Does ANY other class in the game has access to ANY of the above? Didn’t think so.

And this is exactly the reason why the WvW mesmer will never be buffed, because it has a useless set of utility skills.

I know alot of people will disagree that they’re useless, but I’m talking open field combat here, zerg busting, GvG.

Portal, it will only get you killed using it, ye it’s nice for hiding in a keep but how is that going to help me out on the battlefield? And why the hell would I want to teleport golems around?

Mass invis, how is a 10 man cap that gives a reveal buff to everyone that uses their skill right after useful when you run with more than 10 people? It’s a nice skill for 1v1, 5v5, but useless in WvW.

Timewarp used to be a nice skill, sadly it has been nerfed to 50% a while back and now it’s just.. a skill.. mostly just used for a chaos armor field on a 210 second cooldown.

The only one useful (and the only reason GvG teams still run a mesmer) is because it has a veil, and it’s nice to have a 2 second advantage on the enemy.

The thing is, they gave the mesmer all these utility skills and because of that they won’t buff the others. IMO that is a big problem.

You need to be in combat to summon clones, so 30% more speed on your combat speed is going to be about.. ehh.. less than your normal speed.

Gotta be truly bad to complain about the most OP class in the game and the most essential one in organized zerging.

Try playing a warrior. Maye then you’ll see how hard not to rely on a handicap: 8 second teleports/stealth/access to immunity to anything at any time/ clones attacking while you are running or dodging/ 10 sec invulnerability for 2secs on a weapon skill.

Yep..mesmers are truly in bad shape.

They actually are, at least group play mesmers. I totally agree with you that mesmers are strong in duels and even in 5v5 but for world vs world they are close to useless.

My guild has boomed recently in both PvP and WvW and we are now interested in starting up GvG. We are just at the stage of forming our classes/builds.

Right now I’m thinking 15 mesmers reflection/retaliation/mass invis builds. LOL just kidding but honestly we would appreciate some basic guidance in team composition and builds. Not asking for proprietary secrets etc just enough info to accelerate our upcoming appearance onto the GvG scene.

Thanks for that! Yes, we do ask that folks stay on topic to the theme of the Livestream. We don’t want to discourage questions, but our team was moderating the folks spamming “GvG” over and over, which made us miss some great questions incoming about WvW.

Thank you for taking a look into the GvG scene thread, you are the first to recognize our existence, I appreciate it. The reason GvG was being spammed all over is just because everyone before you simply ignores us.

I understand it’s really childish and the stream was not about GvG so our questions were out of place, I apologize, but is there any chance we will get an official reply if “Guild vs Guild” is something Anet is thinking about, considering at all?

Did you catch if the buffs are map specific or WvW/game-world wide?

Most likely map specific as you have to hold 3/5 circles and there are 5 circles on the map he shows, so there must be 5 circles on every map.

So the livestream turned into everyone watching spamming chat asking for a comment on GvG. They were completely ignored. It was literally an entire chat pane filled with “GvG” over and over. Then ANet started muting people who were asking about GvG. I asked three times over five minutes and was muted for 10 minutes.

Instead we get orb capture points. Lovely. Something no one asked for and no one wants. The center of the borderlands map will now turn into a 24/7 endless small-scale brawl. Too bad we already have sPvP for that….

Way to completely ignore your community. So irritated right now.

I laughed my kitten off, the admin was desperatly trying to delete all GvG comments but there were too many, then the word GvG got filtered and if you typed it you got banned for 6 minutes.

It’s sad, but quite funny. At least they can’t say they never heard anyone asking for it..

Oh and for the buffs, it’s going to be that your server has to hold 3/5 capping circles, so if you were going to GvG just let the 3rd server take all the points and it’s ok

So uh, is it bad that I never noticed individual match views could display group comps? That’s pretty cool. Not that anyone uses it, I guess.

It’s something I wanted to try out if people would use it, unfortunatly it’s almost never used so it won’t come back on the new website.

Are you still working on it? Under the merged rankings tab Man Eaters [Lion] guild is still #1. I note they are gone from the EU ranking tab.

Done with reworking the rating system and leaderboards. I ran all the matches up till now (ordered by date) through the system, both the rating system and leaderboard are alot more accurate now and I can say there’s some interesting shifting!

This will also be in for the new website, can’t wait to show it to you guys.

When can we expect to see the new changes?

There seems to be a bug in the ordering as their rating does show correctlty. Will be fixed tonight, long day of work ahead first.

I cant really say when you will see the new changes, when its done, Im working kitten it. Gosh now I now how devon must feel.

It could be anything from a week to a month, just dont pin me down on it and this isnt a promise :P.

Hopefully the orbs won’t give any stat bonusses and if it will I’m sure the community will be able to find a workaround

However, the focus needs to be taken AWAY from the rating, not put more towards it.

This will be the goal of the new upcoming gw2gvg website.

I’ll be honest, the more the discussion about punishments etc get brought up, the more I worry about how intimidating this must seem for a new guild looking to get into the scene.

As I said in my post, there won’t be any punishment added. I’d rather look at rewards.

Take for example, the pre-assigned GvG’s based on matchups. Lets say you’re a new guild looking to get its first taste of GvG, you sign up on the website, Friday comes around, and you get matched up against GD/VII/VotF – realistically, its only going to end one way.

Also in my post, new guilds and lower rated will have their own generator and won’t be able to get matched with higher ranked guilds.

but they shouldn’t be FORCED to fight anyone they don’t want to.

The focus of the website will remain the same, noone will ever be forced to do anything. It will probably going to reward guilds that DO something rather than DON’T or as suggested earlier that it would name and shame as a punishment.

An actual punishment or reward as in rating will never be implemented as this would cause the rating to not be reflective.

If we want this to go anywhere, we NEED the community to grow bigger than it is currently, and that means we NEED to think about any decision that gets made, and how it looks to new guilds looking to get involved in the scene.

At least from my part, for gw2gvg.com any decisions that would impact any guild will be up for discussion before being added.

I would hope there’s some kind of review process for this though. If there isn’t, gw2gvg should make one. One guild shows a video proving the record, and an admin can override the “deny.” Could also be recorded as a black mark against the denying guild…

Heck, I’d be willing to volunteer as a reviewer, if they’re short on people. :-P

The whole reason this is not on the website is because “they’re” is just me and all my time is already going into answering everyone’s questions and creating new features for the website, heck I haven’t been able to raid for 2/3 weeks. Having to watch GvG videos of every match won’t fit my schedule :P.

If there are enough people willing to volunteer I might consider adding this, but I’m affraid this could also create loopholes.

Just wanted to let you guys know what generated matches could look like.

Explanation on how the system would work:

- Matches would be generated every friday night (reset);

- It will select all guilds within your matchup;

- Guilds that have said that they don’t currently accept GvGs will be excluded;

- Guilds on your own server will be excluded;

- You will be able to set the game modes you play (10,15,20,25) – It will exclude all guilds that doesn’t play your numbers;

- If there are multiple choices a guild you haven’t fought in the last 14 days will be preferred over a guild that you did fight in the last 14 days;

- The chosen match will be the guild that has the closest rating to yours;

- The system will start with the guild with the highest rating, so the higher your rating, the higher your chance for a challenging match.

- There will be two tiers, one for guilds with a rating of 1400 and higher and one for newcomer guilds + guilds with a rating of less than 1400.


The following link is the first draft of a system like this.
note: this is not implemented in the website, it’s just to show you guys how it would generate matches and if it’s a smart move to do.

Rating used is the rating from last friday’s reset, the shown generated matches would have been the matches for this week.

- Red is the guild being matched;
- Blue are the possible matches;
- Green is the chosen match.


Pro’s of this system would be that:

- Most guilds will get a challenging match for the week;
- Guilds don’t have to look for a match, it will be given;
- The ladder will stabilize alot faster as more matches happen (especially around the same time) not to mention that guilds will be matched with a guild with the closest rating;
- Newcomer guilds won’t be able to jump right to the top anymore as they will be matched with other newcomers or guilds with a rating less than 1400;

Cons:

- Not every guild will find a match due to having different ammount of guilds per server (For example Piken Square vs Vizunah);


There will not be any punishment for not accepting the challenge, I’d rather look into rewarding the guilds that did accept the challenge in any way, suggestions are welcome.

Anyway let me know what you’d think of a system like this and if you think the generated matches (or the way it is being generated) are ok.

Chiming in: one thing I noticed in GvG is that it promotes heavy booning, with blast multipliers and the likes. I think that’s the reason why ranged can’t propagate well in GvG – retaliation countering multi-shot ranged plays, as well as conditions not even penetrating through with the prevalence of condition time reduction food, almost nullifying spread condi, and weakening duration boosted condi. Just two cents, though.

I disagree with your statement on ranged classes. Although you’re right that retaliation CAN kill you, it won’t happen to a caster that knows what he’s doing. Take for example the meteor shower of the elementalist, yes you can drop it on top of the kill zone where the retal uptime is almost 100% or you can wait for their restack, let a mesmer/necro rip the boons and you’re good to go.

A melee train has good damage for sure, but imo most of the damage comes from the casters, not necessarily direct damage, also conditions and soft cc which will give the melee an easier time.

It’s true that conditions are easily cleansed, but that is where your melee train comes in, to keep the pressure up. Don’t give them time for restacks and they will be very limited to condition removal or at least under heavy pressure.

The reason why you will not get an official reply on what exactly is being done is because

  • GvG is something that will require an entirely seperate team to work on
  • to create maps for GvG
  • to re-balance multiple aspects of spells
  • To create features for group formation
  • To create a score system

Blah blah blah.

So when will this happen? Perhaps in a few years. For now, accept that windmill.

I understand all that, therefore the question is IF and not WHEN.

So now I’m thinking, this is my chance to get an answer on the question that has been asked for months:

“Will there ever be Guild vs Guild content?”

Is it that you guys don’t know yet, because it hasn’t been talked about?

Is the answer no but you don’t want to be the one having to dissapoint us?

Is the answer yes and you want to suprise us with a release?

I think alot of people would be happy if we could get an answer on that question.

The new Gw2 GvG is currently in development and there will be changes to the leaderboard, much like suggested above.

- Leaderboards will show per month, with navigation to previous months.
- Your guild will only show up on the list if you have done a gvg that month.
- Scores won’t reset, with the glicko2 system it would make it impossible for the rating to stabilize.

Thats just one minor change, the entire site is being rebuilt and alot of stuff is going to change or functionalities that lacked are being added.

It will take a couple of weeks more till it’s finished due to my limited time ( this is also why registering your guild can take a bit longer than usual at the moment ).

Anyway I’ll try to keep you guys updated and if you have some idea/feedback just throw me a PM

Its an MMO ffs! Its not supposed to have stuff like beta servers, beta content tested by players and people interaction.

Why? because it’s an MMO?

Anyway I think you misunderstood me, It will show up that it is in beta state, people that want to play the map are able to, people that dont want to play on a beta map dont have to go to that map and just pick another out the list.

We all know that designing a map costs time, but not as much as making sure the map is balanced and polished. Yet everyone wants new maps and cam’t wait to play on them.

So I came up with this simple idea.. Why not let the players find out the unbalancing. Release the map as a beta map when the design is done. People can now join the map and will be informed that the makitten till in beta state. The map will also not award points for your actions.

This way the map cant be unbalanced during testing, as no points are awarded, people can play the new map, arenanet can track all the logs and balance and polish the map and the players can give their feedback.

Wouldn’t releasing new maps go alot faster this way?

I really hope they sort this out, because it’s now either: Buy a new processor, or stop playing gw2. And that’s not a choice a game that came out, saying it would be playable on a large range of machines, should make me make. I could run with 20-30fps in big blob vs blob fights before this patch. Now this patch comes out, same frame rate, but it’s now unplayable.

I don’t think your processor matters actually, mine is pretty new and heavy (I run game in blob v blob on 40-50fps) and had no problems before this patch..

Tonight I’ve been missing out on alot of stuff, static fields don’t render, water fields don’t render, sanctuaries dont render, basicly, most of the important stuff doesn’t render anymore.

I have tried to play on both lowest and highest settings but it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with that. I did see the new added ‘Effect LOD’, which I have turned off but this doesn’t solve it also.

Anyone else experienced this problem?

Its always about the tournaments. That is also something that may be considered, if people want to really make this competitive, then in a given week a tournament can be helped in the bottom 2 servers (Vabbi and FoW I believe) where all the GvG guilds transfer there for a week and play several GvGs daily in a structured style to conclude after 7 days which guild wins the tournament. Just a random idea off the top of my head, probably wouldnt work for a lot of reasons but something to consider if this is really going to be “competitive” cause a ladder simply doesnt cut it. I mean VoTF got to r5 on the ladder after a single win, and perhaps that is or is not our place on the ladder, I feel like we jumped too high in 1 match for me to take it seriously.

Me and some guildies have been thinking about organizing a tournament week in the tier 9 server, however as you say there are alot of reasons why it wouldn’t work. All guilds would have to pay a fortune to go to tier 9 and back. This would mean that some guilds would skip this and another problem, maybe even worse, is that guilds that are on the same server would not be able to fight eachother.

About the rating, it’s the Glicko 2 rating system, you guys went up to spot 5 because of beating a high ranked guild, that’s how it works. I agree it’s really easy to get into the top 10, but it’s also hard to stay in there. I am however open for suggestions on how to improve the rating system!

Fix server transfers! Ruining the game!

All these transfers are KILLING servers or making certain servers sooooo lopsided because they are “paying” for guilds from other servers to transfer. Big guilds come down to my tier all the time and swoop out hundreds of people and it’s making me HATE this game! They need to make transfers cost REAL $ like $20 PER transfer like warcraft did, not gold/gems. This would atleast make it less common in my opinion.

Guilds transfer because of the lack of fun on their current server, locking down transfers like that would make alot of guilds quit the game and WvW would be done.

If clones and Phantoms are to be buffed, it should be based on the Mesmer, not on the number of people you are fighting. That sort of change in my opinion would be stupid and make them VERY overpowered.

In my opinion they wouldn’t be overpowered, the damage would remain the same, it’s jus the health and armor that would scale. This would make them a bit harder to kill instead of them dying in random aoe. This way the mesmer can actually confuse the enemy force by having them chase a clone down.

No, its better that it interrupts i think rather then a daze. That is down to my opinion.

Sorry, my mistake, i meant all hard cc instead of interrupts.

We have a few. iZerker, Chaos Storm, Feedback, iWarden ALL deal AoE damage thats a decent amount we dont want to become an AoE class.

Zerker and warden die before they will start attacking, this could be solved with what I suggested about buffing their health and armor. Chaos storm is a nice skill, but that’s the only one. Feedback doesn’t do anything if fighting organized groups as that is all melee / aoe based. The chance anyone actually auto-attacking for the projectile is very small.

You don’t mention the incredible group support functions the mesmer brings. There’s so much we can bring to the table. Utility, boons, healing, stealth as you mentioned (yes veil should be changed back). Really there is a lot there. So many people like to make the argument that “mesmers don’t do support as well as other classes”.

Although the mesmer has access to all boons in the game, but moslty on RNG basis. You will get the boons for a short durations, while for example a guardian can put out more boons (not RNG based) which has a longer duration. In comparisation what the mesmer can do is a joke. I’m not saying the mesmer should have the same boon mechanism as a guardian, what I’m trying to say is that it’s not needed for the mesmer to apply the boons. The same goes for healing, you won’t have a mesmer for healing, that’s why you have an ele.

The current meta is about guardians, warriors, elementalists, necromancers and 1 mesmer (and sometimes a thief). The only reason the mesmer is picked is because of the veil, yes it can do much more, but the other classes can do it better.

- Chaos storm applies daze on creation (100% chance) and pulses every second after.
Something like 1s daze on creation would be nice for a group fight, pulses every second after = instant lockdown vs anything not running stability = OP

- Fix phase retreat, the skill should teleport you backwards, but sometimes it teleports you forward, when trying to get out of a killzone this can be rather deadly. (Fix the randomness)
I think it has to do with you having targetted something? It teleports backwards from your target regardless of orientation.

That might have been it, that the target just went behind me, if noone else experienced this then it probably was my mistake.

+Running with focus and traited blink works. Air runes(great with healing mantra) if you like em. I think it kinda fits with the mesmer, we got teleports and are harder to catch in close combat, but not so good at getting away.
If you run with a group they should have enough fields to keep pretty much perma swift?

I agree that the group I run with already has perma swiftness, but that’s again a point that other classes do bring and the mesmer doesn’t, we’re reliant. Once you fall behind you won’t be able to catch up. For what you say about your runes and skills it sounds like you made the build around having swiftness, just what I had to do with centaur. It’s not a problem, because it will give you perma swiftness, it’s just that you have to give up on other stuff.

And it would just make it sure fire hit, so traited diversion(aoe) you will proc on 15 people? A bit much IMO.

For what I’ve tested the trait dazes 5 people, no matter how many clones you have up. I have tested this very fast so I might be wrong, I’ll check this later. But even if it was 15, how would this be OP compared to the ele’s static field which has no aoe limit?

I understand it’s hard to buff the group play mesmer as it will impact the small scale mesmer which is already strong enough, but it’s needed.

Some improvents I’d love to see for the group play mesmer:

- Clones and phantasm’s healthpool and armor scale with the amount of enemies you are facing. Facing a group of 20 players, the clones and phantasm’s health & armor would multiply by 20. This would help shatter and phantasm mesmers.

- Chaotic interruption -> all hard crowd control done by you instead of interrupt, trait remains grandmaster.

- Chaos storm applies daze on creation (100% chance) and pulses conditions every second after.

- More aoe attacks like chaos storm, less RNG based.

- Null field -> remove aoe cap on this skill. There has to be a counter to melee trains.

- Prismatic understanding applies on all allies that you stealthed. This would apply to veil and mass invisibility. Trait would remain grandmaster.

- Gap closers for mesmers (RTL for ele, leaps for warriors/guardians). Something that can close a gap, or would save your life. I agree that there is blink, but I would love to see it on a weapon skill.

- Fix phase retreat, the skill should teleport you backwards, but sometimes it teleports you forward, when trying to get out of a killzone this can be rather deadly. (Fix the randomness)

- Healing signet, passive: remove conditions, active: heals. Or any other condition removal we can count on.

- More out of combat swiftness, I had to switch out to centaur runes just to be able to keep up with the rest of my guild.. Give us a swiftness signet, or any other utility that would give us some more swiftness.

I absolutely love my mesmer, the idea of the class is awesome and it has a lot of potential. I have played for 2k hours on my mesmer and I wouldn’t want to re-roll so I hope the mesmer could get it’s deserved buff.

Ever since the confusion-nerf patch the group play mesmer in WvW has been extremely underpowered compared to other caster classes (ele/necro). I’m talking about group play as in guild groups of 20-25.

Pre-patch (confusion) a guild group would easily have 3 mesmers on their team, sometimes even up to 5. After the patch the mesmer’s damage was halved, combined with the internal cooldown on confusion and now an internal cooldown on chaos armor most guild groups only run 1 mesmer, just for the one reason, veil.

Mesmer isn’t a class anymore, it’s a utility bar:
- Veil (nerfed from 4s to 2s)
- Portal (nerfed to 20 players)
- Timewarp (nerfed to 50% quickness)
- Null field (buffed to 40s cd)
- Feedback (useless vs organized groups as most run 75% melee)

I have loads of armor sets, trinkets and I have tried almost every build possible but nothing seems to do what another class can do without any issues.

Mesmer builds (these are examples, ofc there are missing):

- Confusion

With the internal cooldown on apply confusion when blinding a foe makes it impossible to stack enough confusion to deal any damage, on top of that the damage has been nerfed by 50%.

Confusion hits for 65 + (0.075 * Condition Damage), which in reality would be around 150 damage per hit, if lucky someone would have 2 or maybe 3 stacks on him, so that would be 300 or 450 damage.

Confusion is the main burst of a mesmer, but the damage is negligible. Compared to a necromancer’s burst the mesmer burst is a joke, and not even a good one.

The biggest problem with the confusion was small scale, it was easy to stack 10+ confusion on a single target and therefore it was really strong, right now for small scale it’s fairly balanced, especially for duels. However in group combat it’s extremely underpowered.

- Phantasm

If confusion is not your burst damage, then your phantasms are, it’s on every weapon the skill that does the most damage and it can do alot of damage. For duels and small skill this build is even overpowered, for group combat however, it doesn’t work.

The healthpool of the phantasms and clones is too small, they will die because of random aoe on the ground before they even start attacking.

- Shatter

Same problem with the phantasm build, it’s strong in duels, but useless in groups. You are very lucky if you have 2 clones to be shattered, as they will die in less than a second after creation. Most shatter mesmers in groups will shatter the clone that they created right away, but this damage compared to having 3 clones up is nothing.

- Interrupt

I was very excited when I heard about the buffs for the interrupt builds, The idea is awesome, but then again.. Just as useless as any other build for group combat.

Being reliant on interrupts for your burst/might/immobilize makes the build random, when fighting 20 vs 20, or even more you won’t be able to spot any animations, it’s just too hard to see and the pace of the game is too fast.

This means the interrupt build relies on random interrupts, which is fine, but then again.. Most interrupts a mesmer has are single target.

The only aoe interrupts a mesmer has are:
- Diversion ( if traited 30 points into illusions AND requires a clone)
- Chaos storm (daze is random)
- Greatsword #5 (600 range)
- Focus #4 (1sec cd on pull)

Now I don’t want to start the discussion again, but both are called GvG. In guild wars 1 this was 8 people, in guild wars 2 it is 20 people.

Now personally I’m with Yaro that 8vs8 can’t be considered GvG as 8 people is only a small percentage of a guild. While 20 people can be the active part of a guild.

For both formats there is demand and although you said there was more demand for Guild wars 1 GvG, I can tell you there is more demand for gw2 GvG.

In guild wars 1 there were 319 guilds of 8 players = 2552 players.
In guild wars 2 there are currently 179 accounts requested on gw2gvg.com. On average gvgs are 20 people = 3580 players.

Now this doesn’t mean the one format is better or more fun than the other, for both is demand and both are fun.

Calling something zerging or w/e without understanding how the game mode works is ignorant.

lmao. That is the worst possible example of statistics. 2007-2010 there were over 1000 guilds on the ladder for GW1 GvG. Also, just because 8 people played for a guild in one match does not mean that was the guild’s size nor the number of core players for that guild. 319 guilds? That’s how many there are in the post-GW2 launch ladder. Don’t confuse the numbers of a game that’s fallen from it’s prime with a game that’s supposed to be peaking.

That’s exactly what’s wrong with the mentality behind “GW2 GvG.” You people seem to think it can’t be counted as true Guild vs Guild unless you can zerg it. Aha

What you say about that only 8 could play at the same time, the same goes for the 20 in the gw2 gvg scene.

As I said, neither of the formats is better than the other, there are just people that prefer the one over the other.

A discussion about this is pointless anyway, as you said GW1 has fallen from it’s prime and GW2 is peaking.

I was only wanting to let you know that with the thousands of people doing GvG’s there actually is demand for the gw2 gvg scene with the statistics at this moment. This is with you liking, you not liking, you calling it zerging or w/e, there still is demand.

i think the best option right now in EU atelast is all GVG teams to move to Tier 9 and open field fight and GVG to their hearts content!

FOW and VABBI have forever been in Tier 9 and unlikely to move anywhere. i remember Tier 3 was consolidated like this for a while and Random matchups screwed it all up!

u cant expect this to happen in NA, but most definitely possible in EU.

One small problem..

What would happen if all guilds would move to tier 9………

I do agree that guilds should spread out over different servers tho, right now most guilds are stacked on the highest servers and the reason for that is because every other guild is there. So moving away would mean less fights, this could only be solved if all guilds would move and spread out, but this would create chaos because all rating mean nothing anymore.

Interruption in Pve and Pvp

I ran an interrupt build for a few weeks solo roaming in wvw. The idea is awesome and if well played the build is really strong, but there is a major downside: It is very hard to play, or at least, it requires alot of focus.

There are no cast bars on enemies, so you have to look closely for animations, this is all fine if you are experienced in pvp because you will know most of them, but some skills don’t have a cast time, therefore you can’t interrupt them.

The damage on an interrupt build is poor compared to shatter/phantasm at least if you go full interrupt. However if you aim to interrupt someone’s heal, you can do this 10+ in a row. This does require your opponent to be absolute stupid to trigger his heal over and over again knowing you will interrupt it. This gets me to the next part, you completely rely on the other person to do something, if he doesn’t, like run away, you won’t damage him (It is really easy to run away from a full interrupt build).

On a normal setup I ran 10/20/30/0/10, which is in general strong versus a necromancer,engineer,mesmer,elementalist,ranger but has a big problem when fighting warriors,guardians,thieves. The reason that it is hard when fighting heavy classes is because of the stability uptime, this could also happen on necros and eles, but not as much. When your opponent has stability your build becomes useless and this forces you to switch to 20/20/30/0/0 to rip off the stability. You give away alot of your interrupts to do this tho. Fighting thieves is even worse, because you can’t interrupt anything that is stealthed as all your attacks need a target. This doesn’t make it impossible, you just have to be really fast and interrupt him between the time he comes out of stealth and attacks you.

The build only works as 1v1, if you want to use it as a group build you’d have to go 30 into illusions which you actually can’t afford and when you do so you have to pick the trait over illusionairy persona.

Tl;dr: Damage is poor compared to other builds, if your opponent is stupid you will win easily, some skills make your build completely useless, hybrid is a better solution, but you miss out on alot where the build is based on (might,immobilize), traits are spread out in different trait lines.

Guild vs Guild

Guild vs Guild is extremely popular yet being ignored. Is there any chance GvG will be implemented the way we know it? As an arena or even an empty map?

Guilds are wanting to fight eachother on equal footing yet don’t have a decent playground and have to fight without class balancing. Sometimes there are so many people spectating that they cause skill lag not to mention take up queue slots (the guilds fighting eachother also take up queue slots).
