I was at Amber when we got Worm into Headphaze. Crimson would not go into head phaze so the event ran out of time and expired thous this bugg caused a lot of people to fail a otherwise successful kill.

myth: after you hit 3000 hours of playing guild wars 2 you will reweave a precursor from a drop. that was non mystic forge,

myth: Busted played 2251 hours on mesmer and 3703 hours total. myth way busted

well as the holidays roll around and come around the corn-nor a question has hit my mind will Zommoros feel generous? will he actually up the chance for precursors will he up the chance for rare or exaudic? or will he give a bah-humbug lol.

Honestly i feel the living story is pretty much garbage in all honestly. i feel the living stroy isnt really a “living story” its more of a go here and do stoff. so ill post in bullet points about what is bad of the living story. cause saying what is good isnt going to fix the issues of what is bad. its like saying this car has good gas millage but it stalls out every time you put it in drive.

1. no new maps.
what you guys do is use existing maps and configure then to what the living story tells Nightmare tower Kessics hills secrets of south sun re polishing lost shores.

2. achievement grind
every new living story update that comes in i immediately hit H and figure out what achievement i can get throw and finish quickly. witch one achievements i can take my time on and enjoy (not very many). and what makes me mad is hiding achievement progression under daily so if i miss out in the 2 weeks its available i will not be able to get reward for meta because i missed out on 3 or 4 daily’s. Halloween is a perfect example as you need 13 to get mini and unlock 2 other achievement points. you only have 9 that you can complete.

3. Lore
ok this one may just be for my end but honestly i really don’t want to half to go throw guildwars2.com and look for the lore of what the living story is talking about. also i do not want to read dialog and dialog s of context from various NPC to get an understanding of what is happening. i would much rather be in an instance like with the new living story of the tower of them showing me what is happening and why this is bad.

4. no way to rewind the living story.
this isn’t much of an issue for me but various guild mates keep asking me what happened in last weeks living story Twilight assault going backwards. their is no way they can relive that story and have a further understanding of what is happening in the world of Tyra. because they don’t understand they wont understand what is happening now. and if they cant be able to relive it or be able to play what happened before then why play the game now?

5. once a year holidays (Halloween)
this ties under living story because its a story. but honestly i feel Halloween has fallen flat on their face because of 2 week living story here is a few pointers
1. not being able to repeat shadow of mad king achevement points (pumpkin carving is still there and they haven’t moved them.)
2. ascent into madness
ok yes where is it? i remember fighting the mad king and pushing him back because he was trying to break into Tyra, he broke out of the lions arch fountain for crying out loud!. where did it go? and why did they gave up on it??
3. not being able to get weapon skins from shadow of mad king.

6. dragons?
yes i said it dragons dear lord lol. but as the living story evolves we have no idea what is happening to dragons like jormegh exct. we keep getting these alliances but we are forgetting what is actually on the box art the number 2 that is a dragon people. now tea was a amazing update and really made me realize dragons are creatures that can be, will and should be a threat. a giant structure to me isn’t much of a threat. but however to much of dragon power will make a dead zone (low teir servers because tea dosnt scale down easly) so i don’t expect my Mesmer to destroy tea by himself ( i tried it dosnt work) but some scaling of some sort would be nice.

7. what is happning to Cantha and Elona.
the living story should be talking about what is actually living around the world of tyra not just what is around the content. and i feel their should be more investment into Cantha or elona ( ill even dish out 50-100 dollars now for those contents and expansions.) there is not much to talk about becasue their is not much on this topic from any developers or any develepers that are working on this.

8. temporaty content= temporary players
why go throw the hassle of updating logging in and playing the game if part of the game is only temporary. examples of this issue is the AR dungeon the MF dungeon and weapon that are only available for that living story. and must i forget Super Adventure box.

these are what i find to be Honorable or lacking in the living story and i thank you for reading this post from me. and i hope a dev has read this post and really thought about what i said and how i feel about it i would rather have Elona or cantha expansion that i pay for rather than a “living story sheet”

1. i don’t care much for living world as it has no expansions in it. The only changes the living story makes is to maps that have already been out. Unless you adress a living story like sometimes disturbing the Crystal Desert.
2. roll playing is a little veigh so I’M not sure how to answer that question.
3. for the love of Komier change the looks of Ascended Armor. for ascended armor that will more than likely be time gated component consuming and sometimes frustrating to get to 500 the armor should look remarkable not garbage!

I am really glad to see so many feed back from you guys its amazing but also some of you guys have not put why you want what you want in the game. so saying you want X and not saying why you want X is not really showing you why you would want X. so here is an example of what i mean.

1. i want more dungeons.

1. because the dungeon content is not very diverse there is not much for dungeons other than a few ones that get ran i would love more versatility and be able to spread out the dungeon community.

1. Expansions (these are Cantha, Elona, Blood legin homeland, crystal desert map areas)
2. more Classes and more weapon set for Classes. (postal warriors anyone?)
3. more diverse commander system. (in game polish of commander)
4. Guild diversity (guild rushes bountys and treks are good need more)
5. activity roster for guilds (player X has been offline for 3 months)

why i want these

1. the game needs to grow and expand living story is nice but seems kind of a bit meh to me
2. more classes would be nice always nice to try new things, weapons well I would love to see my warrior rock with a pistol lol
3. the current commander system is more of a go to the blue direto and listen to him. there needs to be more in game tools for commander.
4. the games called Guild Wars 2 for crying out loud there should be a lot more missions for your guild to do.
5. its really hard to try to keep track of people who are inactive my guild thankfully my guild is rather small, but guilds of 400+ my god

i would of said precursor crafting as my number 5, but i would rather not touch that topic lol.

well this question has been on my mind since gifting has become available and i know some of my guildmates whom i have known for a while i would love to be able to gift them charater, bank, and bag expansions, however i don’t want to send them gold and have my account flagged for gold selling. i have a sord of similar post about this fight. what your showing could very well be team B in this fight.

so as i was fighting him i knot-aced or started to knot ace the mechanics involved in fighting tea. this is a idea to try on this very powerful dragon. but this fight consist of 3-4 teams each team needs to have 1 commander. team A B C and if needed D so here is how it’s goes

Team A: team A is on turrents to the east of the map and team A keeps turrets alive on their side and controls enemies that sopwn to try to destroy turrets. at all times you need to keep up turrents you can fix them if destroyed or in general with a Box that spawns on the ground. you will have a new skill it looks like a hammer to hammer turret.

Turrent team A, you have 5 skills that are extremely powerful and very helpful in the fight skill 1 is the skill you will spam along with 2 at Tea, skill 3 is used for poison aoe on team B. and skill 4 and 5 you use when available on team B when using skill 3-5 aim the AoE target on the commander Blue tag.

Turrent team A: if there is a team D you use the same skills as listed above for team D
Commander Team A: you need to watch for any risen approacing and warn your team and quickly dispach them. keep an eye on walls and if walls are up go help take down walls.

Team B. you have a diffocult job you need to keep within Mellie range of Teas head. spam Watter, fire feilds and dark feilds. Watter= condie removal and heal Fire= might stack dark= blind for enimies in range. team B you need to watch for teas animations and the dreaded tital wave. tea will slam his hand down on the ground when he dose that you need to dodge
Commander on team B: keep an eye on Teas fingures ( the odd looking fingure pocking out of the ground). and keep at mellie range of teas head and spam feilds. you should receave buffs from team A and C

Team C: is on turrets to the west of the map and team C keeps turrets alive on their side and controls enemies that spawn to try to destroy turrets. at all times you need to keep up turrets you can fix them if destroyed or in general with a Box that spawns on the ground. you will have a new skill it looks like a hammer to hammer turret.

Team B: you will go and help out in battery Northern and help with megalaser unless there is a team D

Team C: you will go and defend western battery

Team D: you will go to Mega lazer
all teams need to keep an eye on mega lazer and if needed commanders send some of your people to Megalazer. team B will bounce between mega and northern.

Hope this helps Tyra defeat that dreaded sunless and get some sweet sweet loot.

Edit: if you are downed try to target and hit any risen you can and get a really or hope you get resed by a player.
Defeated: you need to WP and run back.

so i loged into the game and ive read up about the Looking For Group tool and was excited but i probably should of read more up on the up comming changes but anyways what i was wondering is how do you actually get the LFG cause mine says Looking For Group (LFG) (BETA) and i actually wanna use this nice ingame program. and also dose anyone know when this ingame tool will be out of beta?

what seemed to happen is that a lot of people bought precursers because of the Ascension upgrade and the stat flip. was announced witch caused a crash on the market. this issue of TP monopoly with precursors was answered by John Smith. and until we are able to craft our precursors the precursors on the market will keep rising. due to supply and demand.

ok myslef what have i done well stay awhile and listen.

My names Kenage Achalarus been playing Guild wars Universe since the times of the Kylo Presearing (guild wars 1 beta) i have always try ed to acheave a “ultimate” goal in gw1 it was GWAMM (god Walking amonst mear mortals) i have never acheaved that title. but i Kept playing Gw1 because of my Guild mates and friends.

and now fast forwarding to Guild wars 2 i have played in the open beta first week my first slection after a long Allience talk we all decided in HoD and i have never transferd out of HoD. my first goal of gw2 was simple but complex. get all the professions and get them to 80. I am still working on that Goal. then Halloween comes out witch was the first Major Event. and i even told my guild mates 50 of them at the time that this was going to be a lot better than Gw1 times. then well mad king came and blew my mind. during Halloween i got word of this new teir of weapons caled “Legendary” and i decided right then and there that i was going to start my “Legendary Grind” i played a mesmer and the only good viable builds were Shattor zerker and imortal mesmer both builds used Great sword. and i looked at them both and even watch videos on both of them Sumrise and Twlight i could not decide on eathor one so i decided i was going to go for both of them. then i Herd about Eternity. and here is what i said i knew about the Exploites i knew about the god skull weapons. I decided and took a Vow that i would “*Earn My Legendary”* a foolish vow indeed. i saw my beloved dawn and dusk around 100g then rewind to december i was still on my goal for a legendary all i had at that time was gift of mettal…. that was it but i clocked in a lot of time just running in cursed shore and doing Dungions on the off time. then we get word about a "precurser Scavenger hunt from lindsey Murdok saying she is working on that.

Rewind to end of Dec a dev commented “dont expect a precurser scavenger hunt in Jan.Feb.March updates” my heart sank dawn was at 400-500g and Dusk was 500g.

Rewind to April i decided to start a forum poast i grabed all comments from the Dev about Precursers this and asked what are you doing? no comment but what i did recaved by a moderator made me mad. the moderator shut me down and said "do not engage in staff callouts its agenst the forum policy. so my guildmates who are awsome calmed me down and hade me on a project one i made up and it was “helping people finish their legendary” i put my Legendary on hold and helped 6 people finish their legendarys legnedary i have helpd make were Kudzu, Twlight, the Dreammor, Incineraror, the Bifrost, and the Moot (moot player is still working on).

so fast forward from April. legendary precursers were still unanswerd. we have hade a lot of temporary content that i knew if i didnt get on them and get the Achevement i will never see it agine so i worked on my legendary as a side job. and still helping players with their legendarys. then i hear news that made me excited crafting to 500 and releasing asended weapons and armor (still working on asending my ax) i decided ill work on my asending itoms manly. then on 8/30/2013 i have started a poast that was answerd by a dev. Dusk sold out 1 left. and what i poasted was about market monopoly how can all of Dusk sold out???? and also as some players commented the Legend sold out as well and what i was hoping on the 500 in crafting was they would release precursor crafting so this Monopoly would end. seems like my answer came……….sordof. at a PAX interview with Colin Johnson he said they are still working on it it will come later this year………………. my thoughts were well at least they answerd i guess. i dont really know if i sould beleave it because of “false Promises with the scavenger hunt” but im not going to complane to much on that topic because this is a issue and they are working on it. now keep in mind people i have NEVER had a single precurser drop for me. not even Vinum droped. but im going to stay positive……. I guess…… and keep playing this game with my guild mates and friends.

Started my legendary hunt/grind/fustration/tears/blood/sweet from october to september that is 10 months and i play everyday. I have Clocked in 3k Hours. so its good to have long term goals but also take my advice earn your legendary dont buy it. Cause whats the point in showing off a “Legendary Bank Account” when pride feels so much better.

ok by having this 1 or more guys working as a team they buy out all the Dusks aka goods. (ya lots of gold) and what happens is that one guy or team of guys have what i call Market Control. because no one has the goods they are able to sell their goods at whatever price they want. lets just say the avrage of what they bought dusk at was 715g. and what this team can do is sell a few of his dusks and under cut them selves bringing down their first asking price of 999G to about last sellor price of 950G and we all know about the listing fea of 5% and agine at 10% when his items sells. and there for causing a “Bargon” to happen witch makes players feel that hay the price is droping to the point where i would buy it at 800g. thank you LHound.8964 for the post about sneaky move. so here is a break down off how they can profit from crashing and monopolizing the market of Gw2.

ok i have just witnessed a serious market crash on the price of dusk. today at 11:58P PST all of dusk has sold out and then 1 dusk has appeared on the market and caused a serious problem. i have just witnessed a market monopoly. how and who and why is this happening. and also when will our beloved crafting to 500 will come out to actually help with this serious market crash imagine all the precursers sold out.

the part that was messing me up the most wich is why i went condi removal was cripple when she crippled me it was pretty much game over because her clones can catch up to me and 1 shot me.

here is a stupid question why cant the NPC res you? NPC can res players Logan and Roxx and brahm all resed me plenty of times.

ok so 500 tickets been doing this fight since the first of this month and temporary content with achevement only “given” to players that have very lucky time and what makes her extramly bad is her 20 seconds cripple witch the clones can catch up to you and kill you in 1 shot. then she has a whip that stacks massive conditions on you. ohh and also what about the events that spown under you geethanks. anyways I am still working on killing her even throw WP res ogres holding up on the run up tho there the minit run to the top the wating in line at the gantlet. ty guys for temporary content. i actually vote for a handie cap that will allow players to give her a handi cap after so many fails/broken armors/ fustration/ lag.

rant over if i get this mini \she will forever be locked up in the bank and shoved in the back forever.

Edit: ok after calming down grabing some mango pies and GS Sword/Focus i finally beat her it hade litrally came down to 1 second litrally she said 3.2.1. on 1 i hit mind wack mes skill F1 right at her face omg finally lol.

I absoulty love your new content with clock work chaos however this has happend to me 5 times now i get disconnected about 1 mint left on timer and because of this i cannot get the reward at the end and also I miss out on the ability to loot monsters I killed before i was disconnected.

Musical instruments are gem store items though, so what you’re suggesting in a roundabout way is a pay-to-win mechanism – You spend real money on a flute, for instance and then other people pay you to play music while you watch a steady stream of gold fill up your wallet.

The only way this idea would be acceptable is if musical instruments were also available for in-game gold, so everyone can take advantage of it.

ok then what about the gems to gold? they alredy have that implemented into the game as well. you can exchange gems for in game gold. and the hole idea is more of a appreciation for the talent you posess. like how people will grab a boom box in New York and dance they get payed by other people enjoying their talent.

and also under Chest options in your Options dialog you can edit what itoms can be enterd into chests there will be a check box so that your chests wont be filled up with white itoms if you want lol

this idea came to me from playing my flute in LA and this idea will help with people mailing you gold for a tip. and can show appersiation to people who tip you. and a special NPC called Music man is in all major citys of Tyra

ok the 100% is a bit much so maybe 5%. or 2%

I find the issue is threefold:
1: even the less well endowed female models have a bust that are large. They tend to range from ok, to silly in some outfits.
2: They seem to randomly grow depending on armor
3: The jiggly mechanics in this game are frankly insane. you could maybe argue that in loose light armor it can make sense (but I would assume they would wear a Bra if they plan on getting into fights). But once you move onto tighter armor, or heavy it just looks painful. If someone’s breasts are moving THAT much in full chainmail there is something wrong O.o

omg LOL. yes i have a human guardian and i actually feel bad for her id amagine that with plate or chain mail would be way more steardy and not “giggley”. and if its giggley amagine that would really hurt how raw they would be…..ouch.

well as the title says i find as a warrior i have 2 options for playing in the PvE environment. 1 signage of rage or war banner. both skills are good but what if we could have this skill

Shout for 15 seconds. Apply[To the Limit] on yourself. grants you full adrinline Frenzy, 5 stack of might swiftness, fury and 100% increased damage.

[To the Limit] for 15 seconds applies 10 stacks of vulnerability and every second enemies do 5% more damage to you. this condition expires in 15 seconds.

hay guys its me Ken and yes i have stopped my precurser grind for my legendary eternity. and since then i have actually almost completed my savarian colture armor and ive been trying to enjoy the game. yes im still chasing the legendary task/RNG/Mystic troll for about humm 10 months yes 10 months October-August. Since then we have finally got word that you can craft your precurser from crafting when they release the update on crafting. so because of the release from anet on the upcomming 2013 I have started a Plan B. getting as much crafting material as possible.

well i was talking in LA today and i came a cross the idea of a new dance book for Gw2. and it is how to dance V2. what you need is the book and it unlocks 3 skills Walts, Salsa, ballroom dance. of coarse in order to do this dance you need to invite a partner of the opposet sex. so here is what i thought

How to dance V2: equip this in your toy slot and use it to unlcok new dance moves.

Skills
Walts: invite target player of the opposet sex to Walts with you. if your partner accepts you both run up to eachother and dance the walts.

Salsa: invite target player of the opposet sex to Salsa with you. if your partner accepts you both run up to eachother and dance the Salsa.

Ballroom: invite slected player to ball room dnace with you. if your partner accepts invitation your partner stands and wates for you to move up to her and you start ballroom dancing.

Big Finish Male: throw your partner up in the air and catch her.
Big finish Female: cuddle up to your partner slowly stop dancing and finish with a romantic kiss.

you are able to invite any race so imagine a male norn dancing the walts with a asuran.

I’m yet to see any (positive) reaction to the slew of topics like these. In fact, as grim as it is, I’ve recently read an interview in which they said making armour for a single race takes too much time and resources so they will continue making fit-all armours for now.

i Hope so man this charr my engi is the 3rd oldest character and even the same character in the beta. i don’t have much love for him because of the armor clipping issue. I was seriously thinking of buying that new armor but the tail….. sorry but ill keep my monies for this time around.

so gw2 is been out for about a year now if you count the beta and i love this game and everything but this minor issue still keeps talking in my ear. as Players know if you have a charr you have tails and claws (go figure its a giant cat) but the problem i keep having is armor issues with tail and claws clipping and even on some armor set ups the armor is stretched. now I know I could buy the Cloture armor and my tail and claw issue is salved but I am not a fan of light and medium armor for the charr. so what i would like to start is maybe a question to a dev team can we see a polish for our dear kitties? please lol.

Even though this is a PVP related question, I’m posting here because it’s directed GW2’s biggest population base (hence this forum) and their interest (or not) in PVP (not including WvW). Currently the PVP population seem pretty small and alot of people in that community are wondering how to get more people in and interesting. Wondering how many of you:

1. Have tried PVP? If not, why?
2. Tried it and liked it or not?
3. Are active PVP players?
4. Done both WvW and PVP: which do you prefer and why?

2. hate PvP because if i go to PvP i cannot make any progress in character lvl or my legendary weapon.
3. I’m about as active in PvP if your counting activity 1 time a month
4. done WvW and PvP profer WvW because I can progress my legendary progress my charater lvl and I can Progress crafting profession.

they have talked about PvE rewards for PvP but i wont hold my breath lol

Thank you for voicing your concerns with the flute.

Again, we apologize for your struggles with this instrument after the latest build. I would like to reconfirm that it was never our intention to negatively impact songs you’ve been previously able to play or with new performances. The scenarios described above regarding extreme difficulty playing the same note back-to-back were not reproducible in-house or reported by play testers, even those with musical talent playing popular songs discussed in many other threads.

That said, there will be a fix for the problem, one that reverts functionality to the way it was before. Additionally, by popular request, the ability to stop the currently playing note will be moved to the ‘0’ key. This fix is currently targeted for release with the next Living World update. Thank you for your patience as we address your concerns.

I’d like to add that we are committed to providing a fun experience with each of the instruments and are always open to healthy, constructive feedback.

thank you cody for the responce i did decide to buy the flute with real world monie because i love the flute and in glad to hear that you guys have found this issue and are adressing it. cant wate to see more insterments.

i think this might be a bug. but yes most if not all of the songs i know are nonplayable. please anet revert the flute back to the glory i hate to think my 10 dollars was wasted

well as we all are voting for the human or the charr i have wonderd what if their was a tie between Captain Ellen Kiel and Captain Evon Gnashblade? what would happen? could we get both the upgrades and both fractals if so then people we need them to tie lol. imagine discounts off BLkeys and WP travel reduction. and 2 fractals. could it be possble? who knows

this is not the fight with komier this is the fight with the 5 gods that throw abbadone into nightfall.

sorry for the miscommunication and a slight misunderstanding i have edit the main post so sorry for the confusion people. what this Discussion is about is a Choice of eater PvP reward chest or a option for PvE reward chest inside the Main Achievement chest, instead of only having a PvP reward Chest.

hello guys its me Kenage now I love how they did the achievement rewards but there is one thing i do not like and that is the PvP reward Chests that come from the Achievement chests. i feel as its a more of a nuisance because I’m a PvE fan. and the Badges of Honor is good but now I’m hitting the fact that I am getting a lot of BoH that I really don’t kneed. what I’m Petitioning is maybe have a option to select a PvP or a PvE reward Chests like More Weapon skins maybe inside the main Achievement chest so here is the formula.

Achievement Chest> once open 2 choices come up PvP reward chest or PvE reward chest. you still get all the other boosters and itoms in the Achievement chest

PvP Reward chest> PvP armor Skins and Weapon skins.
PvE Reward chest> PvE armor skins and Weapon skins.

so Lets keep this Topic civilized and have ideas flowing to the community about this idea. so lets get this topic Karka rolling.

Edit: ok i have read up on posts from you guys and I’m sorry if it seems like i have confused some of you but you still get all the rewards like BoH, Zenith weapon skins, Radiant Mantle Skin, Hellfire Mantle Skin, boosters and WvW Blue prints, the percentage achevement gain. its just when it comes down to the PvP Reward chest inside the Achevement chest you have a choice of selecting eater PvP or PvE.
