If you are so good go D/D in a dungeon and show us in vid… We are so bad we are forced to use Staff and lay back .. forced into a role…
in WvW we again, hide in the crowd and lay back using AOE dmg and AOE heal…
then if we are faced 1v1 we run like chickens with our cantrips…( only way to 1v1 properly is with D/D or S/D … )
In normal PvE we run D/D to farm faster… but guardians / warriors can farm way faster…
You arent better, ur just trying to make urself look good

they need a buff in both? …
they are underpowered. They suck in dungeons , they have to use staff as only viable build.
They underperform in PVE, they are fun in WvW …
WvW is the only thing they are good at, cuz of massive AOE dmg and healing, good escaping habilities … and they can hide in the crowd
PVE is not fun with Elementalist.
you can pull off, kill 2 mobs, 3 if they are easy…
but it takes alot of work and u cant DPS nor tank as other classes.
PVe aint fun with elementalist, especially in dungeons …. u gotta stay back and support -.-;
really man, WvW seems boring because its slow paced,
And sPvp isnt fun at all… after some rounds you get bored because its all the same, all the same
I played many games, and I dont think sPvp is fun.
Missing deathmatch, 1v1 , 2v2 , options custom games… etc…
That would greatly improve the fun.
I am just a fan of D2 PVP gm.

warrior is clearly OP in PVE they farm fast as hell
2.1k power, and hitting 1.5k burning speeds normally is fine? I hit that much on my auto att with axe warrior with same power.
The huge difference is that we have four attunements we can switch between. Meaning we (theoretically) have twice as many damaging abilities. That assumption really is true for D/D builds, it’s sort of true for S/x builds, and it’s absolutely false for staff builds.
If you play D/D, where that assumption does hold, we do great damage. You just have to be using all of your damage abilities on cooldown. If you play staff, just hope Anet realizes that Air, Water, and Earth combine for just three damaging non-auto attack abilities. Which is way too few considering we can’t weapon swap.
we would be fine if they reduced cooldowns and Casting animations…
or buff damage or HP…

Attunement light , 4 ( speed ) 5 ( stun ) , earth 3 ( Shield ) , 4 ( barrier that slows ) , ice 4 ( slows ).
So basically ur saying just because an Ele managed to escape a 2v1 situation he aint underpowered…

Ementalist sucks period.
Reduce cooldown on skills and animation time and they can be just as good as the others, but for now they suck very very bad
No matter how much APM u have, skill u have, u can switch attunements and memorize the best combos ever,
We will never be as good as a warrior… they tank and DPS way more than us

D/D , read all skills and you will figure it out…. its pretty simple.
D/D PVE = the best.
I rotate through all 4 attunements really fluid, really easy
If you kids take the time to acutally read and memorize all skills and their hotkeys I bet you would do awnsome, if you wanna spam 1,2,3,4 ur just a baddy
not troll, watch me play my ementalist D/D and your jaw would drop… I can kill 10 mobs easily… packs and packs even being underleveld…

Ementalists are good if you can use all 4 attunements.
If you stick to 1 or 2 , you are not using the most of your ementalist.
If you spam your buttons and dont know what each spell really do and their appropriate time of use, then you are not using the most of your ementalist.
So basically get good …. dont spam kitten and say the ementalist is weak.

Also toughness / vitality any good or should I Just focus on Power?
The thing is staff damage is really really weak …
Melee mobs are really really easy , but when ranged mob comes I get owned pretty badly. especially if there are 2,3 of them. How to fight vs them?
