I think they made their money, the store is working, and they could care less at this point. No other explanation fits the last few nerfs.
Apparently, the anet team believe that punishing casual gamers severely by making it pointless to do the only thing the game offers is the key to a successful game. High hopes dashed, game over.
Unbelievable. Since launch, this company has made the worst decisions of any game company I’ve ever bought from. I didn’t play GW1, and I’m glad I didn’t. The friend that encouraged me to play did, and his daily disappointment and rage at these insane “fixes” is much worse than mine. My anger is just based on poor design, broken game mechanics, rushed release, poor testing and feedback, the oversights which basically destroyed the economy within a week of launch, and the kneejerk anti-gamer nerfs that have been dumped on the game consistently since launch.
This is the most anti-PVE game ever created in the PVE genre, but you can buy gold with a credit card, so i guess today’s generation of “gamers” is happy?
