How can this arrow cart shoot 10 meter inside our keep, destroying our catapults and other siege?

How can they aim and look inside?

What to attack? Thiefs go stealth every 2 seconds.

And im roaming in WvW for mesmers, dont have TS etc. I just dont agree on that mesmer’s confusion does damage on when i use my own skills or dodge rolls, thats just weird.

Hmm in my opinion the confusion from mesmer’s shouldnt affect your own skills or even dodging… to try to remove the confusion from yourself your also killing yourself.. so what to do about that.

And for thiefs i can hold out the first few attacks with blocks etc as i mentioned before, but i run out of those.. and the thief recharges the same attack within 10 seconds while my skills have 30 second cooldown.. I can swing my sword around hitting thin air and ‘hoping’ i hit the thief or else im toasted.

But thats my opinion and how i see it in WvW. Fighting other classes can be hard too but then i can fight back without or killing myself or hitting the air around me.

Look i can hold off a thief with blocking shield and endure pain, but then he go invisible and 3 seconds later he does the same attack again :P and i cant defend vs that anymore.

And for mesmers i have condition removals, but it always removes fire or bleeding first and not the confusion.. and if i try to dodge their clones i still get the confusion + i get damage when i want to remove these conditions… so i can only try to run.

But ye, toughness seems useless

Will there ever be change to :

Thiefs pressing 1 skill for 6 times and the other person dies in 3 seconds even when he have 3200 toughness?

Mesmer confusion stacks or condition time?

Those two things need attention, or else i want to spam frenzy every 10 seconds too

Anyone have skill lag? So annoying, cant even switch weapons when a small groups come….

Yea i miss that alot, in my older MMORPG’s it was fun to talk abit in chat etc.

Nowadays everyone is on TS ( I always have music on, and dont want to hear dull voices all the time while i game lol )

And when i do talk in Map chat, talking to someone who likes to chat i get insulted or people tell me " Stop spamming "

I agree, thiefs rule in WvW.. i have never seen a more powerfull class that deals that much damage in just 6 strikes in 3 seconds.

3400 toughness and still down in 6 hits, and the thief only presses 1 skill.

I thought this game was skill based.

If your hit and you have like 10% hp left, just jump in the water and regen full hp fast. Then rejoin the fight

Well today i got the sword ^^

Both from lvl 20 dailies.

It is not fair to let people play this game with i3 processors, and underpowered GPU’s. This game needs atleast a decent gaming i5 processor. 2 of my friends that are not PC gamers, but qualified for the PC minimum ( and even medium) requirements are having big lags in the WvW game.

Its a High – end game, i know that.. i play it too.

Finally i found my shard!

I had 120 MF on, all MF buffs etc.. and i get nothing!

I put my normal armor on and with a total of 0 magic find, i get one.

MF = Waste of gear?

EDIT * 1 fractal later i find another with no magic find -_-

EDIT *2 Now i joined a party from lvl 26 ( im at 23) and i got an infused ring! Wohoo happy haha

I have no clue of what to do with all my rings too, but im saving them cause people are probally going to complain about them beeing useless, and maybe Anet makes them salvageable in the future..

And when i throw them out now i probally going to regret it later

Hmm where you find this information? Or is it just based on personal experience.

Yesss!! found a vial of mist thingie from lvl 9 fractal!!

Can anyone tell me where the shards drop? or is it random too

Gained again no upgr. mat, and the ppl in my party get shards, vials and they use no magic find lol

Yes i check my bank tab lol, i am a warrior with greatsword and longbow, and i always tag and kill monsters… i get around 25 miners bags from the dredge fractal everytime! So i hit enough monsters lol

And yes i ask my parties to kill all monsters on the daily bonus fractal, and im aiming at the walking crystals…

I know it is RNG but its not fun anymore :P

Nahh i tried with MF gear on, i give up. I will not farm to be good in it.. i will just wait for new PVE content.

And today i see ppl showing their mats,,, some ppl have 60+ of all each.. and i get NOTHING in 251 runs!!! kitten offf

Yes i never get stuff like that, i have tons of rings etc.

Maybe a good idea to let us salvage the rings for a RNG for upgrade materials?

I am sorry but a processor your gonna use max 2 years, and then you are going to buy a new one. Just because the tech. speeds up in a rapid rate, i never overclocked my stuff before and now i can play every game on recommended settings that comes out, so i do respect myself and my wallet

WvW in big battles 30 fps, normal with Vsync on 60 fps

PVE 60 fps steady.

Guess what the i5 processor cost.. 140 euro.

Its almost the same as a i5 3570k but it doesnt have a build in GPU, thats why it is cheaper and you cannot overclock it.

My game works great now

Your post states do not post i5 stuff, but your wrong with 300-400 E

After farming alot of these fractals im getting frustrated about the drop rate, my pt members get them and i dont…

Today did lvl 20 daily with the 10 AR, and on last boss it did 90k agony dmg on me but that was the only time i died.

I am just a casual PVE player, i cannot do more fractals then 1 because it takes time and its frustrating not getting anything.

Probally im just unlucky in the drop of these upgr. mats, i do get exotics.. today got the Fractal Scepter lol.

If you already have a decent video card you can try the i5 3350P processor, it doesnt have a build in GPU and you cannot overclock it but its the same processor as the i5 – 3570k and it cost only around 180$

You can buy a decent video card for 120$

And you can play this game on settings High

I am at lvl 21 fractals atm and i have 2 rings with 5 AR basic infusions.

My problem is i cannot find any upgrade materials to infuse my rings and i also never get any infused rings from daily chests. The fractals take long enough to play a game casual in PVE and i dont want to do numerous fractals on a daily base because i do have other stuff to do in real life.

So how can i progress further? There is no party that takes me higher then 21 without atleast 15-20 AR.

Am i missing something? An easier way to infuse these rings?

Yea but if you can put it in 2x rings and 1x amulet + foods, you can really focus a build on those conditions. And the ascended gear will be usefull!

Thats why i want to have items in the laurel shop like!

10% bleed reduction
10% confusion resistance
10% Fire reduction
etc… etc…

For in the ascended gear! So you can build up your own resistance!

They nerfed Zaitan? Is this a joke? Its been a while since i played that story dungeon but my first time there was kinda cool.. my group and me downed a few times fighting on that ship but… if i could rate it i would rate it easy. Why nerf it?

I only complained about the 10 minutes pressing button 2 on the end, for the rest it was a well balanced story mission.

Leave some challenge left for the gamer plz, dont make stuff too easy.

You are thinking about mounts but we cant even sit on the chairs in the trading post! Be real!

I would love to see more caves where it is pitch black, and that you need a torch to explore your way in and out That gives me the real feeling of exploring.

For the rest, the environments are amazing already, dunno what to add.

Then what hardware is required to play this game on its maxed setting?

But i could see all the players ( that i could see ) walking without lag or anything just my skills like healing didnt respond to my keyboard, it did after a while but i didnt see other lags.. i could see dragon without lag, ppl fighting it without lag.. just the sound was odd.. like it culled sound from players too.

I went to this event because i wanted to try out my new processor, and its a large event with lots of people.

My FPS with the Jormag event with everything maxed out on the graphics was 26 FPS steady.

Thats not bad i guess.

But is it my network,computer, or anything from my side that i have:

• Skill lag
• Sound lag/ Not hearing all others around me (some).
• Lots of culling

Or is this normal with this event? And will their be changes to this in the future?

I am sure they are testing something, or wanting to keep the WvW population low to handle the server on the online culling tests, but we as customers dont want to wait 2 hours to finally play the game.

I suggest also to implement a counting system for WvW, so we can see if we can ALT+F4 the game or just wait a little.

Now i waited 1 hour and borderlands was ready, i wanted to jump in and i got an error message with that the world isnt ready because they are choosing new teams or something * the thing you see on reset * and guess what? I got kicked out of WvW Queue.

And no i wont move because i am in this server since beta, i made friends here and i have alot of fun on this server.

I think its about time we get some anwsers

Yes all of these options are on, i only have supersample off and its on native, because i dont want to let me my gpu work for a little difference

I have 20-40 fps in big zergs
60-80 fps fighting in groups ( vsync off)
1920×1080 resolution

I have a backup GPU thats why i bought this one that is 30% cheaper then the 3570k..

And my PSU hmm i dunno anymore lol, but it still provides enough power

PS: Had some big zerg fights and i got 25-40 fps.. love to fight vs the zergs now lol!

I havent seen it yet in a massive zerg! Still need to test that out but in group fights im around 80fps yes.

Well i could play any game with my i3 on max settings, that was a reason to not upgrade it, and in PVE zones i could play the game on max settings with a good 40-50 FPS, only in WvW you really need the CPU powers..

Still its not expensive to buy a good i5!

Today i have upgraded my computer to an i5, and it works 10x better for GW2.

I used to have i3 2100 and i could play the game on medium – high settings, but i had lag ( even on lower settings ) in WvW and when i turn around fast in Lions Arch.

So i decided to go for a diffrent CPU, and i wanted to get the i5 3750k but i already have a good GPU GTX 560ti so the integrated CPU graphics were not needed and i ended up with the i5 3350 P its similar to the 3750 but u need a Graphics card.

And it only costed 157 euro..

My setup is now

W7 64 bit
Asus GTX 560 Ti CUII
i5 3350P
8g ram

I can play the game on max settings in every part of the game with 80 FPS in WvW and 35 FPS in Lions Arch, and that for a good price! Thats what i wanted to share with you guys who are maybe thinking of upgrading their computers

Its not the rig, Anet confirmed its a server – client issue.

But i take back what i have said that this new culling works good for me.

In big zergs it still doesnt load all the characters, later you see them render in first the green tin people.. and then normal. But in big attack formation they are still invisible.

Hope Feb patch will fix this, or im sorry.. then im gone from WvW

I seriously dont have any problems with the culling atm, maybe its based on our different hardware.. but i have some lag in big fights, but thats because i use i3.. but i do see the zergs, they change into the color of your server like tin ppl..

This patch did wonders to me.. for me its ok

I have no idea why you ppl hate them for the culling fix, for me it works out great! I can see the enemy comming towards me now.. if they are with a large group their server color shows up with no armor.. they look like little green,blue,red tin mans.. and it really helps me!

Its way better then invisible people, i complain alot too about stuff in this forum.. but that has to do with WvW queue and population.. because i do think that is bugged atm, and no responce on that is kinda odd..

But dont say culling is very bad now, for me it works out great.

I loved the ORB part, hope it will come back..

But this time without stat bonusses, and maybe a good idea for Anet?

Make the keep that has the orb a beautifull golden keep or something so we can show off with it! but not extra stats, or double the quaggan patrols or something

Yesterday i was in Desolation server, 1 hour and 30 minutes queue on all borders! I play this game for WvW, and i have fun with it.. But after waiting for so long i just ALT+F4 the game..

Desolation Queues keep on growing and growing and i dont want to move to a less populated server because i made all friends here and i am not a server hopper. Before we just had max 20 minutes queue time and im ok with that. But longer then an hour, i mean come on..

Then atleast show a number how many ppl are waiting, so i can Alt F4 earlier instead of waiting for so long.
