Fixing Fear me with shorter CD?
Sure, I and most of us wouldn’t mind if fears in general broke upon taking 10-20% total damage.
It should be used as a defensive tool, not a slaughter tool. Give players a way to fight back.
This should go with any CC ability where you lose control of your character. ie Moa.

Biggest issue this game faces and should of realized when they did class balance before launch was/is Condition damage.
Let me explain, your 1-5 key is a very small % of overall damage unless ur built to burst ie some thieves/warriors.
Warriors ONLY issue is being viable @ removing/reducing Condition damage with given traits. They are the only class to lack in this department.
Most classes have these mechanics or abilities instilled. Again, warriors do not. Because they don’t, these warrior would rather choose the most optimal DPS output/mobilty. /fact
Warriors have plenty of immunity and escape mechanism and when played right can get in and out of a hot situations. Conditions in this game is over the top. Each time you die, look at the damage you sustained before you die. Yes usually is Fire/bleeds as the top 2. Welcome to GW2.
Now that we’ve narrowed the problem. It’s an easy fix. At least it is in my eyes.
The truth: All the classes need help.
Warriors need a few tweaks to get them up to par. There are some really good Warriors out there. So no, it’s not completely broken. On the other hand, Mesmers do need to be tone down/adjusted. /fact
Lets not just focus on 1 class or even 2. Every class need some love, especially on more viable weapons & builds. Which I believe they stated before.
Far to much QQ on these forums with Necros/Warriors. THEY ALREADY know… best way to deliver the message is give ideas to the team. But lets do this for every class. My gawd, GW2 isn’t evolving around Warrios or Necros.

Still continues – Ehmery Bay. Can we get some assistance Anet? This is a rather HUGE bug.
Basically, Any passive abilities you have when entering a PvP Match that has already started is disabled/Off until you die or swap the skills out then in manually.
If it’s been mention before, I’m mentioning it again. Sorry.
Easy fix with Thieves is programming a 3 second reveal AFTER the thief has come off of stealth.

I’ll put in some valid input.
I play both Thief and Guardian. Rank 50 with divided time on both.
Playing a S/D thief has made killing bunkers/Run Regen Rangers/Elementals a breeze.. its not even funny.
Now Playing my Guardian(I feel I’m one of the better few). I usually have no issues 1v1 or in group fights. But for the most part it’s been close matches on other experience players. Coming across a WELL played S/D thief… I have no kitten chance. I don’t run a shout build or boon build either. Heavy Meditation 2h hybrid, never bunker. It’s not me QQ over the fact that I’m losing or being defeated by a skilled S/D thief.. its the fact that i have no way to counter said thief, None! WHY.. its that built-in Evade mechanic and the fact that he spins behind me forcing me to work twice as hard to even attack, then miss!
The problem is… yes thieves are severely broken and OP against most classes.
To many built-in IWIN mechanics. Ports/Cleansing/Stealing boons/Evading, this is the funny part… on 2 keys!. To fix this. Remove alot of the built-in mechanics like Evading which honestly needs to be removed for any class to have a chance, You are essentially giving most thieves full attack mode with perma-evade because it can be spammed, run away a few secons while ini Recharges, back in the fight.
Thieves as it would seem. Are ruining the PvP experience by a large margin for many people. People see thieves(skilled) in most PvP matches, they instant leave to a non-thief pvp match. It’s the truth. This class needs some serious work and overhaul. If it’s not the stealth/attack/stealth mechanic QQ its the S/D QQ. Something has to give…
I don’t play Thief often because I’d prefer a challenge and play a class that seems more balance that can be enjoyed far greater then a what Thieves in general have to offer.

Few intelligent changes.
- Receiving EXP in PvP as we do in WvW.
- Performing abilities while jumping/in air
- Give us more options to change stat allocation. (Health Pools on some classes are poor, ie Thieves who can’t benifit from the same amulet that a Elementalist can) Really puts lower HP classes in a pigeon hole when it comes to choosing Amulets.
While You’re at it. Make some adjustments where there are “Players” actively playing and there are “Viewers” just specating.
Entering a room with 16/20 in hopes that someone is spectating gets pretty redundant time and time again.
It’s honestly not hard at all.
Passive 262(tooltip read) healing affect is not working when I have it traited with Absolute Resolution. Receiving 130ish instead. Bug?
While i would agree that pvp needs more ways to use glory, I cannot agree with spending glory for rank, especially at a 1:1 ratio…like you said, people have millions.
Alright so not to a 1:1 ratio. However the players that have millions of glory just either want ways to dump their glory, or want a way to use it usefully in sPvP. As well they are rank 50+ I would imagine. So at higher ranks (the vendors) it can cost more glory to purchase rank points.
At r50 say, 150k glory for 50-75k rank points. So basically a 2:1 ratio. And do the same for lower ranks.
no. rank points should never be purchasable. pay to win? no thanks. this would completely negate the purpose of rank and make it even more of a joke than it is now.

First of All, I don’t think you have a clue about the discussion at hand here. You can not purchase Glory…. so what are you talking about it being a joke?
Glory is only earned PvPing. At the moment, there is little we can buy and Glory Points is just piling up. Why not use the EARNED Glory Points to purchase towards the Current Rank.
1:1 Ratio is fine. Nobody has Millions, that I guarantee. If they did They are Rank 60 by then each rank is at 150,000 per level, yes fun? What people don’t realize. Each Rank Tier expands far drastically as it progress. ie, Rank 19-38s reacquires 7500 for each Level where as 39-48 require 45000.
Until you understand the current state of the Rank System and how Glory is acquired, your input is invalid.
I believe the Devs realize this is becoming an issue and a boredom for many. We need more options, more incentive…. GIVE US SOMETHING worth our time then what we have atm.
Whole heartily agree that we should have more options to obtain Rank in a quicker pace ie: Purchasing Rank with Glory Points.
There also needs to be more options of items/accessories. At the current state, its a Grind fest. The amount of Glory we accumulate each match is a very tiny fraction towards our rank. Talk about ball busting Anet.
-Monthys and Dailies should give us a % of our current rank as Glory towards are Rank.
-Offer more Glory per match as Rank progresses.
-Glory Boosters do NOTHING for our Rank Progression – could be fixed.
-Give us other ways to obtain Rank?

Pet Roaming needs a fix.
Pets critting me for 2k with 2800 armor is wtfbad

All the D/D Tank builds that were YES… extremely OP when played right are QQing. This is a ScreenShot worth taking.
Those Tanky/burst builds finally got some “balance” put into them. No more chasing a Elementalist every single fight he isn’t winning.

Few things I’ve noticed.
Guardian: An instance where my Signet Passives were not working during sPvP. I had to change the ability to something else and reacquire the signet for it to become Active.
Sigils with +10 on kill: Hit a few sPvP where neither weapons were benefiting from it after a kill during the entire match.
Last but not least-
Laurels: Did not receive 1 during a daily completion. (Totally aware you can get only 1 from either PvP or PvE). Nothing on the Patch Notes states that it was changed.

If it’s supposedly such a problem in PvP, then split the skills. That way they are killable in PvP and unkillable (like before the patch) in PvE.
Why does PvE always have to suffer where PvP gets involved?
Or was it because of Fractals because we had an extra absorption bubble that may or may not block projectiles when you need it to? Highly unlikely…
My Spirit Guardian was the reason I got GW2 in the first place. I was nowhere near OP and had to work really hard to get my ‘build’ to work properly (in PvE). And now Jon ‘Warrior’ Peters comes along and apparently flips the ArenaNerf button on Spirit Weapons for no apparent reason.
What I simply want to know is WHY. And that is probably what everyone else wants to know as well. What was so kittened unbalanced that caused them to do a complete 180 on how Spirit Weapons have worked since launch and made them from barely viable (if traited heavily and sacrificing a lot in terms of utility) to completely and utterly useless (along with all their related traits).
That’s what I’d like to know.
You are Mistaken. SW were nerfed solely because of PvE. This time it was the opposite. Can thank Fractals for that.
Out of the Thousands of complaints to have traits fixed, and .5% complained about SW were too dramatically “OP” in PvP they foresaw this nerf to take precedence. Where is the logic to this madness I wonder?
Before the Nerf, SW were immune to dmg and were still mediacore now your trying to analyse the fact that my propse changes are asking abit much? It’s quiet laughable to hear.
Point is, SW shouldn’t be 3 shotted as they are now, if you wish to remove there pets single target them would be a strategic choice if they are a threat. Let’s not forget… these SW are not permanent, it was RARELY used in sPvP and tPvP and this is while they were IMMUNE.

Easy solution for this madness. As stated before with all the help many of the classes need such as -Zeal- needing a overall(Severely now with this SW nerf), with the amount of massive community feed back on it as well. They go on and do this. I know I speak for a good majority of the community of players here… I am very concerned for the direction they are going with this game…very.
Now if this change is to stay… SW should have the same amount of Health + Armor as the caster WITH 90% passive AoE chance to miss and honestly this should play in effect for the Majority of Pets of other classes as well. It’s been proven to work on other AAA Title MMO’s… To me – It Just Makes Sense
Adding more items such as Armor or Accessories to help make up for the lack of survivability of the Guardian is NOT the answer. Guardians need a visit by the devs and really think on some solid changes, LIKE maybe having a bigger health Pool just as warriors do. It -Just- makes sense. Why they didn’t is really hard to understand.
And of course Armor Value shouldn’t have a diminishing return, cause frankly as it is; it’s a very very terrible stat that needs to be Truly looked into. We gain so much more with other stats, point for point.
Scepter is in no way good. If we were to compare with the other classes, we are the ONLY class to have the WEAKEST form of Range attacks.
So yes, this needs to be hopefully looked into further. My thoughts, Faster Orb speed is a must. Anything else would be a welcomed change.
As D/D burst build, I use a trick that works 80% of the time. Shoot them with your bow as if you’re really trying, put some pressure on him, when he beats you enough to warrant using your healing spell/invis do it and shortbow him while in stealth(this would get him snared) He’ll think you’re about to burst him down he’ll should Mistform to be safe. Once Mistform is down… it’s easy peasy. Switch D/D and do your backstab thing. It’s one tactic I like to use with sucess.
Honestly, It’s Mistform that keeps me from obliterating these Ele each time I encounter them.
If this has been brought up, I’ll bring it up again.
Getting CC during Bladestorm has happened to me several times. Not sure if it’s due to server lag, glitch or what have you. I was MOA’d twice and stun by the same mesmer in 1 match.
Thought Bladestorm was to be our stability, what is up with it breaking?
