when any server scores more than double the ppt of the two other servers combined it is not good for the tier, yes the overall scores are close atm but it doesn’t look like it will get much closer, rather the scores will blow out from here as coverage takes over

This is going to be into day 4 where the scores are still this close. Unheard of before. This tier is balanced.

What I think no one is taking into account beyond transfers is the summer. More players are out and about with more free time. BG with it’s massive server population combined with the summer still is kicking it strong with the coverage and quite frankly I still think they will prob win this matchup.

What’s comical is that despite BG’s “Massive” population its still poor old Waha carrying the weight of his server on his shoulders. Gotta take my hat off to the guy, anyone who works so hard PvD’ing every day like that just to see it all wasted away when he log’s off deserves a medal.

Before IRON, BG was the only server with EU with RK and HB, just fyi. For almost 4-5 months, if not longer.

You didn’t hear any of the whining from any other server that BG is putting up now.

Back then the SoR South American population was huge. Time difference between EU and the South Amaricans is just 2-3 hours. I still remember fighting 60+ LUN in EU prime.

Also we´ve been fighting EU guilds on both IoJ and SBI. VoTF were on NA servers for months and were a great challenge.

Besides we ( the EU guilds on BG ) are glad that more EU guilds are joining the NA servers. We are just not happy about them not joining the only server in a matchup without EU coverage. We want 3 way fights as we get in NA prime.

Also if you read one of my former replies you would know that Ive told BG not to recruit more EU guilds for BG, and that I would leave BG should it happen.

Last I want to congratulate you on beeing a somewhat succesfull troll. Its been years since I played that game, but you are doing a descent job at catching a few fools.

Everyone on JQ knows what happened. The people who stayed behind held a meeting with everyone on TS when Raw didnt show up for the second time and explained it to us. Trying to discredit anyone on JQ in this way simply doesn’t work.

I can honestly say. The lag for me is not that bad. When two large zerg’s clash you will always get lag, it’s unavoidable is it only certain servers that get lag then? Because dragonbrand is very stable. If you are having so much trouble on your server maybe try a server that has more stability. On Dragonbrand I experience very little lag.

Is that supposed to bother me? I play GW2 to have fun, I’ll stay on JQ as long as they put as much effort into WvW as I do. If they just stop trying I will leave. When I log on I get in TS, I run siege, I will stay in a tower for ages just to keep a look out, I’ll stay in a tower building siege for hours while others are out collecting bags and having fun.

But I dont have some misguided allegiance to a server because of internets honor. Who gives a kitten ? I will give my all to JQ and EMP because they are worth giving my time to. If EMP turned into a PvE guild I would leave. I wouldn’t think twice. Just as I would expect to be kicked from the guild If I didnt make any effort.

So yeah sure I jumped on the bandwagon and im having a blast.

Blackgate would try hard for one week and then take a break for 2 weeks. Its not a secret. Any honest BG player will tell you the same. Not every BG player though. There are a few good guilds on BG that try hard all the time, iCoa being one of the hardest working guilds I ever played with. There are a few hard working guilds. But when I left BG the server felt like a PvX server. That was my opinion. I always thought BG could do better and they proved that with a T1 win. But trying hard now and then is’nt really my style or my mentality.

There are individuals that put far more effort into WvW than I do. Hveps of RUIN is a hero on BG. And does more for the server in WvW than most others.

This is just my opinion and in the grand scope of things it doesnt matter at all. My fellow forum warriors opinions are all just as insignificant as mine. The people that really matter are the likes of Rawnoodles, Waha Foo, Indo, the late great Archaos. And so on. Those are the people that hold servers together with their leadership, ambition and energy the rest of us are just footsoldiers.

Breaking news. Rawnoodles posts on forums: TW Hilarity and shenanigans commence.

Talk as much kitten as you like, The score tells a different story. JQ and EMP are here for the marathon not the sprint. Same story unfolds every day, you guys go ahead and watch every map burn just to ‘try’ and get +1 on a single Tower or Garrison. Beacause the only way you can ever achive anything is to throw all your numbers at it. Its not a secret, you know it your opponents know it and everyone who looks at the score knows it.

/laugh emote only makes you win in your head. Look at which server is #1 NA and learn form them. Spend some time to study their tactics, find out why JQ is winning almost every week and try to counter those tactics. Maybe get someone to make a rousing speech and add some dramatic background music to disguise the trembling in their voice. Above all though just try to have fun.

There is no point venting your frustrations on the forums. Talk is cheap, prove everyone wrong and win Tier 1. Show everyone who’s boss!

JQ has real quality leadership, community and players they can talk the talk but can also walk the walk.

And hey! If you have had enough of cheap talk and poor results hop on over and join the gang. Theres rarely a queue on JQ servers and we are a friendly bunch once you get to know us.

The only class I would not really recommend for WvW in the current meta is Engineer. Don’t take it personally. They don’t really offer whjat other classes do for roaming or zerg fight situations in their current form.

Ok, so if this is what the majority of JQ feels, then I know where you stand.

I like good fights as in something that can and does fight back and may even come close to or does beat me. Thats what I call fun. Thats what I call a fight.

And of course I play to win the fight, I guess I should’ve asked, do you more care about winning the overall match, or the battles. Screw overall because that’s just a coverage game on who has more people in a 24/hour time frame.

A few people on the forum is not a majority. Are you also implying that nobody gives JQ a good fight? I get plenty of good fights the small slaughter’s in between are just a loot bag bonus. The ‘good fights’ we get between JQ-SoR-BG usually happen around NA prime everything between is what it is.

You’re obviously mad about getting rolled over by large zergs, all I can say is welcome to WvW, it happens no matter what server you are on. Win or lose WvW is all about big numbers. Fights are fun, winning is the cherry on the cake.

But what I love most about my server is the community. JQ is just a great place to be.

Planetside 2, a game that is actually the best modern RvR game out there (despite being an MMOFPS), has account-bound progression.

Ranks, experience and ability points are awarded by account. Points are then spent by character (actually on abilities/weapons, most of which are class-specific).

If it happens, it will be very strange to see character-bound WvW progression in such an innovative game as GW2. It’s something you see in last generation MMO’s.

And if it does show up, it will undermine my confidence in the WvW design team.

This isn’t something a Dev can program around. They need real living breathing humans moderating the game. It’s the only solution that can fix this quickly.

It is definaitly something a dev can programme around. Built siege could have a tag attached with the name of the person that placed the siege. Whilst a 10 minute despawn would be great. It doesn’t stop supplies being drained.
And I would rather see dev’s working on more constructive projects than dealing with small minded fools who’s biggest triumph in life is to spoil other gamers enjoyment and blacken a servers reputation as deserved winners.

Whatever the solution, the first and best course of action is to perma ban this low life.

Well I think the best course of action from ArenaNet would be to give commanders the option to sell back their tag. I bought a tag to try my hand at commanding. I found out that I dont like it and am not very good at it. I think alot of people just want to try it and then get bored quickly. Its stressful and you need to completely change the way you play. You have to think for the Zerg and think about yourself at the same time.

I think its really funny too, JQ BL Garrison last night was under siege from BG and SoR from all sides by 30 + On each side. We defended THE LORDS ROOM for 4 hours.

Did you see a flood of JQ players come in here with their tin foil hats on crying like children? No I think everyone on JQ that were there can say they had a blast defening against 2 servers. I know i did. Eventually SoR took the Garrison and kudo’s they fought hard.

Most people play this game to have fun and everyone automatically goes to where the most fun is, last night it was JQ BL garrison. Tomorrow it might be SoR garrison, or Stonemist or maybe BG Garrison.
There’s no conspiracy, you are not “speshal” and BG is not the juggernaut you think it is.

I have no doubt JQ will continue to dominate Tier 1 for the foreseeable future. And I would like to tell you why. I had been on ‘Beastgate’ for a while and witnessed first-hand the sad and unbelievably arrogant elitist attitude of some of the so called big guilds on that server. You could go hours on EBG without a commander then as soon as someone tries to lead a zerg someone would flame the commander until they switch their pin off.
Even better than that a couple of the larger guilds are so elitist they run around with their commander insisting pugs stay away from them. (Won’t mention names everyone on EB knows who you are) Add to that the constant bickering and general lack of teamwork and you have a fragmented and broken server that really does not belong in T1.

I have been on JQ for 2 weeks now and the first thing I noticed is that it is more of a community than a server. JQ realises the importance of their Militia, they value teamwork and respect each other I rarely see drama in chat but always see constructive intel.

I play Gw2 to have fun and since leaving Blackgate I’ve had plenty of it.
