There will be costs associated with adding features to the game.
To say it would greatly increase the costs of Solo-Q is an assumption. It easily could be a minimal cost to add this functionality. For now I’m going to leave this as there is no way to determine with accuracy the costs for ANET to do this.
For Solo Queue – If implemented would allow for greater coordination. As stated previously. To expect your solo queue team to do the following:
a. Have VoiP
b. Have the correct Application
c. Have the time to connect to the VoiP server
Having this expectation can be disheartening. I doubt it would work out often.
For Team Queue – This would put randoms in a better position to fight off pre-mades. Optimally solo-queuer’s will not be paired up with Team Queue but that is for another discussion.
I see adding VoiP as beneficial for the whole game, but primarily for sPvP.
Our voice is one of our greatest assets. I would love to be able to employ it in sPvP.

I agree with you, it shouldn’t be forced on anyone. It should be given as an optional tool at their disposal should they want to with the ability to mute/ report anyone who abuses it.

Agree, I envision this VOIP to have it’s own resources that do not impact the game. So if your voice coms dropped you can continue to play and vice versa.

for example, each level of “PvP Reward Tracks Upgrade” will increase the pvp rewards tracks by a certain percentage, for example,
say, 100 gems to buy a “PvP Reward Tracks Upgrade” that gives a 10% increase per level per “PvP Rewards Track Upgrade”
but would it cause problems later on?
if someone who spent 10,000 gems would have a 1000% increase, they can simply get some points and afk for the rest of the game for their rewards.

We have something like this via Magic Find.
While not exactly a boost to Reward tracks it does affect the loot you get from the tracks bags / boxes / chests.

This combined with the silly auto queue system is costing anet players.
It’s costing PVP’s community health when those players can’t play for days.

i could play as a celestial thief. its should be good and for pve and for www without gear changing . somth like that
1. Wearing Celestial gear would not be so detrimental to your pve experience that it would render it impossible, however to say it would be good for PvE would be false.
Personal Thoughts – It will make content take longer and give very little in return. That is the cost of convenience though you can use the same gear for power or condition, it will be a weaker choice for either, but you can sacrifice effectiveness to save gold on gear. You only want celestial gear if you are going to be utilizing 4+ stats which a thief typically doesn’t.
2. Statistically it would not be an optimal choice for WvW under most circumstances. (There are a very few niche hybrid thief builds that can be effective and do use it.)

PvE Beserker. – Proven to be the most efficient
WvW – Beserker, Valkyrie, (Soldier/Beserker Mix )*

In that image I see four hits.
1. Steal
2. Slice
3. Flame Blast
4. Lightning Strike
+5% damage in a build with 2000 power would be +100 power
It’s generally better to get as many damage % modifiers as possible and then worry about power, but I am suggesting pack because it will give you the fury. (since that’ is what you were originally after)

I would suggest away from runes of rage primarily because that rune doesn’t have any power. Runes of the Pack will give you the same fury proc’s as rage, and give you power. The down side is slightly less fury duration. GL mate!
Unbuffed stats with Pack runes:
Power: 2113
Precision (w/o SoA): 1684 ( 41% crit chance)
Precision (w/SoA): 1864 ( 49% crit chance)
Ferocity: 447 (180% crit damage)

We absolutely want to make build templates. They could work similar to GW1, but there are more components to a build now. Using the old string-code method may prove to be unwieldy.
Things that must be in a template:
- Weapons
- Sigils
- Rune
- Amulet
- Skills
- Traits
What could be in a template:
- Skins
- Dyes
- Outfit
- Finisher
Things to consider:
- Sharing (chat links? codes? urls?)
- Viewing (seeing some else’s vs. seeing your own)
- Saving (notepad vs. local vs. account vs. web)
- Building (one spot in UI vs. multiple spots)
- Websites (third-party sites should work with in-game)
- APIs (Could expose an API to third-parties)
- PvP vs PvE vs WvW (each mode requires different configuration options)

Apparently, 2 0 0 6 6 sucked up until a month or two ago as well, and now everybody thinks it’s amazing in spite of the fact that very little changed about the build itself (outside of Runes of Strength)…
I would like to add there are other changes that affected the rise of this build that you may not have considered.
One of which is the nerf to Critical Damage.
Like best weapon set to use – Sword Pistol / Shortbow
What healing skill to use – Signet of Malice
And when i do hit level 30 what trait lines i should unlock first – Critical Strikes

Use the offhand pistol 5 black poweder for a blind field and auto attack, 4 seconds later if mobs are still alive repeat. (black powder lasts 4 seconds) If you need to heal up use P-Whip and Signet of malice’s passive heal should be enough to get you back to full if you are fighting multiple mobs.
I wouldn’t suggest using both Blinding Powder and P-Whip at the same time. Vs Trash Mobs Blinding Powder will make you a god, and vs creatures with defiant time your P-whip to give you evasion frames during their most lethal attacks. GL

My deal with caring if she leaves/left is that she communicated with the general forum user to start. You saying she didn’t do anything is an abject lie. To say nothing changed because of her is also false. (read her interactions on the forums and check over the feature patch notes, then eat your words pls) Saying she didn’t care because she was paid is narrow-minded. Just because someone is paid to do something doesn’t remove care/concern. You want to slander her here, but it’s not appreciated. Allie was a great community asset and I consider her a personal friend.
They are expensive!
This is the most common reason I hear of people not using optimal/meta runes.

It’s not based on feedback from players, but rather the difficulty in starting balance on underwater skills. There was a patch where they fixed some skills that were broken underwater and much later we saw the removal of Raid on the Capricorn. This is in my opinion because it’s difficult to balance skills and even more so for underwater skills. They fixed some of the underwater skills so they could be used in PvE and then realized it would take too much time/effort/resources to fix/balance the underwater skills.
Would love to see this still fixed to animate properly. Let’s hope this gets seen and fixed in the next patch.
