Yea thats what i mean, i do wait the normal time required to get in my vengeance mode.. but the hammer doesnt hit the thief

(maybe he uses stability too ) not sure about that though. But the last few times a thiefs went to stealth kill me and i threw the hammer, nothing happend

Well i just use tab then it selects it?

This needs to be fixed i guess, you can hit thiefs while you swing your sword around when they are stealthed right? So why you cant hit them with the hammer while he is finishing you in stealth?

Bah i want to play this game the normal way, not with bugs everytime or with 1 hour+ waiting times. Maybe stop making every month new stuff or stories.. use the comming 2 months for game repair please, nobody would complain!

Same here ( Desolation ) i can only play in Midday or at night, on prime time all the borders are full and the queue goes over 1 hour ( then i change char for PVE or exit the game )

But i cant say if there are really 100+ ppl per map>

Would be really nice to see some numbers of how many ppl your own server have for each map, but dont show the enemy numbers cause that will make things unfair.

And a number to see how many ppl are waiting in Queue

Ye but thats my ’problem’with the thiefs, i dont like fighting air.. its cool that thiefs can hide etc. but running around pressing 1 or putting AOE around myself is just silly.. i want to fight them. But thats impossible because they go stealth every second :P

Ye i guess i have to roll a thief..

Just reduce the cooldowns of stealth between the stealth skills, and im ok with all the things a thief does.

Well yes it was a joke comment lol, thought he made a joke too, yea Vorch i try to do that all the time.. but the thing is, i dont like fighting air all the time.. and the thief numbers are really rising in WvW ( what i think )

The stealthing every second is very annoying in my eyes, it is really intented to be like this?

The sytem requirements dont say i need a friend in WvW all the time

Ye i just put a ring of fire around me with my bow, but its just so strange that a thief can go invisible every darn second.. i mean come on, thats the way they wanted a thief to be? Now im just fighting air all the time… seeing nothing, im sorry but i dont call that a fun fight.

I can kill these thiefs easy 1 v 1, but when im fighting someone else too.. it gets very hard if a thief is around that i cant dodge, making the dodge skill useless.. dodging air is not so much fun too.

Maybe give warriors a skill that unstealths a thief in a radius of 300 or something, that would help!

So where is the ’’Player Skill ’ required to deal with a thief that go stealth every second, and res downed friends invisible ?

What can i do back when i cant see them? I am a tanky warrior and can handle those thiefs damage.. and still have a good output, but what can i do? They go stealthy every second.

I thought you need player skill to beat others, but i think you just need to be a thief..

Please Anet, please please.. look at this.. make stealth skills 5 seconds delay between eachother or something, cause its just no fun this way.

I would make the map double layered, so the battle can be fought in underground caves and big open spaces for a new resource. These resources are needed to maintain your fortified walls, if one does not have enough of this resource the structure brakes down over time.

Hence i would introduce drops for only WvW that include WvW PvP bonusses such as for example:

10% stronger vs thiefs
10% stronger vs warriors
etc.

These drops can be ‘Infused’ in the infusion slots you can get from the PVE side of the game or from the laurel shop.

And that people can ride horses, when they earned one by getting 5000 achievement points, and wvw ppl will complain but if you want a horse, you have to do the PVE side of the game too.

These horses haves special scout abilities like checking how much supply and resources are available in the towers/keeps, because its a bit strange we can see the enemy stockpile.

And i want capes.

Girls get quaggans

Boys wants capes.

Its Kitty Kitty more fun to play in WvW, finding these 10 vs 15 battles visa versa. More intense more skill based! And no culling what so ever.

Wish these skirmishes are more in other Tiers, cause what ive seen in T1 its all about the zerg, and you dont need player skill to beat them, you need teamspeak and a big zerg.

So guys lets stay in T2 for a while, more fun here

I have my sound option ingame on the lowest setting, cause i believe someone replied to me, if you use higher quality ingame you need to have a high quality dolby soundcard and that made sense to me.

i have 8g memory thats more then enough so its not my memory, maybe my onboard soundcard but still..

It doesnt happend ALOT but it happends when there are alot of ppl around, and when im close to a door in WvW, never happend anywhere else..

Will the sound bug be fixed in the upcomming patch? Because it is very annoying. Today i waited 30 minutes to get into WvW, and i could play for 15 minutes cause you need a full client reset to fix the soundbug

Its been a long while, 5 months ago i had the same sound bug.. when will it be fixed? Cause you need a full client restart and so an hour waiting time for wvw again. Please fix it, very annoying

I dont know why but Spvp is slower then PVE or WvW, its like 0.02 seconds of animations that goes slower? Its really not nice to play.

Also i wanted to make the same build from WvW for my engineer, but everytime works different with the skills. For example the change to medi kit.. that normally gave me swiftness everytime i did it, but now i need to press it twice to gain swiftness..

Why change it there and not in wvw or visa verca i dont understand.. well did not bad in spvp but the slower animations / lag really dont do it for me, im back to wvw :P

This thread is about people that take NO effort at all to learn how the game works, alot of people are using the mystic forge combined with the trading post to make gold.. my method is 90% profitable from 10s to 10g if im a bit lucky. And no i wont tell how because i will destroy my own method, but you can trust me guys.. i do not buy and resell.

Well yes, you can do a 16-20k damage combo ( if your opponent isnt any good ) but you cannot miss! or be blocked or what that new elementalist does vanish in thin air etc.. then your screwed

Also vs thiefs.. you miss everything, best defence if hes vanished is to take out the wrench and start hitting around you and use the gear shield if he appears next to you.. but that really takes good timing.. And i have since a few week more and more skill lag with bigger groups, so timing isnt working for me

Hmm my glass engineer starts with the 20% crit potion.. then i try to net my opponent, and after he dodges 2x i shoot my 3 toolbet skills, first i shoot 10% vulnerable then i shoot the wrench toolbelt and after that i shoot the last bullet from belt. All the toolbelt skills shoot lightning bolts too (2-4k dmg each) if critted.

The recharge is good, but still only 4k damage with crit and 98 crit dmg is not that high if you compare it with other classes.

Well i wanted to try something else, im used to play warriors.. but i wanted to make it for WvW and its fun to play.. dont get me wrong, but after a while you feel like beeing useless.. in my eyes some other classes are way better for WvW.

Maybe its good in PVE, i lvled it there to lvl 60.. but PVE isnt that hard with any class to be honest ( dunno about dungeons )

My best tip for you guys is to not make an Engineer.

I made one with the most damage build i could think of, and i do 2k dmg with my rifle on a bunker elementalist.. and it have only the gear shield to survive.

Spended hours on it, and 150-200g on gear but its just too weak in 1v1 situations ( vs pugs you kill them in 1 strike ) but i mean vs other lvl 80s with full gear and know what the skills do.

made it up to 70% crit chance with 98 crit dmg! But in the end its not worth to make one.

Im starting on a elementalist now, they can AOE, Tank, 1v1, they can do it all!

So bye Engineer, maybe i play you sometimes.. but not alot anymore

And today again 0.5 1.0 sec skill lag vs 2 enemies, i mean come on already.. i can understand the culling and im ok with it now.. but skill lag? Its getting worse every month.. come on!

Hi, on big fights in Garrison my skills dont work, i am trying to runaway from the enemy and want to fast heal myself.. but all my skills react alot slower then normal so i keep dying.

Also i cannot see the enemy inside for atleast 5 seconds, i know its culling and your fixing on it etc.

Is it just because 2 sides were attacking the garrison with around 40 ppl each and we were defending with 40 ppl that the game gives me this skill lag? is it my network? or is it my computer.

But AOE is the only thing to hold back zergs, if you nerv it to like 5 enemies the zerg just runs thrue it and rushes over everyone.. it is the players skill to dodge roll out of red circles and you wont be in any AOE.

The reason that ppl die when a large group is AOE 1 specific area is because they rush in thinking they are god, if they were smart they would think..

I wonder if this is a good way to talk to the community of your server because normally i just fight in WvW and i follow some random commander, then i see him/her making a mistake and because we all died after that.. i and maybe i shouldnt do that but, i talk into map chat and say stuff like EX. “Ahh that was bad lol, you should try to build catapults there!” What actually maybe good work but..

Then that person complete freaks out calling me a noob and that i must learn to fight and i better listen to him/her. I mean lol? I am not in these person’s guild and im just trying to give them tips on how they could try it.

Now i see alot of hate towards me while i always try my best doing my thing in WvW and supporting that big guild in every fight i see, some people are still mature and whisper me with “You was right man, that could be better” but because its a big guild now alot of people comment on every lame joke i make or any help i ask with like.. omg him again / Guys block him / Ignore him guys.

I mean come on, im not in your guild but i am in your server, im just trying to help here. Now people randomly blocking me, because their boss asks for it.

Viz and Sea have a nice time capping on camps, Desolation hardly does anything about it.. these things are great points if you can hold.

@ username i am sorry i am from Desolation too and i fight on the side with IRON too but you guys are seriously all packed in the keeps with only defence.. not thats a bad thing! for you guys its good you get points so GG for that. But when you come outside you attack our morning forces ( 10 ppl ) with a 40 man strong zerg and when we have 40 people ready you never show your face outside the walls.

But still your doing a great job defending!

You guys from Viz are some really tough people inside the keeps! kitten Everytime we get pushed back and start over again lol respect for that! But you guys well maybe not all, arent that good in PvPing outside the keeps.. you have too many berserkers walking around that die in 2 skills.. but still its fun!

You guys from Sea are very experienced in tactical WvW combat and in PvPing, also you guys.. when i target you, you all have skale venom buffs, the highest foods etc always on! And some skilled pvping.. I just hate the thiefs that go stealth every second lol

And Desolation i gain more and more respect for KAZ guild, those guys are really organised and fun to follow.. you can clearly see they have fun playing the game, making jokes etc.. but when they need to fight or attack a keep its like.. ok lets do this.. bam bam bam we got it lol
