Unfortunately no there are no more free server transfers. Im curious, what is your prime playtime? GoM is a NA server which is why im asking. If you play generally prime NA times i think you might be a good fit for Forbidden. :P

From what ive been told (by guild members that had not yet transferred) is no they are not able to see the circles on the guild trek. They are not able to activate the npc for the guild bounty and im not sure if they get the rewards or not. Not sure about Rush as we only recently started doing them

Oh? Well then. Ill have to try that. All the members we have that were guesting though said they were unable to see the locations for the guild trek (when running to them looking for the gold ring to interact with) or activate the guild bounty.

Who is Forbidden?

Forbidden is a group of online gamers; friends that are so close we are more like family. We joke, play and generally have a good time. We take our commitment to the family seriously however, and show each other respect and honesty. We make the best of every day we have together.

We are aiming for a casual gaming atmosphere with a bit of the hardcore values and attitude. Focusing primarily on PvE, WvW and crafting, we also have plans to dabble in sPvP and RP aspects as well. We really want to completely immerse ourselves in the world around us with our most trusted friends by our side.

We put in the effort to be the best we can be in all aspects of gameplay but we do so respectfully. We strongly believe that you can be the best as something without belittleing those that you beat. Competition can be healthy and fun too!

Forbidden History

Forbidden was founded in March of 2011 by a couple very much in love; of whom had met on an online game and traveled great distance to be together. Myself and my now husband Kayla formed Forbidden in hopes of making a guild that the game we played had never seen. A Guild based on friendship, respect, family, and an overall common goal of enjoyment of the game we played.

Forbidden started out in Red Stone; a low population 2.5d MMORPG. We quickly grew to be one of the most powerful guilds in the game. Upon being founded we quickly rose through the ranks and became one of only 4 guilds in competition for the one and only level 5 guild hall in the game. Our guild’s organizational methods and rank system had been foreign to the community of Red Stone. We sought out a very special kind of gamer to welcome into our family.

Forbidden’s time in Red Stone has passed (though some of us do occasionally still play from time to time) and we have set our sights on making our home in Tyria.

Why Forbidden?

Forbidden was a guild founded on the morals of respect and trust. We are friends first and foremost; a group of helpful and like-minded individuals that just enjoy playing together. We are active, social and laid back. We want to explore all Guild Wars 2 has to offer together, learning and growing together as a Family in beautiful Tyria.

What do we Expect?

~Forbidden recruitment is based on an application process. Please be sure to completely fill out your application using the application template provided.

~Forbidden is an English speaking guild. All communication will be in English. Please be sure you are able to fluently speak/type/understand English before applying.

~Respect is a huge part of what it means to be one of The Forbidden. Show it, know it, live it. Whether with our guild mates or other members of the Guild Wars 2 community, follow the golden rule. Treat others how you want to be treated. Trolls are not welcome.

~Maturity is something we seek while looking for new Forbidden members; however we believe that maturity is not limited by age. With this in mind, we do not have a strict age limit in place while recruiting. Strong language may be a common occurrence. You have been warned.

~Forbidden is an exclusive guild. Should you choose to be one of The Forbidden, please remain loyal. We are aware that Guild Wars 2 allows for people to multi guild, however we choose to remain exclusive to maintain the family like atmosphere.

~Forbidden has chosen only to recruit on our home world Yak’s Bend. If you are accepted please be prepared to play on our server.

~If you are accepted into Forbidden, you will be expected to be active in it. Join us on our guild forums, Teamspeak channel, and in game. Be social with the other members; as we all look forward to enjoying your company!

Actually alot of the PvE content and perks of being in a guild at all are dependent on you being on the same server as your guild is. Members on other servers cannot participate in guild missions, none of thier influence counts toward the server that the guild is located on and none of the upgrades the guild has will affect you. Not to mention you cant even see the guilds storage if you are on another server.

Guesting is great for the occasional dungeon, world boss or DE. But long term most guilds will want you to transfer.

I just think they need to fix the bug that your locked in combat well after being out of it. That would be fine for me.

I have to agree. I have also noticed in situations where we are getting ready to get into a pretty big fight in a dungeon and one of the guildies asks if anyone needs some food. Everyone says yes please and he can only send 2 mail before he is suppressed for excessive messaging and has to wait like 5 min to be able to send the next 2. I get why the mail system is restricted like it is, to cut down on the possibility of spam mails. However it has always confused me why there is no system to trade things between people.

I guess they are trying to FORCE you into using the TP? But the TP is really a money sink. Maybe thats why.

But yes i do believe a secure form of transaction between players would be great.

Im sorry to hear about your thing with the guy that scammed you That wouldnt have happened if you had been able to do a safe transaction all in one and not just thier word that obviously meant nothing.

This part made me laugh. If you dont want to use the gear to help increase your drops then stop complaining about your drops? 0,o

I also agree with this. And slightly off topic but i also think it would be cool to have customizable dye color presets too. If you find a few color combinations you like that you want to be able to switch between quickly and easily. :P

I dont know about your idea but i definitely agree that many more helms/hats would look better if it didnt completely get rid of your hair when you put it on. I, most of the time wont even show hats/helms because i hate that it makes me bald underneath.

I understand its much easier for the coding for it to happen this way but in a game based so much on aesthetics it sure would be nice if i could keep my hair under my helm/hat

I dont understand why skill affects are so annoying for you. Are they annoying in normal gameplay? Is someone literally harassing you with them when you are trying to do a jumping puzzle? Ill agree the random swiftness while im in the middle of making a difficult jump can definitely throw me off my game, however there are other parts of most puzzles that are a bit easier if you have a speed boost to help you along.

And as its been stated already many people suck at jumping puzzles. And where im a very strong believer in working for what you have it sure is nice to be able to get a hand to the end of the puzzle by a kind mesmer every once in a while rather than bashing my head against it for hours getting more and more frustrated to the point of not even wanting to ever go back to finish it.

I strongly feel that skills should not be removed when doing jumping puzzles.

Had a guildie the other night mention he would love to have a /pet command on his ranger so he could stop and pet his pet. Would be nice to have more roleplay or fun emotes to go along with the classes we have currently. A bard would definitely be cool

I turned my sound off a long time ago for this reason. Its kinda sad cuz i wish i could hear some things like people playing the unbreakable bell or horn and some of the npc dialog but the ones that bother me the most are the ones my character says all the time. “For Great Justice!” “I could outrun a centaur!” “Might makes me right!”

Ill put in my two cents here too. I agree as i really like the town clothes looks and would love to be able to put those on my regular armor. It would also give more armor skins for people to mix and match as they wanted to make their look that much more unique.

Also as its been stated if its for the immersion then consider that the starting outfit for human females is not much more “armor” like than the town clothes top and skirt. I dont see how any immersion would be lost in allowing us to transmute those looks onto our armor as well.

I agree. if they were account bound i probably would have purchased them myself, but i have such a hard time picking a “main” that i didnt want to spend the money to purchase them if i knew i was just gonna pick another character to play later anyway.

Please make them account bound so i can buy a set too! :P
