To the SPCA and XOXO members fighting in front of your spawn in HoD’s BL right now: We hope you’re having as much fun and as many laughs as we are from this. xD
I wouldn’t be surprised if it were…they’re part of HoD’s alliance that I tend to call the “answer everything with a zerg” alliance. Forego strategy for larger numbers. Now, if it were VLK or GT or LK you were fighting, I’m not so sure though “noble few” would have persisted.
Fighting HoD is like Night of the Living Dead. Outmanned, we noble NSP few defended Aldons against wave after wave for at least 25 minutes. Like zombies, HoD doesn’t seem to value their lives much. They just toss bodies into our keep’s mortor range, stand on AoE, leave walls alone. I think their philosophy was to tire out our fingers by giving us so many downed players to finish off. I musta killed 40+. Bags EVERYWHERE. Red arrows covering the ground outside Aldons. But they just kept coming, running back to die at the gate. Again and again. Wave after wave. Good times. Eventually the tower fell, but man was it fun. Exactly like a good zombie flick.

Oh, no, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE fighting NSP. I’m a little sad that TCMM transferred, but at least I can still fight them on GoM. I used to play Aion with Ronny Raygun, so it’s fun to see how my guild compares. xD I also really like fighting Os and TFG…there haven’t been many other NSP guilds that stick out to me. Aside from the Quebec ones, who, while not intimidating, I will kill on sight.

Join one of the lower tier servers. The zergs are smaller and there is more small group action to be had as opposed to the constant zergballs in the higher tiers.
Also, if you’re a cute east asian girl then come play with us on HoD. We only run small man groups. (3p-6p) If you’re not a cute east asian girl then… well I guess you can come play with us too, but I wont flirt with you nor take you on romantic walks on the beaches of the Cursed Shore. Well I most likely wont, but sometimes I like to have a drink and weird things happen. :|
You’re quite the interesting personality, Aza. Quite. Also, my girlfrann is southeast Asian, and if that counts towards you desires, I implore you to control yourself in her presence.
That being said, there are a lot of small-man guilds that run around on HoD doing their own thing. I know that my own guild, Valkyria Immortalis, prefers to run around as a guild group, whether it’s 5 or 10, and just wipe zergs twice our size. We don’t tend to run around with the masses as its a lot less entertaining and a lot less strategic for us.
Things we do:
Hold Ogrewatch against NSP with only 5~8 people for 4 hours on reset night.
Last night we went into NSP’s bl because EB was getting too zergy and just attacked hills to provoke them so we could wipe them
Take Durios while other servers hold SM. For the lolz.
Well, if we’re speaking in accordance to T8, I think any of the current T7 competitors would just absolutely demolish it. SF are the only real threat in that tier, and they were easily beat out by HoD even when we had a very low population compared to them. They seem to boast a lot about how they deserve HoD’s spot in our tier, but for some reason no one’s managed to push us down yet.

I’m just wondering whether you’re confusing the two female charr eles in GT or my guildmate already has a rep.
Protip: The ele that has been around for months will be the best looking character of all time (so I would not wear a mask) with the golden title. Also, you will almost never see me with consumable buffs.

Actually, they threw this huge fit because my guild and I were taking a tower and apparently we only play for points and “what have points ever gotten us?” It was pretty funny, considering the only reason we were capping that tower was so we could provoke more NSP zergs to come at us for more kills, and that’s all the PAXA people were saying they were there for. They were bragging about how they go 4v10 and kitten everyone and how they get 4x our kills every day, etc etc. Considering my guild and I are pretty well known among our server for wiping zergs twice, thrice our size, their huge egos made me chuckle.
Despite all the stuff revolving around PAXA, from what I’ve seen they don’t seem half bad and they are pretty solid at PvP

But nah, I’m not generalizing based on stigma right now. They transferred here, that’s okay, blah blah, I’m sure they have some civilized and skilled people, but the two I’m dealing with right now are really giving the guild a bad image.

EDIT: Okay, I just cleared the level and got the achievement…it seems you actually have to complete the zone in order to get it. It won’t pop up once you get that last bauble.

It starts a new stack in your inventory, yes, but in game you cannot carry more than 250. That makes it so that if you get any past that they will not actually be given to you.
I currently have, Pointy Stick, Slingshot, Bombs, Whip, Candle, Purse Upgrade, Health Upgrade, Potions, and Moto’s Breath. Which brings me to 6/7 upgrades. I was at 4/7 when I was missing only Moto’s Breath and the Purse Upgrade, so clearly either some items don’t count or are bugged.
I’m trying to understand all the kittening about HoD’s transfers and I still can’t. HoD has been obscenely outnumbered for the longest time, probably about 3:1 population wise. If these transfers have done anything for us, it hasn’t been to propel our server population to way above either GoM or NSP’s but helped equalize it.

Because it was fun as all hell to kill the three of you almost single-handedly by out-playing you all. Also got me some mad respect from the other people present.
From what I can tell, one is the packed version (you double click to get the skin + level 0 statless back strap), and one is just the skin (unpacked, they used the strap for nefarious deeds).
This is rather unclear to me. So one has two backpacks in it (a level 0 statless back AND a skin) or just a level 0 backpack with the skin on top of it?

If you check the other thread in the crafting forums, it has been confirmed that it is both in th eloot tables and that it is also an open world. This debunks the theories that it’s a rare dungeon boss or that it’s in Zhaitan’s Rest.
For all the GoM complaining about being hit by both servers at once, we’re just trying to maintain second place. The only way we can do that is by focusing on GoM while DH just steamrolls the both of us. It’s nothing personal. We love you guys.

DH does have more people and will probably win again this week, but there’s no need to make their job easier. Take the fight to them and look at the scoreboard only after the dust settles.

Our guild daily goes and does these jumping puzzles together and all ways let people do their own thing, However today we came into the puzzle and GoM had 2 arrowcarts and a ballist set up in the entrance room killing people, this went on for awhile. So our guild set up a treb in the room and killed all your siege, soon after you call for a truce.

Considering that I’m from HoD, and that I was literally a little bit away from the chest, right towards the end of the puzzle, just doing my own thing when an ele comes up and starts attacking me out of nowhere, you should be able to understand why I’m a little offended. I could understand the priors, I mean I got grouped into this huge fight unintentionally about 5 minutes earlier in the sort of arena part with the mobs, which sucked, but I dealt with it. Just kind of sucked to walk by you guys thinking it would be okay only to get assaulted not 30 seconds afterward, especially when I caused no harm to anyone and only retaliated when attacked…sadly there’s only so much I can do when I’m outnumbered like that.
EDIT: That also explains the random ballistae I saw doing the JP…was wondering who built those.

Hmm… I’d go off the track I see this going in, and say the racial legendaries should be end game quest items. To provide some examples… With the humans, the blade Rytlock uses (I forget the name, begins with an S), the lore has it that it is the twin of another blade (same skin basically, ignore the HoM one that only some get). So that could be an option. For Norn, it could be the bow of the female hero who opposed the sons of svanir (can you tell I suck at names yet?). You get the idea really.

Think about this logically. Why would you get banned for doing something you are perfectly allowed to do? If we weren’t allowed to craft rares to salvage for ectos, then those rares wouldn’t be able to give ectoplasms in the first place.
