It’s great.
The story is great. I really like it.
The new map is cool.
However, I dont think there is any need to rush if you’re still new. LS S2 is like an extension of personal story. So just take your time like you would do with personal story.

Ok question:
If i have 10 characters and i unlock everything on my main character, after we get to the next event, considering i unlocked everyting on 1 character, do i have access to doing the story again with all other characters after this event ends? or do i have to unlock it now with each one?
the unlocking is account bound. It’s just the progress is character bound.
You can do the story on any alt you want any time now. But you have to start from the 1st instance (the one in brisband) for each alt.

make the wolf that appears when u blow the horn more noticable. It’s just so hard to see. Even more when moving.
Ranger’s warhorn effect (wolf and moon) is more legendary than this

why are these all on the same key anyway?
why can I not bind revive player, talk to npc, and pick up item to different buttons?
I like this idea a lot.
If anything, there should be a separate ‘Loot’ key from other actions. The number of times I’ve tried to loot during a vicious battle and instead grabbed someone’s banner or started to revive someone or talked to a pointless NPC…
u can do that already. Have AoE loot enable. Then go to keybind setting and set AoE loot key to some other key. And never have to worry about picking stuffs up again \o/

So under WvW achivement->World vs World
I have two “2nd Place” achivements.
One of them is the past season. But the other says Spring Tournament 2014.
But I am on JQ (always been) and we got 1st. Not 2nd.
I also still havent gotten the reward chest.
Are these bugs perhaps related to each other?
If you still havent gotten chest, can you check if your achievement shows right standing?

I notice that I only have a heavy skin (what I chose before) in Wardrobe.
Is this a bug? Because other skins unlock all 3 weights like Dragon Helm.
Or is it because it was made long ago using a different system? (ticket to summon a merchant to buy)
I’m hoping this is just an overlook.

End rewards are 2 champ boxes and 1 green item.
Bottom line: totally not worth it.
just my advise: if u want to get the boss killing achivements, you better get them now before this place becomes a ghost town.

we all know how megaserver screwed temples by making it impossible to know when they’re up.
However, there was one saving point. After that patch, you had unlimited guesting to any server. So you can keep guesting to all servers until you find one with temples.
But they just changed it back to 2 guestings a day. Looking for temples is harder than ever.
Please give back unlimited guesting. Or give us a way to do temples.

Capture events also provide the largest single event source of Dragonite Ore in the game so without the events, that source has effectively dried up.
The Trait issue is less of a problem as they can be obtained by another method (gold & skill points), but it should be a concern that it is quite difficult now to actually EARN many of the Grandmaster Traits (including most of the new XIII ones).
I think Anet didn’t properly consider how resourceful a nicely populated (Mega)server of player would be in holding Temples 24/7 and they need to ramp up the difficulty of the Defend the Temple events so they will eventually HAVE to fail and allow for a restart of the capture events.
There was an equal problem with many players on low population servers that could not get Dragonite ore because the events where constantly contested. Or do any of the high level content.
Joining a guild is an option but even so you got to go thru the pain of setting up massive events.
I don’t know why people are whining, there are 3 zones in Orr, if they where running events with their guilds already they can scout all 3 zones to find out which events are starting.
at least ppl on low population servers always had a definite choice of checking a timer to see which temple on which server is running and then guest on it.
With megaserver, it’s just pure luck.

OR make gold account bound(if this is even possible) on acquire but still useable through the TP and merchants, not being able to be sent to others, that is the only way I can see getting rid of gold sellers.
they can just put a crap item for a lot of gold and then buy it. Gold is then transferred.

there is currently no way to get more Fortune Scraps that I know of.
But the the fortune scrap map (I forgot the name) is supposed to be a recurring event. So it may return in future.
For now, you can just buy the backs from tp. just search for “Sun Catcher” , etc.

there’s no way to track.
We used to do temple run before megaserver every day at reset.
Now we made a new guild just for it. Just to keep everyone together. and we still do it everyday at reset.
Basically, we have some scouts that go ahead and guest to all the servers (there’s no limit to guesting now) to find a server with temples available. Then we taxi everyone there and repeat for next temples. Kinda luck based though.
We can still finish pretty much all temples every day. Our runs take about 2h for : grenth, melandru, dwayna, lyssa, balth, eye and karka. Arah is just an extra now because it’s failed too much with megaserver and scaling.

On Gandara (my server) I have yet to see any temple open, And since im limited to 1 guest per day, its a game of Russian roulette, Hit or Miss… (Miss for 2 weeks so far)
this is so not true that I find it’s strange.
My experience is complete opposite. I have a hard time looking for a CLOSED temple for the events and the loots. Temples are OPEN everywhere.
Also, there is no limit on guesting now. You can guest to any number of server as you like.
When I look for closed temples, I guest to all of NA servers in a row and may not even find a closed one. And between all the servers, there’re only about 5 or 6 versions of megaserver.
ps: do you check for temple by only looking at website and waypoints from another map? because you have to be in the map to actually know. The waypoint status is wrong and not reliable with megaserver.

If they have to insist on using schedule, they should make more than 1 bosses spawn at a time. This would spread the zerg, reduce lag, make it easier to tag, and give ppl more choice.

A few things that i’d like to note:
The megaserver idea is great, but it has a few issues.
1) Guild Recruiting:
For those of us who try to recruit for our guilds I think the megaserver might be an annoying challenge. Given that we are limited in how many characters a message can have and usually promote everything the guild does – most people have to severely shorten their messages to sometimes questionable acronyms to new players and having to add the server will just make it a longer and possibly more confusing message. In addition to that we’ll see a multitude of servers posting for their guilds now too which will just clutter the chat log. A suggestion would be to have a chat log specifically for your world or guild recruiting.2) Events not resetting:
As events typically reset based on failure to defend an objective we’ll see far less of these failing and ultimately less ability to complete the events. This plays unfavorably towards those of us who want say, traits from killing Lyssa, and can’t obtain them because we can’t kill Lyssa because the event to kill Lyssa is dependent on the defending the temple event to fail which no longer fails because everyone is there defending the temple. A suggestion here would be to force these events to reset with some major (for lack of a better descriptive word) cinematic that just pops up and can’t be stopped. For example: perhaps the priestess of Lyssa just comes back alive and says “Fools! You thought you could get rid of me that easily!?” and then forcibly kicks everyone and everything out of the temple and resets the barrier, thereby resetting the seals and the events.3) Contested Waypoints:
As it seems to have been mentioned already (i came into this thread after there were 21 tabs – wasn’t gonna read the whole thing) – contested waypoints become the majority in Orr which leaves an entire map inaccessible and thus requires multiple waypointing fees to be paid. A suggestion would be that if you are going to force a waypointing fee on players that it either be standardized or rated only when you cross a map, but not while in the map.Since I couldn’t immediately find the wardrobe page (searching on this site is horrid since it tries stopping me in 3 letters…) and it seems the devs are watching this thread i’ll post my comments on that too.
Mostly I love it, but I feel the delivery was a bit off. My main complaint is why the 3 tabs? It would have made far more sense to have kept it in the old format, but when you click the “dye” button we had before – just link that to the new wardrobe page and let dyes and skins be together on one screen. It kinda freaks me out when I open to swap weapons and see nothing right away. Additionally I question why when I complete a Heart location that I am given a consumable that is used for only one thing and is account bound (something i’d probably never want to destroy too i might add)? Why not just immediately add it to the pool of other Transmutation Charges? We do this with many other things like badges of honor or dungeon tokens so why not this one? On the concept of dungeon tokens (and a bit off topic) why are pristine fractal relics not in the wallet? Or for that matter, many other “collectible”/“stackable” items that have legitimate uses like blade shards? These things just seem a bit off when everything else has been streamlined.
Anyways – those are my thoughts.

Unfortunately, we were not able to integrate fixes for the bug affecting the stuck Daily Achievements today.
I understand that this is inconvenient, frustrating, and disappointing, particularly because a lot of you all play over the weekend and were probably looking to get some play time in and complete your dailies after the release of the Feature Patch. We apologize that this is affecting your game play experience.
We’re going to try and fix this at our next earliest opportunity, and that’s going to be early next week.

Update!
I’ve managed to not bug out on this reset. As speculated, megaserver seems to be at the root of the issue, so I’ve made sure to not be on a megaserver map at the moment the daily reset happened. Might be just a coincidence, and a small comfort to those already bugged for the day, but it’s worth trying at the next reset.
- Daily: reset normally at 0/5 and I got full reward once completed.
- World bosses: finally getting full reward from them.
- Ascended ecto refinement: working as it should again.Only thing I haven’t tested is dungeons, because it’s past 3AM in Europe and I’d rather not try my luck pugging at this hour, but I suspect that’ll give rewards as it should, too.
i’ll give it a try tomorrow if they dont fix it by then

same. still bugged after recent patch.
my daily shows 5/5 done which I did yesterday. There’s a new one daily revive that wasnt there before patch which I guess is today daily.
Timer is not 00:00 anymore but 23h left.
But those 5/5 are from yesterday. There is daily mist invasion defender done and I havent been in wvw since today reset.
Daily world boss is still bugged. I just got gold credit from Karka but no chest.
I have been on both megaserver map and normal map (Cursed Shore) while being in home world and while guesting. So I dont know what caused it.

The megaserver has made things worse/impossible for:
- native server communities and server pride
- world-boss communities (feedback from TxS, feedback from the Deso GW2 community)
- Guild missions for large guilds
- the roleplayers
- calls for WvW support in mapchat or advertizing WvW events in mapchat
- guild recruitment
- players with weaker computers (lagfests, FPS slideshows, disconnects, client crashes have made the game unplayable for some)Most of the problems have to do with not being able to get everyone from your guild or alliance into the same instance (and on time for whatever you’re gathering for).
It’s cool if you’re a solo player with little interest in the community, a player unwilling to pay for a transfer to a higher-pop server, or if you’re just levelling up, roaming, and not really planning to take part in anything organized on a larger scale. I’m sure the game feels fresh then. Old-timers who have spent time and effort on building a community of some sorts, however, got stiffed.

-Putting too many ppl in a map is actually a bad idea. Everything becomes zergfest. There’re nothing for you to kill, no objective to do because they are done by 100+ other ppl.
-Temples are screwed so much with the megaserver. It is impossible to know when can you do temples.
-Gathering is screwed.
-Scheduled events are really bad. It defeats the purpose of “Dynamic” events. Also, by letting only 1 boss up at a time, you make it that everyone on every megaserver pouring into the same boss and it gets boring.
I really cant think of any thing good about megaserver.
Please revert back to the old system.

We never know when we can do temples.
Can Anet plz tell us how do we know when temple is available to do without camping it?
We have a temple run on NSP that do them in order. Now megaserver screws us up so bad.
