I really can’t comprehend what people’s problem is here. I’m failing to understand why in the world you would want to go discover every single recipe if you know for a fact that you know the recipe and can produce the weapon/armor/etc at any given time. He stated that he doesn’t care about the XP, then why go through all the trouble of doing it?

Was so excited to read that Zodiac weps were making a come back, even if I would have had to deal with kitten RNG or grinding lvl 10 quest for weeks. Then I logged in. As a GW1 vet, I love the look of most of the Zodiac weps, from GW1. The new styles to them for GW2 aren’t bad per se, but they hardly resemble the original set at all. It’s is fairly disrespectful to the artwork and design of the original weapons. Every update there is false excitement leading to major disappointment.

I don’t know about that 48-52 is pretty close. I am actually impressed Anet was able to balance the two so well.

I, personally would like to see some sort of numerical proof, other than x votes total 48/52 percentiles. A graph trend of the votes being put in would be nice. Staying consistent 48/52 over nearly two weeks is absurd, especially considering the fact that casual players outnumber the hardcore.

Anet clearly planned from the start to do something with the Thaumanova Reactor considering the third book in the series was originally planned to be about CoE, which in turn would have reflected on the TR. If that had gone off as intended everyone would be happy right now, lore about TR would be out and Abbadon fractal would be ours!

This epic blunder will continue to go on and on and on, because as anet devs have already said, our decision matters! The horrible decisions Kiel will make while on council will be a constant reminder how much of a bad decision this was. Thank you for finally introducing permanent content, effectively splitting the GW2 community. While we’re at it, can we bring back Luxon and Kurzicks? That was and would still be more fun than #Ellen vs #Evon :/

52/48 breakdown seems a bit too convenient. I’d bet money that anet probably already know which candidate is going to win and did so by the flip of a coin.

Living Story up until now took 3 days to complete, but now they added achievements that take hours upon hours to finish (southsun survival 2500 points). I cry thinking about having to still finish that.

Like I said last time they nerfed an infinite farming event, some one please send me a PM when they new event is discovered. I would love to farm out my t6 mats for legendary rather than have to buy them.

We moved 4 weeks ago, and had a new guild bank again. It went missing 2 days ago, please post if you know anything about it’s whereabouts!

This is pathetic, just because its been a year since the party bugs in beta doesn’t mean we need to celebrate by bringing them back. 45mins to get 5 players into a fractal is kittening terrible. And heaven forbid they DC then everyone is screwed.

So, some one mentioned SoS as a server that does it, any others that do it a lot? I’d love to join in the money making!

Why should we risk being disappointed when we know for a fact that the Fall of Abaddon would be epic? We’ve had 6 months of rather unimportant Living Story. Up until the Bazaar of the Four Winds they have been irrelevant. I’m hoping you take the right direction with the Zephyrites, but am prepared to be let down as usual.

Just wow, KISS is such a lucky guild to be allowed to join such an amazing server. I’ve only been here a little over a week and it is clear to me that the other servers are jealous. Why else would there be so many complaints about it? Our measly guild is lucky to be carried by the SoR community! Wait… if we are the bandwagon guild that people are making us out to be, why do others complain we are here? We should be pathetic loot bags at their feet if that were the case!

People need to grow the kitten up. It is a game. But that is no reason to not be serious. I join WvW at mid-late EU and play into AM prime time mostly, and from what I’ve seen there is plenty of “coverage” on both servers. Of course, this won’t be perfect everyday. The majority of the fights I, personally, as in not speaking for my entire guild (got that?) encountered were even 1 to 1 or tipped in favor of the enemy. Yes, there were fights where we clearly outnumbered, I’m not going to deny that. At the same time I’m not going to claim “lol we kicked kitten when they had 3x our numbers” because that is almost never true.

As I said in a previous post, KISS didn’t plan to come to T1 to kitten up the balance, and like others have pointed out, last week was a very close fight. We moved over 100 people over in the first day. If you can’t accept it, would either of you fine servers like to dish out 5000g to move us again, to then be forever known as a server that pays guilds to join?

I’m glad I have been able to get involved in WvW lately, it comes with the drama I’ve missed so much from the GW1 SC community

Posting this expecting to be flamed.

KISS came from a T4 Euro server that fought German blobs for 3 months straight. I’m not speaking for the guild saying this, but I, personally, don’t think we are on par with some of the other guilds on SoR. We were are used to large numbers, but they were all bad players. The majority of those German servers were terrible in open 1v1 or 2v1 fights, and yes they did outnumber us 3v1 at points. Now we face large numbers of highly skilled T1 players, and we’ll figure out how to step it up.

As for the decision on SoR, it isn’t like we sat down and said, “okay, how can we kitten up the NA T1?” No, our fearless leakitten ops on and casually informs us “Hey, we’re moving servers.” If you want to know why we chose SoR, ask him, because none of us have any real idea :P

Been here 4 days and I’m loving the fights, on and off the forums.

Not even sure how this is possible, but my game is behind a full minute compared to real-time play, anything I do does not take effect for almost a full 60 seconds. Skill lag is one thing, trying to anticipate what I need to do a minute from now the entire time is kittening ridiculous.

So, because this issue has been present since release, can someone just PM me what the new farming spot is? I cba to read 2-4 pages on 4 different threads.

RNG boxes is the only way Anet know how to introduce new skins at the moment. Not sure how they could forget that there are other ways.

So, think anet would give me a fused dagger if i sent them $50? Based on their current plans its obvious they just want money…

I would prefer this stays, else how will I ever farm the BILLIONS of gold I need to GAMBLE for items so kindly dangled in front of us by Anet.

If Anet decided RNG sale would be profitable, I would NOT have any objection. Hey, this game is already without any subscription fee! I can easily let go a few “rare” skins which have absolutely NO advantage in game play. Let those want them pay for them, I see it a win-win situation to almost everybody. I have to contradict you. Tons of players are upset over the fact that they didn’t receive the weapon skins. Anet is only hurting their rep because word spreads easily when there is criticism. And again I bring up the fact that Legendaries are just “rare skins.” They do nothing for you but enhance appearance and give a few achievement points. I don’t understand why players can’t choose to work toward previous “rare skins” from events such as fused/wintersday/halloween/and soon to be scelerite weapons.

If you want them to stop, stop buying it. Yes, you want the weapon skins/minis/ whatever from the chest, but the surest way to get them to stop is to show that this money grab isn’t working on the populace anymore. If people keep spending that much money on RNG, even if they hate it, nothing will change. They’re getting the money from it. That’s all that matters.

Ye I have to agree, I can only be kitten with myself for being a dunce and spending money on a 0.02% chance at getting something. When you pay for something you should get exactly what you pay for, paying for an incredibly low chance to get something is daylight robbery and I should have known better.

I probably won’t make the same mistake again though. Anet won’t be seeing any money from me for quite some time :P

do you pay for a weapon skin or do you pay for a chest that MIGHT have a weapon skin in but you did not pay for a skin tho
that means that you did not get robbed off you choice to take the gamble for a weapon skin as thats what you want but you did not buy the skin meaning that if you dont get the skin its not a rip off;)

the F/F skins where ok looking and the same is the new ones but if i get some sure ill have them but its not something ill go for partierly

Bring them back, put them in the gem store for 800 gems, leave it up for 2-3 weeks. You make money like you want, and the players are actually happy about something…

I completely agree, there really should be ways to buy them directly through the trading post. Anet have always said that you will never have to spend real money if you don’t want too via the gem system. The only problem with that is gem prices are ridiculous as is, and keep going up every time there is a new event. And every time there is a new event there is at least 1 item I desire. As time has gone by, each event I’ve invested more and more gold into gems, and very rarely real money, and have yet to actually get any of those items.

In all honesty I’m wondering whether Anet will concede to the players or keep being greedy. In the span of 1 day I went from not wanting to play the game excited for the new content. Only to be given the middle finger when Fused Weapons were taken out. GG Anet.

Currently it’s incredibly dull on GW2, and I think others would agree that the drama from these WvW “discussions” is quite entertaining.

Aurora Glade, unable to log into any characters in LA. Ranger is in Gandarra Fields and has a huge load screen just to DC soon after. First time I really felt like playing in the last two weeks

So, I was originally hoping for Riverside to win last week, mainly because I’d been camped in EB JP by BB multiple times last week, but after all the QQing from Riverside here, I could care less.

Honestly, people need to get off their high horses and remember that 1) others see this as warfare, anything goes (within the realms of anet’s rules) and 2) it’s a game, get over it.

Riverside, it is quite obvious your upset over this, therefore take it out on us this week, don’t come in here shaming our server’s members and making us look pathetic. Man up, kick our kitten and move on.

Best way to avoid death is to have a crystal in hand and move to the left side of the area (if facing toward maw) I believe the bug has to do with the animation of throwing the crystal. If you are standing to far to the right, the crystal is thrown way before the maw’s attack actually hits.

You have to remember that there is lore in this game, and these battlegrounds were once used in history. We are fighting in the mists, which allows you to travel through time and space. Creatures would have been alive back then and just as much an annoyance.

Shout-out to the Riverside Guardian from DTK, fun fight in Anzalias Pass, and I was only going to hide in there for fun

The event hasn’t been fixed yet and the reason why they have refused to say anything about it is because it’s not a bug from what I can tell. If there are enough people the wall spawns glitched, it’s a scaled-up mechanic it seems. When there are only 5-10 people at the event it spawns perfectly normal.

So now we have 2 Mesmers run in, no prob :P
