Considering that we were getting titles for just about everything before, I think they didn’t want to overwhelm players with them and have to make people pick and choose out of a valuable pool (I, for example, have difficulty picking a title for my ranger…Champion Hunter shows my accomplishments, but Distinction in Applied Jumping displays my adoration for JPs.)

How am I trolling?

I NEED a green one. Haven’t had much of a chance to play.

So I’m not going to type out some long, detailed post about how awesome the SAB is in general, or how much fun Tribulation mode is, but I just want to make at least one thread to offset all the QQ that’s been hitting these forums lately.

Tribulation mode is, for me, and quite a few of my guildies, a LOT of fun. We’re the types of people who challenge ourselves every day in the game, fighting against zergs twice our size in WvW or going against people we know we repeatedly lose against…not to mention most of us have played IWBTG or Syobon Action and enjoyed them. And world 1, at the very least, wasn’t very difficult overall.

As for world 2, I haven’t completed zone 3 just yet but I’ve found that the other two were sufficiently difficult (those waterfall logs in Rapids, god kitten !) and very enjoyable; definitely remind me of some good old-fashioned games I played as a kid. Donkey Kong Country, eugh.

So, despite what everyone says, it isn’t obscenely difficult and sufficiently challenging and very fun, so good job and well down. Looking forward ot even MORE difficulty (and thus even more tears from the tryhards who aren’t trying hard enough) for the last two worlds

Much respect to VLK for the GvG’s. The portals had me thrown off the first two matches, definitely gave us something to contemplate. And CoSa for bringing a golem to spectate….that was a definite first.

Anywho…good games. I personally was impressed with the impromptu practice match after. Letting the new guys and gals (to GvG) hop in and test their sand was pretty cool.

xD It was a lot of fun for us, too, and we took it as a learning experience…We don’t really care about losing, as long as we enjoyed ourselves (hence why we wanted to continue even after the official match was over.) The portal idea was definitely a good one, but just didn’t work for the amount of boons that you guys had going for you. :P Props to Bllades for thinking that up.

How do we know the Order of Whispers isn’t aware of her background? All we know is they haven’t acted yet . . . which can be handled with two reasons (mutually exclusive):

- If the Living Story happens after the Personal Story, then the Order is probably working on establishing the next easy target among the dragons and expending effort in that direction. They probably were not watching someone who did not appear to be an immediate threat. Of course, by now there’s probably up to a dozen agents putting pieces together.

- If the Living Story happens concurrently with the Personal Story, the Order might be . . . slightly busy currently.

We know that Scarlet’s training, at least for the most part, was prior to the personal story; at the part of the short story where she breaks into the records for the Inquest, it mentions the Snaff Prize which is your first personal story mission as an Asura.

We can also assume th eliving story takes part AFTER the living story, as the Dragon Bash also celebrates to some extent the defeat of Zhaitan, and Eir’s position in Hoelbrak during the Molten Alliance LS is much better than her standing during the start of your personal story.

So between the start and the end of your personal, you’d think they noticed. :P

Not to belittle Wulf’s video, but if you’re going to try and brag/gloat at least post a video of us actually doing something. We’ve had fun fights, terrible defeats, and great victories on the battlefield since we moved. We’ve made great progress from what we were on GoM, but we’ve still got a long way to go. There’s the fact no matter what you posted it would simply be discounted by those here.

It’s not a bad video. The OP isn’t claiming to show off skill in the video or brag about accomplishments. It’s simply a montage video to show a little pride for the guild.

The problem is, the audience that would appreciate it isn’t in this matchup thread. ZL chose to leave GoM. Coming back to post stuff like that will likely be construed as “trying to rub it in our faces” regardless of the OP’s actual intentions. Deserved or not, don’t be surprised if actions like that are met with at least some small measure of hostility and ridicule.

AR might not have massive zergs now, but once upon a time not a few months ago they did. Much bigger than anything HoD could muster right now.

Like I’ve said, our numbers are far from being worth of T5.

Darkhaven, SBI and Kaineng are the servers that would occupy T5 right now, all servers that massively outzerg us by a long shot; we just got out of a week against Kain, trust me, I know.

VLK DOES usually do small-man roaming. We’ve had a much higher participation this week simply because most of us were around and fighting the good fight when we were against GoM for the longest time, so we have a special relationship with them.

Anyways, doesn’t matter what I say, you’re just going to insist otherwise.

Let me clear some things up, Bllade.

Our pugs stick to our commander because we are teaching them better group play. Here on lower servers small groups and roamers may be what you do, but in the higher tiers its not like that. A havoc group consists of probably what your zerg consists of. I’m sure you know this though since you’ve said you’ve played many servers. We don’t know when we will be in higher ranks again and gain numbers again (for higher ranks numbers I mean) but basically we want to be ready. We didn’t lack in roaming, we lacked in group coordination. Therefore this is something we are working on in Kaineng. Like not have 10 of us stray off to chase one person around the map. Being outnumbered and lacking coverage is something we are use to, obviously not so much against you guys, but many others its common for us. We have 3 dedicated WvW guilds with over 30 members on this server. Actually not sure if BMS even has 30 members. Everyone else left Kaineng, because they could not get to T1 from T8 liked they originally came to Kaineng wanting to do. Since they all mass left our server, being outnumbered was something we became accustomed to. We have lots of roamers on this server who love a good 1v1, I’m sorry you have not been able to run into them The people who skip out on a 1v1 may be people who are running to their group and have learned to focus on objective not sit there and 1v1 unless its off hours. Or they are not built for an appropriate 1v1. I know on my staff ele, I avoid 1v1 since I’m purely support built. As again, because group comp and coordination is a big thing Kaineng is currently working on. Yes, we know there are many things we have to work on. If you have been on any server that gained numbers massively and then lost them massively not once but three times you would understand the mentality of wanting to improve the server as a whole with the pugs and the FEW loyal guilds. Sure compared to your numbers we zerg, to others of higher populations we are lacking in numbers. We didn’t choose on this match up and we are not gonna rolls less numbers to make it more fair either. Also this Kaineng your fighting is the T8 population minus some other T8 guilds who left too. We were very accustomed to being outnumbered with our ever lasting matchup with DR and FC. Then being stuck in the higher ranks/tier when everyone left at the same time. Right now Kaineng is more united then ever with the want to improve ourselves in all aspects. I’m sorry your not enjoying yourself with us. We know Kaineng tends to zerg when certain commanders come on, people can’t help their selves but to group on that commander. This is something we are trying to work on, to get more smaller groups running as well. Which is why my guild specifically does not tag up as much as we use to. Perhaps we will run into each other again in a match up, and hopefully Kaineng will be better with this (: At least we are not kitten talking all over the place, like most servers who outnumbers others.

Second of all, this post seems sort of ragey in response to what, mostly, was a compliment. I don’t know if that’s what you intended but that’s how it comes off, a sort of “shut the kitten up you don’t know what you’re talking about” type of tone.

Third of all, if this is your T8 population…Well, it’s less than SF was but it’s more than both FC and ET have. Which means it’s actually pretty impressive as far as lower tiers go.

Fourth, roaming is a huge part of what HoD is used to as well as a huge part of what we do as a server. We get it, for you guys a “roam” group is 15 or whatever, but you’re fighting against a server who sends groups of less than 5 consistently to take camps. You’re talking to a server who has 3-man capped keeps. It’s natural, in light of that, to understand why we feel so outnumbered and, also, why we feel that you have no roam groups. What you consider to be roaming is VASTLY different from what we consider roaming.

Fifth, I don’t want to hear you say jack kitten about being outnumbered. I’ve been on HoD since day one. You know nothing.

I tried to convince PAXA to move to FC a few times they would have a ton more fun, AR might also be a good choice now.

Get your dirty mitts off of our PAXA! HoD loves our small team play and every HoDer in the BLs who either has had PAXA jump in and aid their fight or watched them do their thing knows they are an HoD asset.

So, no idea if this is intentional or not, but,

I’ve noticed since the patch that your loot on the side of the screen disappears MUCH slower than it did before, and individually. This can be especially frustrating at the end of instances that provide chests, such as CoF, but mostly in the trials…once you’re done, if you’ve just looted a bag, you’re stuck waiting an extra minute or two fo the broken lockpicks to disappear before you can hit the leave instance button.
