Well there is a WHOLE lot of possible builds that cant be used because you need 20 in dueling to have enough clones to use them, but in order to get all the other traits you need 60 points not in dueling, if it was moved down we might actually be able to use our own class mechanics in more than 1 or 2 builds.
Yah, the 2 shatter traits at the end of inspire need to be consolidated and moved to master, that way you can use it with I-persona with out missing DE, this trait removed and new grandmaster traits put in place for the line.

Yah, we don’t intend to stick around for a group larger then our selves with coordination, which re-spawn at a nearby way point. I mean we can farm you for a while but, you would overwhelm us some time. I Forgot all the siege that was plopped down ^.^- that hurts also.
I believe that HoD is the best place to transfer for skilled players who want to play WvW for fun and blob-free-lag-free-fights.
Idk where these skilled players are, lately its been 1v3+ where people only to wipe and come back with more numbers, they run into towers to man siege and never come out alone. If zerging is skill then I guess HoD is winning. So far only people to give me a fair fight have been Yarr and they are from FC originally… Also please HoD stop with the emotes after it takes 7+ to kill 2 guys, seriously only 1 more week and your server goes bye bye to silver league, Ahh there is some skilled GoM though, that one necro got me good , props to the Gom necro!

yeah, I don’t play thief, I play a necro I do little to no roaming. You seem to be confused hope that cleared it up. Now speaking open field wise, why have I never seen [Deth] alone with this 20 man super group that is so elite and dominant? I usually see [Deth] and around 20-30 pugs/militia.
My last comment still firmly stands, how can you even talk about people having no skill and being zerglings when your guild does the same?
So far in this match up, a good portion of time we have worked as a support group for a much larger group. Since the HoD groups are generally to large for a 20 man (normally a 15 to 12 man) to wipe, we assist the larger group in taking and defending objectives. Though our movements are different and separate of the larger group. For example, me might push in behind you while your fighting the main force and kill your back line while sandwiching the front line. Though there have been occasions, where numbers was with in the limits of what we are capable of wiping alone and we went in and did so. But if you have only seen us when we are assisting our larger group, that means there was an even larger HoD group about and you would most likely apart of that group. So one could conclude that you are probably a zergling. But eh, don’t take my word for it. My information and content is probably twisted by my own interests.

Hmm.. I have never had a problem with them. Sure the runes have killed me a time or two. But that is just as many times other runes have played a hand in my demise. I do admit, I run a build with them in it. But I only use it with 2 interrupts with relatively long CD’s. If I manage to land them it can be devastating but that is also because I pick up BI, a Mesmer trait with compliments them. Yet they may be a little to strong at times. I would like them to be done away with and recreated a Mesmer trait pretty far down one of our trait lines. It makes it so a few of my abilities really powerful if I land them at the correct time, which is difficult given this game has no visible cast bars.
I speak for as a Mesmer here. They are broken on some other classes. Though I rarely have a issue with any of them.
hmm…… Portal bombing massive objectives such kitten or a Garrison have been some of the most fun and rewarding times of WvW I have ever had. Take those away and I will find you.
What I am really trying to say is if DR had stepped up to do their best during the SF prime time, we both could have held out against SF, but no, we were being attacked, either alliance or not, SF kept a steady hold of ppt, and DR could have prevented its borderland from being taken just like FC held out bay and farmed CoSa and StaR zergs at some point :P you guys gave me several exotics, I made around 10g one night ty

I run with Deth, but I can also tell you about how we farmed CoSA and StaR constantly in our BL, in the water camp and in our bay most of the time, I used to be in SF, in the old days when King was around with Seven Mirror, Jugglez, Shield, Priest of Lyssa etc. I won’t leave FC though, I appreciate the invite, but I like good fights, If people like me and others left, you wouldn’t have much to fight :/ tl’dr : I was in King for a brief period of time, they taught me a lot in my fighting, but in Fc i learned organized fighting, I thank Seven and all the others for helping me when I needed training in roaming and dueling.

hmm……. I don’t follow you. You must not relies that mornings are our down time. As we have jobs or schooling at that time (and a life).The majority (if any of our main WvW members) are not on at this time. Though we are still PvX so you could have been killing one of our randoms. While I’m almost never on at that time I did poke my head in during that time one day to find 5 members on, none of which attend our raids.
I had a lot of respect for VLK before this match up. When I thought of VLK I thought of some of the best group fighters and solo roamers I had ever seen. Now I just think of zerglings who cant win a 1 v 1 even vs an EXTREMELY zerg/large group combat oriented build. I even made a mockery of some in a 2 v 1 using the same build that before was pretty much defenseless in 1 v 1’s, let alone 1 v x. I’m sure that some of the old VLK members from FC’s previous match up with HoD are still left. But the people I’m running into now extremely disappoint me.
It really depends what time you catch us. If we’re actually working as a group we tend to run group builds which makes us pretty kittenty for 1v1s. Catch us on our off hours and you will find our roamers and more 1v1/small group oriented.
But keep in mind, I am beyond useless 1 v 1 with this build. Normally I just lay down and die because it has terrible damage out put. It is strictly built supporting the group and re-positioning NOT harming the enemies back line. And what damage it does do to the back line is hardly noted by any thing besides a full zerker.

Hmmm.. IDK what the problem is, I never have problems finding / targeting the real Mesmer. I’ll find it nearly instantly after it comes out of stealth. Then again I am a mesmer and I’ve learned our tricks. I never use this, but… its a l2p issue.
Some of you need to remember that there is players on every server that does these type of things either man up and get used to it or stop the complaints!
That was my point, I was also making him aware of some of my thoughts of some of Cosa’s guild members.
I’ll use food at first because many of my builds require me to do so to be effective.I also stack the guard bonuses, but my primary objective when roaming is dolyaks, camps and sentry’s. The faster I can do them, the less likely a zerg is going to roll over me in the middle of doing so. I also enjoy taking on players, while I respect the idea of a fair fight I have other priorities, and if they want a fair fight they can invite me to their group and ask for a duel and I’ll remove my stacks and go at it.
Goodfight to those six SF in FC BL who fought me, the Guard and the Thief. Although laughing at the end and jumping on my body was very unsportsmanlike.
SF tend to do that. Though the SF I know from the ghetto days where much nicer and respectable, its only recently they have turned into kittens.
Look Anet, if you are gonna nerf our income in WvW, then give us something else, we need something to make a living on there. You take it all from us and you will start to lose a lot of us, a lot of us only like WvW. But that doesn’t mean we don’t need gold.
First off, no one is making 50g an hour in Frostgorge unless they get really lucky, and it’s definitely not consistently that profitable, but that’s really irrelevant.
You’re completely missing the point. Anet doesn’t give a kitten about your drop rates if you’re not giving them money. The WvW community has shown very little interest in buying anything out of the gemshop and the only way they were making money off us was the constant server swapping shenanigans. It’s pretty clear that we’re all getting sick of that and lots were opting to grind the gold ingame anyway, refusing to pay for it with real money. Anet knows that probably won’t be a reliable source of income for much longer, with the upcoming leagues largely locking down server transfers for almost two months at a time, especially considering how many WvW guilds have outright quit or stated they’re only waiting around for ESO to come out next year.
The gemshop offerings such as finishers are likely Anet’s final attempt to turn the WvW game mode into a profitable portion of their business, and if it fails, there is literally no reason for them to continue supporting the game mode. The WvW servers cost a lot of money to operate and maintain, and the dev(s) responsible for WvW have salaries that need to be paid, which means that if WvW players don’t start buying things from the shop, Anet will do everything they can to drive us into a more profitable gametype, or at the very least out of the game altogether so we stop hogging server resources.
tl;dr you’re thinking like a player who wants loot, they’re thinking like a company that wants money.
Not our fault that we don’t buy things for them. It’s more their fault that they aren’t in touch with the community enough to know what we really would want. I could think of a multitude of things I would buy if they were put in the gem store, the problem A-net just doesn’t know their community well enough to implement them.
being a former fergusons crossing soldier , I was happy to see we got you guys in a match. If anything else it was to see who was still playing there and have some trips down memory lane.
After 2 short sittings of playing ive found very few of the ole school guys left. What replaced them is even more disturbing. Seems like the whole Olympic track team of runners transferred in. Not only do most run for even fights. They run from outnumbered fights in there favor..
I normally make a video or two with some music that fits the mood. But.. wow all I have clips of is people running from me.

No offense, but I see the same thing from NSP all day long, the only time they don’t run is when its a gank squad or they called for 3 more people already. We all see that from the majority of players on most servers. day in and day out. Came across a hardened solo roamer and we will be happy to do battle, but if you just come across a random. Don’t expect them to stay very long.
Bronze blow outs happen when you put 2 weaker servers against a stronger one, but if you put 2 strong servers with a weak server in the bronze league, weaker server will step up and it’ll become a pretty awesome match up ^.^
Like the Current FC/DH/NSP match up, FC couldn’t normaly compete with ether of these servers if It was with a server like DR or AR but but it can compete when DH and NSP is together.
I just would like people to keep in mind- While The GvG community is a minority, those that are directly or even indirectly opposing it is also a minority. Most people don’t really care.
hmm… NSP and DH both with Qued zergs in our border attacking our keeps at the same time while ignoring each other… HMMMMMM…..

I can barely bring my self to play 1 hour of WvW at a time, before I would 6 hour binge play. Since the patch I haven’t enjoyed it nearly as much as I used to. Partly because of the lag and partly because of blood lust.
well to be completely honest your not getting replies from the devs because that would encourage your rash behavior.
1. the gvg community needs to go anyhow the sooner the better
2. it wont have much effect at all if the guild was worth anything to begin with
3. no the buff has not been around long enough to demonize it yet. sorry you and your pals gunna have to wait till there is actual data
4. wvw was never about balance its about tactics on a large scale and structure capturing your open field fights and gvg where a kittened squirrel frog offspring of it
in conclusion i think its about time this pretend wvw community that’s complaining about this just stops. your like 1/100th of the wvw community and just because you 30 or so people spam forums with the same posts over and over doesn’t mean you have tons of folks backing you. even if you did this is what we all signed up for it was fairly obvious from beta that it was a siege using fort capping kinda game play and if you don’t like it sorry but to bad
WvW is what you make of it, any portion of any activity that takes place in there is as valid as any other, open field combat on a larger scale will always take place in this game mode. This is simply because large groups of people are moving from location to location to siege and defend. These groups are bound to run into each other and attack each other. What GvG did is larger scale open field combat, but rather in a controlled environment. So it is part of WvW because it exactly replicates something that will happen and will happen often. sure its more controlled and more fair then these battles normally are. But what is wrong with players going out of their way to create something where they can test them selves and give themselves a greater challenge? Isn’t what the majority of players play this game for? a challenge?
And finally. You should have more respect for guilds in this community. The put in hours and hours of time into WvW NOT doing GvG and probably putting in more time that your self. So to put them down in a such a way just shows you lack respect for those who put in their time FOR your server.

The fact that you don’t care about them, isn’t that why it has to be something else? The buff has to be something most players will care about. No-one cared about the quaggan and they only get captured as an afterthought. It also doesn’t make sense for someone to constantly fight over the ruins – which doesn’t award karma or exp – if the only buff was karma or Wxp because they themselves won’t benefit from it.
I don’t think points from stomps or reduced damage from siege would be enough for people to care about the ruins, especially on lower ranked servers where siege isn’t as big of an issue. A buff for points on stomp alone isn’t appealing to people because blow out matches are common and points don’t mean anything to a lot of people (even the serious people).
What kind of buff is honestly valuable enough that players will care about it as much as they care about the current suggestion, but one that people find acceptable? A celestial buff is something that every player will benefit from. Someone who’s stepping into WvW for the first time will understand it makes them better, zergs going to fight an enemy zerg will be glad they have it because it makes them better in combat. The buff needs to be important for people to care about the ruins. What alternative is there that is as universally attractive as a celestial buff?
You mention the lower tiers here. But guess what is popular in those tiers? Dueling, GvG, team combat…. sure reduced siege damage wouldn’t be as important to us, but we would like it a whole lot more then a buff that ruins some of our favorite pass times. There is certainly better options then a stat buffs that could still be helpful in a large portion of WvW.

There can be builds that are equally powerful or even more powerful, it just requires more skill and player ability to use. Rather then putting them selves on pew-pew auto pilot.
