The thing about precursors that most people don’t realize is that they’re regular exotics. Anywhere an exotic can drop, a precursors can drop. The person might have been trolling you, they might not; but, precursors can and do drop anywhere in the world. Even a mob in Queensdale.

Looking at both Eir and at Braham, Eir was, more likely than not, very young when she had the child. Now, shows like sixteen and pregnant aside, a parent at that age very rarely will decide to keep the child and will do their best to make sure that that child is in the best care possible. If both Eir and Braham’s father reached that decision together, then everything Eir’s done, as well as keeping it hidden, is completely logical. Also, the fact that no one in Hoelbrak knows is completely possible; the Norn are an adventurous people, and if Eir had disappeared for a bit on some sort of venture, no one would think twice, would they? The thing is, we know very little about Eir’s personal history. Her choice to give up Braham may not have been the best for her emotionally but it was the best choice for him, at the time. Furthermore, the reluctance that she displays is completely logical; it’s hard to enter someone’s life that you should have known the entirety of it, especially when you see that they’re so far progressed and able to make their own decisions. It’s a pretty common story, adopted children finding their birth parents and having difficulty assimilating themselves into their parents lives because by now, they’ve become different people.

And, who’s to say that part of Eir’s introverted personality doesn’t come from this? or the fact that she raised Garm as a form of longing for the motherhood she should have had? There are a lot of factors to this that simply aren’t accounted for, but I by no means think that it’s a plot-hole.

Also, I never meant to imply that she was different from humans in terms of her maternal instincts. The quotation marks were simple for the fact that we call them human emotions but Eir is not, in fact, a human.

So, before you come in here and accuse my server of not only butting but of botting in zerg, why don’t you provide some proof? ESPECIALLY if you can call out that they’re a 20-man zerg. What were your thought processes? “OMG LOOK THEY’RE BOTTING LET’S GO ON THE FORUMS AND QQ OH HEY WAIT WHAT’S A SCREENSHOT kitten ”

So, because Eir is actually, you know, “human,” and makes mistakes like the rest of us, she isn’t worthy of your praise anymore? kitten happens. People do stupid things. Look at Logan; he was a worthless mercenary before becoming who he is now, always living in his brother’s shadow. Rytlock had his issues as well, just as much before as well as after the events of Edge of Destiny. Zojja lost her master, the one person in the world she looked up to and revered, the one person who could keep her under control. I’d say the only one without super duper complexities is Caithe, and that’s because her race is so young, but even she has her issues with her beloved falling to Nightmare. Don’t try and tell me that the members of Destiny’s Edge are perfect people, because they aren’t. If anything, I like Eir even more now. Makes her seem much less of a kitten, and the fact that none of the DE members know about her having a son meant that she was ashamed enough of it happening, that she knew it was a mistake she made when she was young and haughty, that she never spoke of it.

Ascended weapons are coming in the future. We have no idea when, or how they’ll be obtained, but they are coming.

Also, how does crafting a feast take crystals? Learning the recipe, yes, but after that you craft it from your table.

Also, for everyone complaining that neither Sunrise or Twilight count for the Legendary badge on your front page; It’s a BUG. It’s not intentional.

Hi HoD/ET/FC I am a member of a very small guild who run a solid 3-4-5 man team. We are considering transferring to T8, and were wondering if if we could get some information about the tier. Like zerg sizes, different server peak coverage times, annoying players on servers we should be aware of things like that. Thanks, and maybe we’ll see you on the field soon.

HoD isn’t the best server to ask. We havent been in T8 very long. However, as far as zerg sizes go, it really depends. FC has one hell of a zerg running around. One of the largest i’ve ever seen and this isn’t my first rodeo. Other than that, A zerg is a zerg, there are more than 15 people running around on a commander tag usually.

As far as coverage, all of these servers seem to have pretty crappy night coverage.

HoD definately has a better morning/early afternoon showing than FC or ET.

Annoying players. Well, im not going to shout out a bunch of peoples names on the forums. But every server has their trolls/idiots. HoD is no exception.

Luckily for you many of them transferred to GoM not to long ago!

Hi, thanks for the reply. If we transfer to T8, we’ll probably end up on the server that needs the most help. I know were a small guild and wont make too much of a difference. That being said, I have a commander tag, and have enjoyed commanding for a couple of months now. So if there is a T8 server that has a shortage of commanders, that would be a consideration also. Thanks again for the info.

I’d say guest to each and hang around for PvE, talk to a few people actually in the game and see what it’s like. I’d tell you to come to HoD, but that’s just me. For the most part, it’s a pretty even matchup. HoD isn’t significantly more populated than either server. FC actually runs bigger zergs than we do, from what I’ve seen…ET might be the one most needing of help.

I’ve been trying to get my girlfriend Dawn, since she’s getting closer to Sunrise…so, you know, it’d be appreciated.

Charity case aside, things like that is why I don’t play the market.

I don’t think Flappy’s actually bragging about taking the keep. I’d say good job to someone who successfully hid a mesmer inside and was able to portal people in, because mesmer sweeps are very standard and getting one to stay inside is actually pretty difficult when the server you’re playing against does a proper sweep.

77/180 is my clover attempts for my second set, using mostly the 10 recipe. I got good results. A 33% chance is a 33% chance, your losses just seem larger with the 10 when realistically they aren’t.

I also got 38 bloods and 35 dust on two tries lol

You’ll see BS from ET and SS/Yarr from FC. None of us really do “roaming” during reset night. Kinda why we were ninjaing towers and keeps last night.

We’re pretty much the same way…but VLK was happy to see ET/FC’s server pop because we knew it wouldn’t be like SF where if there’s one, there are 20 more. I’m looking forward to meeting some of you on the battlefield~ look forward to dying to a Sylvari ranger with Kudzu. <3

Most games don’t even offer the option to change the look of your armor. It’s purely cosmetic…if you think your character is ugly the way they are, shell out the money or the gold for transmutation stones…they’re pretty cheap, lol.

They didn’t fight us back very easily until we hit garrison, and then we got called back to our BL to help…if Ferg is focusing you guys, that has nothing to do with us. :P We just split our guilds up among borderlands/EB to get and hold as much as we can.

So, I was running around with 15 supply from a camp that my guild has claimed. I killed a yak and it gave me a wooden chest, and as I looted it it reduced my 15 supply down to 10.

We aren’t, not really. xD We field no more than 20 people on a good night (which is why it seems like we’re zergy) but we don’t have that many people. And no, we don’t run in zergs, for the most part. We just run together. So you’ll see anywhere from 5 to 20 of us. xD

Anet has said that they were working on PvE culling fixes, but also that WvW takes priority…which makes sense, since it’s a lot more important to see fellow players and enemy players in WvW than it is in PvE, especially since mobs don’t get culled out very often and it’s mostly NPCs or players. The fix will come, soon enough.

Something I just thought that I figure would be a good point to make:

There are people here saying that if they did this then OMG PEOPLE WOULD ONLY FARM INSTANCES AND NO ONE WOULD BUY. This is completely wrong; I mean, look at Berserker gear and how much it sells for. I got a few zerker GS from the forge the other day and they sold in minutes, whereas I didn’t pay a dime for my Berserker gear because I farmed it in CoF/CoE and made money in the process. Some people will always take the easy way out and buy it, some people will farm it as much as they can. Besides, if it’s priced accordingly (a full stack for a core, as someone said in reply to my earlier post, sounds fair) you help dip the market a tiny bit by not SIGNIFICANTLY increasing supply, but just enough to make lodestones manageable.

That aside, TA first boss and CoF farm runs would still be more effective for their respective lodestones just because your return would be that much greater for the token price. People might run the other paths once again for an additional lodestone every couple days…which doesn’t seem like a huge dip to me.

Overall, I think it’s a good idea but I also don’t think it’s one Anet would rush to implement.

I love scouting for my guild as a Ranger, I bring my sPvP build to WvW when I scout and whenever Thieves think I’ll be a easy kill they soon find out that it’ll cost them a repair bill.

I generally go for Rangers who are targeting me as one of my priorities because he has large range and fast attacks so while I’m busy with melee he’s getting tons of free DPS, plus pets are annoying.

That said, if I’m playing thief, other thieves are my first targets.

Third, sure, let’s randomize server. Take the bottom of T8 and randomize them against the first server in T1. That’ll be fun for everyone, I’m sure!

Barrage could definitely use the golden spears/flower trails treatment.

A golden aura to stylized to match the dryad accents the around the player would rock, too (The other Legends have fresh auras, why not Kudzu?)

The flower fall particles off the bow could arguably also be a little more prominent.

It also puzzles me that if other players can hear Bolt/Dreamer/Quip/Predator’s sounds, why can’t they hear Kudzu’s birdsong effects?

I can confirm that they DO hear the birdsong. A lot of my friends say “Iverna’s here” before my model even culls in just because of the birds.

it was temporary free transfers to med pop servers, AFAIK. But, we’ll see. I think with the loss of [WvW], we’ll fall back down to high pop. The lower price gem transfer might be attractive to some.

Okay so let me get this straight.

During HoD/GoM/NSP matchup, a [WvW] zombieland commander transferred to GoM to coordinate that shameful double team which kitten off all 3 servers.
GoM was then sent to tier 8 pretty much immediately after ronny transferred there (Coincidence?)

Since then we encountered a new, infinite foe (SF). Whom we all struggled against.
NS kitten till fighting them the best we can.
HoD commanders (not all obviously, noble few do what they can) are telling their players to not play WvW until SF goes away.

But before SF moves up a tier. HoD will drop to t8 and GoM will come back to t7 (wb).

But what is this? The same guild that was so ferocious during the initial matchup, is the guild telling their players not to play in WvW until SF moves up? The same guild that jumped ship to GoM right before they are moving up a tier? The same guild who’s infamous tactics of " ATTACK NSP AT ALL COSTS" has led their server to demise.

Here is my prediction.
Zombieland transfers just as the rest of GoM does all the hard work to get back to t7, while at the same time telling their* server not to play the game (perhaps a planned drop)
The combined forces will then proceed to attack NSP with their tiny kitten.

Hey it might pay off and see you to t6, but way to kitten poor HoD over.

For the most part, we’re glad to see them go,.
