counter”
Absorbs all damage and effects from the next ability you’re hit with, then counterattacks all enemies in the area, dazing them. Gain stability, evade while counterattacking. Unblockable.

Weapon Skills: Dagger/Dagger

1. Auto-attack chain:

3 Hits:
(1) Damage, increased damage on critical
(2) Damage, increased damage on critical
(3) Damage, might, additional might on critical.

2. “Aura Slicer”
Basically Heartseeker with a slow and a 6 sec Cooldown (300 range)

3. “Disrupting Stab”
Short daze, stuns enemies and deals additional damage when you interrupt them with this skill.

4. “Wastrels’s Ruin”
Pure damage skill, does double damage when enemy is not using a skill. Synergy with skill #3 (Interrup -> Stun -> Increased damage from #4)

5. “Bladestorm”
Casts for 1,5 secs, does damage 8x, inflicts vulnerability, gives swiftness, reflects projectiles from the front for the duration of the cast. (Can you move while casting?)

Adrenaline Skill: “Breaching Strike”
Leaps at your target (combo finisher), removes 2 boons from enemy struck, does decent damage, Unblockable.

Utility Skills: Meditations

Healing Skill: “Natural Healing”
Heals for almost 12k (?!?!), removes 7 conditions AND boons from yourself.

“Sight Beyond sight”
Removes blindness, reveals enemies around you, next attack crits. Has the new “count” mechanic (Stores up to 2 counts).

“Imminent Threat”
Taunts nearby foes, gain Retaliation and additional Adrenaline for each foe.

“Break Enchatments”
Does Damage in a small area and removes 2 Boons from each enemy. Deal double damage to foes that lose a boon. Unblockable.

“Featherfoot Grace”
Breaks stun, gain Superspeed, gain Resistance.

Elite: “Winds of Disenchantment”
Creates a big dome, enemies lose boons on an interval and cant receive new ones. Destroys projectiles, unblockable, hits 10 people.

Traits:
I only found 3 GM traits in WP stream.

“Enchatment Collapse”
Removing a boon from a foes causes all nearby foes to lose an additional boon. Unblockable.

“Revenge Counter”
New class mechanic “Full Counter” deals additional damage. Gain resistance and copy 5 of your conditions to enemies hit by “Full counter”.

“Mageblade Tether”
Hitting enemies with a burst skill tethers them to you. If they move beyond the range threshold, pull them back to you. Gives might, reveals enemy. Tether holds for 8 seconds.
