For example I can solo any camp easily and fast on the Reaper.

Yeah I can too without a prob but it takes at least a min to kill everything and wait for the cap. ive been seeing it done in 15-20 sec. and thats with the 5 or so sec it takes to get to the camp from when Ive seen them. Maybe 30 sec at the most.

I’m sure anet has seen the many many tweets i’ve been spamming about dieing to lag, skill lag etc. But all in all I think world linking has been awesome. There is coverage at all hours, Fights at all hours. I’ve not seen any downtime yet. I’m sure after things settle this will be different but I have to say that this is the most fun i’ve had in wvw for probably 2 years.
That being said…. The skill lag is awful. And well I get irritated when I die cuz skills 6-0 will not activate and hence the tweet spam.
IF anet can alleviate the skill lag during fights and still keep the linking it would be the best thing since peanut butter.
EDIT: I’m sure anet has already heard enuf time about the 2 hr queues.

Lately I’ve noticed just a few players can take camps almost instantly and take towers without the swords popping up. I’ve seen it mostly during EU time and from HoD server.
So tell me how is this happening? For example, I watched 3 HoD run into a camp that was t2 i think and maybe about 15-20 sec later the camp flipped. The same HoD were at Aldon’s tower and using catas on it and the wall was at 25% (a fortified wall) and no swords. These same HoD did the same thing with Golanta and Klovan.
So is this bugs being exploited or hacks or what? I’ve seen this from other servers as well and different time zones so not to just pick on HoD. My examples are from HoD cuz well it just happened like 10 minutes ago.
EDIT: I forgot to add that the “protect” event doesn’t pop either when this is happening.

sounds like you have corrupted sectors on your harddrive and your pc is trying to write to those sectors while youre playing the game. My suggestion would be to get a new one esp if the hdd is old.
Either that or you are running out of room.
could be a ram issue too. you could perform a ram test to see if you have dead ram.

Anet pls I am tired of getting the Out Of Range Error when my opponent is right in front of me. Will you pls fix this. It’s been going on for months now. Tired of losing fights cuz I can’t hit my opponent.
EDIT: I forgot to say that this is happening in WvW. I don’t know about pve or pvp. And it’s happening mainly with ranged weapons like sceptor, and bow and pistol. And it’s happened a few times with gs. but with gs i get an “obstructed” error instead.

on another note, anet would be kings to bring in multi professions as in gw1. That would open up all the build diversity you need while balancing in the process. The balance would come from the amount of diversity in the builds. NO matter what anet does, there will always be skills and builds that are way op to other classes and builds. Every class will have at least one of these builds.

I’d like to request for Fort Aspenwood to have a name change to either Forever Outnumbered or Forever Against Stacked Servers.

I think everyone is forgetting what was said about expansions before gw2 was even released.
Besides hyping up WvW as a selling point and then completely ignoring WvW even now 3 1/2 yrs later.
They also said that there would be no expansions to buy or have to buy like other games. That all new content would be delivered as living story updates so there would be no need for expansions and now we have one they released and they’re already working on another one? And the first one isn’t even complete? One they said we’d never have to buy?
Something seems wrong with this picture. But hey I guess as long as the guys profiting from all this (NcSoft) is getting paid why should they care?

Personally I could care less about legendaries or lw or anything of that sort. All I really do is WvW.
And let me remind you that THE MAIN SELLING POINT FOR GW2 WAS WVW!!! WvW was all the hype made by arenanet before it was released. And yet anet has since turned its back on it. The only reason I purchased gw2 was for WvW. And had to buy HoT cuz you essentially made it a p2w game as the elite specs for the classes are way overpowered compared to the normal classes.
I’ve been teetering on the edge of quitting gw2 for good as is the same for so many gw2 players and you’ve already lost a huge percentage of the wvw players. Maybe it’s time anet cut its losses and rethought priorities here. Mainly, balance, fixing wvw and adding new content, maps etc. forget about legendaries, new skins on trading post and other non essential things anet keeps throwing at us to distract us.

EDIT: I have to add that all it’s going to take to make anet fail for good is another game being released that has the content players are looking for. A game with a mode like WvW that is balanced and that will be the end of gw2. And I’m pretty sure there are some developers out there working on it. Time is ticking.

Actually, TC and FA were letting DB win so that DB could gain glicko so that DB could stay in T2 as tc and FA want SoS out cuz SoS do nothing but siege hump, and bunker towers. And run from fights the only time they try to fight is when its 20v10 and they are super condi so yeah.

I main a necromancer (reaper) and when I am fighting I have noticed repeatedly that consume conditions take longer than the 1 1/4 sec indicated on the tool tip. And this happens when not slowed or whatever. I counted it last night every time I used it and the time it takes seems to be sporadic from the 1 second all the way up to 3 seconds to activate. IDK if this is due to map lag, wvw, lag or whatever but it seriously needs to be looked at. This happens in wvw regardless of how many other players are around.
For example, I was taking a camp on a dead or empty borderland and used consume conditions and it took 3 seconds to activate. If this is due to the animation slowing it down then maybe the tool tip needs to be fixed to indicate the proper activation time.

This skill needs a nerf. I know there’s going to be whiners that abuse this skill. But for a skill to do so much damage at 1500 range, interrupts and adds burning with no indication its coming and no way to defend against it, unless you’re perma blocking, Is unbalanced. Shorten then range to 900 or so, remove the burning and its all good.

I have to agree with this even tho the person posting is not let’s say ever going to be on my friends list. The banners seriously need a nerf.
With the new specializations and upgrades etc wvw has turned to nothing but cancer.
Large groups running mostly nothing but Dragonhunters, Kill shot berserkers revenants with hammer and mesmers. These are probably the most broken classes there are right now and pair all that with the banners and it’s just aids.
And as for the argument of the small vs. large groups. Anet has always been for the blobs. They created WvW around blobs. So the smaller guilds and groups are always going to get the shaft from Anet. This is the kind of stuff that happens when Anet only listens to morons that are on t1 blobbing servers that rarely go into wvw at all. And they only listen to them cuz they are popular on YouTube or twitch or wherever.

RNG may be RNG but I have noticed playing since launch on main account I have horrible RNG. On alt account that I’ve been playing maybe 6 months I get exotic drops, a precursor and ascended drops. And others have noticed this sort of thing too. I think maybe anet needs to look into older accounts and RNG. Don’t just pass it off as RNG. My main account has 230% mf before buffs and my alt account has maybe 125% at the most. It’s so bad that I do all my farming on my alt account cuz I get around approximately 10 t6 an hour depending on farm. On my main account doing same farms I might get 1 an hour.

got stuck inside the cliff side outside of Klovan Gully. I am on Fort Aspenwood so the tier 2 Eternal Battlegrounds map. I used the Overcharged Shot from Engineer rifle that put me in there.

The Mini Charitable Gift Skritt doesn’t unlock in the wardrobe when putting into the mystic forge to get the Mini Munificent Gift Skritt. I really don’t want to have to remake the Charitable just to get it unlocked that would mean we would have to make 5 of them. 4 for the Munificent and one for the wardrobe. Unless you intended for this to be a gold sink.

I just witnessed the Stoic Rampart keep on Blackgate Desert Borderlands upgrade when it had 10 minutes left for the upgrade. I’ve also seen where towers go from basic after just being captured to reinforced in less than 15 minutes. Is this actually a bug or can guilds/players rush the upgrades? If not then the timers seem to be bugged. It doesn’t happen to every tower it seems to be random.

I had somebody in my party and we were both at the entrance. I entered and then my party member entered and it put in same instance.

The summoned Ice Elementals in the Snowball Mayhem are doing 6500 damage per hit with little to no cooldown? that is overpowered and needs to get fixed. So far I have seen more and more people switching to elementals after discovering this. It is destroying this part of the festival. Please fix anet.

I know the condi neckbeards will not like this but the condis in this game need to be nerfed. 3k burning damage per tick 1k poison etc etc and all condis being able to be applied at once is just out of control. This needs to stop. People need to learn how to play instead of just spamming condis.

So while on the borderlands at the “lava keep” (can’t remember the proper name), pets are being burned as if they are standing in lava when they aren’t. And it’s killing all pets. And since it’s actually easier to see then me to type I uploaded a vid of it and will post the link. This happens on all borderlands while at the “lava keep”.
Ranger Pet Bug

Yeah so I deleted a beta character and then logged out. When I logged in that beta character slot was now a regular character slot so that I now have only 3 beta slots instead of 4. I’m not sure if this is a bug you really care about but I really don’t need the extra slot.

Yes this is happening with me. I’m not about to take advantage and open the daily chests. No need to risk a ban due to exploiting a bug.

There is no “tank” based professions. They have a defense legendary equipped and a Condi Legendary stance thats their only options.

Celestial gear sucks on nearly everyone. It has some decent uses for certain build of certain classes but in general it’s terrible gear. It doesn’t allow you to specialize in something but instead forces you to be a jack of all trades, something the revanant is not able to even remotely do. Celestial gear is probably the very worst on revanant then any other profession, due to the very limited profession options you have.

It’s not a “meta” thing, it’s just how that profession is designed.

Have you even bothered changing around the traits? They had 2 axes, 2 maces and a hammer available to use each with different sigils. It was very easy for me to figure out how to do optimal damage while using the gear I was provided. But then again I know how to make my own builds and not go to a site to hunt down builds.

1. While using Vengeful Hammers, it would not activate the hammers when I was next to a wall. But the energy used was still taken. This happened several times.
2. Field of the Mists would activate underground while on an incline and would not be effective. Also, every time using Field of the Mists it did not block any projectiles. At least nothing that was noticable.

Ping issues will depend upon your internet provider, your computer ethernet card, etc, etc, I was on NA and played on EU for a while before xfering that account to NA. Ping was not really high at all. 126 average. I did notice a half second to a second skill lag when there a lot of players around but not bad at all.

A year and a half later Anet still hasn’t fixed the Serpent’s Strike for norn rangers. Don’t hold your breath on this one.

I suggest that when charr fight that fur flies everywhere. And the fur on backs and tail spike up. Now that would be super funny.

Everybody has already said what I was going to say basically. I did not have any fps issues at all or lag issues even tho I was streaming. So maybe the fps drops some are experiencing is PC related and not game related.

I agree. Perhaps auto gliding instead of having to press a key to do it. I highly doubt anybody will just fall to their deaths.
One issue I noticed is that when I pressed the key to glide it took a second to actually start and at other times it took a cpl presses in order for it to take.

EDIT: just made a backup from bin folder and deleted it from the install folder, instant loaded into the game.

I can’t download the update. All it says is that it’s initializing and then stays on that. I’ve tried restarting client several times with the same outcome. It hasn’t downloaded any of the patch yet.

I’ve finally made up my mind. All the medi guards and turret engis and pu mesmos and all the other “always win” builds have me fed up.
Can’t even go into pvp anymore without some medi guard bursting you down before you have time to react or some turret engi being able to hold a point against your entire team and being forced to make premade teams cuz eveyone else is and rolling over non premade teams.
Or going into wvw and cant do a thing cuz a condi thief hits you and if you get him down to almost dead then he just hits sr and comes back full hp.
I’m done. so many things broke in this game and anet keeps it going cuz the esports teams all use these “easy to win” builds.
And I don’t care if this thread gets trolled by all the anet and cheese build white knights cuz i wont be back to look at it.

So after making a life steal build I am of the belief that life steal needs buffed on necro. It takes forever to kill anything even with max healing power and everything. I’ve ran almost every possible combination with life steal the focus and its just not worth it. In order to have enuf life steal to be a true life steal build you lose out on a lot of damage and well it’s not efficient.

May not be the most optimal at first but when you get used to it it can be pretty darn strong. I’ve been able to fight 1v3 with it at times.

That’s a quasi power build. Altho it would be nice for power necro users its not what I really want.
