gw2 grindy???yeah maybe but for stuff you may not need after all.
everyone remember lotro?i spent 100+hours only in bree and low lvl areas just to earn turbine points to unlock the rest zones.seriously?to quest in most zones you had to unlock them with money and turbine points.

the only part of gw2 which can be f2p access is the spvp and truly that’s not anymore cause you can’t accept skins via pvp.so no f2p is not necessary and not viable without changing affecting us also

kicked for being a ranger, sounds about right. rangers are banned from organized WvW play. spvp is fun though.

so far playing my ranger in aurora glade’s zergs i’m capable of following the commander ALWAYS.i’m usually the last man dying (except if i screw up which usually happens when i’m tired).i have seen warriors wiping and many other classes while my little ranger which have so much hate can stay alive for longer (and i’m using rampager gear not ptv)

it’s better to go dungeoning with guildies
also bots at the beginning were mostly bearbow rangers and they were OP only with 1ist skill that’s why we got nerfed so many times.people who are like that don’t know how to play a ranger.and holy crap do even warriors aloud to do that?playing warrior is easy mode with warrior i’m usually eating watching movies talking on phone etc etc.it’s easy to play a warrior

i enjoyed lotro hunters.was a ranger class.ofc rangers in other games had pets in lotro wasn’t that class (cause all we know how rangers were in middle earth)
gw2 on the other hand is totally different game.already having the thief class they couldn’t have another stealth class.so from the typical ranger style we left only the traps

the pets are having a bad time cause of the AI.and not only pets but necro’s minions are suffering the same fate.you can say ofc that sometimes pets are legendary cause of the down state skill 3

anyway ranger class has nothing to do with range at all.if you have played older rpg games rangers are warriors wearing medium armor and are good with survival and trap skills.they also have pets in some of them if not every single one.

the ranger class in rpg games like dnd itself was inspired by aragorn

yes you can.i was using it when i had a faulty cpu (couldn’t afford a new back then) and couldn’t handle the game well so i was playing almost everything at low and the game looked beautiful.

agree with aidan tho (they said once that they don’t want mods that work in favor of you like something that will give you advantage against me or anyone else) so it’s up to you if you want to use it or not

don’t really know.it happened to be a drop in wvw.maybe it was from a champ bag but not so sure cause i don’t take notice of my drops until i’m checking my inventory

i rarely farming world bosses but don’t see something wrong with the timers now.except the fact that teq wurm and karka are not so frequently.for the rest every 15 min there’s one up and it’s easy to catch up every single one of them

i’m not saying that it’s better than totally random.but dunno what’s better

the last time they made a hard content the forums where full of whiners begging for nerfs and those events are done now by some specific guilds and servers.i find the most pve part so easy (sometimes i’m just sending my pet to fight while i’m making coffee for myself) but then again if you want something difficult just try to enter one of those guilds the encounters are good so i hope you will have fun there

so far on forums.people complaining and trying else who enjoy the game to quit it.i understand that for some the game is not for you and you should play something else but the whole persuation opening thread is don’t know what to call it.good luck on tor or eso or wildstar or whatever.playing something you enjoy is good for you and hope you will enjoy those games.myself having tried them will just stick to gw2 and wow.but that’s only my opinion i’m not gonna make you believe it.so just do the same

about soloing go play a single player game then :/ there’s a reason the game is an mmo.else they would provide us a single player game

most people who are raging over rangers usually they don’t know how to play a ranger.also open world rangers tends to not know how to play rangers cause with the pet is an easy mode.those are changing in dungeon/wvw/spvp situations

as long as there’s no a trading window you just use the tp.any other actions are yours and only yours fault.devs can’t do anything about it.

Just a quick question for the TTS ppl……what hapens when other bosses are revamped? Will you be a member of TTS, STS (shatty terror squad) and CTS (claw terror squad)….etc?

Considering we are limited in the number of guilds we can join (5), when does it stop being reasonable?

that’s a silly question.of course guilds like TTS would go after the other boss as well.they will not create another guilds for that’s.

Think moreso about the grand scheme of things. How often will these guilds continue to do each event as interest in each is divided. TTS is basically keeping Teq from being a complete ghost town. As each new event is revamped (assuming ofc they follow Teqs format) TTS will do Teq less and less with each new iteratio. Thus eventually ceasing to be reasonable on multiple fronts.

I wanted to comment about the incident that happened recently in-game, surrounding some negative community interaction from a member of the ArenaNet staff.

Simply put a big mistake was made by one of our employees, for which he is both very upset and sorry. He allowed his personal feelings to affect his interactions in-game whilst representing ArenaNet, and this is absolutely unacceptable.

Like all players, we are human, and all have our opinions on the game. However these opinions should never disrupt other player’s enjoyment of the things they love. On top of this we have worked very hard to create a community that is respectful to one another, and for this behavior to have occurred while a developer is representing ArenaNet is doubly saddening.

We all cherish the opportunity to play with the community, and we absolutely rely on you all for in game feedback, and personally I hope that this incident does not hamper what has so far been an amazing relationship and opportunity for us all.

I would therefore like to sincerely apologize for this behavior on behalf of our staff member. We are taking steps to address the incident and for his part, he is very sorry for behaving in the manner in which he did.

Regarding Guild game play, please understand it is extremely important to us, and an area we are paying a great deal of attention to, so please do be patient with the developers who work tirelessly on making WvW the very best it can be, they have a great deal of respect for you all, and value your collaboration in pushing this pioneering mode forward. Also please note this member of staff is not on the WvW team.

Finally, World vs. World is a free-for-all battle. Our expectation of staff is that they should be playing, and enjoying the game like everyone else, and not being disruptive or disrespectful to others.

And in this spirit I hope we can move forward, and continue, what has up to this point, been a great community/developer relationship. One that I know our team massively values and loves.

I, personally, like the thousand’s that support your game, want a forum apology from the Arenanet Employee involved, not by yourself Chris. I am violated by this act and will not support your game via the gem store any longer.

Not sure why folks call 2 fixed sized zerg fighting each other gvg. Look up gvg in gw1 and take note what gvg actually is

as the folk here says the gvg in gw1 was 8vs8.at some point i think it went 12vs12 but not so sure.
