I have human male and female characters, but whenever i make a char/asura/silvari, i just feel disgusted after 5 minutes in the tutorial and i have to delete them…

I just can’t play as a non-human character…no matter how hard i try for those last personal story achievement points… anyone else have this problem?

Not only this but I have not guested to another server in like a month and yet as soon as the new build hit, the game auto guested me on two random servers.

I thought someone had hacked my account at first, when I crashed I was going to try and guest onto their server but found I had apparently randomly used up my guests. Haven’t tried FOTM yet but yeah I’m not really going to bother playing till this is fixed. I’m pretty sick of these “polished” two week patches.

the orichalum ores don’t reappear after guesting to 3 in the permanent southsun one

I don’t know why it says it does, but Quickening Zephyr does not break stun.

Get stun’d by a spider’s web ability, click quickening zephyr, nothing happens and I can’t move.

I love Lunatic Inquisition, but it seems every game I get into now people are spamming mad king says. It’s not really fair when a ghost can just sit back and spam that skill until you do the emote, get killed by the amount of times they can use it, or they catch up to you from the stun. At the moment it is way too OP, the game mode is fun, but getting killed from spam is annoying.

That’s why you buy the keys BEFORE any major event. Once the event hits and people buy keys, all % of getting something good goes down.

I bought 23 keys a couple hours before the mad king event, and got 1 ticket and a few scraps

I just realized that all characters get boosted to lv80 in PvP

which means I can ditch my ranger that i spent my whole (game) life in for a guardian/warrior !!!!!

sooo just wondering what is the best build for a guardian? which weapons, traits, runes and abilities are the best?

I am from Piken Square (Europe) and was on an overflow.

I got the same bug too- lich taking no damage from anyone, hp at full — it was fixed when I exited the instance and came back 10 minutes later.

I played the game for the first 2 months after release but purely for pvp. I now want to return to the game but for pve pvp and wvw all casually. Although i am casual i enjoy being competitive which leads to my question:

Which professions have some fun builds which can compete dps wise but also provide some grp support such as shouts venom aura or elixirs? I would prefer play the same build for all aspects of the game. I enjoy playing a class people are happy to be grouped with not only for damage but support as well.

Also, as a side question how would you rate the overall success of this game? As well as do you see it as the type of game which will continuously improve or sooner than later die off and be forgotten? To put it into perspective how would you rate its success and player base vs games like rift or swtor or even wow if you dare.

look at the ranger forums and you’ll see why:

-bad in PvP
-bad in WvWvW
-lowest DPS
-bad pet AI
-list goes on forever, been a year and nothing was fixed

oh and people actually kick out rangers in dungeons

Currently, rangers have the BEST builds in WvW and PvP and PvE.

That’s pretty much what happened in my first WvW… got totally destroyed by invisible thieves… never went back after that

I’m a ranger who just got to lv80 a week ago. Is pvp and WvW terrible for rangers?

Terrible, as in, the most terrible class that fails at everything because of bad pet AI and low dps and armor?

What’s the source for the pet health changes?

Personally, I use sword/axe in dungeons, though i do switch them out for barrage on my longbow occasionally.

The problem with my sword/axe is that I die pretty fast due to poor armor…

What is “bearbow” and why do people hate it?

Also, why do i do such bad dps compared to other classes even though I have full exotic zerker gear and weapons?

I agree with you OP. It’s a totally messed up mentality. The dungeon opens up to you at level X so if you’re level is >= X then you should be able to do it. Unfortunately, previous MMOs have ingrained the idea of “speed runs” and “farming” and the like and there is no way to fix that.

I recently reached level 80 and I have not done even one dungeon. Read that again ANet. I have yet to do a dungeon and in great part it is because of the mentality mentioned by the OP.

Now, with the LFG tool things might be better. I admit I have not tried it yet.

Sure, there are some jerks who kick people out because of low levels, but just find another one. There’s plenty all day long doing speedruns.

Does exchanging gold or diamonds or vice versa have a hidden cost?

Like how for the black lion market, there is a selling fee + “hidden fee”

Is that the same for gold/diamond conversion?

I fixed it by killing a few more enemies and running to the place where the dragon landed. After the dragon attacked me the quest progressed.

My trading post and gem store is still down…

So When I downloaded the game yesterday it worked fine and I bought 800 gems. The gems arrived. But today, the store won’t load no matter what I do.

Things that I tried that did not work for me:
-Clearing browser cache
-Clearing the game cache
-Relogging
-Restarting computer

Any suggestions? Thanks!
