I had the same, I had 100% completion in log in screen but the achievment still showed 99%. The 99% was correct as I still needed 1 vista, the bug is the log in screen thinking you get 100% when the game adds new waypoints or poi’s after a update which you then get after said update.
Kinda strange you did get the title as the Chantry of secret poi you got does count towards the explorer title.
Still not working. I’d be done with Fractured right now if it was, lol. Just ran 8 fractals and neither set counted toward the daily fractal achievement

There’s always someone or a small group with this “it’s too easy” feedback. Some felt SAB Tribulation was too easy (possible troll). They were also around last year when the forums blew up over the original Clocktower. I distinctly recall someone who recorded a “blind run”, blocking their camera view with their inventory panel, which was a cheap shot at anyone saying it was too difficult.
Correctly, that video proved the point that a blob of inconsistent and distracting characters bobbing around on your screen played havoc with the player’s ability to orient and learn the puzzle. I’ll add that the game was a mere two months old at this point, so there was a combination of players who are now seasoned JP experts that were still inexperienced, as well as a massive amount of very new players to the game.
The bottom line is this: there’s no universal difficulty in anything. If enough people really want a “tribulation mode” for Clocktower, then by all means pester Anet to whip up something truly evil. Don’t lobby for everyone to have a more difficult time because you don’t feel challenged.
Tbh SAB TM was mostly trial&error and bugs.
With your hard hitting auto attack and the immob from sword 2 this build is still good given that you’re able to interrupt heals. I never really used pistol whip since the quickness nerf.
Last year it was 16-28 bags with 7-10 without cooldown. While this year it’s 7-10 bags with 3-4 without cooldown. You should’ve expected that the rewards would be nerfed compared to last year, given that once you get a hang to it you’re able to get at least 90% succesful runs.
I can do the JP using my laptops touchpad. The blue glow instead of big norn or charr doesn’t really make a difference as most of them failed at start.
It’s generally easier than most JP’s ingame if you know where and when to jump. (which ofc without watching vids might take some ppl time to figure out)
On the piken square instance we killed him and I got achievement but the next time he spawned he was bugged. Not sure if it’s still bugged or not but it was impossible to kill him. Full zerg couldnt outdmg his life steal, which he was doing constantly.
I only need the ooze achievment to get 10/10 but all my PUGS have had at least 3 morons in it making it imposs to do the ooze puzzle
This buff to sic em is not going to change anything, i have never ever seen a thief get the full 4 s of revealed, culling issues and all… (or whatever its called). A good thief should never lose to a ranger in a 1v1 (unless he’s bunkering). But no build should ever be able to win against a bunker in a 1v1 anyways… And regarding the ‘nerf’ to larcenous strike: evade, decent to good damage and boon STEALING is a bit OP for a two skill combination. Im surprised they kept it at 1 boon… And i also don’t see why only a few classes should have boon removal….
First off, 4 second reveal is in Spvp, wvw/pve have 3 second reveal, secondly, there is NO way at all in game to reduce revealed, so if you played spvp you sure as hell did see a thief get 4 second reveal, you simply cant count well is all. Third, there is no such thing as culling any longer, it was removed, read patch notes. FS/LS does not do decent to good damage more like bad/mediocre damage, is one of the shortest evades in game and it was made to steal two boons because it wasnt useful when it removed one. Many classes (including yours mr ranger) can reapply boons as fast as they are stripped, and thats with skills like null field, corrupt boon (if 2 boons removed is OP how is ALL of them removed ok?), so changed to 1 boon removed means it is no longer a counter to boon builds, since they can reapply faster than you can remove them, hence it will be useless again
There’s no culling in pve or wvw.

Do the overflows work the same as with scarlett overflows? As in teqtal spawn if overflow has been created within 10 mins?

I’ve done World 2 Zone 2 4 times now with Dulfy’s guide still no achievement lul.
And yes I killed the cage boss every time.

You can backtrack in normal mode to the shortcut eagle….
It seems the bauble achievments are bugged for some ppl. For me it’s world 2 zone 2 that’s not counting even though I missed no baubles.
It is counting for me. btw he’s talking about the shop inside the shop. When you’re in the shop behind the green waterfall you need to use a torch and bomb inside to unlock the next secret room. The room sells 3 bubbles.
After investigation by our programmers, they have determined that the fix to this issue would be too risky and could end up making the situation worse than it is. Unfortunately, this means that we’re not able to make changes to correct the issue. We’re sorry about this and we will be implementing ways to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
But it has happened before….

Not recommended that would likely be considered a exploit. Along the lines of if it is too good to be true it probably is.

What Anet should’ve done:
Make 4/4 Monthly completed reward the usual 10 laurels.
Make the Monthly Achievement “Monthly Completionist” (You completed your daily category 4 times in a month) reward the ascended materials, because no one could have possibly finished that yet until later today.
You figured that out in less then an hour, why didn’t any1 at Anet think of that lol.
They could’ve just kept the 3 they removed. But then again the early ppl wouldnt have gotten the essence of luick for completing the monthly.

I got 14 of them. My 15th (and last) character didn’t get it (god knows why, since it was created on the same day as all others). Now I have 13 useless Jennahs, waiting for the 14th useless one.

This pretty much. I had zero problem with this instance, did everything in one try. It was too easy imo. You can skip pretty much everything. Except for the 2 waves at farren, the only enemies I fought was Scarlett and she wasn’t hard at all if you know how to dodge or when you have some blocks.
You need to get in the map within 10 mins of the event start. So if you’re too late you’ll be in an overflow that doesnt have the event because it was created longer than 10 mins after the event start. Every overflow created max 10 mins after event start has the event.

So don’t have a set pattern. Randomize it some, but ensure over a 24 hour period every map will spawn at least once. That still give 11 duplicates a day and people won’t camp zones.
Who says this isn’t the case right now?

How are you able to do this in overflow? Every time we entered an invasion zone in overflow we get the message that we can’t do the invasion there.
Because only overflows created max 10 mins after start have the event. If you enter an overflow that has been created later there won’t be an event.

Everything except for the opening ceremony will stay untill the September 3. It’s stated in both stickies of this subforum.
As for todays missing daily, it’s probly a bug or because of todays patch. So don’t overreact, the dailies will probly be back after the patch or tommorow.
The only thing missing is the Jubilee Daily, I was looking through the menus like crazy until I found this thread on the forum after giving up looking in the game.
So the Dailies are “bugged” and hence not available or what?

And yeah in the Wiki it says “until 3rd sept”, there is no mention of any sort of deadline today. For a group of devs that hate farming so much, they sure make it a necessity. It is easier to mindless grind on mobs for gold and buy what you need then to ever think it will drop. Unless there is a bug in the RNG.

Out of curiosity, how often do you get rares out of chests in the open world? Meaning, dragon and temple events or jumping puzzles.
Almost non existant, also crafting rares for ectos is avg less than 0.5/rare. on a streak of 1 ecto out 10 rares today :/
