Fsp defenitly is a server with plenty people still on it, which speaks a great deal about the community that stays loyal and shows we have a healty backbone, even through rough times, with 2 more guilds we’d probably be back to compete in the mid tiers, and the bronze league will give us a good chance on strenghtening the community once again.

Fsp as a server is active on all lines and has a large pug base to take advantage from, just as many other servers we aswell have a public TS open for everyone to lead or use for guilds, and as said people are willing to help you deal with the transfer costs moving here if needed.

Overall our coverage is still good and maybe lacking a bit during the night past 2 am, however our morning and afternoon coverage compensates this quite often in the matches we play.

On top of this all you won’t have to worry on not being able to participate for the rewards in the league’s as que’s outside of eb are usually not that long and in prime happening mostly on 1 border with a second being close to filled, so enough room for people to take up the cause and enjoy the fights, since there’s enough variety on playstyle on Fsp from organised guild groups from big to small to casual pug zergs and small group/solo roaming, Fsp has people active on all these fronts so some fun for each style to be had.

I’m not complaining about tacticall morale psychology, and playing cat&mouse to keep numbers and morale up, i’m asking for tools to deal with bunkerzergs, currently nothing punishes them besides another bunkerzerg of equal force, or simply more force.

What we need is tools to deal with this make siege deal % based dps on hp make siege lower armour value’s lowering the value to zero if they tank it continiously each tick more armour loss for X seconds etc, such tools so these bunkerzergs have to use tactics better approaches rather then storming in with more numbers tanking cart fire and what not with eas, that’s the approach and tools i’m asking for so defenders can actually defend and attackers have to adjust to it rather then facetank and lol cap with more numbers while running their bunker zergs.

to this game again, in zergs running mainly gaurds+ wars = win, in roaming abusing perplex runes, where’s the tools for the side with lesser numbers to deal with such setups, carts dont’ deal enough dps to even stop wars+gaurds from ramming nor does it kill the rams fast enough, trebs are currently the only way to counter siege behind doors which in term get’s countered by omega golems if the enemy feels like it when they have the numbers, and the few zerker ele’s among these zergs that meteor shower your siege down, good luck trying to kill them when they are gaurded by gaurds and wars cc/support spamming.

where’s the tacticall depth, are we all forced to play the meta to compete or is there any chance on adding tools to deal with play 2 win in outmanned situations.

WvWvW populations always fluctuates and this fluctuations is caused by the state of the games and the rewards regarding.

In the last month we seen multiple lower tier servers RoS, WSR, RoF to an extend and more have months of bad matchups because of the current matchmaking, their guilds decided to spread mostly among, AG, GH, Gan, creating the snowballing effects especially with a much stronger server or with a ‘’ dead ’’ server being the third one creating massive imbalance for lots of matchups, we’ve been on the bad side of the coin for a long time now on Fsp and had some decline aswell, and obviously less players playing, however Fsp still has a solid core and with the upcoming changes to league’s it could be that our server will get some people flocking in, because the bronze league (last 9 servers) will compete for prices and we have a good position for the top spot there meaning it could be us who get more people to our server as the bronze league is likely the easiest league to win and no que’s so easy to participate for said rewards.

In that sense we might be in the same spot you are now in a month, and for the other servers it won’f fun, aslong as people keep flocking and spreading to bandwagon the balanced matchups that created stabily for servers (although also static) won’t happen anytime soon again and you can be sure a lot of imbalance will rule wvwvw for the time being, which means you either make the best of it or fairweather elsewhere for your own fun.

For me personally there is plenty fun on Fsp and bust and booms will happen all the time and nearly all servers experience this once a while, as long as the core base is healthy which it is for Fsp i see no reason to make more drama out of our situations then needed.

As far as i know FSP hasn’t lost that many people some left but overall most are still here, with the pve events and the snowballing of the random matchups having bigger power gaps in server power, we have less people active atm in wvwvw though during offpeaks.

On top of that most servers around our strenght have gotten influx of new guilds leaving lower tiers cause of the random matchups with such imbalance.

And with this matchup aswell Arbor not having the numbers to create a full 1v1v1 it’s more a 1v1 where the side with most coverage snowballs harder into it making it seems that we have weakened a lot when we’re still somewhat the same in strenght as we where and infact have better organisation on the guilds i see on our side since last time we fought GH.

So overall i think we’re still solid it’s just all the factors combined of snowballing servers having more presence when things go well and losing servers have people go do pve and whatnot ^^

Still plenty fun to be had this matchup.

I think it’s been a rly long time since we had that much coverage anyway we mostly have eb + 1-2 borders filled in prime and out of prime eb + a border or so depending on time.

And AG having more numbers + pve event hitting now means it snowballs anyway more ag zerg to flip and get the maps, less people bother with wvwvw and check pve on our side, gonna do the same

So in the end the things they do now is just selfdestructive for their own fun on the rest of the matchup, means not much around will be flipped maybe some in prime again ^^

Shadowstep should have never been in the game in it’s current form, it’s the only stunbreak that bugs out and keeps you in knocked state upon use, it’s also the only port that bugs out on midair or certain terrain on top of buggy backports.

Because of how this skill works it needs 2 location reads to work, but if it can’t read the location or the game is to busy with bloblagg it bugs out and on top it can’t stunbreak like other stunbreaks which appears to have the same cause of needing 2 locations.

So why was this skill put in game in in it’s current form, portal obviously doesn’t have this issue, cause it’s different on activation and bypasses terrain.

Sword 2 had a similiar bug regarding this but the stunbreak was removed so that issue is not appearent anymore and they rediverted the change regarding the porting for this.

So why is one of the main oh kitten skills on someone’s bar, put into the game in it’s current bugged form, this skill is supposed to be a lifesaver but lately it’s mostly a lifekiller, duo the state of the skill and this since release, why has this skill still not been hotfixed, or is it perhaps because they can’t do it and don’t know how to fix the 2 location reads without terrain bypass, if that is the case then this skill should have never been in the game to start with.

get crucials bugs like random obstructs or misses on skills, midair immbolise lockdowns, the countless port fails duo terrain issue’s or midair going on cd and whatnot, targetting still clunky and often not propegating forward and rather still using said skill on old targets, randomly releases on selecting from stealth when not giving any forward on attack, and having all of these things like right mouse click selected off.

or will we just act like this game is esport worthy when we just powercreep spam with terror necro’s spirit rangers, evade spam thiefs and gaurdian bunkers being out of line to keep the current powercreep artificelly balanced ..

If anet would actually put as much effort into bugfixing and polishing skills as they did in events and whatnot while actually starting to balance and tone down rather then powercreep, this game could get some of it’s potentional to be great back, but for now it’s just spam builds and bugs deciding games.

So i had this stealth trap dropped earlier, a mesmer ran over it and could still use most of it’s stealth skills, care to explain why this stealth trap discriminates thief stealth from mesmer stealth?

I don’t rly care but i find the bias in the use of this trap rather decieving if it doesn’t do what it says it should .

Edit: maybe the wording was a bit off, the said mesmer could still use stealth skills going into stealth aka bypassing the 30 sec of reveal.

Pff you Frenchies are persistent, was hiding for more then an hour inside your garrison for a solo attempt but 3 of you stayed around for the whole time, the moment you got around 20 people and more and coming placing those stealth traps in i’d say it was my time to leave, maybe another time i get the chance for a solo attempt

I’d have to agree with Minfast here, was there this much commotion when FSV was trolling the pugzerg with treb blueprints on our pvd matchup? and there’s more of these examples, i have respect for all these guilds on our server, but some of the kids trashtalkers and micplaced ego’s in them defenitly need to work to earn some of the individual respect.

To stay in the words of Kami, i am sad to see the leaders of FSV and Punk keep trashtalking and dragging this on, ‘’ cause members you can discipline but leaders…. ’’

Wether it was a Lion who started interupting or a Judge member that couldn’t control himself from killing a Lion spectator, it’s Obvious things escalated. as for those entitled to their gvg it’s an open zone and acting like you can ban people because they don’t follow your rules is even more griefing then the actual griefing it just shows of a misplaced entitlement, however respect for it should be in place.

Also saying Liert was the reason for your Lion hunt cause he emoted/jumped on a Judge corps sounds like once again another misplaced judgement of conflicted ego’s that couldn’t control themselves ^^

Whatever the drama is some guilds have trashtalkers, others have kids who try to ruin it, and following into this drama based on a fart with everyone into it just brings shame to all, let the kids be kids the trashtalkers be trashtalkers and the misplaced ego’s run rampant, just don’t ‘’ Judge ’’ whole guilds for the action of a few, and get followed into it yourself, cause that is the true downfall of respect.

Burning damage from skills in general needs to be put in line more with the damage a combo field burn deals, skills usually burn for 700~ while the combo field is about 300 with the same stats.

Burning is overall a bit 2 strong like this mainly on gaurdian and engi, having the tick more around 500 would seem better to me and up the combo field burn to 400 or so.

Seems to me some people are just mad that Blos is doing rather well for not being a pure wvwvw guild and not running those 50% gaurdian setups, i saw them kill some gandara guild on NE tower yday @ gandara border and they had more numbers and siege, and the fight with XxX was double numbers @ max and mostly pugs indeed, no shame in dying once a while as a bunker guild when you get more opposition then you expected.

As for the guy saying earlier fsp was hiding in bay with siege i saw the same of Gandara earlier today @ NE tower on their border vs 4 of us, so it seems we all play german sometimes

Small rant post regarding p/d condi specs,

Unlike other classes when running condi’s they have acces to more then 2 condi’s to deal damage (poison,bleed) and on top they have a crapload more cc and control skills,

Mesmer,Warrior,Necro,Engi are all far superior in this,, even rangers with fear,knockdown on pet have a little more cc although not much and with delay aswell.

Thieves just feel so limited on condi builds compared to other classes that it just get’s boring rly fast, and you just hope they are bad enough to let you bleed em down ^^

the only proper cc form in a p/d setup i can find is going 30 in trickery for the daze on steal which is also suboptimal and messes up the build to some extent while still viable, but some extra dps condi or 1 extra form of cc would be quite welcome on condi thieves, they should have just given body shot a 3 sec burn or so instead, anyway rant off ;p

In other words let’s say the poison venom atm has 5 charges but i don’t want all these charges used on consecutive attacks, but rather choose when i do.

So how about balancing out the amount of charges, durations and give us a second skill option upon activating a venom, kinda like sword 2 & 3. (which also shows the amount of charges left)

So upon activation you use a charge and then the next one when you activate them yourself, this would make venoms a lot more appealing would give us better options in terms of keeping condi diversity up aswell.

Which would solve 2 problems Anet listed before giving more condi options to thieves and make venoms more appealing as a utility skill.

There is only 1 issue i forsee with this though and that is for those that venom share, as you’d need a mechanic to allow them to use these charges in the same way.

With the recent change of ’’fixing’’ porting spots for this skill mostly noticed for me in wvwvw as that’s where i spend most of my time, i feel this skill has pretty much become useless, as nearly all cliff ports are taken out and only a few wood structured ports remain, and we all know using this skill for a strait forward port is pretty useless and you’re better of just hsing or running d/p smokefield hs stealth or so.

So does anyone else feel this skill lost a lot of it’s value for when it was mainly used for these niche ports in the first place, most notible is probably the border NE tower – NE camp side that used to have a lot of spots to work with cliff port terrain.

Same issue here also made a topic about this recent asking if any other UPC players had the same, and it seems a lot more do, sadly it’s only with gw2 indeed, it makes playing in wvwvw pretty impossible as every fight is basically a fight with frameloss that for me went up to as high kitten -8 seconds, this really drains out the fun for me to play aswell.

Didn’t gw2 have the same routing issues with some French and German providers before, maybe they can fix this the same way for us.

I personally am just sticking to capping some camps as we simply don’t have the manpower to pick any fights and those that are picked escalate quickly in being outnumbered by mostly organised groups vs pugs, on top my net and gw2 seem to have a beef lately, which results in me rubberbanding and having frameloss up to 5 seconds in pretty much any fight, meaning i won’t give you guys a fight even if you’re solo just not worth it when my game loses out on frames 24/7.

We’ll see if the numbers during the weekday will remain this bad, but with no real third presence to pressure, you can simply keep 90% of your force @ us anyway which will result in even less people playing on our side, as we’re mostly pugs and we all know how morale is for pugs when you can’t do anything without being zerged ;p

Have routing packetloss lately with just the gw2 client?

I heard of a few more and just wonder if either anet or them kittened up the routing.

This issue is making the game obviously a lot less fun, and rather unplayable in a competitive environment.

Flanking strike strips full boon durations instead of returning base boon durations which is nice, and which makes me wonder, why do we treat s/d flanking strike different then the boon steal trait, flanking strike is more spammable, the cd on steal is pretty long, and the share radius is a joke so why has the same boon steal mechanic not been applied to our steal trait yet.

So where’s the traps that prevent 30 seconds of illusion spawn on mesmers, 30 seconds of zero adrenaline on warriors, 30 seconds of ranger pets disabled, 30 seconds of ele stuck in a single attunement!

1200 range 20 targets 30 sec reveal is a bit overkill in my book >_>

A random ally could trigger it and you still get struck by it ^^ all you can do now is run an evade build or port back and wait 30 sec, sounds fun ^^

-Out of frame bugs like on boasted dolyaks
-Porting bugs, when mid air going on cd instead of porting and many spots with inconsitency ports on the same area.
-targeting bugs, attacks not forwarding when selecting a new target or the bug that still releases from stealth at times when not giving the order but simply select.
-and the immoblise mid air bug where it acts like a stun instead since no skills work then.

Just a few for me that i often encounter and wonder if it’s ever gonna get fixed ^^

Just a quick queston regarding those that using s/d atm in wvwvw, i just tried it some but for me it feels a lot of skills have some random delay like c&d, also certain effects when being in range of 600 on port like immoblise not proccing, backport on infiltrators bugging out and dissapearing on porting in when it should stay for 15 sec, maybe it’s just me but either wvwvw lagg is causing this, or this set needs a lot more polish, didn’t have these delays or random skill bugouts on others sets like d/d d/p p/d, but for some odd reason it happens on on s/d.

After testing some more even on rather even heights if there is a small ramp it just shoots into it while the normal shot shoots over it, so i kinda find it more a downgrade sadly, hope they give us the option to put this on and off.

The arc of the faster bolt is lower so when i shoot at targets upwards my other 2 skills hit, and before i could hit that aswell with bolt 1 but now i can’t anymore because the arc is lower and it doesn’t curve over so to say.

And yes in some situations it’s better but in most upward it’s worse, hench the reason why i’d like a toggle on/off.

Can we get an option to toggle this on and off, since with the faster bolt upgrade the arrow falls quicker and you can’t hit targets that you could hit before with it so in some cases it feels like a downgrade instead of an upgrade, having a toggle to put this on or off would solve this.

I’m not 100% sure as i wasn’t able to test this yet but i’ve been pulled out of daggerstorm a few times in wvwvw that didn’t make sense, from what i seen i think i know what the issue is, the d/p thief using skill 3 with reflect pulls you back in, but for some odd reason it also ends your daggerstorm despite it having stability, would be nice if someone else could look a bit deeper into this.

To all you bads calling me a cheater ( I Creon I ), i would suggest you learn 2 sweep your towers better, if i solo a tower becuase you didn’t check your tower better when i’m hiding inside it it’s not cheating, so plz before you spam with misplaced accusations l2sweep, this is mostly aimed @ the German Engi that didn’t pay attention when i was inside taking the tower.

Tried it later on again, the frenchies did sweep took some time but gj 2 you guys ^^

I’m trying to find some good fights with our 2-5 man teams on camps but all i encounter is the guild groups of 10-20 ;_;

they force us to blob up!

Sorry couldn’t resist, but this is pretty much the same ;p

Just accept that FSP doesn’t have as many guildzergs as you guys have and we play the game in a way that works for us, and even with even numbers we often enough won fights aswell this week, heck even when most of us go to sleep you still have these blobs on so blaming it all on us is ironic at best, everyone does it.

Not gonna read through all this, but i defenitly prefer the extra reveal second over always revealed.

always revealing,

-conflicts with traits, utilities and teamplay
-makes thieves even more predictable
-removes our form of substain

the damage loss so many people complain about is rather insignificant as any competent opponent will not let you land your chain in perfect succesion each time.

Pure burst never had the substain to maintain for multiple in and outs, lack of ini and simply to squishy.

Hybrid power builds rely on sometimes taking an extra stealth chain to maintain in the fights, the same goes for condi builds.

Neither of these last 2 builds have enough pressure to kill any decent bunker and is balanced in fights without such bunker play.

And for all those complaining about thieves stealth surfing through zergs waiting for the right moments, isn’t that all what a thief is about being annoying in such situations, if your teammates around you can’t be bothered to throw in a cc to save you if you go down to a thief in the backline or they don’t want to react with 2 people ressing then imo the thief deserves that kill in the first place.

As let’s face it there are enough ways to counter a melee skill that eats half the inititative to maintain stealth only on builds that either lack the burst to down you instant or simply wear you down with one condi type that is easy to control.

And as said before with culling fix in place and the extra second reveal, people have a much easier time countering these thieves in the first place.

Thieves no matter what build they run still eat a lot of damage and are really fragile to CC, we don’t have easy acces to protection or stability like a lot of other classes have to maintain our pressence.

Imo thieves are therefor pretty balanced atm, sadly because of how stealth works, we aren’t that viable inside spvp tournament play outside of pure burst build setups because most builds outlast us or delay us long enough while they cap the point on any other build, so that leaves us with a cheesy option.

Would the other reveal change change that, no it wouldn’t either it would just criple us more then the current change does.

PS: considering the substained thieves, they all balance imo as a d/d you have the burst but not the disables yet not the burst to instagib, kitten d you have the disables but not the burst to pressure hard enough (especially with quickness change), as p/d you have the pressure , but again not the disables to utilise on it, as d/p you have the burst you have the disables but you don’t have enough inititative to always utilise on all of this.

So overall i consider the thief fairly balanced atm, no matter what build you play you will always have things keeping it in check wether it will be lack of burst, disables, initiative, or pressure each set has something the other doesn’t provide, and i consider the SB the defensive weapon to swap 2 when you either want to make distance or evade. as all other setups besides p/p require you to be go into melee.

We FSP probably have the biggest zerg in EB yea, but we don’t have nearly as many guildzergs as you guys, seems only fair that we have some extra numbers to compensate

Also the Fury/Kiss blob i seen yday is the biggest guildzerg i saw so far this matchup, must have been 60+ people, so all sides do it

Is it intended that thieves who have stealth up entering the water now get revealed when they do ? in other words entering water breaks stealth.
