yesterday i found my third skin. all between 20-28 as i dont have motivations to go ahead with the actual contents.
the only skin i can use on my char is focus while i dont use the other cause i dont want to have alts. i salvaged one, got one orichalcum if i remember right… now i wait if something will be changed about it.
anet knows that if skins will be easy get no one will run fractal as often, skins are used to save time time for more contente i hope.
but again if you read wiki notes it seems that elementals work as well.
“any summoned pet” can easily means that it works with mesmer illusions, we just need someone to test it, im lazy.
crafted sunrise on 18/02 and got the ap progress. no medal after months of game tho, just a lot of “be sure that if you have a legendary you’ll have your medal”.

its not a big problem if he misunderstood that precursor is different than legendary, but at least dont try to correct me. or perhaps you are right and he just dont like to call it the legend. if i read again his post im for the first option.
i dont like necro pets, id give it a try if you replace them with rabbits.
game has a lot of professions, if you dont like purple and butterflies leave mesmer to the ones that like them and roll a warrior, i dont expect anet will replace necro pets with rabbits to let me play it.
skill 2 is useless against an average player. its not bad against a bad one as you spam confusion faster but well, you usually dont go down against a bad player.
in a group fight i also dislike it.

if you check this thread, you’ll see a dev saying they had a potential fix for it. perhaps i have a different idea of what “soon” means, but heck this is an OLD bug… every patch they release im wondering why they dont care about those well knows – and i think not so hard to fix- bugs.
1. mesmer. all i did while leveling was funny, enjoyable and easy.
i dont love alts as i like to have a single, perfect char and i would wear everything with legendaries, t3 or whatever luxury item. but, i must admit engineer and elementalist would be my second and third choice.
perhaps he’s an endless 100b warrior. cant move, cant think, just able to hit or get downed if mob doesnt die before him. or it can be a skilled guy after a long day of work… who knows?
some teams simply dont work. if you did well in other runs this can be the reason. i cant give you guardian tricks as i dont play it but most of the time you gain a good teammate and lose a ragequitter.

as usual with this threads, this can be common knowledge and i can be the last player in the game that discovered this trick. however, i fell to post it.
so, you have two weapons equipped. one is legendary. you draw it and swap weapon. from inventory, double click to equip another weapon. this new weapon should have the aura of the legendary you have equipped. if you double click the other weapon from inventory, the wave of colors (sunrise here, dont know about others) will appear.
it wont change your game, but think about two whisperblade with the purple aura of quip or something like that, you can do cool combinations even if you only want to do some screens!
mesmer IS purple and butterflies, hope anet wont listen you
you can always change dyes or skins, i see a lot of purple dyes+mist weapons mesmer. i wear abyss/silver/gold and i really like it.
back to the op, a glass sound when shatter would be amazing. the visual effect is fine for me tho.
why dont we create a thread when guys that need attentions and some welldonebro can post their legendary?

man use the brain, ethereal field doesnt mean glamour. chaos storm is a glamour too? no.
it SEEMS a glamour, dome/colors/support for team… the point is that there are a lot of traits about this kind of utility that would make time warp a “log out or get killed in half a second” skill.
sorry if i speak about exotics even if you aim for legendary but gs+skin is too appealing for me.
first of all i dont like vision of the mist at all. amazing effect but the greatsword is silly.
volcanus is awesome but the shape (hope its the right term) isnt so good for me.
same for destroyer, corrupted and the fractal skin. especially the last one is way too big while the 1h model is nice. foefire’s essence is the best exotic skin if you ask me.
legendaries: first i wanted to craft twilight for the same reasons… fits better with purple beam etc. then i changed my mind and crafted sunrise. im in love with it! looks wonderful with white/gold dyes and also with black/gold. i use abyss/dust/gold and its really nice. the main reason i didnt want to craft twilight anymore is for the red “galaxy” parts. i think its nice even with white dyes tho, maybe with black cherry parts.
cause it would be more op than the current time warp. absolutely op.
BUT, its already op so why not? mesmers need to dominate everything, we also have a traits line for that.
it isnt a glamour skill, cant answer to the second question (id say no) but if that trait would affect it, it would be a bug.
perhaps you are confused because its an ethereal field like most of glamours?
i can tell you what happened to me: after some tries with rares (costs wasnt the actual one i spent a bit more) i tried exotics. 12 breath of flame and got dawn back.
of course the name of the exotics doesnt matter, they was just cheap.
i sold it and then i spent 60g of rares. nothing. 20g in exotics and got dusk.
anyway, theres a guy in the “post your legendary progress” that recorded his tries and found the colossus from 4 rares. i wouldnt try it, but i think if you dont have a lot of money to try rares are more affordable.
it would be really interesting to see if both dawn and dusk share the percent of other legendaries (for example they have 0.01%) or if they have 0.005+0.005.

other than that, i only found dagger. i play mesmer and dont like alts so its absolutely useless. mechanic is so lame, i wont go further till they change it (30+ currently).
add new relica for 20+ or 30+, use pristines, the normal ones… mf recipes… do whatever you want but give players a good chance to have the skin they want or at least that they can use.

today i crafted mine, i must say that theres no need to post here or link mats on map. of course you are free to do it but dont be nervous if people dont reply with “gz!!1!”
works with every boon, why you would remove one minute protection, regeneration and swiftness in the dredge fractal when you can steal it? also, if they improve the disenchante ai it can we have more and more options to remove boons and at the same time gain something. mind stab provides nothing but a weird damage.
no one is saying that you cant use it, but you really have at least one skill that works better in that situation..: this is what i feel at least.
in few words it isnt a good skill.
you can use it in some situation yes, however it really hasnt a place in an awesome skillset as the gs one.
a minor buff would make it more usefull without being op. big radius (would be awesome if 3 swords would appear instead of one), blast finisher, a random condition (would love weakness), +25% dmg if target has cripple.
dunno there are a lot of things that would make this skill more useful… also something special for the twilight/sunrise/eternity owners would be appreciated.
id really like the option to hide footsteps from legendaries tbh.
speaking about eternity, what about dividing the sword in two parts with an horizontal line (golden maybe?) – half twilight and half sunrise.
i tried x4 exotics recipe TONS of time. not a single rare.

eternity is a legendary weapon. precursor is an exotic one. different rarity, feel free to explain how 4 legendaries weapon would create an exotic weapon.
perhaps do you gain a rare from 4 exotics? no.

either you cant afford a legendary or you crafted one not for the skin but for vanity. ill craft sunrise soon, i dont care if its too common or whatever: i love it.

as ashadow told you, the best way is to craft frostfang and sell it.
then, decide if you want to buy the predator from tp or just craft it for yourself. id go for the second.
legendary armor for sure, even if i admit skins play a big role its the “great task” that involves me. maybe with legendary dyes that can only be applied to those armors. woah.
in few words i love to wear my char with an awesome equipment, if i have fun while i do it then its just perfect.
no, i just found dusk with a 80g investment: 50g with rares (100+ gs) and 30g with exotics (12~).
as a friend of mine stated, rares already have a small percent to find exotic, you can imagine the rate of precursors. exotics may be expensive but they worked for me, 2 times with few tries.
so my point is that they didnt nerfed it, i only had a BIG luck and you didnt. this is how this stupid system works, nerf or not nerf.
hello. the best choice you can do is try mistic forge with 50g.
if you aim for legendary and you want to play the forge, you cant go in bankrupt. the first time i tried the forge i found dawn when i was almost naked. the best advice i can give you is: dont waste all your funds in a row.
also rares didnt work for me so id say go for exotics, they worked 2 times with me.
this would be extremely cool, i dont like phantasm to have the same appearance of the mesmer.
think about duelist wearing the van helsing outfit, id really play pistol more often!
i mean, a different weapon is quite a little to consider it an illusion a berserker, a warlock, a rogue or whatever.

so i have more than 100g profit if i sell it at 600g? this sounds good as i farm skill points easily with an alt and make ac tokens with the main. a 30~ golds listing fee isnt a problem.
if its correct (be patient if i misunderstood), im still wondering why a player would buy the gs at 600 when he can easily craft it. this is my main doubt, if you tell me that there are those players ill have all my ideas cleared.
hi, i would like to know if foefire’s essence is actually being sold for its sell price (600+ golds atm) or the only way to sell this weapon is to meet the highest offer.

i wonder how a support can reply in this way when there are tons of player with the same problem with different routers and living in different countries.
this is a really, really bad support for a problem that seems to be 4 months old.
this problem is just annoying and i think anet will lose several players due to this stupid error code. when tons of players face the same issue from every corner in the world (italy here and not the only tho) perhaps theres something wrong.
