[Buka] Mojo Monkey Man
Kodash
Immobilize effects smaller scale a lot more, id say even 20vs20 will suffer. How would a cc nerf make meleetrains any stronger, that`s just ... not true. Consider 15 (Melee cc) vs 10 (Balanced, 1 guard, 1 warrior): Now, finally, the focused section of the already outmanned group would actually be able to fight, instead of dodge, dodge, stunbreak into root, root, stun, stun, daze, die....
@ Junkpile:
Yeah, 20+ seconds immobilize is totally fine. Playing asuraball unintendedly til death is also very fun and no problem.
Or did I fall into your trap?
@ Helly:
Dude, you disqualified yourself the moment you suggested you “only” need 5 guardians out of a 15 man group as a counter. Wow, … just wow. This is so crazy, I`m almost speechless. A wild guess, the rest of your 15 consists of warriors and necros?
Eight classes ingame, 1/3rd of your group consists of one class just to be able to not be cc´d endlessly? And you think that´s good? That`s the definition of class stacking and hence, totally screwed balance.
I`m laughing so hard right now about your desperate attempt to sound knowledgable, when in fact, you´re one of the deluded abusers not willing to let the easymode go away.
In a balanced game you would see equally successful 15 man groups consisting of engis, thiefs and rangers. Instead every wannabe gvg guild is relying on your formula of 50%-80% guards & warriors and feels like they reinvented the wheel.
Pathetic.
All these easy moders running 80% war/guard hammertrain setup claiming the endless boon & cc machine is skilled and balanced are really funny.
What is the alternative to running above mentioned setup (med/large scale)? Right, there is none. Seems balanced to me! Basically l2p means play hammer and stability, what classes have both again? Ah, warrior and guardian! Great balance, wonderful diversity and counters!
You could take 10 monkeys, build a hammertrain and they would crush a group of the 5 world`s best players running balanced setup without war and guard, simply because the sheer amount of CC can`t be kitet, controlled or dodged. In any other game I played the 5 top players would easily wipe the floor with the 10 monkeys, because of DR.
All of your “hey, just dodge” or “just pop stability” excuses can be translated to:“Please keep my carebear mode!”
The latest immobilize changes make the issue even more concerning. Sad state of the game.

@ Rigel:
This must be the only necro build that takes less brain than dumbfire. You`re a big fat piece of meat that does just nothing outside of a blob. Even any friggin decent GvG (which is terribad pvp imo) guild wouldn`t take you with that build. Full PVT + defensive traits, what a joke, if that`s what you need to show off your “skill” and make your playstyle work, good for you.
Kids, this is what zerging does to you, do not copy! Please post more kill count, a great indicator of skill in wvw, really!
@ Dawdler:
Unexpectedly reasonable, thanks for that. Well, the fights were fun, I was just a little disappointed someone would message us the above mentioned crap when we haven`t even been in touch before. Your post gave me the rest, because I perceived that fight a little different as mentioned before.
Yeah, and warriors.. I don`t like warriors!
Anyways, well played, good luck & have fun. Here`s hope we meet again.
Best regards
@ Dawdler:
There is wannabes and triehards on every server but you and your group really makes my respect for piken fade away. We were 6, you were 8 plus 2 randoms running mini pain train (4 people wearing hammer out of 10, faceroll much, ha?) and resetting mutliple times on garrison waypoint to rejoin the fight when finished.
Immediately after the fight you or some of your friends whispered my guildies:“You scrubs, we rocked you!” Yeah, with almost double the numbers and a waypoint in close proximity.
Somehow I knew one of you “pros” would immediately come here and write about his heroic deeds. Pathetic performance, more hammers next time please, badboy.
Seriously, are you guys so desperate, that you are proud winning versus outnumbered opponents and then brag about it? I would die in shame and switch guild if I had someone like you in mine.
Best regards
(edited by Moon.6371)
I would heavily recommend switching your build and utilities for duo roaming. Since you`re roaming with mesmer (stealth & ports) you will be focused nonstop, therefore I recommend standard Dhuumfire (30-20-0-0-20) with S/D and staff for first steps as it provides brutal damage, suffient toughness and okayish synergies when your mesmer friend is running condition or hybrid build (epidemic).
Additionally you want to have at least one stunbreaker and temporary swiftness to reliably escape overwhelming numbers. Spectral Walk would cover both.
From my experience duo roaming together with mesmer is doable but not the most satisfying combination since he is able to take fights you cannot, due to his multiple escape options. It`s either he can only take half the fights of what he would be able to do without you or you will die half of the fights while he is able to disengage. Another point is, that he is not passively supporting you through boons, which would make life much easier for you.
Best synergies with necro in my opinion are classes that have to stay infight with you until the fight is over, depending on player skill I made the best experience with offensive boon guards (stability, aegis and protection) or melee shout rangers (perma-swiftness, perma-regen and high fury uptime).
Hope it helps, good luck and have fun roaming!
@ Berullos:
I`m running two more power heavy hybrid builds (both using a mix of celestial, berserker, cavalier and rampager) atm:
30-10-0-0-30 for small group roaming, the more offensive approach since my group is peeling for me. With consumables, guard leech and bloodlust stacks I get around 3.7k attack, 40% critchance, 104% critdmg and 600 condition damage (but only 2.3k armor).
0-20-20-0-30 for solo roaming with relatively low power value (2.8k attack), but 100%+ critdmg and around 700 condi dmg. With consumables, guard leech and bloodlust I get around 3.3k attack, 45% critchance, 114% critdamage (and around 2.65k armor).
Imo necro is THE hybrid class, since DS benefits and scales very well with both dmg sources and a necro will apply conditions, even going full power. Why not giving these conditions some punch while maintaining most of my direct damage?
Best regards

@ Graendall:
Coarr is not talking blob vs. blob… Stomps usually do not occur that often when tagging to the next dorito. Therefore his experience might differ from yours. I remember the days when Necrosis used to be a 5 man roaming crew, I miss that.
Best regards
@ MethaneGas:
Well made vids, deserve more attention. You seem to be a decent player with above average mechanics and lots of theoretical knowledge, therefore I appreciate your input.
Nonetheless, your assessment of necro`s mobility is somewhat … off, I feel. It might stem from US vs EU differences or simply the tier we play in. I do roam (solo, duo, 5 man) on necro for about 1.5k hours now and while I agree on most of the points you make, it`s just half of the picture.
The current roaming meta in EU consists of 50% stuntastic melandru + lemongrass (lemongrass poultry is THE way to go in EU, you just don`t see many roamers with out it) warriors, 30% PU condi mesmer variations and 20% p/d dire+ perplexity or centaur thiefs. I just didn`t find any decent opponent in your vids that knew how to exploit their classes to give an appropriate example of what roaming on necro looks like usually.
First, the necro heavily relies on cc conditions to make escaping an option. This is hardcountered by lemongrass poultry the moment you are not running a 30-x build or condition build that is suited for +40% condi food. Means there just is no chance in hell, that you will ever be able to apply enough cc to a warrior i.e. (warriors everywhere….) to ensure escape. Same goes for thiefs. Since around 70% of my encounters (mostly 1vX, gold league is a pain the kitten ) include an opposing thief or warrior I am doomed to stay infight without being able to reset enemy target, means I have to win that fight.
Secondly, the opposing roaming classes have either stabilty or very frequent access to teleports which render spectral wall in the current meta not very efficient. They will blink through it or just pop stability.
Please compare a necro maxed out on escape, using wurm, walk and wall to the traited 6s cd teleport of a mesmer that makes you lose target if applied correctly or the unstoppable speedracer a warrior is at the moment. Now tell me again with an honest face that there is not a problem for necro roamers compared to other classes and their max escape options.
Please post a video where you fight a good stun warrior with melandru, lemongrass, anti cc traits and berserker stance and win or escape with the build you used in your latest vid. In my roaming experience, cc cannot be applied long enough to warrant calling it “offensive defense”. This is true for non-condi builds even more.
The only thing that makes solo-roaming possible for me is 30 SR stabi and godlike awareness, and even then, if caught infight by a larger group that really wants you, there`s no way, I`ll get out of that.
Another issue is the upcoming immobilize trend, since a few weeks encountering a 1vX situation usually means root-root-entangle-stun-daze and die.
No offense, I just wanted to point out, that your pov might not tell the whole story and is not taking the current meta into consideration sufficiently (at least the meta I experience here on EU).
Best regards

@ flow:
Hey mate, I`m sure you know I always appreciate your input and love discussing necro issues with you. But I heavily disagree about Vital Persistence being a bad trait. I never ever leave the house without that trait.
With my current hybrid build I don`t have high armor (around 2.3k) and Vital Persistence alone makes me so friggin durable, it`s insane. The difference between chosing this trait and not is not only noticable, but huge.
The combination of Vital Persistence, Weakening Shroud and Spectral Armor makes not only insanely tough but makes worrying about LF and LF regen a non-issue, too, freeing up high tier SR traits for bonus utility and damage.
This trait imho is one of the most powerful adept traits ingame, a 100% buff (25%-50%) will make it borderline overpowered, especially in combination with spectral skills and LF regen traits.
I`m really, really looking forward to that buff!
Best regards
I’ll leave MM out of it, because that is the only build that (ignoring some basic problems that we still have) is actually decently balanced right now defensively.
The problem is they’ve basically put all of our defense, right now, into two things. Ridiculously high eHP through Death Shroud, and conditions. The problem is these things don’t translate well into actual fighting. eHP just isn’t good enough when it doesn’t let you avoid CC or huge bursts. Same with conditions, that demand that you pre-apply them and keep them applied, yet they can usually be removed with ease (its only our damage conditions that get left usually).
The problem is we have no way to invalidate a hit of our choosing, or make it through heavy focus fire. We can’t have mobility to escape, which is fine. But that means we need some way to make it through focus fire, which we just don’t have.
Essentially our only “defense” right now is ensuring that we never get into the situations that we don’t have the ability to live through. No other class in the game has this as an innate problem to their class.
This post is spot on about necro`s defensive issues. They`re pretty good actually, it`s about not having any option to reset enemy target, get temporary immunity or simply escape an overwhelming force once infight solo-/smallscale roaming.
Best regards
@ lunyboy:
I never had the feeling I have to trait specifically against lyssa, melandru or any other rune. Traveller i.e. is strong, but can you think of someone saying: “kitten , I was doomed to die, because I had the wrong traits against your traveller set!” ?
I`m exaggerating a bit, but I feel my inital statement that there is no other runeset that firstly, enables the user to completely rely on the runeset to do damage to kill someone and secondly, forces the opponent to change his/her build to counter it, is still legit.
Appreciate your perspective nonetheless, I guess we´re still on the same boat.
Best regards
(edited by Moon.6371)
Haha, all these diehard deniers trying desperately to justify this runeset, one can tell reading these posts who`s using it to compensate for lack of skill and who not. “Just build your character to counter these runes…” Yeah…, because it is balanced when I don`t have to trait against classes or traits but against runes.
Don`t you get, that`s exactly the problem: There is no other runeset that demands to trait specifically against it, to not die to o so skillful interrupt spam…
What happened to your servers, guys? I just had a blast on Jade GL, multiple packs of small groups from both opposing servers eager to fight the hell out of each other. Please keep that up the entire week and I will never miss silver league again.
Thanks, gl & hf.
(edited by Moon.6371)
kitten , I just agreed with BlackDevil… Winter is coming?
Before I found out that Kingcracus is just a baddie desperately trying to defend the only thing that enables him to stomp someone from time to time, I asked myself how any sane person could advocate for a rune that is just about 1000 times stronger than any other rune in the game.
Please, tell me any other rune where the choice of rune is making the playstyle, not the build. A runeset should just complement the build, like all the other sets do.
Dear Anet, we need a balance team for wvw, it really is a shame that we have to deal for so many months with that!
@ Schtizzel:
Describing the only challenging mesmer build there is (pure shatter) as “OP” disqualifies you quite a bit. New to the game? To be honest, I play since pre-release that would be about the first time I hear someone saying shatter mesm is OP…
A shatter mesm has to work for his results, there is actually risk-reward, condi mesm imo is the culprit, relying on AI and confusion and 6sek cd teleports with stealth – ranger 2.0…
And no, i`m not a shatter mesmer.
Apart from that you`re describing exactly what i felt about Riverside this week (please read carefully, I know there`s good players on RS). Let`s just agree the week was really sad for (solo-) roamers.
Best regards
(edited by Moon.6371)
I don`t want to diminish the matchup`s quality for other playstyles at all. It`s just that mine doesn`t find the necessary counterparts to have fun this week, there just is nobody leaving his/her cozy comfort zone of t3 keeps or x friendlies anymore looking for solo/duo action. Leaves me a bit frustrated.
No offense to anyone individually, but for me personally this was the worst matchup to have fun roaming for weeks and months. It was probably just bad luck, but I haven`t seen a single roamer from Riverside (except an charr engi [LLS] or something) or Vizunah that was not running some phantasm mesm variant or warrior (so fun… and skillful, too!).
On some days I was lucky when I met roamers at all. Yeah, and when I finally found someone willing to put up a fight, within seconds a wild bunch of pve rangers in berserker mode on their way to the next zerg would show up, blindly spamming 1 onto anything that is red.
The sad thing is, I am already solo roaming mostly in the very early morning hours (because thats usually the only time I find quality roaming action in gold league without getting chased down by the next best angry zerg), but this week, just impossible – it`s either go bl`s and meet nobody… or go EB and face one supersize Vizu blob and a medium sized Riverside one. Roamers? No…
God, I hate gold league so much.
(edited by Moon.6371)
Well, since D/P heavily relies on initiative gain (not as bursty as D/D), you should be completely save to setup your fear chain as long as your armor exceeds 2600 . No thief will live through one successful rotation wihtout blowing every cooldown he has.
Their only chance is to disengage, don`t try to get them, you won`t, unless they make mistakes. But I consider a running thief with 5% life desperately trying to save his sorry behind a win.
If bursters are problematic for you, I heavily recommend equipping spectral armor. 30% damage reduction for a while and a full refill of your DS should solve that.
Best regards
People would build even bigger blobs to avoid dying and giving ppt to the enemy. They already alt-f4 like crazy now. Yay.
Best regards
Anet did state they never had a wvw balancing team and do not intend to create one. Since sPvP has a dedicated team/subsection of the global balancing team the effect of patches to wvw is probably not tested at all due to very limited manpower and priority apart from “wvw patch events” every three to six months. The rest is PvE.
Diminishing returns and/or cc immunity were suggested by players in beta even, don`t expect any changes now.
Sad, but that`s how it is.
Good luck & have fun everyone! Here`s still hope to enjoy some high quality roaming action.
Best regards
I came here to vent my frustration, but you guys said it all. Thanks. God, I hate dumbfire so much…
There`s a lot of promising changes included in the notes, but I`d like to note that the major complaint (which imo led to the huge influx of warriors in wvw) concerning warriors is not addressed.
I am talking about the synergy between healing signet, berserker stance and auto-stability. All these combined make warrior gameplay far too forgiving and the class is too easy to play for how many actions (keystrokes) have to be done due to all these passive benefits.
Thanks for the heads up.
Yay, that`s what I expected. Trashtalk without backup. Did some teenager friend tell you it`s the cool thing to do on the internet?
Or is it you`re just some desperate perplexity user that knows his skills are underdeveloped and tries to justify abuse of the runes here?
I am amused.
Wow, kingcracus and hugemistake, you`re pretty good at making clear you`re either new to the game or just terribad. You know, there are classes, that have casttimes on 95% of their skills, autoattack included.
Try duelling a decent perplexity interrupt mesmer, thief or engi (with instant, undisplayed and in some cases spamable interrupts) with such a class and please fraps your great play to show the world how easy it is to counter.
I bet you guys never leave the cozyness of your blob to actually do some pvp in wvw, judging by your posts this is the only possible explanation for so much ignorance and trashtalk.
Best regards
Good play and very well made video.

Hey guys, i just want to say ty to EXG guys who did fight with us.There is lot of small scale/solo fights.
Here is one i recorded vs 2 guard from EXG :
Tapss – on FOrt Rannick atm With [EVO] @ wvw
Hey Tapss, I was looking for you during last week`s matchup vs augury. Now I`m sad, cuz no more duels vs you for weeks to come.
Good luck & have fun!
@ Rennoko:
Thank you fo the insight, it`s just that I feel (after testing myself) that the more direct damage heavy approach with 30 SR d/f immobilize focused playstyle is putting out way more pressure and tanky enough to stay “forever” in meleerange (talking wvw).
Additionally, I think 30 SR Stability and Traveller runes are atm a blessing for any roamer, stuntastic warriors are easily dealt with, not even using lich form.
I didnt see such a celestial variation in your video (which was well made as usual) and felt like adding that to the discussion.
Best regards
Thanks for the awesome fight, [WiS]. Very nice play, hope we meet more often.
Best regards
Condition duration is so July, we recently developed a passion for hybrids and more bursty variations. You should come and play more to keep yourself updated. Hit me up, when you`re roaming the borderlands, Wolfheart.
See ya, gl & hf
Yay, looking forward meeting you for some fights. Sorry, I am not in the mood to write wall of text and derail the thread any further just to answer your desperate attempts to proof your capabilities in this very thread.
Have fun & good luck!
Be patient, Zumy. I guess clicking the right headers is not as easy without someone telling you where to spam these clicks. He`s just missing a leader to mark..
Haha, that Blackdevil guy so full of himself! But yeah, it takes incredible amount of skill to spam ae`s running with your 24 buddies. Can`t wait to experience your roaming qualities first hand, badboy…
Buka, lol. You guys are scrubs. I saw your mesmer’s post about ‘’gvg build’’. Was funny to see him talking about gvg as roaming scrub. He had no idea what he was talking about.
But ahwell, when we face kodash I wouldn´t mind dueling or 1v2ing anyone of your guild.
I play since realease and I have had plenty of opportunity to meet you RG wannabes in smallscale environment. My experiences have been very disappointing to say the least. “Pathetic” would suit the actual performance of your buddies probably better. I bet they were all running gvg builds, ha?
Sorry, dude, but I`m laughing quite hard about your big mouth, when in the past you guys couldn`t even handle smallscale fights when outnumbering the opponent.
Keep on dreaming, wannabe. And please post more videos running through pugs to show off your incredible skills.
As I said before, can`t wait to experience your qualities first hand.
Peace.
@ Jackie:
Sorry, but this is just not true. There are some gvg guilds (VcY and BuLL for example) that love doing smallsclae and field quite good players. But RG not so much, at least that`s what I experienced roaming gw2.
Most good players consider gvg a downgrade to roaming cause individual skill do not shine through as much. I have experienced quite the opposite: Most bored gvgers who consider themselves good players go roaming or tpvp cause of boredome.
Best regards

Haha, that Blackdevil guy so full of himself! But yeah, it takes incredible amount of skill to spam ae`s running with your 24 buddies. Can`t wait to experience your roaming qualities first hand, badboy…
So you guys run with your 20+ paintrain buddies through pugs and feel strong? Impressive…
@ Rennoko:
Well made vid, as usual. Thanks for that. But i do feel your celestial setup is not cutting edge. I use Celestial, Berserker, Knights and Cavalier with dagger/focus and staff and it absolutely rocks. The direct dmg output is so much higher than with scepter and the control coming from dagger 3 is key to build my play around it.
Basically I am trading 200 condition damage of yours for direct damage close to full berserker power necro and still have 500 condition damage plus 2700 armor.
@ Sororita:
Your playstyle seems to be very close to mine judging by weaponset but I feel your traits suit MM much more than focus on lifesteal without minions. Additionally your stats seem kinda low, despite you having consumables applied.
I have about 3k attack power, 40% critchance, 113% critdamage, 500 condidmg and still 2700 armor. I feel compensating the traited lifesteal with toughness is the better trade off, since the offensive potential is so much higher statwise (and offense is the the best defense).
No offense, just my input and thoughts.
Best regards
Could you chosen guilds please put brief information up regarding focus and size of your guilds (like “small man roaming”, “gvg” or similar)?
Thanks & best regards
Wow, [OdS] ganking 3 Thiefs vs 1 (me) and laughing afterwards. Earlier the laughing thief tried trolling me and died miserably running. Two charrs, one female human.
I always thought of you as a well mannered guild and duelled your Tikiblabla guy two times (me winning one and one was endless, he played P/D).
Times change quickly, ha? Sad performance… you heroes can hit me up for 1on1 anytime…
As a pure roamer since pre-release the old stomp points introduced with the new borderlands were the single best change made in this game ever. It gave real incentive without artificially enhancing someone`s power. Even completely without stat bonus, the old stomp points would`ve been important enough to fight for.
It is so hugely disappointing to see how Anet has no clue about their changes and revertes back what was exactly the refreshing and best part of it – the old stomp mechanic…
Bets regards
Nah, it`s ok, to be honest it was my fault engaging into engi + thief (perplex), and I could cleanse, dodge and tranfser all I wanted, but I never ended up with less than 10 stacks during the fight.
It just seems so overly common these days again, but maybe it`s me being unlucky…
Good luck & have fun
P.S.: Apologies little asura P/D perplexity thief from [Psy] for the rant, hit me up for 1on1 anytime.
(edited by Moon.6371)
[Psy] has some of the saddest perplexity roamers I`ve seen for a while… you guys just love to abuse the meta or is this still the cool thing to do on Gunnars?
“I can stack 20 stacks of confusion on my target for like … forever, im so strong and such a good player, too!”
Apart from that, nice roaming action this week, very fun and challenging!
Best regards
I know Virtual Masters [VM] and sincerely doubt they would use any exploit or hack. One of the very dangerous small mans EU with skilled players. My wild guess is, you just got outplayed by far better players.
Can`t count the situations when I`ve fooled groups of players chasing me with Spectral walk alone or flesh worm. I bet they thought I “disappeared” as well.
Please be careful with your accusations, thank you.
Best regards
My roaming guild (very rare that we run more than 5) is running pretty balanced setups (buff ranger, hybrid necro, off guard, thief, s/d ele, shatter mesm.engi and more – quite a mix), but we`re certainly experiencing that most roaming guilds nowadays ride the meta-abuse train and field up to 50% warriors (well, even solo roaming warriors seem to outnumber thiefs nowadays, every second roamer is warrior). Others just rely on being as tanky as possible, stacking guards and warriors like a mini pain train.
But in my opinion that`s just an annoyance concerning smallscale, roughly equal numbers provided it`s still: better play wins.
The ugly (and sad imo) part starts when being outnumbered. Fights that couldve been won through better control, communication and positioning cannot be won reliably anymore, because literally every second attack coming from such opposing groups is a stun, knockdown or similar. The sheer number of hard cc`s incoming through certain weapons is just a bit too much imo.
It`s just too easy to apply for how hard it is to be countered. Apart from stability (the number of classes having reliable access to stability is very limited, strangely enough all stunheavy classes have access to stability, but the rest…) and dodges (you`re already outnumbered, there`s just so many dodges available) there`s not much you can do about it. There`s no “good play” that can counter the number of hard cc`s coming in. It`s just about fielding a class that can give you stability.
This is a team game, but I do think, it is a sign of subpar balancing if good play is not as important as fielding the same classes you want to counter.
Just today, I encountered an opposing guild roaming, where 5 out of 7 guys on the map were running hammer warriors. Seriously? I love roaming because it used to be NOT the brainless pain train crap, but it seems that`s changing, sadly.
Best regards

@ Bweaty:
When I say “build” it`s not limited to traits (there`s just so many combinations that make sense), it includes gear & weapon mix, runes & sigills as well as the global concept behind. And I heavily disagree that many people actually put enough thought behind der builds (again, including everything).
I don`t think of DS stomp/rez as an exploit, what makes it different to shadowstep stomps and similar? One year into the game, I`ll just use Anet`s favorite explanation for just about everything: It`s a feature, not a bug!
Anyways, no reason to argue, I agree there are certain situations where your wish makes sense and is legit. But I do like the necessity to think about using DS beforehand, for being able to safe stomp/rez someone, it adds another layer of difficulty.
@ Andele:
Well, there`s a lot of good suggestions, but seeing several people state “power not equal to condi, needs buff” and someone “epidemic cast time too long, make it instant” made me write that. I do think power speccs in pvp and wvw are heavily underused (compared to condition) but not weaker.
And regarding epidemic, imo one of the (if not the single) most powerful skills ingame – enormous damage output potential for pressing one button on really low cd is not really something that needs to be altered or made instant cast. The spell singlehandedly wins fights – again, for pressing one button…
Best regards
Thanks for the entertaining afternoon on AG borderlands, nice & fun fights.
Best regards.
Lots of suggestions here would make us far too strong. Necro is more than viable in all PvP and WvW related settings. Additionally we are one of the most versatile classes, build and damage wise (condi, direct, hybrid).
I really don`t understand the complains here about condi being too dominant. It`s not because power or hybrid is worse, it`s because players are too lazy to come up with their own builds instead of relying on c&p what they heard is strong.
Recently I`m roaming on power/hybrid (30-10-0-0-30) and I feel it is far more powerful than condition and does great vs counterclasses such as the stuntastic warriors. I feel my damage output is borderline overpowered, especially in combination with all the soft CC provided by nature.
Personally, I wish they would take some of our damage sources away, in case of condition necro Dhuumfire would be my favourite here and work on survivability and/or escape functionalities. We never needed Dhuumfire imo…
I`m doing really good solo-roaming with any build I`ve tried, but there`s no other class that demands such awareness and focus on positioning to not die all the time when something unexpected happens (talking wvw). Another escape panic button would really make life easier.
… We really need to be able to res others in death shroud/litch/etc…
You are already able to DS-res and stomp, takes some practice, but not too difficult. Bind your res/stomp and deathshroud keys close to each other, makes it less of a challenge.
