Except for the last two weekends JQ never does good on the weekends, we can’t compete if coverage is equal and our NA crew is sub par.

But hey, we are just looking for the fights.

Just check out the tier two thread. It has to be the most boring carebearish thread I have ever seen in my life (no offense to TC). Whatever happened to all the hardcore pvpers? Does no one remember DAoC and how fun it was to trash talk each other on the VN boards? It was half the fun of playing the game. And come on its not like we all really hate each other, we are all just playing the game to have fun. People shouldn’t take it so seriously.

All the coolest ex-VN posters are on JQ. Come join the cool kids, I think someone said we are paying 1k gold per transfer or something.

If you guys havn’t noticed by now all we at SoR really care about is the fights. We basically showed that was the case last night in EB when choo farmed you guys in the lord room for like an hour and we all got about 400-500 kills and basically almost lost everything else. Most of our members actually wanted to stay and farm you in SM lord rooms the whole night while we lost everything else on the map and just have a nice blue icon right in the middle because it was really fun, but our commander couldn’t let our waypointed keep get taken, so we pulled out and let SoS take it. The difference between servers is SoR goes where the fight is while JQ and SoS go where the fight isn’t to maximize their PPT. I guess it depends on what you find fun in the game, having a big PPT or having amazing fights. SoR just loves the fights waaay to much and doesn’t play the PPT game like JQ and SoS, which will most likely be our downfall in the long run.

A. To a pvper the word PUG is a 4 letter word. JQ does not have PUG’s, we have people not in teamspeak. JQ is filled with old stupid gamers like my guild, who have the same opinion. Most of the JQ “zerg” are actually little 3-5man guild groups, which form the core of our strength in T1, highlighted by our big bread and butter guilds we’ve always had.

B. Your example above illustrates typical “pug” play. This is frowned upon by any pvper who wants to win in both spvp, tpvp, and wvw, and any objective based pvp game ever made.

C. Have whatever fun you want doing whatever, we do not judge by any means. But the SoR excuse train is getting so big it will need it’s own track soon.

D. JQ is in it for the fights, always has been, longest T1 server ever for a reason. Whoever is over on SoS right now rallying the troops, those guys are in it for the fights. The current fight is a bit overwhelming for SoR, this happens sometimes when a server comes into T1. It happened with BG, and they came back an entirely different animal the next time.

Heheh. My guild was in charge of JQ BL last night from 5pm pst to 12pm pst (and Jael!) There were 12 of us with 3 pins. We were the only organized guild presence on the map. JQ “pugs” as you call them, were actually just our normal JQ community ’Boyz in TS.

So in organized guild #’s you outnumbered us by 5 to 1. Our map was completely green by 10ish PST.

Your whole server team was also wiped open field N of the NW tower, before SoR logged off and handed over bay without resistance.

GG’s though, but our hand played out to well for you last night. I had alot of fun dueling the 3 sos/3 sor left on the map for a couple hours after it turned green down by spawns.

Pretty sure the forum taunting from select members of SoR guilds made JQ want to prove a point this weekend. Two weeks ago it was “JQ doesn’t show up on weekends” last week it was “JQ gets rolled in NA primetime look we have your garrison”. And then there is this weekend where JQ shut up the forum warriors of the last two weeks.

Actually, it is still “JQ gets rolled NA prime time” judging by the silly amount of farming that was done. I just wish some of your larger guilds would stay in the map and fight instead of looking for an easier challenge in another borderland. EMP leaving the zone after a wipe or two is starting to get old.

This is clearly the case. All of the massive bag farming and dying that JQ is doing coupled with all the SoR victories during NA prime is causing less of your casuals to log in and has made you fall behind by nearly 50k by Tuesday…

OH WAIT…that’s not it, is it?

I mean SoS/JQ sometimes we have our little propaganda wars, but there are just some posts from SoR that are just simply delusional. You have another post up the pages about how you are losing because “JQ is bland to play against.” Well duh, losing is bland and it sucks. That’s why winning is more fun kids!

SoS’s moral has also appeared to be making a come back and they are showing more #’s and discipline in the game. This will be my first “pro” SoS comment ever. I BLAME THIS ENTIRELY ON SOR!

HS spammers in larger battles are easy rallys for the other team.

When I do feel like doing this in large battles, I just log on my ranger and rapid fire for 6-10k from 1500 range every 10s or so while out of the scrum and safe from most everything.

Thieves do need HS though, it makes it harder for the good thieves to solo more than 2 or 3 of them.

I’m on SoR and i think JQ is unbeatable just because of how stacked they are. They have good coverage in every timezone.

If you lose in every time zone you’ll also find yourself down by 50k points on a Tuesday most likely.

If you’re on SOR and you didn’t get your 100% completion during the 3 weeks you owned everything on the T2 maps, it’s really no ones fault but your own.

We all got about 5-6 levels on our alts. It’s been a while since the competition on T1 has had a breather to where we could level up some alts during NA times.

As in you’re not going to win this week, and your coverage isn’t as good as ours. This is mainly due to the fantastic community building and atmosphere we have on JQ, thanks for everyone that put in all the hard work.

Also don’t mind the bitter SoS posters to much. Some of them have apparently chosen to kick and scream on the way out of T1. Big emphasis on the scream as they don’t log in to much to fight anymore. =)

It appears SoS is going to lose their 3rd match ever in T1 and are NOT happy about it.

One of our core and oldest guilds on JQ is primarily female, Blinky Pony Army. This hopefully will be our 3rd win in a row in T1 (4th ever) on Gw2 as a server, so I guess you can say girls do just fine in wvw. =) Also my co-gm is a chica and she pwns face nightly.

Well duh, nobody could pass up the 1,000gold per guild we offered! OR, they just wanted to be on a server with a good stable wvw pop that could handle the inevitable dramatic ups and downs of wvw. It appears they made a fantastic choice.

Also we knew this was going to happen and SoS would react this way. That is why last week I posted on our internal server forums that all those JQ players returning from holiday “leave” (we hope you enjoyed the holidays please all pay100gp for the new xfers…) should be prepared for some hatred from some servers if our zerg appeared to be as big or bigger than theirs.

Stabbing the new kid will be a refreshing change of pace.

Are you saying you lacked coverage and #‘s this week and good game JQ? Are you admitting in an odd way that coverage and superior #’s in fact lent you the win for 8 out of 10 weeks prior and you might be a bit disappointed the shoe is on the other foot this week?

Is the challenging situation you refer to being #1 8 out of the past 10 weeks? Or facing equal numbers while coupled with poor server moral and getting stomped by both JQ and BG (who has vastly lower #’s than SoS)?

I’m sure hearing anyone from SoS moaning about lack of coverage and being outnumbered anytime is sweet sweet music to the entire Gw2 community. It is to me most assuredly.

Yesterday during NA prime, Blackgate camped/dominated SoS border land. As one of JQ’s commanders we actively tried to push BG off of SoS BL but could not.

SoS had equal if not more #’s than BG whom was holding SoS garrison and the majority of the map except for Bay.

This was not a result of any transfers. This was a result of BG doing very well in a map, while beating SoS, and holding off JQ.

Taking a beating is usually bad for morale. JQ has been in T1 for many weeks (18? 17?) and this will (if we win) be only our 3rd win ever. SoS will recover I’m sure, and you’ll face your best friends from JQ many more times in WvW during Gw2 =)

There is a guild on SoS that has +1500 members who wvw…one guild. Do the math on your servers wvw #’s.

The theory is great behind the idea, but in practice it just ends up with lower pop servers in wvw getting overwhelmed and higher pop servers playing other games in short order.

You young SoS scrappers will be just fine! This is only the 2nd time you will have lost the trophy in 10 weeks. You still have 8 other “super bowl rings.”

You got beat kid, now dust yourself off and get back in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (p.s. it’s still only Tues, lots of good fights to have yet.)
