“T1 has been fantastic thus far, hopefully everyone is having as much fun as TW is. There really is no need for our threads to be so negative. Every guild is good and every guild plays a role for their server.

I think it’s clear, JQ is #1 without question, SoR and BG duke out for #2, but even #3 is no shame or nothing lost. Only thing that matters is that when you are out there as a guild, you are fighting hard and keep fighting no matter what.

I personally hope, this tier doesn’t change for a while, but if it does, we will welcome what looks like TC into the fray and either SoR or BG will move down, either way, T1 will stay interesting and I think the tier that most people in it are there for the competition more than anything else.

SoR has come a long way from #17 and I’m proud of our server getting to #2, we still have a long way to go and hopefully our slow building of the community with the right guilds and individuals sustains us till the game’s end.

Keep up the good fight JQ and BG, without you guys coming out there strong everyday, TW and SoR would have gotten bored long ago.

Its more like leading for around 6 hours during NA primetime like I said we do 90% of the time. Considering JQ ticks as low as 150 ppt during NA times most nights implies that your NA crew is very weak. Nice try though.

Wait a minute…so you lead 90% of the time during 50% of NA times? So even by SoR math, that puts JQ ahead about 60% of the time in NA times.

That sounds about right, thanks for finally clearing that up for everyone. This helps to explain that 40k gap as well.

This coming from someone who thinks NA timezone lasts for 12 hours throughout the day hahahaha. Oh boy you might want to start educating yourself on how timezones work.

NA playtimes start for most depending on age from 3pm eastern to around 4am eastern. We are talking gamers here. 1a.m.ish pst for example, for my guild when we log off, is about 3a.m. eastern. That’s about 10 to 13ish hours, aka half the day your average NA gamer could be found online.

Smokey we are really sorry you aren’t a threat to JQ yet. Stand in line, we’ll get to you. Tell your weekend NA people not to be down by 30k come Monday, so we can motivate more people to come wvw the other 5 days of the match.

Thanks for all the fun fights on BG BL tonight from Shadow Gypsies. We had the whole map green for a brief moment!

Yes, much fun in BG BL tonight.

Our first take of Garrison involved trebs and 4 superior catapults in a hole in the wall. But when we took it, the wall respawned and swallowed up all our trebs. “Nice one Mance now we lost all our catapults!” (Also swallowed up and trapped 2 a.d.h.d. SG’s)

But luckily an angry BG mob came in right after and took garri back again… So we rushed to Dawns and re-trebbed. Luckily when we got another hole in the wall, our cata’s were all still alive so we got the 2nd take.

Then the “vale wars” began… until 3:30 a.m. Good working with SF/Ward and everyone else as usual. WP up in hills! @@

We are entertaining an offer from SoR that would marry Indo to Glorious Stei for a cessation of hostilities and a continued 2v1 on BG. But since SoR has payed thousands of gold for new guilds to move to their server recently, we are afraid they might be light on the dowry.

If you want a fair fight you go to spvp.

If you want to fight in a war, you go to wvw.

The skill and mind sets are different. A navy seal for example might not be the best cage fighter, but drop a squad (or 1) of them on an open battlefield and the results will maybe differ.

WvW does need maps that are bigger. Drain the HUGE lake in the middle, drop the mobs by 50%, and make the terrain waaaaaaaaaay more 5 man friendly. Also make swiftness not apply if there are more than 6+ friendlies in a 600unit radius or something.

Very solid fighting on SoR BL tonight again, thanks for all the fun fights. I’m not sure why BG insists on ye ol aj on our bay just to have us 2v1 you and lose your hills tactic is all about…

But we enjoyed all the back and forth nonetheless. I think all 3 sides had stopped building siege other than rams by midnight. =)

How was our siege attack on bay from SoR perspective? I think all the defenders should get the [Shellshocked] buff for a couple days hehe. Normally we don’t tangle to much with SoR as we are on BG BL for the most part culling the ex-sos hordes, it has been fun this week though.

Honestly that siege was probably one of the dumbest I’ve ever seen. You let us get two ticks out of that when you could of stomped us quite easily. Thanks for the free points though. We sat there talking about the most random kitten waiting for you guys to actually attack us.

I mean…you crept up to the very supply hut of bay vs….15 players? 2 trebs > 2 acs > 3 Ballistas > 2 Acs >1 Ballista > Into finally taking the keep.

Oh man, sorry but you had alot more than 15. You had a very large zerg that out numbered us initially that we wiped on the outer wall as well. But even if you had as little as 25 or 30 in the last bombardment those not suffering from your psychosis put up a good fight under the conditions.

I suppose they want a shot at all the guilds that left SoS for BG, a little pay back I guess. If you’re on JQ make sure to sign up on the calender for the workshop they will be holding on Saturday. Always nice to learn new tactics!

They posted they would stay on SoS “as long as it’s in T1.” They won’t be in T1 next week. It was very clever of Tysm to leave that particular clause in there imho.

I’m rallying up some donations to help them rebuild influence once they are done xferring, please post on server forum if you would like to help.

You’re saying YOU as in T8, an entire tier, doesn’t have the #‘s to take towers and defend… That’s rubbish. The other servers in that bracket (maybe the other one, as I think one has alot more pop) also have similar #’s and would face the same problem as you.

We 4-5 man keeps all day everyday in T1, so I"m sure it’s possible in T2-T69. Granted it’s vastly more difficult due to the nature of the tier.

I bet the first place team in any Tier gets better rewards than a team in 2nd or 3rd…

JQ is way smexier than VS. Plus they are squares, we keep it dirty in the quarry. @@

If you cared about defending more you might be out of T8…

Also it all scales. Even low population if you have 5 guys on a door, but ONE defender is in there on an arrow cart or a cata you’re not getting in for some time.

Asura haven’t perfected their satellite coverage and drone technology good enough yet to properly updated their elite 21st century soldiers HUD’s with up to the second live feeds…

Oh wait, cannons are the pinnacle of technology thus far.

Now, if you could build a siege balloon with some asura in it that provided the same orange swords thing that would be cool. And 5 mans could get points for taking it out.

I believe every guild that left SoS also posted on the forums they would never leave SoS at one point or another.

The above tactic was rarely used for some reason before the current t1 match up. It’s lame like the rest of the exploits.

In a nutshell this is why both servers are now “stacked.” Both have very stable smash your face pvp cores, and have weathered the cycle of wins/losses since launch without becoming “furry little kittens.” This has made them both very attractive for wvw oriented guilds who just want to wvw and avoid the drama llamas.

I’m really glad BG allowed SoR to come up into T1, so JQ could have a chance to poke the llama farm and share in the delicious tears. I’m a little jealous of BG coming into T1 versus SoR because nobody (after weeks and weeks of practice) makes the llama’s cry like BG does.

To be fair, we’ve only had like 3 weeks of practice so far, so please don’t judge us BG!

Tysm coming over to JQ to shore up our NA versus AGG etc will be a nice addition this week though, should be fun.

You know what I do get surprised by sometimes are Norn/Charr thieves/ele’s. Sometimes it takes a moment to adjust to them when you are used to them being wars/guards etc mostly.

I disagree. As a leader of a nightly 5-10ish man thief group, I frequently say “on target, kill this fat pink/purple whatever norn he’s squishy.”

Then facial hair (there can be only one..) and anyone with a freeeeeking quagan backpack next. Even if they are some crazy bunker build.

I try to kill as many of the enemy and my own side as I can in the best violent, glory inducing, bag-gasm of splendor imaginable.

I also like to berate them in a pirate accent and will yell about their mothers if they fail to bring supply. Mostly admittedly because someone forced me to pin up and I had to stop ganking people. =(
