New CDI?

Whenever Chris does get the CDI posted, it’s our responsibility to ensure it doesn’t turn into an Ascended shouting match.

Many individuals are going to be poking holes in Ascended gear and Vertical Progression. The much more important feedback that Anet could act upon would be ideas of Horizontal Progression, to fit within the existing systems and interfaces already in place.

Essentially…let’s all ensure we don’t whine, complain, nitpick, tear apart, etc…our concerns with Ascended Gear/Vertical progression, without providing alternative Vertical Progression ideas or campaigning ideas for increased Horizontal Progression. The problem/concern/issue (take your pick) is known. Let’s uncover reasonable solutions.

Looking forward to this CDI more than any of the others thus far

Arenanet's stance on Youtube content ID

There’s no way Google/Youtube could have intended for their copyright filter whatever the hell automated system to block celebrities with millions of views and subscribers without notice.

If they did it individually, yeah, that’s different, but most of this is being caused by an automatic content filter

I’d chalk it up to buggy software/poor implementation. Either way, it’s a dumb move on Youtube’s part and I, like many others, am interested in Arenanet’s stance and/or policies on the change.

This may not be a popular opinion, but I think we need more stealth changes, possibly even more significant ones. Imagine a dungeon run for the umpteenth time and suddenly there’s a new type of mobs, or a new boss (or changed skills on existing bosses), new events or a complete change in path? In a game that features the Living Story this would fit in quite well.

To Grenth with the same old same old! I say shake it up regularly, catch people by surprise and keep them on their toes!

This could be fun in WvW as well, for example if there were unheralded changes to tower and keep layouts for example that would make people have to figure out new defenses and offenses on the fly.

Unannounced changes to mechanics would work in this manner, in that the text below the mob’s portrait would probably be updated to hint at the new mechanics. I too would enjoy these kinds of unannounced changes to slightly tweak the functionality of different bosses or encounters in a very visible manner.

Unannounced changes to numbers (especially invisible numbers like scaling or recharge times of monsters) is never a good thing, as a player can never be certain if there was a change at all, or if unskilled play is to blame.

Seems like people really enjoy answering questions so I’ll throw out a few more.

How big do you expect a squad to be?
What kind of content is a PvE commander most useful?
Is money a good enough gate for commander tags?

Just a note from a purely wvw perspective. Talking about how big a squad should be. The potential changes being made here if squad management comes into the picture really presents the possibility of pushing grouping in wvw away from 60,70,80+ people on one player towards smaller squads based on having a reasonable number of players visible on a squad and group management window or overlay.

Just a thought as I always like to encourage players not to ball massive numbers in one place as much as possible

and yep erm 30 seems reasonable for a squad tbh (purely personal answer)

I’m in agreement with Screenager on this one.

The element that I feel most people aren’t considering when they ask for 50+ people in a Commander’s squad is the UI.

First off, I don’t think Anet wants to design a fully flexible UI frame that can fit up to 50 people and grow/shrink in size based on the number of players in the frame and customizations by the user. I sure as hell know I’d hate to design such a thing in a game that’s designed on field awareness and watching your opponent, as opposed to staring at bars and panels. Seriously, a 50 person UI frame would have to cover a 4th of the screen to be large enough to see, display each player, and actually present meaningful information.

Now…imagine some of the suggestions of “Oh, you should be able to have the whole map in your squad!” Ideas like these don’t think about the future. There would be no possible way to make a UI frame to support that.

To prevent UI clutter, I too would have to limit a squad at 30 people. Squads that are coordinating together can communicate via the Commander chat tab. Commanders could have the option of granting privilege to Lieutenants to also post in this tab. Anyone would have visibility into the tab, but only Commanders and Lieutenants have speaking privileges. The tab could be added as a filtered selection to appear in the Main chat tab as well (or any tab the user desires).

i’d say, like mentioned before in this thread, that the need for differenting between tags (color coded) is paramount.

I also sincerely believe that giving the commander a flat out 10% buff to Vitality, Healing Power and Toughness along with -25% condition duration should be added at the expense of making each WvW map limited in the number of commanders. As an example, say 8 commanders. This means you can have several guild groups with the tag up, yet you can’t muster a zerg of players that just want to abuse the buff. The reason i think there should be a buff, is because the commander, in a WvW setting is a highly valued target, and if found within the zerg, will be the center of attention. It would also help less tankier professions like mesmer, thief and elementalist to better survive on the frontlines without having to sacrifice every bit of utility and dps in order to tank.

This ‘all or nothing’ attitude is fine for what we have now (because ‘all’ is virtually ‘nothing’…) but if we start to add things like group buffs, increased survivability in friendly zergs, reduced costs for upgrading siege equipment, and other things that actually set a commander apart for building and directing squads, we benefit from some sort of progression scheme, and progression fueled by something other than Gold.

Please God, never let anything like this happen! This would be horrendous for the game!

I’m in agreement with Prysin on this one. Commanders are by no means any more powerful in terms of stats or player skill than some random PuG found out in the field, and it should remain that way.

The strength of a commander comes with the ability to lead by example, not through artificial enhancements like buffs or stat increases. I would be extremely confused and disappointed if any kind of “power or stat increase” were granted to Commanders, either in the existing system or the development of future systems.

With that in mind, I’ll just state that I’m strongly against the idea of implementing Commander perks for current WvW Ability Points. In fact, I’m against any kind of time-based requirement/progression through the use of WvW rank and XP. Good commanders exhibit themselves through their personality, optimism, and tactics.

  • One player above mentioned the automatic gain of “Commander Perks” when a player reaches WvW rank X, Y, and Z. If some sort of time-based progression system was considered necessary for Arenanet’s plans for Commander improvements, something similar to automatic perks that increase the Flexibility of the commander, and not his overall power would be acceptable in my eyes.

Malchior.5042

What if you still acquired the current tag by spending 100g, but you upgraded to new shapes via the WXP system?

I’m not sure I like the idea of a abilities and icon unlock system to be honest. To be a good commander all tools should be available to them. New commanders would be at a disadvantage, and I think it would be difficult to be able to level up after other commanders have the new toys, players would want to follow only the “experienced” commanders.

To be a commander is to be a leader, the tools that come with the commander tag should be bought with the 100g, to be a good commander is to build your reputation, not an xp bar.

100% in agreement with what Chidori has said.

Being a commander is not about earning tools to lead, it’s taking the initiative to lead in the first place. Even commanders who are new, bad, inexperienced (take your pick), when these people tag up in WvW, they choose to be recognized as an individual that is willing to lead the masses. The different methods, tactics, personality, and even level of skill of each commander can be questioned by players, but noone can question the commander’s initiative to accomplish a task in WvW.

The current squad perks are very minimal, Izzy, with only /supplyinfo being used most of the time.

The markers are a neat concept, but as mentioned by ptitminou, they take too much time in the heat of battle. If the markers could be set up within the mini-map, without having to go to the world map, that’d be a big help. Perhaps we could even establish hotkeys for each marker? (Right click=display dropdown window for marker selection. Shift+Right Click=Attack Objective. Alt+Right Click=Defend Objective. Ctrl+Right Click=Stack Here/Form Here)

Also, if squads keep the current limit of 20, I definitely feel some UI element of just a player’s name and their health bar for the commander to see each person in the squad would go a long way. Of course, additional elements like active buffs could be considered, but I’d be concerned with UI overload.

Just a framed window of up to 20 bars (resizeable and able to be moved anywhere on the screen if possible) that uses the current simple party UI would be ideal.

Malchior.5042

As a PuG commander in both PvE and WvW, I would like to present a few extra “ranks” or “tiers” of commanders which would better represent the ideas of different colored tags that most people here have posted.

  • Rank 1 – The current Blue Dorito.
The existing Blue Commander can stay as a 100g bought item, just to serve as a very quick display that this individual has “made a down-payment” per-se and is invested into learning how to lead players in Guild Wars 2. This also serves as a quick alternative to guilds either in PvE or WvW who simply use commander tags just as a visual gathering point.
  • Only after achieving rank 1 can players branch into the new ranks of commanders.
  • Rank 2a – PvE Commander – Red Dorito.
This branch of commander could be locked behind a requirement such as “Kill Tequatl X number of times” or “Stop Y number of Scarlet invasions.” It would show to identify the individuals who have experience in these large open-world encounters that have begun to creep into the game through the Living Story. Alternatively, a crazy Laurel cost could be assigned to obtain the Red Dorito, after already obtaining the Blue Dorito. I don’t prefer this method, as a player could obtain Laurels through other methods and not truly understand large-scale PvE.
  • I tried to imagine different types of Commanders in WvW as Prestige Classes in Dungeons and Dragons. Each commander exhibits an individual area where they are skilled in. One guy may know all of the best treb spots in the Borderlands, but he doesn’t have the charisma or the tact to lead a zergbust group in the open-field. Occasionally, commanders are skilled in multiple areas of the map and the play of WvW, but most often, the current situation usually calls for different styled approaches of either attack or defend.
  • Rank 2b | Defender – WvW Commander – Orange Dorito.
Requirement – Defend X number of objectives successfully (defense event completions as recognized by the event tracker). This requirement could be further broken down into towers, keeps, and Stonemist. The idea is that when a Commander turns on his Orange tag, or an orange tag calls for supply on a given location, this guy knows something’s coming and he’s already got a plan to deal with it. Granted, his plan may not work, but he’s showing the initiative to either prepare before the threat arrives, or to shore up defenses early to prepare for threats in the distant future.
  • Rank 2c | Assaulter – WvW Commander – Yellow Dorito.
Requirement – Successfully capture X number of objectives (X should be higher than that of defender, given the ability to quick-flip tier 1 towers and even keeps). Once again, this can be split to require X towers, Y keeps, and/or Z Stonemists. When this commander says, “We’re taking Hills Keep,” they mean to put a decent effort in doing so, even if current map numbers are low. These are the people who not only enjoy speaking up, directing map flow, and leading zergs to capture objectives, but excel at doing so!
  • Rank 2d | Disrupter/Skirmisher – WvW Commander – Purple Dorito.
Requirement – Kill X Dolyaks and/or Sentries, Capture Y camps, and destroy Z pieces of siege. Destroy Z pieces of siege could be swapped out for “Earn Borderlands Bloodlust X times.” (tracked by event completion of ruins capture/defense and successful claim of Borderlands Buff).
  • These are the havoc specialists who operate in enemy territory to cause disruption and chaos behind enemy lines. I know it’s easy to solo a camp or take a small group and just circle the Borderlands capping camps, but imagine this…a dedicated disruption specialist leading a squad of people to capture each Borderland camp simultaneously!
  • Without a scout of some sort in the area, it might as well look like a large guild is doing a supply run to prepare for some golem rushes or build all the trebuchets in the world to bomb Stonemist. That’s the idea behind the Disruption commander. This is a person who can get into enemy territory, get the job done fast, and perhaps even sow a little discord with regards to how momentum is flowing across the map. Who knows, that simultaneous cap stunt may pull a 50+man guild off of EB to prepare for the “inevitable attack” on Bay.
  • Acquiring any 2 of the above WvW commander branch ranks unlocks Silver Dorito (perhaps even a title, something like General of the Mists)
  • Acquiring all 3 of the above WvW commander branch ranks unlocks Gold or Diamond Dorito, with possible title of Grand Marshal of the Mists.

Anyway, whether in a hierarchy of tiers, or just a player-designated role within the existing commander system, I highly suggest some way to show the different strengths and merits that all of the existing WvW commanders have. Thanks for reading this post and best of luck to Arenanet with improving the commander system!

December 10th Balance update

in Engineer

Posted by: Malchior.5042

Malchior.5042

Hey Jon,

Regarding Engi traits, is there any kind of Gadgets Trait that Engis could get? No gadget trait exists currently to make the lesser used gadgets like Utility Goggles or Battering Ram seem appealing.

  • I was thinking Power Shoes could be moved into Adept Inventions, and if it must swap with something, Cloaking Device could go to Master. Then, Power Shoes be changed to something like “Cybernetic Enhancements – When activating a gadget, gain 3s of Quickness” (either no or very low ICD).
  • The balance of the trait will be that most gadgets have high cooldowns and function on gaining the right positioning to achieve their maximum effectiveness (Rocket Boots, Slick Shoes, Battering Ram). If an Engi chooses to take 2 or 3 gadgets, then that Engi is sacrificing a kit to be a one-trick pony of Burst Damage, or has no key defensive abilities (yeah, 2 stunbreaks, but no kit utility).
  • With Inventions on my mind, I’ve always wondered what is the point of Stabilized Armor as a stand-alone trait. I’ve only ever seen it used in conjunction with Protection Injection for 53% less dmg sustained while stunned. Since Protection Injection serves as the passive CC defense for Engi, I propose some sort of functionality change with Stabilized Armor. I’m not quite sure what yet…
Coglin

Deadly Mixture Allow this trait to have an added effect to FTs Flame Jet. That is the single worst thing about the FT is that FT does the same damage as the bomb auto attack, but with 3X the cast time.

  • I quite like Coglin’s suggestion for Deadly Mixture here! The sheer slowness of the FT (and the fact Flame Blast/Detonate Blast isn’t a blast finisher…it has blast in its name) is the only reason I don’t use Flamethrower more often! Would it be too imbalanced to grant a similar behavior to Fumigate, like Protection to Self+Allies on cast/tick/or final hit (whichever works best)?
  • I’m trying so hard to think up ways to make Firearms better, but the core issue of easily accomplishing any kind of content in GW 2 right now…AoE is too strong. When you want AoE, you go explosives, simple as that. To make Firearms useful, it would have to be given more AoE, which I don’t want, or it would have to be turned into a high-risk, high-reward single target burst line (which it is in some aspects).
  • Honestly, I would remove Rifle Mod entirely and merge it with Rifled Barrels. To ensure the messaging of the trait and the functionality isn’t mixed (since Rifle Mod only adds dmg to rifles and harpoon guns), Rifle Mod would apply to Pistols as well. If 10%+range is too strong, then 8% or 5%. Now with an open Master trait, a new, more Valuable Firearms trait can be made. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone, making both a better Adept and Master trait.
  • This would create a neat little choice of what the Engineer is trying to gain out of that first (or last) 10 points spent.

Fireforged for Kit Utility builds
Sitting Duck for Control builds
Infused Precision for synergy with Invigorating Speed
New and Improved Rifled Barrels for more Raw Damage/Burst Builds
Hair Trigger for more Utility/Uptime of Firearms Control skills

  • Leg Mods is good for WvW, but maybe not 20 points good. Perhaps drop to 10 in Tools, so it becomes a choice between Speedy Kits? The skill choice is – do you plan to run away and not get caught, or do you plan to just quickly shrug off any control? As for the swap, perhaps the almighty Kit Refinement could be taken to Master, with some minor buffs to its effectiveness/numbers to compensate.

That’s all I got right now! Thanks for being so open with us Jon, and good luck with the Colloborative effort!

Zerging is getting ridiculous

in Tower of Nightmares

Posted by: Malchior.5042

Malchior.5042

It’s a double-edged sword.

Arenanet could take all of the achievements and increase their values for completion x100, but then everyone would complain about it being too grindy, and casuals wouldn’t stand a chance.

We could leave achievements at their current value, but as you’ve indicated, the presence of day 1 Content Zergs allows most players to rush the content. This leaves those players who rushed feeling empty and not satisfied with the pacing.

There is no easy way to solve the dilemma, despite what anyone may say. The one area I can see that would add more time length to each piece of content, would be if each release had a dungeon, group instance, or any kind of improved difficulty that would take multiple attempts for SMALL GROUPS to accomplish. Anything that is open world can ultimately be nullified by numbers, so it would have to be instanced.

It’s a delicate balance Anet is trying to strike.

How awesome it is to fail.

in Tequatl Rising

Posted by: Malchior.5042

Malchior.5042

Watching the BG video, most of their DPS people DID’NT dodge the waves and stayed in the poison and went down multiple times. It was actually kinda sad that basically all it took to defeat him was 100+ people standing as close together as possible, and 6 competent people on the turrets that knew to hit Teq with 2 every time it was up and to cleanse/buff the zergball as much as possible. Oh and a few people to kill the risen around the turrets..

Then you haven’t paid enough attention to what was going on in the video. So let me explain:
Skills that have the mechanic “hit large-areas-multiple-times-randomly” are broken on objects and world bosses because those have huge hitboxes, so they’re going to get hit for the (almost) full potential damage of those attacks:

  • Ice Bow’s Ice Storm creates about ~20 icicles that fall on random spots for 700-1500 damage each – that’s 14.000-30.000 damage in a single skill in about 4 seconds.
  • Meteor Shower creates 24 meteors, each of which hits for 1000-2000 damage, and usually 12 hit the boss – that’s 10.000 damage in a single skill.
  • Lightning Hammer’s Lightning Storm hits for 350-750 about 10 times – that’s 3500-7500 free damage in 1,25s.
  • Fiery Greatsword’s Fiery Rush has a fire trail which deals similarly insane damage to the above.

In comparison, a full Hundred Blades with 20+ might stacks does 5000-ish damage in 3,5s.

So if we assume there are 15 elementalists (there were more than that), that means 30 ice bows every 1min. Let’s assume every Ice Bow uses Ice Storm 1.5 times (some people use it twice, some don’t): that’s 630.000-1.350.000 extra damage provided by only 15 elementalists (not counting Meteor Showers and Fiery Greatsword attacks).
And even with that broken damage scaling, they only had ~2,5 minutes left. That HP is just too much, especially without those skills that clearly don’t behave they way they were intended to.

The skills are behaving EXACTLY the way they’re intended to. That’s part of the strategy required to achieve victory. Now that you’ve figured it out, I hope other servers figure it out as well.

Look at event tracker. Go to zone. Kill things. There is no NPC hand-holding with this event. Just talk to Vorpp to get it started then jump into an invasion.

If you don’t utilize 3rd party sites, at least read the patch notes.

Must be a bug. They’ll probably fix it when Queen’s Speech releases, so they don’t have to do another hotfix.

Awesome Hold on GoM hills guys. By the end we had 5 NSP players and me in an omega. GoM sure had to bring everyone to the table to get it back!

sadly golems are too slow to go between gates, next time ill make 2

also, gg wvw, 40+ take a keep from 5 defenders and you do a repeat /sit. very sporting… and it still took you 3-4 hours!

Oh it took longer than that Smit xD! Os and AS have been holding hills keep since last night, even getting a waypoint on it!

Tele can tell ya more of the shenanigans that happened last night.

Thanks for keeping up the defense during Euro hours! brofist

Good fight to the Boss Thieves, Ele, and Warrior at Redvale a couple minutes ago. I had tried to get some ppl to flip that camp, and it was only after all 4 of you came after me that they pushed in.

Also, just in general…there are a LOT of glassy thieves from both GoM and DR this week. I play a condi build with only 15% crit damage, so when a Grenade Barrage can burst down a target 60-80%, that’s a new level of glass cannon.

Also, holy kitten DR, you guys zerg HARD!!! It took all ZoS had to hold you guys off in EB tonight!

Can’t wait to see what the morning has in store! Hopefully the no drama streak continues

Will the new reset effect the servers enough to make a difference?

The new time kitten the living kitten out of NSP’s WvW presence.

That is all.

The fact that so-called “wvw guilds” on NSP barely put any buff on DISGUST me. Switching? So switching to other guilds that never put buffs on make such significant difference! " “Best dependable position”? If there is +5 supply buff on EB keep, I am sure defending other towers NSP owns will be much easier. But, you know some selfish guilds never do that. I assumed that you, being a commander, should know about the important of eb keep as a reinforcement center, but… ehh, well, I guess you don’t.

I was happy about keep falling from you hand because I thought finally some “real” wvw guild can claim it and do all the buffs… umm alright seems like another selfish guild claimed it…

Please chill, I am not solely blaming TFG for doing this. I am blaming most of the wvw guilds on this server.

Since you want to call out the entire server, sir, allow me to further enlighten you how upgrades work in a guild.

Influence

Guild Upgrades for keeps is not something they can just turn on at any given time. It is a one use deal, that when activated has an active time of 12 hours. They can’t queue multiple Supply Upgrades and immediately pop another after the first has run out.

Also, see how those upgrades cost 200 influence. That’s only to get the upgrade started in the guild queue. After that it takes 16 hours before the upgrade can be used at a claimed keep. Even with a Guild Workshop, the max upgrades any guild can have queueing at one time is two unless they use Contract Asuran Outsourcing, which allows one upgrade to begin building without taking a queue slot. Contract Asuran Outsourcing takes 30 hours to build.

Every guild is trying to work up through the Guild Events to do Bounties, Rushes, Challenges, and Puzzles. Each of those unlocks takes a week to build, which uses up one of those valued queue slots in the build queue.

Also, if you want to argue they can just use influence to speed up the process…a 200 Influence supply upgrade costs 500 Influence just to progress it 25%. Guilds need to build influence so they can hope to unlock the new Guild Content.

So please, next time you want to call out the entire server or its contributing guilds on such a complicated issue, I suggest you do some research first.

Big props to the 5-10 LH group that held against the 15+ random NSP we had crashing against you a few minutes ago at greenvale. I never expected stacking/turtling to be a viable tactic for smaller numbers like that.

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to take Jscull’s or osif’s bait…

Any PAXA you see in this thread is on Henge of Denravi. Some of them just seem either too lazy or unaware that NSP still exists in their signature. (Unless they randomly transferred back again.)

I know one thing for sure, If PAXA continues to post under the guise of an NSP guild in an attempt to start flame wars and close threads, I’ll start making reports.

Also, any of those other troll baits/rants seen throughout this thread and the previous. If they don’t have a guild in their signature, then they either

1. Don’t have a reputable guild
2. Can’t represent said reputable guild because talking kitten would hurt the guild’s reputation or…
3. Are just a random who plays for the good fight and likes boasting of his/her accomplishments.

Have a nice day everyone, and keep up the good fight in the Mists!

Oh man, the things I would say to this…. There is no bait, just trying to make sure that those who are gloating about spamming #1 with 20+ other people know that it doesn’t equate to any sort of skill.

btw:

I know one thing for sure, If PAXA continues to post under the guise of an NSP guild in an attempt to start flame wars and close threads, I’ll start making reports.

Looks like a threat. I don’t think that’s welcomed on these forums…

And you are doing it in the guise of a NSP server. Change your signature (and have your guildmates change theirs) and you can troll/bait/define skill to SF all you want.

But you are not a NSP server

SS of A-net employee who was in the “invulnerable” golem, there was 2 of them i’m trying to get more Screens

(Was supposed to be posted in last topic)

Hah.
I’m in the picture.

But towards what you were saying.
I see no evidence of invulnerability in that golem.
And infact none of our golems were dmg’ed on the outer gate. Since we sweeped everything and then just built more.
Pic of Anet dude is 1st attached.

Devs need to play their own game in a live environment don’t they?
But good job today guys. That was a tough fight.
Well.
I mean.
That many golems and you can’t do much to stop us :/ So..
Was good try.

Now pipe down with all this talk of SF being super uber cool.
And lets not get another thread locked.

Awe yeah!!! Photobombed Bird’s screen like a champ!

SF’s night coverage is pretty solid for such a low-tier server (reminds me of first month release levels). I’m interested to see how the matchup evolves over the weeks.

Awesome fights in EB right from the beginning. HoD and NSP fighting at Ogre’s side going on 2 hours.

Did you NSP guys like that mes that kept jumping in and downing your back-line, then getting away? Yeah, I like her too. ~

How come you didn’t let us finish our trebuchet?

We could have had a good fun siege fight with your fortified tower, but the portal bomb ruined it twice.

Definitely some of the most engaged I’ve had to been in rapid response and smart siege.

I just wish NSP had more numbers to harass across all maps

Good play GASM and PRO at NSP garrison and Bay keep. We BARELY held off the attack at Garrison when everyone panicked, but I saw you guys turn it into instantly taking Bay right from under our noses. We even saw you making mass supply runs between Redbriar and Redvale, so we thought the golems were in there and tried to form an attack on the briar.

Maybe tomorrow NSP can begin some momentum on the other borderlands.

Hey NSP whats up on your side?

Been playing with the unmanned buff all day, is it better for you6 :P

Not really. Klovan and Wildcreek are under constant trebbing, but it’s difficult for DR to push out because of the cover fire from our keep trebs.

We did manage to establish some quick ground trebs to remove the fire from Klovan, which then allowed us to establish 3-4 trebs there. One got taken out, but the other 2 on the supply hut…I’ve never seen a more perfectly placed treb. Literally, we could hit the wall of SM but their trebs on their supply hut and outer wall could not hit us. If it was too short, it’d hit the mountain. If it was the slightest bit long, it’d hit the klovan walls instead.

We dropped SM from 2800 to 200 supply over a 2 hour siege. Over this time, Klovan had regular walls destroyed, reinforced back to full, reinforced walls destroyed, healed back to full from gate upgrade, and finally destroyed again. It was on that last breach of the walls that no less than 50-100 DR stormed Klovan. Since they had to funnel in through the small breaches, we actually held Klovan for 15-20 minutes until the finally overwhelmed us.

However, after that, DR ran into the brick wall that is Jerrifer’s. One of the best towers to hold in EB in my opinion. Full view of below, no high ground for enemy to build siege, and no safe backdoor. At this point, the zerg had grown, and there must have been at least 100 DR bashing at Jerrifer’s. They melted to arrow carts, keep trebs, and keep mortars.

It was an amazing night. I just wish we could have at least attacked SM inner.

(P.S. DR, That was me and a guildie on the Klovan trebs the whole time Good counter with the shield eles. You stormed the tower just as we were planning our next angle of attack )
