We could always celebrate the end of what has been a great matchup by having a having a mass brawl at the start of the jp (provided everyone has a keep), say 30 minutes before the reset.

Additionally, if anyone is looking for a server that plays for the full week of the matchup, not just the first 2 days then throws in the towel, I suggest you try out TC. We don’t give up, and will turn up each and every day, regardless of what the scoreboard says. We may not be winning our tier currently, but we will be pushing the enemy servers and giving 110% regardless of being red, blue or green.

As one of TV’s WvW commanders I can indicate that our guild maintains a strong presence in EB and we would be keen to hear from new applicants who enjoy WvWvW!

I’m really looking forward to this match up. TC have fought BG a fair few times recently, they have the wood on us and we know what to expect. Kaineng are either a T1 or T2 server for sure, we will have to wait and see.

The times when TC and Kaineng have good fights might be a bit limited because of the different coverage our servers have but when we both have decent coverage I am sure the fights will be a lot of fun.

We’re a few hours into reset and our numbers in EB started dropping yet my guild, TV, still has members waiting over an hour and a half to get in. I checked the jump puzzle and there were 2 players in it. I asked everyone on the server to press “1” to do a head count and about 35 responded (of course not everyone did press “1” who was on but I think the majority did). I think TC has a lot more casual gamers than some of the hard core wvw servers, so we get more players coming in and out of wvw.

We think (but don’t know for sure) that when players quit the game and don’t go back to a pve map that they are counted as still being in wvw. Whatever the problem is it is making the game not fun and turning players away.

There is a serious flaw here somewhere and it needs to be fixed.

There is no doubt in my mind there is a serious flaw. Sometimes after queing to get into EB I enter to find a map seemingly devoid of a full population. When I’ve checked the jump puzzle there might be a few in there but nothing to match the disparity of waiting to get in and the lack of players actually on the map.

There really is a problem here.

As someone who plays BG, I do NOT want to fight Sanctum of Rall or Henge of Denravi. People on that server just kitten me off. Dumb stuff like building a ton of siege in the jump game. Or having squads of theives jump you outside your base. Just stuff that pisses me off.

Then add to your list TC, JQ, SoS, CD, FA, IoJ… Well you got the idea… All servers do that, BG included…

We do and it is hilarious. Camping the jump puzzle is a pool of joy that just keeps giving. You can’t put a price on an activity that produces so many tears of laughter, especially when SoR send in their zerg, complete with golems, to wipe you out. Good times!

As for the thread topic – anyone who is a roughly even fight.

However this pans out it will be interesting!

As an Oceanic time zone player and commander in EB I can assure anyone thinking of making a move to what is a truly fantastic server that a regular zerg of 30 or so players during Oceanic, Asian and European time zones who like to roll as a team could wreak havoc. All you would need to bring is your support build and popcorn.

On the current scores SoR aren’t going anywhere (it is still pretty early in the matchup though). Looks like we well might be fighting for some time to come.

We had a mesmer inside all night. Same as last week. He follows SoR in when you guys take it at the start. Hides. Patiently. For hours.

Oh cool, good to know. I mean is that the same Mesmer we caught starting a portal @ the south SM and trying to jump up the flat side wall?

Also you guys will need to teach us! That must be one VERY sneaky Mesmer to get through the only inner gate we had down when first taking SM, that was surrounded by siege and players preventing people from getting in and hiding for 3 hours before this happened.

Upload away. You got outplayed (well nearly) and you’ve been told how. There’s no glitching going on here from TV, I can assure you.

Camping the jump puzzle with a few friends and massacaring pve’rs is a much better way to get badges than actually completing the jump puzzle. Getting 50 kills a day in the jump puzzle should be a daily.

I’m from SoS and decided to log into SBI on my frnds char… loving watching 5 people go from fort to fort with 1 golem from SoR capping all of EB so cute, Tier 2.

Are you sure that’s not actually your account you use to map watch on when SBI were in your tier?

Try around GMT +0 noon, which if you are in the Philippines is GMT +8 (8pm).

SoR is probably going to have one more week from the next reset to get into T1 anytime soon. The next matchup is looking like the same servers. If they don’t seriously put the boot into SBI to get the point spread next matchup it’s likely they are going to drop a lot of points the week after when Maguuma hit T2 and then again the following week when Kaineng come to the party. Whether TC are still inT2 at the point remains to be seen.
