ok i have noticed that there is not really any way of obtaining badges only by killing the clamming lord or by killing players or by doing jump puzzles. if Im correct a badge of honor is a prof that you have honor. what about defending a keep or a castle by repairing walls or resing players or even capturing a fort castle or camp. i find the badges of honor are well not obtanible unless you do one of the methads of kill players kill claimers or run fast in a JP. here is an idea for people like me who actually repare walls or help build while pushing back enemies who are attacking.

Im not crying about badges of honor i just want maybe a better way for people like me who repare or actually succeed in repelling enemies to have a few Bages of honor. its an idea and feel free to comment

i remember in 5 pulls i hit 3 in a row and got elabrate totums and powerful venimun sacks so i actually love the clover recipe the 1x one.

3. im working on gift of battle gift of fortuen gift of twlight and surise and i need my precursers here is what i have atm

gift of battle, 2 gifts of exploration, 2 gifts of asclon, blood stone shards, 4 icy runestone, 13 onyx loadstones, 7onyx cores, 8 charged loadstones, and 2 charged cores.

I still find it funnie that inorder to get you legendary you need legendary pockets lol. some deep pockets actully if you going for sunrise or twlight. but i actully love the idea for account bound precursors. but i don’t know about an epic event for the Laural though it be just like the kakra event which is truly lost to anet (looking at you lost shores) but at the moment anet says their watching the prices but they are to busy trying to do other stoff. Look at the persecutor forum at the top of crafting forums it alredy has over 1000 posts from people and not much from anet so that proves my point.

ok what i have done with my guildmates and myself
1: trade like i need charged cores and onyx ill trade my molten cores Cristal or destroyer cores for theses
2: ill buy them for a guildie doscount like charged 3 gold insted of the TP
3: ill trade weapons for them like my guildmate needs daggers any rare or exaudic for loadstones
4: we try to get the guild for a dungeon run like TA or FoTM for Loadstones
5: we get the guild together for a orr raid
basically what I’m saying is ask you guildmates what legendary they want and if their open for trade for what they need. that may be the best way to obtain what you need. i think this is how anet wants us to obtain our loadstones for what we need. I have always been the one that loved helping my guildmates and such.

ok here is what ill say im working on my legendary greatsword Eterinty i need 2 legendary great swords. im still working on covers and the dreaded precursor. what I would say is yes wait for a scavenger hunt although anet has no team for it atm. and there might be a chance that they will release new legendary weapons in an update.

ive herd of the auto run sometimes not wanting to stop movement.

I’m a human as well and our racial skill are not bad I like the prayer to Komeir to help remove conditions when Im in the Grawl fractal.

I dont know why anet didnt put down a range at which the portal would work. I have had that issue a long time with the range.

ok my main is a mesmer what I got to say about it is yes a mesmer isnt really ment for stealthing. we dont do bonnus damage from getting out of stealth but what is nice about a mesmer is the fact that their stealth is mostly ment as a group decoy or getting to another area safly in TA I always run mass invisibility because of some of the scrap mobs but I always want a theif while I run in TA. my opinion is I wouldent use a mesmer for the idea of stealth I would rather have them be more of a crowd control and confusion.

the greatsword is my favorite wepon for the mesmer i fell in love with it in the first open beta. and yes im a human i levitate the greatsword in the air between my hands chanaling the weapon into a beam yes it says in the description a beam. and on top of that i somman a phantom that uses whirling attack at the enime that cripples them. and i can stab my great sword into the ground and stabbing the enimi with a illusan sword what else is there more to ask for lol.

I actually will agree with this I do have a ranger he is not my main but when I stow my pet I want him stowed not hoping out of my pocket like pikachue. and what really gets annoying sometimes is people will sometimes forget like myself that they need to put their pet to away. i don’t like doing the borderland jumping puzzle with a rangers bare wanting to give me a hug or nibble at my health bar. but just my 2 cents

i ran Arah Story 3 times on he same charater Kenage Achalarus my mesmer. here is what i felt

1time: holey kitten the mobs on the ship and broken armor led to my team quitting because all or armor was broken this was way back in augest before the revamp

2time: wow this is easy ship wasnt bad got to zitan humm ok he is planning something (just stood there and took it like he was stoned) even my good friend rasmi hadesaid “I dont beleave he is dead ill go check” he jumped off the ship to see if he died

3time: was the same as the second time except for zitan used these chreatures that hade a portrate and health but no name and they behaved like worms. they downed me. but thats is nothing special

i dont know what to say think of it this way its an elder dragon bent on detroying everything leading an army of the dead. so why is he a push over? why is he not really attacking us. he blew up the cannon in a cut scene comeon he couldof jumped on the ship or knock it out of the sky. but i guess i felt like a hero by killing a draon that didnt really fight back.

umm that is very intrusting i have crafted to 400 in September i have not crafted any jewlery that was emediatly soul bound to the charater that made it. but if your trying to get to 400 from the 350-400 that slow process here is a tip
1 salvage your rings if you dont need it or sell it on TP if its worth more than merchant
2: talk to the apprentace jewlery maker and buy recipies like exquisit jewls. for karma
3: farm minning nodes youll get the orr you need and maybe some gemstones.

Ok here is what i have done for my legendary great sword Eternaty (still working on it atm) one is I have not got my precursors Dawn and Dusk. I have stoped dumping all my rare and exaudic greatswords to the mystic troll. and what Im trying to do is get everything else for my legendary. the Gift of twlight and sunrise. I understand that the legendary weapons should be a grind fest all the way to Orr and back. I love how the exotic jewel boxes give loadstones although I dumped 200k karma to them and got a lot of junk and a risen priest of Bathazar and a cold tonic. that was nice now we can finaly exchange, out karma for gold. about 4255 karma for maybe 5 silver. and Im glad that the heavy moldy bags drop a lot more frequently to help with my legendary but anet why no scavenger hunt? seriously look at the forums on this page. although I do hear that they may be implying more legendarys but that dosnt help the issue of the precurser lottery tickets. and I have checked in HoD on Lyssas temple and suprisling I have seen not bots in that area. (mostly because it constantly gets contested) and that update for the risen Avitars was nice although Grinth is a lot more over powerd with his votex that spit you up. but the real question I have on avitars is chest drop rate of precursers

I stoped using ilusan of life because it would make my guild mates mad and the issue with the res is its like the skill “by Urals hammer” wich killed you after about 80 seconds. i stoped running that skill because of the cool down 130 seconds and the fact that you half to kill a foe to be off the skill. its not a good skill to use. only good as a last minit throw down but I would rather use time warp wich can make my cast for downed a lot faster and i can res my self 2 times as fast getting me up faster. i would rather see this

I’ve been in HoD since guild wars 2 beta week 1 first day and I will never move I remember days when i would hit B and see the pie all one color “us” now it seems like were mostly fighting DH and GoM. I would like to see the good old glory days when we were all that people talked about.

this is the second day i have tried the JP and well i keep getting to the rock drake area and i keep dying because of other people trolling the badges should be rewarded like this

if you ask me it seems like the only way to get them is by killing players. or by not dying from other players on the JP. i would like to see a change.

honestly Anet the only ways we get our Badges of honor for our legendarys is by eathor doing the JP or by killing players it would be nice if there was another way to get them like capturing a fort or tower or camp im getting sik and tired of trying to do JP and having to die a lot by people who troll the JP. this is really fustratring and i would like some change please. here is a screneshot of what im talking about

well ill tell you this i have ran with MF since the 3 day head start and atm I’am one of the poorest guys in the guild. but when i switched to no MF i actually got better loot. i dont know how they calculate MF but i was stuck with the idea that ill find better loot by having more MF. and yes for a hile i was hendering the guild and making it hard for everyone. cause i wasnt pulling my weight. now that im running condition damage power and toughness with a supirior rund of nightmare im actully doing most of the killing. i do like your idea

I suggested in another thread a calculation like:

(Your MF) + (All other group-members MF)/GroupSize

A straight up average would penalize the person with the highest MF, and give too much of a bonus to those that don’t care about it either way.

on guild wars 1 there was first person view wasn’t all that good and such but now that i am doing jump puzzles for my monthly I half to say trying to move the camera around to try to find a ledge that’s behind or up in the rong spot leads to the Leap of Fath and so far i have been dying because of a missed jump from a camra issue

Instant res when you fall and die in a jump puzzle instead of having to run back to the JP would be a nice idea. because in Scavenger’s Chasm the jump puzzle that’s there i have fallen down plenty of holes and just so happen to hit the cliff side just right and take damage and the best part is i half to spend monie and a res to the Way point Pagga and run throw the earth elemental and the risen that’s there and also the earth elemental s happen to cripple you so just an idea

im actully in HoD Henge of Denravi and Im a diehard fan of my server thats where i was at beta im staying. but ya i see your point just go to South Setcove (Lost shores) that’s a true ghost town and it feels like every time i go there the npc always rush up to me saying help me or i need your assistance. sorry but i don’t see the point to start a event where there is no one around and try to solo it and waste my monie on WP and Fixing armor. I’m a Mesmer not a Tank.

i do understand your frustration and questions about LvL80 zones. I usto love cursed shore and south suncove (lost shores) but not thier is about not much to do. i remember seeing mobs of people in both areas because the loot was pretty good. and you cant forget that kakra event that took place there. but that is the problem it seems like they put a lot of time and effort into making a huge thing going on but when it ended it ended the wow factor. like in personal story go and defeat the elder dragon then afterwords as stated in dialog we are currently exterminating all risen armys. but there is the problem they keep coming back. what they sould of done is like have a world event of that kakra that keeps comming back (dont give me the ohh hese dead, look at the dragons they come back) but the lost shores after that event really became lost I even ran an hour looting killing and harvasting and saw 3 people there. my guildies and my self were amazed that we found a person. and now that i think of it i the first month i saw some ncsof people and anet people in game. but now i dont see them at all. i just hope they do better in lvl80 areas.

I know the feeling of the Mystic troll. ive been still on the hunt for my precurser if you guys are wondering im shooting for Eternaty. so far i farmed The claw The sunless and the Shatterd. and so far ive only receaved greens. at the momunt i’m runing in the fractls of the mist and im getting a lot better loot than what i did farmming orr for 11 hours. wich begs the question a Champion dragon legendary creature bent on killing the world and all who inabit it good job we killed the dragon here is your loot (all greens and some blues) but go do a jump puzzel i got 1rare and 1 exaudic wtf. jump around get better loot but go do a dragon receave junk?

now the market remember people who have precursers have power in the market because of supply and demand. not much supply and a lot of demand as goes the same for any crafting componut for legendarys

i will say this about precursors I have been out in Cursed Shore farming for Dawn the precursor for Sunrise for 11 hours started my hunt from 4:00pm PST and finally throw in the towel at 3:30am PST. though I did get some teir6 crafting material a decent amount but as stated in wiki that;

I did not receive that drop and I currently have 200% MF and was Running on guild MF boost. I have even spent 50gold to the Mystic forge for LvL75+ Rare Great Swords for a chance for eathor Dawn or Twilight. i would love a scavenger hunt as stated by Linsey Murdock

good question im not to entirly shure. he bacally tld us he submitted a ticket but what im wondering is they say they have evedence but however they didnt give them to him. im really hoping that net see this post and actully has a plan of action. i know they are banning bots but hes not a bot hes a actully real player. and he would never try to manupluate the game. and im not shure how you could scan your system for that type of issue.

thats ok i got hacked from someone in Tokyo Japan but i live in Sandiego and i tryed to not allow the ip it gave me an error code. my question is when you see me playing on my ip and somone logs in from japan is that kindof a big red flag from a hacker?

Yup, my screen went white and then it said I had been disconnected due to bad behavior. I tried to reconnect after that and it said my account had been terminated. I have informed Arenanet that my account has been hacked a little while back, so hopefully they will give me my account back. No response yet though.

Going on 3 days without a response from Arenanet. I am worried that they can’t do anything about my account. When my account was hacked a month or so ago, I sent in a support ticket and they responded to me within 24 hours. Seems that a terminated account takes a bit longer to recover, Arenanet is investigating my claim, or they ignored me entirely. I’m sure they haven’t ignored my ticket, but it sure feels like it. I just received a response from Arenanet about my Terminated Account.
“Hello,

Your Guild Wars 2 account has been for modifying or tampering with the game, which is a breach of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct.

I want you to know that we take great care when analyzing accounts prior to termination. Support staff is both diligent and conservative in determining which accounts are using these programs, and we only terminate an account only after we are able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that such use has occurred."

Apparently I will not get my account back after all. This really upsets me. I have done nothing wrong. I have been a huge fan of Arenanet and the Guild Wars series from the beginning until now. If I could get my account back, I would for sure keep playing Guild Wars 2, but if I can’t get it back I am not going to buy another account and start over again. there is something i would like to state as well i did not include anyone else in the forums in this chat because they want to be anomnous. and also i want to state this i have been hacked as well from someone in Toko Japan and i live In San Diego CA, is that a little bit supisiosu and i got an email from anet saying would you like to allow this IP i said no then it gave me an error message.

I am quite upset, but there’s really nothing I can do now (besides sending in a support ticket). All I can think of is that the hacker that got into my account a while back had modified my game somehow, but I’m not sure. I’m no computer genius so I don’t know how any of that works. Okay, I am glad to hear this. It is taking a while longer for Arenanet to respond, so I was getting worried. I did change both my email and GW2 Account password a couple times since the hacking incident. Both passwords are different and contain random letters and numbers. I hope Arenanet can tell that I’m an honest person and that I am not the hacker. Thank you for giving me a little more information and piece of mind. :smile:

Okay, I just hope to get my account back. If it is indeed gone for good, I’m afraid I’ll probably just quit Guild Wars 2 altogether. I’ve had to start all over once before because my account was hacked and I’m not starting all over again. I have sent them a letter, so I’ll have to wait and see what happens. I told them that I’ve played the Original Guild Wars for 7+ years and have never tampered with the game in any way.

Hello My names Kenage my friend who i know has played Guild wars 1 for a long time and a good friend of mine got banned for tampering with the game I’m posting exactly what he said happened to him and note his account got hacked in November im posting what he told us

well I would imagine that in a update like guild wars 2 factions lol. they will add guild halls like they did in guild wars 1 because guild halls weren’t around until factions came out. but you could be in a guild in the original guild wars. i wouldn’t mind having a guild vs guild but have it scale like in world vs world. i did do a guild vs guild in guild wars and it was not all the fun. but now imagine a full blown war between all guilds. just an idea.

this bug seems to happen before the cut seen where the asclon ghost commander pops up but the npc will not trigger the cut seen or the cut sene triggers and she goes running off to kill a mob and the Asclon group will not spawn forcing the party to redo the hole dungeon over agine arena net this but has happen many time where i feel as though i will not be able to receive my asclon tears.
in this bug we have tryed these tactics but no sucess
-party wipe
-npc killed off
-worping to way point
– talking to npc several times

please fix this bug

I know that the UW (under world) was one of my favorite place in the Guild Wars, you get to fight a god Dhuum. now i have seen portals to the Under World but im wondering if arena net has hade a pan for UW. but my idea is this

-Vistas
-way points
-points of intrust
-Major citys
now i remember that in the game the Underworld is as huge as the Mists it has a lot of difforent places and such why not allow for a hole new world inside the relm of the dead?

ok im a huge Guild Wars fan been that way for over 4 years now. but everyday ive seen the price of Gems climming to hights i never thought possible. the issue is the Gems rum off of of the idea of the stock market. if more people are buying gems then selling the price goes up and if people are selling gems for ingame gold then the price of gems goes down. i remember in the 3 day head start that gems were about 10 silver for 100 gems which at the time i thought it was over priced. just getting 1silver when your only lvl1-lvl10 is not easy especially if you just started the game and half to deal with crash bugs overflow and setting up your guild. sadly the only way i can see the price of gems drop is to sell gems but remember you half to buy gems in order to sell.

now we all know that in Guild Wars 1 there was Guild halls. but i love the idea of having a guild town instance and in the instance and only guild members would be allowed in unless you pay like in Guild Wars1 for a guest invite. now another idea wich i would love seeing is the ability to take like the borderlands map and make that as a guild town now what i mean is like the map size. and you can buy with gold small buildings and player homes for guild members. kind of like mixing the Sims and guild wars 2 together. now i also got to look at arena nets developers team wich their are alredy busy with wintersday and such. they have a lot on their plate at the moment. but the question would be how would you build the town.well herse what i beleave what would work. a basic building set like that of the sims. but also if you could have like a Creation kit like that of skyrim but encorporate that into the game and have a set up like a check box that you can slect who can change the town so that way lets say the oficer of the guild has a great idea for changing a town square and have the officer beable to make that change but ill get into that in a little bit. but take the creation kit and put it into guild wars 2. and lets say that adding a tree costs 20 silver a fountan 1gold a house small 10 gold and such into the creation kit. just an idea
