Deso celebrating a very, very job well done in the hell of the past 9 weeks called a tournament. Server celebrity commanders, dedicated WvW players and PUGs joined in cheering in coming 2nd, when no one, not even ourselves, thought would come anywhere near the top 3.

I don’t like the light armor because it looks boring and similar to many others found in game. The only reason you would buy it is for the bottom. The others look fantastic.

Also, I don’t care for your hurt feelings. A lot of people like armor that way and “boo-hoo” if you don’t.

You need to change your clothing into the new one by visiting one of those NPCs near the ones that normaly trade tickets for weapon skins near the BLC Traders.
They will automaticly detect your equipped stuff. Then they give you the new versions.
As an example:

haha! That is about how it goes when I ever I run with my tag up.

By and large, the community is pretty darn nice to me when I’m flying the colors. I had the best time running with groups in the Tower of Nightmares and other big events. I’ve loved when I’m hanging out crafting, and folks come chat with me. I like just doing random hearts, jumping puzzles, and such.

Only rarely have I received a not as friendly reception. This is especially when I like to talk to players. I listen. I take notes. This is a very passionate community and I absolutely enjoy playing with everyone. After all, I was a part of the community before I started working here. My home server is truly my home server!

I hope so, I would love to see polearms in the game.
Hopefully they can use all them spear skins that only get seen when underwater.

Sounds like an EU server would be better. At least the WvW is a (little) more balanced.

I was doing a PS on an alt today, opened a chest and got a full ticket. I’m good.

Lucky guy, I grabbed 25 keys from the gem store and only got 6 scraps.
A hard lesson learned…don’t buy keys, it’s cheaper off the TP.

Anet has an old habit of putting a price reduction on Black Lion Keys a day or two before the release of new weapon skins that are claimed through the Black Lion trader.

With that in mind, as well as knowing that tomorrow is April fools day. It seems likely we will be seeing some, jokes of weapons skins being released.

I don’t know where Desolation stands, right now we have an amazing lead in the current match up and if we can keep it up we have a good chance in winning the next.
It’s hard to judge where we will land because we could really end up anywhere.

Being the genius trader that i am. I suspect people will rush to buy dyes to make the most use of the new system, however as time goes by there will be a increasingly lower demand for them and that will lead to them becoming cheaper than they once were.

It would sure suck for anyone with dual Incinerators. I can count a few already. However, I suppose that while the time is present, using a transmutation splitter and selling it would be worth doing now.

We definitely need more info on this. Will it cost us in gems, coins or another currency to use this?

I agree, all of these GM traits are severely underwhelming compared to other classes.
To me it seems like most of our traits are things the Ranger needs without being GM, where in other classes there are seen as options to diversify their builds.

Most of what we have seen should be buffs to the class and not GM traits.

The ranger class needs to stand toe-to-toe with other classes, but right now they are STILL laughed out of every game mode.

With a rangers low health pool and lack of defensive ability, even 15% isn’t worth building into. If you are up close as a ranger then, you are doing it wrong and projectiles are the least of your problems.

I hope the other new traits are more of a bonus to the ranger, oppose to fixes which the ranger should have anyway.

Nothing says a broken class more than a community screaming at the devs.

Slow arrows are a problem with the class to begin with, you can avoid any damage done by a longbow ranger just by strafing. Making this trait, not a buff but more of a fix.
Instead of making this a trait, it should be added to all bow skills altogether.

What’s even more scary, is that this is a trait that shows off what “amazing” features are in store for the class’s.

Anything the Ranger does, Necromancers do better.
Seriously, Rangers are built around that mess of a pet and Necros are so, so much more effective with minions.

Looks like another low blow for rangers. I’m starting to think Anet really does hold something against them at this point.

Carefully watched? Yes. Hated? No. Scarlet was the cause of all this suffering and pain (and a council that mass effect’s would be proud of). One person should not be a representative of all people in that race/group/ethnicity. I’d also like to point out Zojja fought influence from a dragon champion and succeeded. If anything I’d be wary about the nightmare court and trying to warn Marrik’s people of the coming threat.

They are first and foremost dragon minions and it is in their nature to destroy and spread chaos. The ones born from the pale tree may be an exception, but there still might be another location where Sylvari are born without the protection of the tablet.

The race is inherently and created to be evil.

Human T3 heavy cultural armour. Perhaps the aetherblade armour as well.

Sylvari are originally dragon minions and supposedly belong to a certain dragon that hasn’t awoken(of course, now it has). Which is probably the reason that Sylvari cannot become risen. The reason that the Sylvari that aren’t killing machines is probably because of “The tablet at the base of the tree and the Dream of Dreams that guide the sylvari, who are imprinted by the morality and ethics of Ventari and the bravery of Ronan.”

A Sylvari without the protection of the tablet fall under the dragons influence (imminently?), this is proved where the first Sylvari born outside the pale tree (Cadeyrn) formed the nightmare court. Scarlet was probably turned by the dragons influence when she entered the sensory deprivation chamber.

So yeah, they kind of do have a reason to be hated and carefully watched.

Transfer to Desolation, where the only time it fails is because of guests.

I would just like to see a class other than Engineer use rifles effectively.

I really like the zodiac skins. The preview in the gem store doesn’t show that it glows and has that twilight/sunrise effect on it that well. Keep the skins please, I love em.

At this point I’m almost certain that Marjory is in for the cut. She has raised a ton of death flags recently it’s unreal. She is a key character and was introduced early in the living story and has had a lot of character development.
One flag is that she has formed a deep relationship with a character who will miss her.
Another is that she holds a lot of information and the story is driven by her with people relying heavily with a lot of action revolving around her particularly.

Another that really caught my eye was the message she sends you after reviewing the evidence saying this about Kasmeer:
“I’m not eager to expose her to that kind of danger again, no matter how exhilarating she finds it.”
Which is always a one way path to death from protecting someone else.

Feels like a kick in the teeth, after fighting hard for weeks the winning server gets what an hour in PvE would give.

I was REALLY hoping that the finisher would be permanent, but nope. 250 finishers later and we may have well come last in the season and filled our bags with PvE goodies instead.

Great fighting from FSP and Gandara(though Gandara were fighting harder in the forums).
I hope to have another fantastic next week with Gandara.

Hopefully Gandara will realize why we aren’t in gold league when we get roflstomped together next season.

So we took FR’s Garri and when we swept, we found a Mesmer dead at every gate.

So it seems they co-ordinate very well when bug abuse is the objective.

FR has apologized saying that they hadn’t intentionally died on the gate with Mesmers, but was in fact, all by chance.
