my candle has fire to, but world 2 zone 3 i cant get past the frozen waterfall, i gues i need to buy the torch from the shop next to it but its 400 baubles, that means i need to collect 250 baubles first for the bauble bag. why isnt my candle enough.

i like SaB so much lol been trying over and over and over to get to where i am now :p if you ask me its not dificult at all, even the gong run. you just have to move slow and look at what your doing and you will be totally fine. saying that even tho i died 30+ times there

than what would signet of the hunt do? i use it all the time but if this trait would come i’d probably go with signet of renewal instead. i never actually activate signet of the hunt, i only use it for its passive. elementalists have a +25% movement speed stunbreaker signet :/

completed it 2 days ago on my ranger with shortbow sword/warhorn, took the sword just for the orbs since i normally just roll with longbow instead.
about 10 tries later also got the 8 orb achievement.

power precision crit dmg gear and stuff.
troll unguent, lightning reflexes, signet of the hunt, signet of renewal, rampage as one.

actually guard can be usefull but it requires some skill. lets say your near some cliffs and you have your wolf pet out, you use guard so make it stealth on a tactical position and than use its f2 skill to fear your opponent off the cliff. there’s also a movie somewhere on youtube about a ranger who does all his damage with his pet, he uses Guard to get his pet near the enemy and the pet just destroys the enemy in 2 or 3 hits.

well its a birthday gift, if you created your character a week after headstart would that mean you would get this birthday gift one week later than everyone else? becouse if thats so i dont realy see the problem.

and a option in the trading post to only search for dies that you dont own yet

im a ranger using shortbow/longbow, when some1 stealths the only thing i can do is longbow barrage thats it, why cant my pet sniff out the stealthed player? or my nr1 bow skills should be able to change into some short of “slash with your bow” skill to just swing around and pray to hit something

yeah cant wait for the light, medium, heavy options. scrolling trough 66% of the stuff i cant use anyway… why would i want that?

made this topic to give people a place to suggest new idea’s for finishers here’s my 2 idea’s.

1: A tombstone dropping from the sky or shooting out from the ground, either landing on the player to crush him or it being placed above the defeated player’s head.

2: a ghost copy of the defeated player rising from out the defeated player’s body like he/she is ascending to heaven. maybe even struggeling or trying to swim back into its body ;p

actually no, i didnt test this, but shouldnt it reflect all projectiles? i did everything with ranger. flipped few traits around since i dont need 1500 range and piercing arrows and im at the tier 3 endboss now. lag makes me fail.

also ranger has the advantage that the pet sets off all the mines
when i saw killshot comming i just used “protect me” so the pet took all the dmg (about 5k)

Elementalist here, stuck at Deadeye Dunwell (I think he’s bugged anyway, he spawns mines on top of me all the time and there’s no way I can dodge them).

I dodge a lot, time my attacks with combos and survive, and then I get insta-downed or the timer runs away.

It’s pretty clear the only way to successfully achieve the Gauntlet is to be a berserker or a heavy condition damager. I saw a necromancer faceroll through the first 11 bosses, killing them all in 5-10 seconds with full DPS and conditions.

The Gauntlet doesn’t reward skill, it rewards DPS. Insta-downing attacks don’t help here, either, why go vitality or toughness when it won’t be useful at all?

go staff earth 3 to reflect his killshot if you dont have a DPS build :p

Bifrost is epic, but it doesnt go with necro. had to buy scythe staff skin to be happy. now im anoyed by necromancer staff cast effect that makes me have some kind of scythe with an extra scythe effect attached to it :s

So, a map has 75 players and 6 arenas. So the queue is composed of 69 players. At a rate of 6 new players that enter every 2 minutes, it means on average you have to wait 20 minutes between the time you leave an arena and can reenter to try again.

2 minutes is the maximum time you get to defeat your opponent, easy opponents will be beaten in less than a minute i bet, so waiting time’s will be lower than 20 minutes

yeah you have to look way up with your camera to make the arrow go straight, however the chance that you will hit your opponent is very small so its best to use barrage if your using longbow. maybe poison volley with shortbow will do to but your not likely to hit all 5 arrows.

i sure hope so, i still have 2 snowman finishers and 2 gift finishers on the bank

some bags say in the discription that they wont compact. i bought the fractal equipment bags and they didnt tell me anything and they wont compact

the black lion key price reduction is just as temporary as the waypoint price reductions so whats your point with that? they both last 4 weeks.

also EVERYONE is going to benefit from waypoint price discount while much less people will have a benefit from reduced black lion keys prices.

if i realy have to vote i will vote for Evon as well since his offer fits me better. if there’s an option not to vote than ill do that. both their video’s they are crying about the other instead of promoting themself. they didnt tell me why they should be chosen.

if your problem is purely the “death” than you should know that you can use the waypoint during the fall… and you have more than enough time to use it :p

use that 5 minutes invisible buff…

also as pve player you should know to Watch the ledges… not jump them :p

why would I ever use a skin on some gear that’s below level 80.

i spent 140 gold on my lvl 14 necromancer just for apearence so far… why would you have the skin waiting in your bank until you reach 80 while you can have fun it with it right now?

Norn to big? mine isnt big enough… i still wanna buy an extra character slot to make the biggest norn possible and than use that ranger signet + trait skill to make it even bigger. at some point in the future i will.

just to throw an idea out there… what if every path has a special item rewarded, so you would need to do the story path and the 3 explore paths and use the 4 rewards together in the mystic forge, and that for each dungeon. at arah its the 4 explore path without the storyline path since this path is involved in the storyline already anyway.

example:

cof story mode: reward 1
cof path 1: reward 2
cof path 2: reward 3
cof path 3: reward 4

combine these 4 rewards in the mystic forge to get the cof reward.
you should not be able to get that reward when there’s already one of them on your acount.

hi there, i have this awesome Fused Greatsword skin on my warrior, it would be such a shame to leave this weapon in the bank or to salvage it whenever i get my Twilight. so i want some expensive gemstore item to make this a usable skin again. so i can equip it on my ranger, guardian, mesmer or whatever.

this item just needs to preserve the skin and make it usable on any other character. maybe even by using a transmutation stone/crystal.
if this suggestion isnt good enough than maybe we can transfer it to spvp somehow.

or make me sell it at the special weapon npc in the trading post who will give me a ticket back for it? :p

edit: this should not be able for skins you can buy from any npc thats in the game permanent
this feature should only be used to re use your own skins again, not to sell them on the TP.

to give you an idea of how hard it is to reach the goggles… i got muted because i said “thank you” to much everytime i was revived.

when buying this box the discription told me:

If possible, weapons and armor of uncommon rarity will fill this box before other empty spaces.

well im fine with that, but why doesnt the stuff in it compact when i choose to?
the discription didnt say that stuff wouldnt move when sorted, other boxes in the trading post do tell me that.

i didnt read everything here but i see many people complaining about traps, has no1 noticed the shadow trap change? the return now works as a stun breaker, also it has 10k range! this means you can place this trap before going into battle, do your damage and when you are about to die you return, instantly out of combat and safe. how’s that not good? dont even get me started about sPvP placing this on points to travel back quickly

so many of our great players find it funny to place guild banners / trading post npc’s / merchant npc’s or items like box o fun as close as possible to populair npc’s like our banker to make it impossible to interact with the banker or you need to spend a few minuntes to be able to speak with the banker.

we need something to prevent players from placing that stuff their. some radius around npc’s in wich items/npc’s cant be placed or something.

a ranger should be superior using ranged skills, dont nerf them :s if there wont be a trait to get this back up to 1200 im leaving ranger for a while

we have keg brawl! besides that we have awesome mini game’s during events like now with dragon bash we have dragon ball, with the southsun event we have the crab toss and so on.

you know those contracts we have to summon a black lion trading post guy or a banker?

id like an auto sell junk contract that would instantly sell my junk items as soon as they enter my inventory.

auto deposit collectables contract (with an on/off switch)
auto salvage stuff like rags/pelts/scrap mettal contract (with an on/off switch)
auto open bags contract (with an on/off switch)
auto pickup drops contract…

that kind of stuff ;p

i’d rather pay for stuff that i can use on all my accounts than just 1 character, also i prefer permanent things instead of 1 time use and its gone.

for example… if commander function would apply to all my characters i would have already bought it

so you cant interupt heals? at all? thats OP and wont make it into the game if you ask me, there are more professions (engineer/guardian) that use shield and all the shield traits are the same, 20% faster skill recharge and +90 toughness. its not like shields arent strong for warrior

yes i cant wait to use bolt in air atunement! this greatsword looks abit OP to me, would be nice if the elite greatsword was different depending on atunement tho.

i cant wait for my engineer to reach level 80, but currently im having way to much fun with a power/precision/crit shortbow ranger. maybe you could give that a try, hit 80 and farm cof for some gear, its well within anyone’s reach. dont spend to much money on expensive runes, just buy 6x ruby orb and put that on your armor, and buy sigil of rage for your shortbow, its just 4 silver.
