People were asking for nerfs right after Tequatl was updated, but it still ended up being an incredibly awesome fight- this game needs more challenging content, not less challenging.
and guess what? the tequatl event is now dead, at least on my server, we’ve been doing it every day since it came out, and now everybody just got sick of all the waiting and stooped doing it. There are now not enough people there and the event is impossible to complete.
Did anyone enjoy finding all those teeths/claws/scales? nope
Did anyone enjoy the kill x aetherblades in y maps? didn’t even bother
Did anyone enjoy go to x balloon in y maps? nope
Did anyone enjoy smash x pinatas? completely skipped that update
It doesn’t even have to be voiced, make it an ingame book or something that I can read, but I want my game story inside the game not somewhere on the website.
It doesn’t really take a cutting edge PC to make the game look good, my PC is 2 years old and can run it on high settings perfectly.

the living story isn’t really something a player who quit will get excited about. Just imagine that you quit a long time ago and uninstalled the game, now you hear that they’re going to have a new update that adds one additional path to the TA dungeon. Would you really be willing to download 20+ GB again just for that?
I spent nothing except the original purchase price of the game, and I love it, that’s the reason I bought the game in the first place, I didn’t want to pay a subscription but I was also sick of all the pay to win free MMOs

screw it, i’m done with gw2 at least for now. This latest farming patch game me so much gold that i bought everything i ever wanted in the game, and now it’s just pointless, no reason to play it anymore and there’s no way in hell that i’m crafting a stupid ascended weapon, the fact that they put a freaking cooldown on crafting is pathetic, a shameful way to artificially increase the time you need to craft one.

the point is that anet is creating inflation by allowing people to earn lots of money fast, and since there isn’t really anything to spend gold on, people buy gems driving the prices sky high. And when everything is over and you can’t make gold so easy anymore, the gem prices will stay high, so if you want something from the gem store you’ll have to pay real money.
judging by the latest patch, they want you to mindlessly grind all day every day, probably preparing the game for the asian players
why bother finishing the event when you get a lot more money if you just farm champs?
I tried doing it once, even managed to gather around 15 people, we couldn’t do it, it was too hard. We even tried multiple times, every time an event failed we tried again but it was impossible. Wasted about 3 hours that time, ever again.

They want to create inflation so the gem prices skyrocket, then when this living story ends you won’t be able to make as much money in so little time anymore but the gem prices will stay high so if you want gems you’ll have to buy them with real money or bust your kitten ingame trying to make gold.
It is, I don’t know any of the candidates and I couldn’t care less who wins, the achievements are rubbish, they just make us do the same things we’ve been doing for months (do events while supporting a candidate, fractals, daily). Candidate trials, again not really fun. The only good thing is the southsun survival and aspect arena (maybe). Survival is a lot of fun and I kept playing it even after I got my achievements, aspect arena on the other hand i didn’t like, but maybe that’s just me, mainly because it’s a team game and every match half of my team has no idea what they’re doing so they carry the charge to the enemy base or they just run around thinking it’s a death match game. Over all 3/10, will not bother doing most of the achievements

But they are forcing you to play the stupid time limited content, if you don’t play when THEY want you to play you’re stuck with the same old content and that’s just stupid. Plus the achievements for the living story crap are a grindfest
People might come back if the added some PERMANENT content, i didn’t play in months, this time limited stuff is crap it’s like they’re saying “play when WE want you to play or kitten off”
