Still no dev response? Come on!!!
I love this game! It’s amazing.
Play it.
I just have to applaud the Anet team for this awesome experience. The whole mini dungeon/puzzle is just great, from the jumping, to the portals, to the little turkey trapped inside a small test tube, to the sweet end fight, I just loved it all…
I haven’t done fractals yet due to the connection issues, but if the fights in there are like the endfight of Vexas Lab I have entertainment for years to come already…and to think, that mini dungeon came out as additional content! Oh man, this team just HAS IT imo.
Look forward to doing fractals and the content to come.
I would love 2H axes, along with an in melee option for engineers.
…and I’d love some real scythes for necromancers, 2H melee option.
Would anyone else be psyched if this came to pass? I would.
Just wanted to throw this out there. Grats to gw2 and the team at ArenaNet, you’ve made an amazing game and plenty of people love it and can’t wait to see what happens in the future.
I loved the random boss names of GW1, and it’d be sweet in GW2 instead of champion mobs being called “Champion Grawl Warrior” some other name like “Bonegrash the Unrivaled” or something like that.
I am also happy.

Alright so usually I’m all good, but today, when pressing a key, say “1” it takes my 1 weapon ability maybe .5 a second or second to activate…this has never happened before. It’s not just during large events like shatterer but in small remote areas too. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
Just started today for some achievement points, but found out I was getting none. Great minigame though, very addicting and fun.
I’d have to say that my favorite dynamic event hands down is the Claw of Jormag. Anet really outdid themselves here. The multiple phases are great and how the other dragon fights should be. The crash landing is also simply outstanding. This event truly shines when there are around 10-20 people, it gets INSANE.
So, what are others favorite Dynamic Events out there?
Lol….they have said they have a way to give all who participated a chest in the mail within a week or two. Dev tracker is your friend.
1. August 25th, 2012.
2. 298 hours.

11. I think…uhhh zero? Do the onyx cores count? Not big on legendaries, only cool looking mystic forge exotics.
12. I do craft. No 400 crafter yet.
13. No. I keep all of them.
14. Yes I do.
15. Grouping.
Well, if they made challenging content that would take people a while to complete, you know what those people would do?
“Too hard! Boss is OP. I’ve tried it five times and lost, this game sucks, I’m leaving.” etc….
I’d be all for harder content to complete.
8/10 on the lost shores event, 9/10 on the game.
lots of fun ArenaNet, keep it going
Loved the event ArenaNet, great job. The only issue I truly saw was the lag. For me it was FPS, no skill related lag.
But yeah, amazing job, bring on more of these.
I am excited. They said they’re only adding a ring and backpiece in this update. Not much of a grind if you ask me.

I too am very, very excited.
As title; I read somewhere that it will, but I’m hoping it meant only for the event, and after that, no more scaling.
I wasn’t there, but didn’t GW1 have easier dungeons in the beginning also? And then dungeons/missions got progressively hard throughout the course of the games life?
Lol, I had no idea about invisible bags, thanks for that
I still think this is a nice idea though, maybe.
I think a cool thing that you could do in your inventory/hero panel is lock items. Press a button to lock it, making it so you cannot see it while vendoring items, so that you don’t accidently sell it, and then another button to unlock it.
Thoughts?
As titile; asuras feet and ears stick out of all types of armor. Hoods and helmets being the most annoying…it doesn’t look right at all. And toes sticking out of boots? Uh uh. It seems asuras large ears were never taken into consideration…and I really want to get the Chains of flame helm, but with my thiefs ears sticking out of it..
<SEEMS TO BE MOSTLY MEDIUM ARMOR>
As title. I have not found any armor that covers my asuras ears. I love the race, but hate the ears. Dev response please? I mean, its not like hoods have ear slits in them…

In the podcast, Colin said a new type of dungeon would be added where as you move through it, it gets progressively harder and harder, but with better and better rewards. He also said the new zone would be there to stay, and the one time event would change all of Tyria, just like the Lions Arch Lion statue is now gone…or something like that. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
edit: the dungeon is in this zone. He also said they’re working on more ENDGAME CONTENT as we speak. He didn’t even deny the working of 10 person “dungeons”
:D
Thanks for the video, missed it by about 20 minutes.
First of all, love the game ArenaNet, you did a great job with it, and it truly looks like you will keep it up.
Secondly…about Dungeons. Spamming map chat to get another for a dungeon sucks. It makes you feel like a child and is boring. Waittttiiing forever for someone to be like…ah alright I’ll send em a whisper.
This could be solved.
Now ArenaNet said they used things, good things from other games, and rid of the bad things. Well one thing they forgot was a LFM Tool. In the game I played previous to this (Dungeons and Dragons Online) there was a UI window that would pop up through the clicking of a button. It was named the “LFM Panel”. On the lfm panel, you could see many other groups – someone may have posted for a raid, or a quest, high level, low level, doesn’t matter. On the panel you could see and do these things:
-You could create your own LFM group, posting what quest you wanted to do, the difficulty, the type of classes you wanted, the level range, and a small box where you could add any additional information of your own. You could also set a max size to the group if you wanted less than the actual party/raid party range. Also, when scrolling over the groups you could see the characters in the group, their levels, and class.
Alright, so let us say you’ve made a LFM group by selecting all of the said above items.
Ascalanion Catacombs, Story Mode, LF Any Class, 30-40 ; first time, please be patient.
Now you wait as people look at your group and press the Join button. Once someone tries to join your group, you recieve a message: So and So has requested to join your party. <His level and class> Accept – Decline. Now you may now accept or decline him, and if you accept him, he joins your party and you can begin to chat about your future endeavor.
I personally disagree with the whole idea of a auto dungeon finder, I believe this idea is much better as it allows the players to make the decision of who they’re playing with.
Thanks for reading, hope to see some nice comments below.
