I feel empathy for your situation. I also enjoy seeing my character progress and become better. (Titles, Game Play, Unique Skins, etc)

Things to make you stand out. I have just finished one of my long term goals of acquiring all of the legendary weapons my favorite profession can use. Even if it’s a weaker weapon I will rarely if ever use. (I’m looking at you Frenzy)

I was in a spot where I wondered where my next bit of progression would be. I have decided to go for 300% magic find next. This will take me quite a while if I don’t just buy it all with gold. For now I have been having fun salvaging and watching my MF trickle upwards. I would like to offer this as a suggestion. PvP loot will be affected by it, and even when you hit the 300% cap, there is potential for them to raise it higher. You can technically still add MF at the cap but it doesn’t increase the numbers. I assume this means it will be raised in the future. Cheers!

Currently the Upgrade Extractor is primarily for the super expensive infusions.
I would like to see the price come down some as well though. I have used the Extractor for Fine infusions.

Boss chests in dungeons are now limited to once a day. Champion loot bags and dungeon tokens from the bosses themselves will not be limited in this way.

DR is soulbound. When farming I try to swap to a new character on the hour if I am staying in one zone farming similar mobs. (Orr, FGS, etc etc)

I would like to encourage you not to use thieves guild for the gate controller, and instead saving it for the last boss.

Thief – Shortbow and any traits helping Shortbow, initiative or mobility. (Place Shortbow #4 preëmptively and #5 to get in melee-range and start spamming those cluster bombs #2.) Utilities obviously aimed at Mobility aswell, maybe Caltrops.

I would like to offer a suggestion/expand on the above for thieves.

Weapon-set: Short bow

Cluster bomb- Tagging (Make sure to detonate it)
Infiltrators Arrow -Movement
Choking gas is there but I would suggest using your ini for Cluster Bombs.

Heal
Signet of Malice

Utilities
Shadowstep – Movement
Infiltrators Signet – Movement + Ini regen
Free Slot (Roll for Ini, Signet of Shadows w/e floats your boat)

Elite Daggerstorm
Hits multiple targets, bounces, reflects

Ok when a new pack of mobs appears if you are not on their spawn already use a blink to get there and start cluster-bombing.

I hope that helps any thieves who want to try this farm, but don’t have a guardian yet.

Coordinating Combo Fields (Ex Stealth Opener + Might stacking)
Taking and controlling secondary objectives (Skyhammer, Treb, or Cannon)

All of these things greatly benefit from having instant communication over VoiP.

I can’t agree with your statement. Communication is needed in this game and VoiP seems to me to to be the best way to communicate.

For those suggesting getting on a seperate VOIP,

Please understand the difficulty in being able to reliably do this in certain parts of this game.

Personal Observations

PvE Guilds I have been in have all had some form of VoiP for
-Guild Missions and associated events (Bounty, Puzzle, Mission, etc.)
-Dungeon (Speed Clearing, Casual, Roleplay)
-Open World Events (Mostly coordinating larger events like Teq and Wurms)

PvP Teams I have been watching on streams use it for
-Team Queue
- Sync Queueing
- When someone already knows the server info of someone else they may join up for solo queue as well (highly unlikely with pugs)

WvW
-Every guild I have been a part of has had a personal VoiP Server
-Every Server I have been a part of has had a personal VoiP Server

If you have type, your be prepared to get typefragged

I would like to have a Push to Talk button for communication.

Reason: We can be easily punished by communicating to our team. This can happen by the time it takes to type out a simple message to help your team.

Example: Ever See a message where it looks like there was something being typed followed by a string of weird character (typically a combination movement commands and skill use ) and then in a few moments you realize the person was attacked while typing and frantically tried to leave the chat to get back to combat.

Personal Thoughts: I feel this is counter-intuitive & it encourages people to not communicate.

Good Scenario: I communicate and make a positive impact on my team because I provided them with information useful to winning the match.

Bad Scenario: I communicate and make a negative impact on my team because I wasted time communicating when I could have been participating in combat. The Team didn’t notice the message in chat and someone noticed me suddenly stop moving all together and decided to attack me. I am now slightly panicked because my reflex tells me to move my avatar and use defensive skills, however what happens is my team sees this message.

Hi, I have an interest in playing the Chinese client. There are several differences in their version that will make playing it different and I think that would be fun if just to try it. One difference I have read is the restrictions on trait points.

I would like to know if it would be acceptable/possible for me to gain access to a Chinese client when it launches?

While I know I would have to purchase the Chinese Client, if this is allowed I have a few thoughts on what restrictions I might encounter in trying to achieve my goal of experience this alternate client.

I hope in my attempts to clarify what I am asking hasn’t caused more confusion. I can be terrible at expressing myself.

Ele is a fine class. (WvW, & PvE)
I will elaborate some more on my statement.

I had an ele “A R C H O N” from GW1 with Obsidian Armor.
This was my favorite set of all of them.
This was also the first set I made.

I have a great fondness for this armor set and if I had a way to make my ele remind me of playing GW1 Ele I would feel much stronger attachment to the character/ invest more time into it. I hope that helps clear up any confusion.

I expect the Bazaar will not be every year if we are to listen to lore. It is supposed to be very rare that the Bazaar touches down. Wooden Potatoes made a video citing it’s rarity. I would welcome it back since it was one of the more popular Living Story releases.

Adding to what Carpboy.7145 said also don’t use this in PvP, save this for WvW.

When stacking vs Spider in AC make sure you have someone who is bringing condition cleanse for the group. If I die on spider it’s because one of two things. We didn’t clear conditions or someone moved and caused the spider to do it’s ranged poison attack.

When stacking and you need to dodge, dodge into the wall so you don’t actually move anywhere. (You may need to press and hold the movement key in the direction of the wall or else you will by default evade backwards)
