He’s in there somewhere but he disappears after you have spent the Influence. Well actually he disappears as soon as you drop below 10K influence as that is the minimum he takes for 50 Favour.

I am stuck at 8k Influence now with nothing to do with it.

you can trade for aetherium and resonance later. They have lower influence option.

I couldn’t find the person, a gm ticket told me it was only at the tavern, maybe they changed it.

If you don’t have Guild Hall, the Favor Broker will be in Initiative Office, on the left row of npcs from entrance and near the end door.

If you have Guild Hall, Favor Broker will be on the left of where you arrive at Guild Hall.

However, if your current influence is below the lowest trading option, the npc will NOT appear. How much do you have? lowest is 10000 inf IIRC
And tavern has nothing to do with trading influence. The GM got something wrong.

Each personal story arc and each LS2 episode give 1 point each.

When opening an Upgrade Panel by talking to the npcs and open Guild Panel at the same time, the framerate drops a lot. Sometimes it even freezes for a moment.

Does that happen to anyone else?

Currently we can access Personal Bank from Guild Bank inside the Guild Hall (top left, drop down, pick a bank).

But we can’t access Material Storage, which is inconvenient.

it’s because all other guilds are racing that makes the prices higher.

It is opportunity cost. The price now is an “artificially high price” -said a dev.
You can’t use the current price to say it is riddiculous.
Take flax seeds for example, it is super easy to farm this. At the bottom of the Itzel Village in Vendant Brink there is a farm of flax. But people are still holding on their seeds while guilds are trying to buy. So the price is not what it should be.

Give it time.

It was already known long ago that you would need to unlock the specs prior to that announcement of number of hero points.

The only thing unknown was the exact number of hero points. Datamining suggested it would be about 250 a while ago.

finishing the weekly guild missions is enough favor + 100g to unlock it.

afaik, you dont even need to finish all missions. You dont need to convert influence.

just know that this 1st week, guild missions are pvp and wvw due to rng.

yes. But any consumbale you make now will still be available to use after Friday. Banners, seiges, etc. now have a max of 25. You can speed up or queue them now to use after Friday until they run out.

In my guild, we have 400k inf but I really can’t be bother to use them up before Friday. I’m just that lazy. I’ll just slowly convert them later after Friday.

i just want to say. when you leap through pistol 5 for stealth, point your camera straight down so you dont leap too far out of circle and can do more leaps

every single MMO that launches something new has slow connectivity, i dunno why but ether they always underestimate the horde of players at launch day or never prepair their servers for the huge load.

I believe they do not underestimate. But they know the numbers will reduce overtime. So instead of prepare too many servers that will be unused over time, they simpy just wait for it to stabilize.

But Dev has said that all queued upgrades will automatically completed after update. If you have enough influence, queue them now. Personal bank guild will be harder to make after HoT.

Your custom ranks will still be there and will for the most part have the same permissions set. You should check them over post HoT ship to make sure everything is still how you want it and to set the new permissions.

There are two types of new permissions, those that replace old ones and those that are just new.
All the “just new” ones will be unset for existing ranks other than leader.
The ones that replace old ones will be set to whatever the one they are replacing is set to.

Example of replaced permissions:
“Guild Stash Deposit” will no longer exist and instead you will see “Guild Stash – Deposit Items” and “Guild Stash – Deposit Gold”, both the new permissions will be set to whatever “Guild Stash Deposit” was set to.

Example of a new permission:
“Arena Decorator” is just new and will not be set on any of your custom ranks.

Also some permissions went away and where not replaced. An example of this is “Display Guild Emblem”. This permission in practice did nothing at all and so was removed to reduce clutter. You will not see it in any of your custom ranks post HoT.

How does the game determine “leader” rank because we don’t have one of those anymore.

He probably got in by getting on the roof then logging out and back in. If you’re on the roof of something and log out you’ll be on the ground underneath when you log back in.

it’s actually the other way. You relog when being under something. When you’re at some place not reachable, the game always put you on the highest place with collision.

Anet publics the API that let third party developers access lot of different information. Read only, not write. So they can’t change anything in your account. And it is safe because they are the information Anet chooses to public.

Then using that raw information, the developer presents it in his own way. It all depends on the creativity of the developer. If there’s something missing, it’s either the developer didnt think of it, missed it or it’s not available.

Your rewards are the time and contents that you enjoyed for the past years that new players won’t be able to experience and play. As for the Play For Free players, they can’t enjoy the game restriction free like you can (go read more on all the restrictions they have)

Time is your advantage. You got all the things in the past years that new players wont be able to experience or get.
The price is for the expansion. Core game is now free. It was already priced at $10 prior to expansion announcement.
If you upgrade before the release date, you will get 1 free char slot (a $10 value).

Flippers actually take gold out of the economy and bring the price spread of an item closer together.

If you think flippers are the source of all evil, there are two simple things you can do to stop them:

Only buy your stuff through buy orders and never sell your stuff to the highest bidder.

Not entirely true, fractals get more gold, SW get more gold, and even Orr can get more gold per hour then dungeons. Flipping is doing nothing but increasing gold price for some items, and those people don’t even do things, those people are not even players, out there are tons of people that already use tons of applications that already self track best deal items to flip them.

This is ruining game experience and should be stopped, gold flow can be managed through anet, TP abuse cannot be, there for something has to be done!

I believe Wanze meant dungeons generate new gold and cause inflation.

SW, Orr … only give you materials which you trade with other people and dont generate new gold.

sigil of leeching is the default sigil for eternity. Stats are not chosen because they are not bounded yet.

But with legendary, stats can be changed any time when out of combat.

There are certain things that are cross-region as you mentioned (chat, party, mail, dungeon popup, guild…)

But playing together are region-locked.

One reason it might be cheaper to buy Eternity than to craft it is that if you create Twilight and Sunrise, you can unlock their skins (account-binding them,) and then forge them into Eternity, which you can sell. You don’t end up with a legendary weapon or the Eternity skin, but you get Twilight and Sunrise skins, and you make back at least 3200g in the process. (Highest buy order: 3793, then take off 15% for TP fees)

With that money, you’re well on your way to making another legendary. You could probably buy any one-handed legendary with the profit, or save up another couple hundred and get whatever you want besides Eternity.

another way (which is better imo), is to craft Twilight and Sunrise and sell them both. Then you that money to buy an Eternity (which is less than Twilight + Sunrise). Then you end up with all 3 skins, and ~2000g.

it’s not possible to get 100% world completion before getting to lv80.

also, in about 2 weeks, the exp wont be wasted with mastery system. well unless you dont have HoT

100g and favor.

i remember reading somewhere that doing 2 or 3 of the weekly guild missions can earn enough favor to get guild hall. The dev did say it should be unlockable in 1 week. So either a few or all of the guild missions.

gw2 crafting is the fastest and least painful of all the mmo I have played

i have no plan on using rev (i dont even have all current professions yet) or elite specs yet.

wielding them was the old animation.

they changed it to be in the back a while ago (since last halloween iirc) to fix some other bug. Chainsaw the Skeleton was a casualty and it sucks =.=

Ranger losing pet was a bug in beta. there’re some threads about it in Bug and Ranger Sub Forums

As far I can see, you can’t invite people on friend list if they are in a different map.

And if they are in same map, but different ip, someone has to leave squad to party and taxi them. Repeat for everyone.

This is kinda of annoying when trying to organize for a raid.

is there really no reset today (saturday)?

because our guild already did guild missions last saturday (9/26) at 11pm. Today (10/3) we just ran to do a make up run for people that miss. But somehow people that already did last saturday got normal popup chests and guild commendations.

Something’s not right?

keep in mind you are paying for future updates too that could be for 3 next years, not just things that have been announced and available on day 1.
